Description

[0001] RECESSED LIGHTING FOR OUTDOOR USE

[0002] FIELD OF INVENTION

[0003]

[0001] The present invention relates to a recessed luminaire for outdoor use. More specifically, it comprises a recessed ground luminaire, with an integrated driver and beams with various configurations, featuring an extremely small design and a click-in fastening system for practical and easy installation, without visible screws, next to the installation box. Seeking to provide more efficient lighting and with an IP67 protection rating.

[0004]

[0002] The luminaire is made of synthetic polymer and the flange is made of aluminum, and can be produced in different colors.

[0005]

[0003] The luminaire is developed in 5 models with different light beam configurations: luminaire with 360° beam, luminaire with 1 80° beam, luminaire with 2 80° beams, luminaire with 24° beam grid and luminaire with 32° beam, in addition to having a bivolt version (100-240V) and low voltage (24V).

[0006] BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0007]

[0004] An outdoor LED bollard is a lighting device specifically designed for installation in outdoor areas such as gardens, backyards, sidewalks, and patios. Its function is to provide soft, directional lighting, typically along pathways, steps, or prominent areas.

[0008]

[0005] The concept of LED bollards is to provide decorative, functional, and low-intensity lighting, creating a pleasant and safe environment at night. They can be used to delineate and highlight outdoor areas, as well as serving as a visual guide for people moving around.

[0006] Currently, there are several models of LED bollards for outdoor areas on the market, available in a variety of styles, sizes, and light colors.

[0009]

[0007] However, these current market models feature robust construction to allow the application of all internal components, in addition to lacking a specifically designed lighting effect, resulting in a crude design that presents little visual appeal to the consumer. The vast majority of these luminaires are sold only in the bulb version, lacking an LED with an integrated driver and lacking an efficient dirt and water protection rating.

[0010]

[0008] Thus, the present inventor, seeking to improve the constructive form, developed an external luminaire that presents a simplified constructiveness, manufactured in LED and with integrated driver, which presents light beams with different opening configurations, ensuring greater variability in its application.

[0011]

[0009] In research carried out on the state of the art, we identified several documents that describe solutions applied to external lighting fixtures, where we can highlight the following documents:

[0012]

[0010] Document US9845928 (UST. 2016) describes a grade luminaire provided with a corrugated housing design. The corrugated housing design improves structural integrity and airflow within the luminaire to facilitate cooling. The luminaire includes an annular door with slots aligned with the corrugations to facilitate the inflow of cool air into the housing and the exhaust of hot air from the housing.

[0013]

[0011] Document US10161621 (ABL. 2016) describes a grade luminaire with hermetically sealed components that allow water and air to pass through the luminaire to effect cooling without degrading the luminaire components.

[0014]

[0012] Document CN209294855 (Dongxu. 2018) describes an LED lighting module and a garden lamp using the same, the LED lighting module comprises a heat dissipation assembly, the heat dissipation assembly comprises a light source installation platform, a radiator, a heat storage medium, and a back cover.

[0015]

[0013] Document BR20201 4031479-8 (João Everaldo. 2014) describes an external luminaire consisting of a semi-cylindrical body; mobile handle; glass, transverse column with one or more LED plates, driver(s) and a round cover with an internal ring which has three tabs.

[0016]

[0014] Document CN2127461 19 (Shenzhen. 2021) describes an LED light source module for garden lighting, having a main body of the module whose inner part is formed by two grooves, where the middle part of the lower end of each groove is fixedly provided with a small radiating fan and the side of each groove is formed by radiating holes.

[0017]

[0015] Document CN204201628 (Li, Lin-Gang. 2015) describes an LED landscape lamp for garden decoration, has the main body of the landscape lamp located between the circuit board and the support plate, where the hollow prism column is connected to the support plate, and the circuit board fixed parallel to the main body of the glass surface.

[0018]

[0016] These documents cited in the state of the art present luminaires for outdoor use with a robust construction and which do not allow the driver to be integrated into a compact structure together with the entire electronic assembly, and furthermore they do not describe a construction which allows variability in the arrangement and application of the light beams in different versions.

[0019]

[0017] Thus, the object of the present invention is a recessed luminaire for outdoor use, with an integrated driver and beams with various aperture configurations, equipped with an extremely small design and with a click-fastening system for practical and easy installation, without visible screws. Seeking to provide more efficient lighting and with an excellent protection index against dust penetration and water jets.
