The application discloses a cascade hydropower station operation optimization method in a carbon trading and diversified electricity price scene, comprising the following steps: a carbon quota subsidy mechanism model applicable to hydropower station generation operation scheduling is established; the optimal comprehensive economic benefit and ecological benefit of the cascade hydropower station are selected as the optimization target, related constraint conditions determined by hydrological conditions and power generation output principles are considered, and a cascade hydropower station comprehensive benefit maximum optimization model of the carbon quota mechanism is established; known quantities and to-be-solved quantities in each scene are determined; the second generation non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm is used to solve the optimization model, and based on a TOPSIS evaluation model, the cascade hydropower station generation benefit and downstream power station dry season water abandonment quantity two indexes are comprehensively evaluated to obtain a comprehensive non-inferior solution, and monthly distribution situations of power generation output and other parameters in different scenes are analyzed and compared. The method adopts a cascade hydropower station output model, can further calculate the comprehensive benefit situation of the cascade hydropower station, and provides theoretical support for planning and scheduling schemes of the cascade hydropower station.
