Abstract

A water purification apparatus comprising an elongated UV source and a conduit for the water to be purified, made of a UV-transmitting material, wherein the conduit has an inlet and an outlet and is positioned so that part of it is wrapped around at least part of the UV source to sterilize the water inside the conduit, further comprising reflective means for reflecting UV radiation. over one or more parts of the duct that extend beyond the part that is wrapped around the UV source.
