A uv light curable emulsifier, its preparation method and application

Abstract

This invention provides a UV-curable emulsifier, its preparation method, and its application. Polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester, a catalyst, and a polymerization inhibitor are mixed. Under nitrogen protection, ethyl isocyanate acrylate is added dropwise to the mixture. After the reaction is complete, the UV-curable emulsifier is obtained. The UV-curable emulsifier of this invention has strong emulsifying ability for UV-curable monomers or resins. The prepared emulsion coating has small particle size and is stable in storage. When applied to water-based UV-curable coatings, it can participate in the reaction, overcoming the problem of poor water resistance of the paint film caused by emulsifier residue due to the emulsifier not participating in the light-curing process in existing emulsifier preparation methods.
