Female terminal and connector

Abstract

To provide a female terminal and a connector that can simplify the structure.SOLUTION: A female terminal 31 has a first peripheral wall 40 having a first tubular part 41, a second peripheral wall 50 having a second tubular part 51 facing the first tubular part 41, and a tubular connection part 60 composed of the first tubular part 41 and the second tubular part 51. The female terminal 31 has a winding-pressing part 90 that limits a separation distance between a first inner surface 42 of the first tubular part 41 and a second inner surface 52 of the second tubular part 51. The tubular connection part 60 is a first connection part into which a columnar connection part 201 of a male terminal 200 is inserted and that is electrically connected to the columnar connection part 201. The winding-pressing part 90 is formed as one piece with the first peripheral wall 40. The winding-pressing part 90 is folded inwards, while embracing the edge of the second peripheral wall 50 from the first peripheral wall 40, and is in contact with an outer surface of the second peripheral wall 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
