The "same layer" here does not always mean that the thickness of multiple layers is the same or the height of multiple layers in the cross-sectional view is the same.

[0034] Usually, the light emitted from the liquid crystal display device is polarized light, for example, Figure 1 is a schematic diagram of a cross-sectional structure of a liquid crystal display device, such as Figure 1 As shown, the liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal display 1 and a polarizer 2 arranged on one side of the liquid crystal display 1. Light is directly emitted from the polarizer 2 to form polarized light. When the viewer receives the emitted polarized light, it will cause great damage to the macula of the fundus retina. In addition, the liquid crystal display has a display viewing angle dependence, that is, when the display is viewed from an oblique angle, the display performance, such as grayscale and contrast, is low. This is caused by the use of components such as liquid crystal and polarizer with optical anisotropy. For example, when the liquid crystal TV is viewed from different angles, there are slight color changes and light and dark changes that bring an uncomfortable feeling to the vision. In occasions where a large area display is required, the viewing angles for different positions on the screen are different. Therefore, the same display cannot be obtained in the center and periphery of the screen. Therefore, it is urgent to design a liquid crystal display device to convert polarized light into natural light to protect the eyes of the viewer, and make the emitted light more uniform and increase the emission angle, so that the user's visible viewing angle becomes larger, so that the viewer's visual experience is better. Therefore, the inventors of the present disclosure consider that a polarization dispersion film may be designed in the structure of the display substrate to convert polarized light into non-polarized light to solve the above-mentioned problem.

[0035] At least one embodiment of the present disclosure provides a display substrate, which includes: a liquid crystal display, a first polarizer and a polarization dispersion film which are stacked in sequence, the polarization dispersion film is on a side of the first polarizer away from the liquid crystal display, the material of the polarization dispersion film is a long-chain polymer material, the polarization dispersion film includes a crystalline region and a non-crystalline region, the crystalline region has strip-shaped grains, and the extension direction of the grains is a first direction. The polarization dispersion film with this structure can convert polarized light into non-polarized light, that is, into natural-like light. Converting polarized light into natural-like light can protect the eyes of viewers, and at the same time can make the emitted light more uniform and increase the emission angle, so that the user's visible viewing angle becomes larger and the viewer's visual experience is better.

[0036] For example, Figure 2 A schematic cross-sectional structure diagram of a display substrate provided in at least one embodiment of the present disclosure is shown. Figure 3 This is a schematic diagram of an enlarged structural plane of a polarization dispersion film provided by at least one embodiment of the present disclosure, combined with Figure 2 and Figure 3 As shown, the display substrate 100 includes: a liquid crystal display 101, a first polarizer 102 and a polarization dispersion film 103 which are stacked in sequence, the polarization dispersion film 103 is on a side of the first polarizer 102 away from the liquid crystal display 101, the material of the polarization dispersion film 103 is a long-chain polymer material, the polarization dispersion film 103 includes a crystalline region 1031 and a non-crystalline region 1032, the crystalline region 1031 has strip-shaped grains 1033, and the extension direction of the grains 1033 is the first direction X.

[0037] For example, the polarization dispersion film 103 is on the side of the first polarizer 102 away from the liquid crystal display 101, so that the light is first polarized in the first polarizer 102 to form linear polarized light, and the linear polarized light is then incident on the polarization dispersion film 103, and then the polarization dispersion film 103 converts the linear polarized light into non-polarized light to form natural-like light.

[0038] For example, the material of the polarization dispersion film 103 is a long-chain polymer material, which can be a polymer material with a carbon atom number greater than or equal to 10 on the main chain and a relative molecular weight greater than 10,000. Since the molecular chain of the material of the polarization dispersion film 103 is very long, it is impossible for all of them to form a crystalline state with a regular structure, and many parts can only be scattered together to form an "amorphous state", that is, the amorphous state is formed in the non-crystalline area 1032, and the crystalline state with a regular structure is formed in the crystalline area. In this way, there will be an obvious scattering interface between the crystalline area and the non-crystalline area.

[0039] For example, the optical properties of the crystalline region and the non-crystalline region are different, and the polarization dispersion film 103 formed by the long-chain polymer material is not completely transparent because there are a large number of scattering interfaces formed by the crystalline region and the non-crystalline region (amorphous state) inside.

