The embodiment of the specification provides a CO2 storage potential evaluation method and device under a heterogeneous geological condition, wherein the method comprises the following steps: acquiring a plurality of geological data at different depths at any position in a study area; performing heterogeneous modeling according to the plurality of geological data at each depth and CO2 injection conditions to obtain a one-dimensional grid model corresponding to each of the different depths, wherein the CO2 injection conditions of the one-dimensional grid models corresponding to the different depths are the same; simulating CO2 storage amounts at the different depths based on the one-dimensional grid models corresponding to the different depths respectively; fitting the plurality of geological data respectively by comprehensively considering the CO2 storage amounts at the different depths to obtain main control factors affecting the CO2 storage amounts; and analyzing the main control factors to determine a stratum affected by the main control factors as a stratum with CO2 storage potential. The embodiment of the specification can improve the accuracy of CO2 storage potential evaluation.
