Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a biological information measuring device. Background Art
[0002] In recent years, it has become common for individuals to measure their own body / health-related information (hereinafter referred to as biological information) such as blood pressure values and electrocardiogram waveforms on a daily basis using measuring devices, and to effectively use the measurement results for health management. As a result, the demand for devices that emphasize portability has increased, and many portable measuring devices have been proposed, and portable devices that can measure biological information including electrocardiogram waveforms have also been proposed (see Patent Document 1).

[0007] Patent Document 1: U.S. Patent Application Publication No. 2019 / 0072912 Summary of the invention
[0008] Problems to be solved by the invention
[0009] However, if only switches are used as electrodes as in Patent Document 2, the user's measurement posture will be limited. In particular, in a device that measures both electrocardiogram and blood pressure, since the device needs to be adjusted to the height of the heart, if the position of the electrode is limited, the user's body shape may cause an unreasonable posture during contact, and the contact surface between the user's body and the electrode may be unstable, or the quality of the electrocardiogram waveform may be degraded due to the influence of myoelectricity.
[0010] In view of the above-mentioned prior art, an object of the present invention is to provide a technology for obtaining an electrocardiogram with good waveform quality.
[0011] Technical Solution
[0012] In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention is a biological information measuring device for measuring the blood pressure and electrocardiogram waveform of a person to be measured, wherein the biological information measuring device is characterized by comprising:
[0013] a blood pressure measurement control unit that controls the measurement of the blood pressure of the measurement site of the measurement subject;
[0014] A first electrode in contact with a first part of the subject;
[0015] a second electrode in contact with a second part of the subject different from the first part;
[0016] an electrocardiogram measurement control unit that controls measurement of an electrocardiogram waveform of the subject through the first electrode and the second electrode;
[0017] a main body, which includes the blood pressure measurement control unit and the electrocardiogram measurement control unit;
[0018] an instruction input unit operated by the subject to input an instruction; and
[0019] a fixing part, which fixes the main body to the measured part,
[0020] The main body has a housing including a side wall portion, the side wall portion surrounding the entire circumference of the main body from the outer circumference side when the direction facing the measured site is the axial direction,
[0021] The first electrode is configured to include the side wall portion and the instruction input portion.
[0022] In this way, when the subject makes the first portion contact the side wall portion constituting the first electrode in order to measure the electrocardiographic waveform, when the subject wants to operate the operation button through the first portion, since the first electrode is constructed to also include the operation button, the change in the contact state between the subject and the first electrode caused by the operation of the operation button can be suppressed, the contact state can be stabilized, and an electrocardiogram with good waveform quality can be obtained.
[0023] In addition, the side wall portion may be in an appropriate shape such as a square or a circle, but is not limited to these shapes.
[0024] Furthermore, in the present invention,
[0025] Alternatively, the instruction input portion may be provided independently of the side wall portion.
[0026] Thus, when the user wants to touch the side wall to measure an electrocardiogram, even if the user operates the instruction input unit provided independently of the side wall, the change in the contact state between the user's first part and the first electrode is suppressed, and the contact state is stabilized.
[0027] Furthermore, in the present invention,
[0028] The instruction input unit may be configured to include the side wall portion.
[0029] Thus, when the user wants to touch the side wall portion to measure an electrocardiogram, the user can input an instruction without changing the contact state with the side wall portion, so the contact state between the first part of the user and the first electrode is stabilized.
[0030] Furthermore, in the present invention,
[0031] The side wall portion may include a concave side wall portion that is concave toward the inner peripheral side when the direction facing the measurement site is defined as the axial direction.
[0032] Thus, due to the shape of the concave side wall portion, the first part of the user is less likely to slide relative to the concave side wall portion, so that changes in the contact state between the first part of the user and the first electrode including the concave side wall portion are suppressed, and the contact state is stabilized.
[0033] Furthermore, in the present invention,
[0034] The side wall portion may have a concavo-convex portion formed on a surface thereof.
[0035] Thus, the unevenness of the side wall makes it difficult for the first part of the user to slide relative to the side wall, so that changes in the contact state between the first part of the user and the first electrode including the side wall are suppressed, and the contact state is stabilized.
[0036] Furthermore, in the present invention,
[0037] The instruction may be an instruction to measure the blood pressure.