[0040] It should be noted that when the film layer formed by the long-chain polymer material is transparent, it is because the long-chain polymer material is completely in an amorphous state, so that there is no scattering interface inside the film layer formed by the long-chain polymer material, so that the light irradiated thereon can pass completely.

[0041] For example, in one example, the long-chain polymer material includes at least one of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polyamide (PA). During the stretching process of the film formed of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polyamide (PA), strain-induced crystallization occurs, thereby increasing the crystallinity of the formed film, that is, when the film formed of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) or polyamide (PA) is uniaxially stretched, there is both orientation of amorphous molecules and orientation of crystalline molecules.

[0042] For example, the interior of the polarization dispersion film formed by polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is mostly amorphous to form a non-crystalline region, and a small amount of crystalline region is retained. In this way, while ensuring the transparency of the polarization dispersion film formed by polyethylene terephthalate (PET), it can also have some other optical properties due to the existence of the crystalline region in the film layer.

[0043] For example, when polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is used to form a polarization dispersion film, the film needs to undergo rapid cooling during the film making process, and then a special uniaxial stretching process is used to form a majority of "amorphous" molecules and a small amount of "crystalline" crystalline structures inside the polarization dispersion film.

[0044] For example, the polarization dispersion film is made of high molecular thermoplastic material and is uniaxially stretched with appropriate force when it is made. The stretching process will cause the existing crystal regions to be extended and arranged in an orderly manner in the stretching direction, and more regular multi-chain parallel crystal structures will be formed in the stretching process. When the size of the crystal region in the second direction is larger than the maximum wavelength of visible light of 760nm, the visible light cannot be diffracted and will be reflected or refracted, which will affect the polarization direction of the light, thereby effectively dispersing the polarized light.

[0045] The polarized dispersion film formed by stretching in this way contains a dispersed crystalline structure with a certain directionality. The crystalline structure forms grains extending along a first direction that can reflect or refract the light incident on the polarized dispersion film. The molecules that do not form a crystalline structure diffract the light incident on the polarized dispersion film. The two work together to convert the polarized light incident on the polarized dispersion film into non-polarized light.

[0046] For example, polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is a symmetrical linear polymer material with regular molecular chains. Polyethylene terephthalate is generally in a straight chain configuration, that is, a linear structure. Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is a saturated linear macromolecule with no branches on the main chain. The chemical structure has good regularity and symmetry, and the intermolecular force is moderate, so it can crystallize, but it will show great differences depending on the processing conditions. Therefore, its molecules and the formed crystalline areas have a particularly good polarization dispersion function after uniaxial stretching.

[0047] For example, due to the shape characteristics of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) molecules and the uniaxial stretching process, the crystallized region of the polarization dispersion film formed will be anisotropic, that is, the crystallized region has different optical properties for light incident from different angles. Since the crystallized region is affected by the uniaxial stretching process of the film formed by polyethylene terephthalate (PET), the distribution and directionality of the crystallized region in the polyethylene terephthalate film will have the characteristics of relatively uniform and consistent directionality. If the arrangement directions of the crystallized molecules in the crystallized region in the film formed by polyethylene terephthalate (PET) are messy and different, the effects of the entire polyethylene terephthalate film on polarized light of various polarization directions will be similar, and the effect of converting polarized light into non-polarized light will be poor. Because the light usually incident on the polarization dispersion film is polarized light with a regular polarization direction, only the arrangement direction of the crystallized molecules in part of the crystallized region matches the polarization direction of the polarized light, which will have an effect on converting the polarized light into non-polarized light.

[0048] It should be noted that, usually multi-directional stretching makes it easier for large molecules to break into small molecules, and will also affect the formation of crystalline areas. Different from the conventional biaxial stretching and multi-directional stretching processes, the polarized dispersion film formed by polyethylene terephthalate (PET) adopts a special uniaxial stretching process. This uniaxial stretching process can make the arrangement of the crystalline molecules in the crystalline area and the molecular arrangement in the non-crystalline area of the polyethylene terephthalate film have a certain directionality. In addition, it can also ensure the size of the grains in the crystalline area and the size of the entire crystalline area.

