Abstract
The invention relates to the field of polymer chemistry, in particular to the synthesis of a ternary copolymer of decyl methacrylate, o-allylphenol and styrene and its use as a bactericidal additive in petroleum oils. General formula: where n=30 m=14 p=18 and a molecular weight of 12,000, a ternary copolymer of decylmethacrylate, o-allylphenol, and styrene was claimed as a bactericidal additive to petroleum oils.