[0038] Thus, when the subject makes the first portion contact the side wall portion constituting the first electrode in order to measure the electrocardiogram waveform, and wants to operate the operation button through the first portion to input an instruction for blood pressure measurement, since the first electrode is constructed to also include the operation button, when the blood pressure and the electrocardiogram waveform are measured in parallel, the change in the contact state between the subject and the first electrode caused by the operation of the operation button can be suppressed, thereby stabilizing the contact state.
[0039] Effects of the Invention
[0040] According to the present invention, a technique for obtaining an electrocardiogram with good waveform quality can be provided. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0054] Hereinafter, specific embodiments of the present invention will be described based on the drawings.
[0055] <Example 1>
[0056] Hereinafter, an example of an embodiment of the present invention will be described. However, unless otherwise specified, the dimensions, materials, shapes, relative arrangements, etc. of the components described in this embodiment do not limit the scope of the present invention to these.
[0057] (Overall structure of the device)
[0058] Figure 1 and Figure 2 It is a schematic diagram showing the appearance structure of the biological information measurement device 1 of this embodiment. Figure 3 It is a functional block diagram showing the functional configuration of the biological information measurement device 1 of this embodiment.
[0059] like Figures 1 to 3 As shown, the biological information measuring device 1 generally comprises a main body 100, a cuff assembly 200 and a belt 400, and can measure blood pressure values and electrocardiogram waveforms when worn on the wrist T of a person being measured. The belt 400 has a hook-and-loop fastener 411 having a hook. A belt passage 150 is provided on the main body 100, and the belt passage 150 has a ring-shaped belt passage ring for inserting the belt 400. When the biological information measuring device 1 is worn, the belt 400 is wrapped around the wrist T, the belt 400 is inserted into the belt passage 150, and the hook-and-loop fastener 411 is attached to any position of the belt 400 (a loop for hook engagement is formed) to thereby fix the belt. In addition, the biological information measuring device 1 has an FPC (Flexible Printed Circuits) 300 (in which wiring is arranged) Figure 1 and Figure 2 ), wherein the wiring is used to electrically connect the electrocardiogram measuring unit 130 of the main body 100 with the second electrode 241 and the third electrode 242 of the cuff assembly 200. Here, the wrist T corresponds to the measured part of the present invention, and the second electrode 241 corresponds to the second electrode of the present invention. In addition, the main body 100 corresponds to the main body of the present invention, and the belt part 400, the hook and loop fastener 411 and the belt through part 150 correspond to the fixing part of the present invention.
[0060] like Figure 3 As shown in FIG. 1 , the main body 100 includes a housing 101, a power supply unit 110, a display unit 111, an operation unit 112, a blood pressure measurement unit 120, an electrocardiogram measurement unit 130, and a first electrode 140. Here, as described later, the first electrode 140 includes the entire circumference of the housing 101 of the main body 100 and operation buttons 1121a and 1122a constituting the operation unit 112. Here, the first electrode 140 corresponds to the first electrode of the present invention, and the operation buttons 1121a and 1122a correspond to the instruction input unit of the present invention.
[0061] The power supply unit 110 is configured to include a battery that supplies power required for the operation of the device. The battery may be a secondary battery such as a lithium ion battery, or a primary battery.
[0062] The display unit 111 is configured to include a display device such as a liquid crystal display, and may also include an LED (Light Emitting Diode) indicator, etc. Specifically, the operation unit 112 includes operation buttons 1121a and 1122a that are independent of the housing 101 and are arranged on the side of the housing 101 of the main body 100. The display unit 111 such as a touch panel display and the operation unit 112 may also be configured as an integrated whole.
[0063] The blood pressure measurement unit 120 is a functional unit that controls the cuff assembly unit 200 described later and measures the user's blood pressure based on the information obtained thereby, and includes a control unit 121, a calculation unit 122, a pump 123, and an exhaust valve 124. The control unit 121 and the calculation unit 122 are composed of, for example, a CPU (Central Processing Unit) and the like, and although not shown in the figure, they may also have a storage unit composed of a RAM (Random Access Memory) and the like.