[0049] For example, the first direction X may be a horizontal direction. Figure 2 and Figure 3, the first direction X is a direction parallel to the display surface of the liquid crystal display 101, the display surface is the main surface of the liquid crystal display 101, and the direction perpendicular to the display surface of the liquid crystal display 101 is the second direction Z. For example, the size of the grain 1033 in the second direction Z is greater than 780nm and less than 1 / 2 of the length of the sub-pixel in the second direction, so that the visible light cannot be diffracted, and the visible light will be reflected or refracted, thereby affecting the polarization direction of the light, so that the polarized light can be effectively dispersed to convert the polarized light into non-polarized light.

[0050] For example, in one example, a plurality of crystal grains 1033 are arranged in sequence in the second direction Z. For example, the crystal grains 1033 may be located in the entire thickness direction of the polarization dispersion film 103 so that the number of the crystal grains 1033 is sufficient to fully convert polarized light into non-polarized light.

[0051] For example, Figure 3 As shown, on a plane parallel to the display surface of the liquid crystal display 101, the direction perpendicular to the first direction X is the third direction Y, and a plurality of crystal grains 1033 are also arranged in the third direction Y, and the extension direction of the plurality of crystal grains 1033 is the first direction X, so that the plurality of crystal grains 1033 can be arranged in sequence in the first direction X, the second direction Z and the third direction Y, so that the crystal grains 1033 can convert all polarized light incident on the polarization dispersion film 103 into non-polarized light.

[0052] For example, combined with Figure 2 and Figure 3 As shown, the thickness of the polarization dispersion film 103 in the second direction Z is 60 μm to 90 μm. When the thickness of the polarization dispersion film 103 is less than 60 μm, the number of grains 1033 arranged in the second direction Z is insufficient, so that the polarized light incident on the polarization dispersion film 103 is not sufficiently converted into non-polarized light. When the thickness of the polarization dispersion film 103 is greater than 80 μm, the thickness of the polarization dispersion film 103 is too large, which is not conducive to the thin and light design of the entire display substrate.

[0053] For example, in one example, the thickness of the polarization dispersion film 103 in the second direction Z is 60 μm, 65 μm, 70 μm, 75 μm, 80 μm, 85 μm or 90 μm, which is not limited in the embodiments of the present disclosure.

[0054] For example, Figure 3As shown, there are multiple strip-shaped grains 1033 in the crystallization area, and the multiple grains 1033 are arranged in sequence to form a grain group. The length of the grain group in the first direction X is the length of the polarization dispersion film 103 in the first direction X. In this way, the length of at least part of the grain group in the first direction X is long enough to ensure that the polarized light incident on the edge of the display substrate can also be converted into non-polarized light, thereby further improving the user's visible viewing angle.

[0055] For example, Figure 3 As shown, the crystal grain 1033 includes a plurality of unit cells 1033a, each unit cell 1033a includes a plurality of long-chain polymers, and the plurality of long-chain polymers are sequentially connected to form a ring arrangement, so that the unit cell 1033a can be spherical or quasi-spherical.

[0056] For example, in one example, in the polarization dispersion film 103 , the area occupied by the crystalline region is smaller than the area occupied by the non-crystalline region, so that polarized light can be converted into non-polarized light while ensuring that the light transmittance of the polarization dispersion film 103 is sufficiently high.

[0057] For example, in one example, the transmittance of the polarization dispersion film 103 is greater than 90% and less than 100%, so that the light incident on the polarization dispersion film 103 can be substantially transmitted, thereby ensuring the brightness of the display substrate during display.

[0058] For example, in one example, in the polarization dispersion film 103 , the area occupied by the crystallized region is less than 50% of the area occupied by the non-crystallized region.

[0059] For example, in one example, in the polarization dispersion film 103 , the area occupied by the crystallized region is 15% of the area occupied by the non-crystallized region.

[0060] For example, in one example, the polarization dispersion film 103 also includes a nucleating agent, which is configured to make the long-chain polymer material form microcrystals with the nucleating agent as the center, and the microcrystals are configured to refract or scatter the light incident thereon, thereby further converting the polarized light into non-polarized light, so that the emitted light is closer to natural light.

[0061] For example, the nucleating agent forms a crystal nucleus during the curing process of the polarization dispersion film, and then the long-chain polymer included in the polarization dispersion film forms a microcrystal with the crystal nucleus as the center, and the microcrystal also refracts or scatters the light incident thereon. By controlling the size of the formed microcrystals, it can work together with the polarization dispersion film, and can also achieve the effect of converting polarized light into natural light.

