Abstract

This surgery assistance tool and surgery assistance system can ensure a field of view during endoscopic surgery. The surgery assistance tool (1) comprises N imaging units (2), holding units (3) that hold the respective imaging units, and a base (4). N is an integer of 3 or more. Each imaging unit is directed outward at an angle of 0-10 degrees relative to a baseline (BL) passing through the corresponding holding unit, the baseline being the orientation when N virtual lines (VL) passing through the respective holding units holding the respective N imaging units are substantially parallel and are substantially orthogonal to a virtual plane formed by the base or the holding units.