[0064] The control unit 121 is a functional unit that controls the blood pressure measurement unit 120. It controls the cuff pressure of the cuff assembly unit 200 through the calculation unit 122, the pump 123, etc., and obtains information for measuring the user's blood pressure from the artery located at the wrist T on which the biological information measurement device 1 is worn. The calculation unit 122 measures the blood pressure value based on the information thus obtained. The pump 123 and the exhaust valve 124 are mechanisms responsible for supplying and exhausting air to the pressure cuff 220 and the sensing cuff 230 described later. Here, the blood pressure measurement control unit of the present invention is configured to include the control unit 121.
[0065] The electrocardiogram measurement unit 130 is a functional unit for measuring the electrocardiogram waveform of the user based on the potential difference between the first electrode 140 and the second electrode 241 in contact with the human body surface, and includes a control unit 131 and a computing unit 132. The control unit 131 and the computing unit 132 are composed of the above-mentioned CPU and the like. From the perspective of hardware, the control unit 131 and the computing unit 132 may also be a common configuration with the control unit 121 and the computing unit 122 of the blood pressure measurement unit 120. Here, the electrocardiogram measurement control unit of the present invention is configured to include the control unit 131.
[0066] It should be noted that the blood pressure measurement unit 120 and the electrocardiography measurement unit 130 both include the aforementioned CPU, RAM, etc., as well as an AD (Analogue-To-Digital) conversion circuit, an amplifier, a filter, etc., which are not shown. These are constructed using known techniques, and thus description thereof is omitted.
[0067] The cuff assembly 200 includes a clip 210, a pressure cuff 220, a sensing cuff 230, a second electrode 241, a third electrode 242, and a back plate 250. The clip 210 is a member serving as a base for holding the pressure cuff 220. Figure 4 The cuff assembly 200 is schematically shown as follows: Figure 1 2 is a cross-sectional view of the internal structure of the area surrounded by the dotted line. The cuff assembly 200 is a structure in which a pressure cuff 220, a back plate 250, and a sensing cuff 230 are stacked in sequence with a winding clip 210 as the outermost. In addition, the second electrode 241 and the third electrode 242 are connected to an FPC 300 provided with a conductor, and the FPC 300 is connected to the control unit 131 of the main body 100 (not shown), so the FPC 300 functions as a wiring that electrically connects the control unit 131 to each electrode.
[0068] The pressure cuff 220 has the following functions: it is expanded by air sent from the pump 123, thereby tightening the wrist T and applying external pressure to the artery (not shown) existing in the wrist T. In addition, the sensing cuff 230 (not shown) is a fluid bag for detecting the pressure applied to the part compressed by the pressure cuff 220. When a small amount of air enters the sensing cuff 230, the internal pressure is detected by a pressure gauge (not shown) to measure the pressure applied to the compressed part. In addition, the back plate 250 (not shown) is a flexible flat plate member arranged between the pressure cuff 220 and the sensing cuff 230, which suppresses excessive bending of the sensing cuff 230 when compressed by the pressure cuff 220, and makes the pressure distribution in the sensing cuff 230 uniform.
[0069] As described later, the second electrode 241 and the third electrode 242 are arranged near the front end 212a of the second clip part 212 which is shorter in the extension direction of the clip 210. The arrangement of the second electrode 241 and the third electrode 242 is not limited to this, and they can be arranged together with the first electrode 140 at a position that contacts the body surface of the subject and can detect the electrocardiographic waveform. The second electrode 241 functions as an electrode for measuring the electrocardiographic waveform, and the third electrode 242 functions as a GND (ground) electrode for setting a reference potential.