[0062] For example, in at least one embodiment of the present disclosure, the nucleating agent includes at least one of carbon black, graphite, zinc powder, aluminum powder, silicon dioxide, zinc oxide, magnesium oxide, aluminum oxide, ferrous oxide, talc, clay, pyrophyllite, carbonate, silicate, sulfate, alkali metal monocarboxylate, alkali metal benzoate, aromatic hydroxysulfonic acid metal salt, magnesium salt of organic phosphorus compound, zinc salt of organic phosphorus compound and alkali metal salt of polyester oligomer, but the embodiments of the present disclosure are not limited thereto, and the nucleating agent may also include other materials, as long as it is possible to form a crystal nucleus during the curing process of the polarization dispersion film, and then the long-chain polymer included in the polarization dispersion film forms microcrystals with the crystal nucleus as the center, and the microcrystals will also refract or scatter the light incident thereon.

[0063] For example, in one example, the particle size or equivalent particle size of the nucleating agent may be 1 μm, 4 μm, 6 μm, 10 μm, 12 μm, 14 μm, 16 μm or 18 μm, which is not limited in the embodiments of the present disclosure.

[0064] For example, in another example, the particle size or equivalent particle size of the nucleating agent may also be nanoscale, for example, 100 nm to 500 nm.

[0065] For example, in another example, when the nucleating agent is silicon dioxide, the silicon dioxide can be nano-sized silicon dioxide, for example, the particle size or equivalent particle size of the silicon dioxide is 1nm to 100nm. For example, the particle size or equivalent particle size of the silicon dioxide is 1nm, 5nm, 10nm, 15nm, 20nm, 30nm, 40nm, 50nm, 60nm, 70nm, 80nm, 90nm or 100nm, etc., and the embodiments of the present disclosure are not limited to this.

[0066] For example, the first polarizer 102 can achieve a polarization effect.

[0067] For example, the liquid crystal display 101 may be a liquid crystal box formed by an array substrate, a color filter substrate and a liquid crystal layer, or may be a liquid crystal display with a touch function.

[0068] For example, Figure 2 As shown, a first adhesive 104 is arranged between the first polarizer 102 and the polarization dispersion film 103, a cover plate 105 is arranged on the side of the polarization dispersion film 103 away from the liquid crystal display 101, and a second adhesive 106 is arranged between the cover plate 105 and the polarization dispersion film 103, and the first adhesive 104 and the second adhesive 106 are both optically transparent adhesives.

[0069] For example, since the first adhesive 104 is sticky, the polarization dispersion film 103 and the first polarizer 102 can be tightly bonded, so that there is no gap between the polarization dispersion film 103 and the first polarizer 102, and there is no air between the polarization dispersion film 103 and the first polarizer 102, which can reduce the reflection of ambient light and thus improve the contrast of the displayed image.

[0070] For example, the second adhesive 106 can tightly connect the cover plate 105 and the polarization dispersion film 103 and ensure the transmittance of light.

[0071] For example, the cover plate 105 can protect the liquid crystal display to prevent mechanical damage to the liquid crystal display caused by scratches by external mechanical forces.

[0072] For example, Figure 2 As shown, a touch layer 107 is disposed between the first polarizer 102 and the liquid crystal display 101 , and a second polarizer 108 and a light source structure 109 are sequentially disposed on a side of the liquid crystal display 101 away from the first polarizer 102 .

[0073] For example, the touch layer 107 can be used to detect external touch. In one example, the touch layer 107 can also be integrated into a liquid crystal display composed of a color film substrate, a liquid crystal layer and an array substrate, thereby eliminating the need to prepare a special touch layer.

[0074] For example, the second polarizer 108 can also achieve the function of polarization.

[0075] For example, the light source structure 109 can be a light emitting diode (LED), a superluminescent diode (SLD) or a laser as a backlight source, and the superluminescent diode has high brightness comparable to a laser light source and low interference like an LED. When the above light sources are used, the influence of speckle noise is unlikely to appear, which can improve the image quality. For example, the backlight source is a blue light emitting diode, a superluminescent blue light emitting diode or a blue laser light source that emits blue laser.

[0076] For example, Figure 2 As shown, the liquid crystal display 101 includes an array substrate 1011 and a color filter substrate 1012 that are arranged opposite to each other, and a liquid crystal layer 1013 sandwiched between the array substrate 1011 and the color filter substrate 1012 , and the touch layer 107 and the color filter substrate 1012 are arranged adjacent to each other.

