Abstract

The present invention describes the synthesis and use of nanoparticles derived from the leaves of Globularia alypum, a medicinal plant native to the Gafsa region, known for its therapeutic properties. This invention makes it possible to utilize the active compounds of this plant in nanoparticle form in order to improve their efficacy and bioavailability for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders, particularly constipation. The aqueous extract of Glohularia alypum leaves contains bioactive compounds that act on the digestive system, thus facilitating intestinal transit and reducing constipation. Simultaneously, the use of AgNG allows for better absorption of the active compounds by the body. The preparation process for AgNGs involves mixing the aqueous extract of Glohularia alypum with an Ag NO3 solution and incubating for 15 minutes at 60°C.
