Abstract
Description
[0001] ACCESSING AND VIEWING ORGANIZED RESOURCES IN DIGITAL
[0002] LEARNING MATERIAL THROUGH DATA FILTERING
[0003] TECHNICAL FIELD
[0004] The present invention pertains to the field of education, specifically aiming at enhancement of access to various categories of digital resources by filtering organized data content and enable viewing of selected resources within digital learning materials. The system and method described herein facilitate access and viewing of various digital contents easily which are categorized based on the type of data or names through filtration, based on categorized metadata. Features such as categorization, tagging, filtering options and accessibility features create a user- friendly and easily accessible digital learning environment. Learners can efficiently find, filter, and view resources according to their preferences and learning objectives, thereby enhancing the overall learning experience.
[0005] BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0006] In the realm of educational technology, there exists a growing trend towards the development of interactive e-books and the integration of various educational features which supports the user for easy learning. Indeed, despite the numerous benefits and advancements in digital learning technology, there remain certain hindrances and challenges that users may encounter while accessing large meta and digital learning materials.
[0007] In the existing educational world, the rise of digital learning materials has significantly transformed the way individuals access and engage with educational content. The digital learning materials encompass a wide array of resources, ranging from instructional videos, instructional audios, concept explanations through videos, teaching and learning videos, additional contents for keywords, pictures, tables and multiple images. While the availability of such resources offers immense potential for enhancing learning experiences, it also presents a considerable challenge: the difficulty of accessing from the vast volume of content to find materials that align with one's specific learning needs, preferences, and objectives.
[0008] Traditionally, users faced boundaries in the educational learning materials, primarily relying on instructors and supplementary materials provided by educators. However, the advent of digital learning material with plenty of embedded resources and democratized access to the resources in the educational content, helps users to view an extensive array of resources from diverse sources and perspectives.
[0009] Despite the benefits of the digital revolution in education environment, users often encounter difficulties in efficiently locating and accessing relevant resources in the learning material. The sheer abundance and variety of digital resources in the subject can be overwhelming, leading to information overload and hindering the quick learning process. Additionally, the lack of personalized guidance from the instructor and tailored recommendations further compounds the challenge of finding resources that meet individual learning preferences and objectives.
[0010] Based on the foregoing, there is a pressing need for a systematic approach to filter and organize the different types of resources effectively. Such an approach would empower users to navigate through the vast landscape of the subject in the digital learning material content with ease, enabling them to identify and access the relevant resource material that are most relevant and beneficial to their learning goals.
[0011] There is a need for the envisioned system and method for filtering and viewing different types of resources in a digital learning material equipped with advanced filtering capabilities which fulfill the need of the users. Through this system, users can specify their filtering resources criteria based on various parameters such as subject matter, content type, difficulty level, and resource type preferences. For instance, a user may choose to filter resources by selecting a specific subject area (e.g., Unit, Chapter, Session), opting for a particular content format (e.g., instructional videos, instructional audios, concept explanation videos, teaching and learning videos, additional contents for keywords (phrases, equations and formulas), images, related set of multiple pictures, tables and the like). Additionally, students require a system that enables them to view the filtered digital learning resources and navigate through a curated selection of resources. They can preview the titles of the selected resources to assess their suitability. Users can seamlessly access the chosen resources by selecting their titles and view them directly within the digital learning material.
[0012] SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0013] The following summaries are provided to facilitate an understanding of some of the innovative features unique to the disclosed embodiment and are not intended to be a full description.