[0077] For example, in one example, the angle between the first direction X and the polarization direction of the first polarizer 102 is 35° to 55°, that is, the angle between the extension direction of the grain 1033 and the polarization direction of the first polarizer 102 is 35° to 55°. When the angle between the first direction X and the polarization direction of the first polarizer 102 is within the above-mentioned angle range, it can be ensured that the polarization dispersion film 103 can fully convert the polarized light incident thereon into non-polarized light.

[0078] For example, in one example, the angle between the first direction X and the polarization direction of the first polarizer 102 is 35°, 40°, 45°, 50° or 55°.

[0079] For example, Figure 4 A schematic cross-sectional structure diagram of another display substrate provided in at least one embodiment of the present disclosure is shown in FIG. Figure 4 As shown, a first adhesive 104 is arranged between the first polarizer 102 and the polarization dispersion film 103, a touch layer 107 and a cover plate 105 are arranged in sequence on the side of the polarization dispersion film 103 away from the liquid crystal display 101, and a second adhesive 106 is arranged between the touch layer 107 and the polarization dispersion film 103, and the first adhesive 104 and the second adhesive 106 are both optically transparent adhesives.

[0080] For example, Figure 4 As shown, a second polarizer 108 and a light source structure 109 are sequentially arranged on a side of the liquid crystal display 101 away from the first polarizer 102 .

[0081] For example, Figure 4 As shown, the liquid crystal display 101 includes an array substrate 1011 and a color filter substrate 1012 that are arranged opposite to each other, and a liquid crystal layer 1013 sandwiched between the array substrate 1011 and the color filter substrate 1012, and the first polarizer 102 and the color filter substrate 1012 are arranged adjacent to each other.

[0082] For example, Figure 4 The relevant characteristics of the liquid crystal display 101, the first polarizer 102, the polarization dispersion film 103, the first adhesive 104, the cover plate 105, the second adhesive 106, the touch layer 107, the second polarizer 108 and the light source structure 109 in the structure shown can be referred to the relevant description above and will not be repeated here.

[0083] The display substrate provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure has a simple structure, and the preparation process of the polarization dispersion film included in the display substrate is also simple, and the effect of converting polarized light into non-polarized light is good, so that the display substrate is easy to manufacture and has low production cost. In terms of structure, the first adhesive and the second adhesive are applied to both sides of the polarization dispersion film respectively, so as to make a double-sided adhesive with the polarization dispersion film sandwiched in the middle, which can be used for bonding.

[0084] At least one embodiment of the present disclosure further provides a display device, which includes the display substrate described in any of the above embodiments, for example, Figure 5 A block diagram of a display device provided in at least one embodiment of the present disclosure, such as Figure 5 As shown, the display device 200 includes a display substrate 100. For example, the display device 200 in the embodiment of the present disclosure can be: a display, an OLED panel, an OLED TV, an electronic paper, a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a notebook computer, a digital photo frame, a navigator, or any other product or component with a display function.

[0085] At least one embodiment of the present disclosure provides a display substrate and a display device, which have at least the following beneficial technical effects: the display substrate includes a polarization dispersion film, the material of the polarization dispersion film is a long-chain polymer material, the polarization dispersion film includes a crystalline region and a non-crystalline region, the crystalline region has strip-shaped grains, and the extension direction of the grains is a first direction. The polarization dispersion film with this structure can convert polarized light into non-polarized light, that is, into natural-like light. Converting polarized light into natural-like light can protect the eyes of the viewer, and at the same time can make the emitted light more uniform and increase the emission angle, so that the viewer's visible viewing angle becomes larger and the viewer's visual experience is better.

[0086] There are a few points to note:

[0088] (2) For the sake of clarity, in the drawings used to describe the embodiments of the present disclosure, the thickness of layers or regions is enlarged or reduced, that is, these drawings are not drawn according to the actual scale.

[0089] (3) In the absence of conflict, the embodiments of the present disclosure and the features therein may be combined with each other to obtain new embodiments.

[0090] The above description is only a specific implementation of the present disclosure, but the protection scope of the present disclosure is not limited thereto. The protection scope of the present disclosure shall be based on the protection scope of the claims.
