Abstract
To provide a colonic epithelial cell strain similar to regular cells and a method for using the same.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a mouse-derived colonic epithelial cell strain similar to regular cells, where one or more properties selected from the following (a)-(j) are superior to those of the mouse colon cancer strain CMT-93: (a) a level of affinity with UEA-1 (gorse lectin), (b) an expression level of Asialo GM1, (c) an expression level of MUC2, (d) an mRNA expression level of GA1 synthase, (e) an mRNA expression level of Fucosyltransferase 2 (FUT2), (f) an mRNA expression level of NADPH oxidase (NOX-1), (g) an mRNA expression level of TLR5, (h) an mRNA expression level of LL37, (i) an mRNA expression level of CD130, and (j) a value of transepithelial electrical resistance (TEER value).SELECTED DRAWING: None