[0070] (Structure of the cuff assembly)
[0071] Based on the state showing the biological information measurement device 1 being worn on the wrist T of the user Figure 5, the structure of the cuff assembly 200 is described. In the present embodiment, a pressure cuff 220 is provided along the extension direction (direction around the wrist T) of the C-shaped winding clip 210. The winding clip 210 has a first winding clip portion 211 that is longer in the extension direction and a second winding clip portion 212 that is shorter in the extension direction, based on the position where the main body 100 is provided. The first winding clip portion 211 extends from the main body 100 located on the back of the wrist T in a manner covering the artery side of the wrist T. On the other hand, the second winding clip portion 212 extends to the side opposite to the first winding clip portion 211 relative to the circumferential direction of the wrist T. The pressure cuff 220 is continuously provided along the cuff 210 and also along the second cuff 212 from the vicinity of the end 211a of the first cuff portion 211 of the cuff 210, but the front end 220b of the pressure cuff 220 in the circumferential direction (the extension direction of the second cuff portion 212) is located at a position separated from the front end 212a in the extension direction of the second cuff portion 212 of the cuff 210. In addition, the second electrode 241 and the third electrode 242 are provided in the vicinity of the front end 212a of the electrode support portion 2121 of the second cuff portion 212 extending beyond the front end 220b of the pressure cuff 220. Figure 5 (B) is a diagram of the second electrode 241 and the third electrode 242 viewed from the inner side (the side in contact with the wrist T) of the electrode support 2121. The second electrode 241 and the third electrode 242 are arranged side by side in a direction perpendicular to the circumferential direction. An insulating spacer 260 is arranged between the second electrode 241 and the third electrode 242.
[0072] (Electrode structure of the main body)
[0073] Figure 6 1 is a schematic diagram for explaining the electrical connection of the first electrode 140, the switch 1121, and the switch 1122 in the main body 100. The housing 101 contains a main circuit board 160, on which a CPU and the like constituting the blood pressure measuring unit 120 and the electrocardiographic measuring unit 130 of the main body 100 are mounted. In the biological information measuring device 1, the side wall 1011 of the housing 101 containing the main body 100 is arranged from the direction N (refer to FIG. 1 ) of the main body 100 of the biological information measuring device 1 mounted on the wrist T. Figure 2 , Figure 5 (A)) is the axial direction when C is the circumferential direction (refer to Figure 2) surrounds the entire circumference of the main body 100, and the side wall 1011 is made of a conductive member and is electrically connected to the electrocardiographic measurement unit 130 via a conductive electrode connecting portion 161, so that the entire circumference of the side wall 1011 of the housing 101 functions as the first electrode 140. In this case, the frame 1012 that surrounds the display unit 111 continuously with the side wall 1011 may also be made of a conductive member, and the first electrode 140 may be configured to include the side wall 1011 and the frame 1012. In addition, an operation button 1121a of the switch 1121 and an operation button 1122a of the switch 1122 that constitute the operation unit 112 are arranged on the side wall 1011 of the housing 101. When the user operates the operation buttons 1121a and 1122a, the switches 1121 and 1122 come into contact with and separate from the switch substrate 170 via the insulating material. The switch substrate 170 is electrically connected to the control unit 121 and the like provided on the main circuit substrate 160, and inputs the signal generated by the switching of the switches 1121 and 1122. In addition, the operation buttons 1121a and 1122a are formed of a conductive member and are electrically connected to the side wall 1011. The first electrode 140 is formed to include the side wall 1011 and the operation buttons 1121a and 1122a. Figure 1 and Figure 2 In the biological information measurement device 1 shown, the main body 100 is in a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape, and the side wall 1011 surrounding the entire circumference of the main body 100 from the outer circumferential side in the circumferential direction C when the direction N of the main body 100 facing the wrist T is the axial direction is a square shape, but it may also be a cylindrical shape that is shorter in the axial direction N of the main body 100, in which case the side wall 1011 is circular. The shape of the main body 100 is not limited to these shapes, and the side wall 1011 may also be configured in an appropriate shape according to the shape of the main body 100.
[0074] Figure 7 1 is a diagram for explaining the specific structure of the side wall portion 1011 of the housing 101, the main circuit substrate 160, and the electrode connecting portion 161. Here, a conductive leaf spring 1611 is arranged between the inner surface 1011b of the side wall portion 1011 of the housing 101 and the main circuit substrate 160. The leaf spring 1611 after elastic deformation is pressed against the inner surface 1011b of the side wall portion 1011 and the main circuit substrate 160 by the restoring force, thereby establishing an electrical connection between the side wall portion 1011 of the housing 101 and the main circuit substrate 160.
[0075] Figure 8 This is a diagram for specifically explaining the electrical connection between the switch 1121 (or 1122) and the housing 101. Hereinafter, the switch 1121 will be mainly explained, but the switch 1122 is also configured in the same manner.
[0076] The switch 1121 includes an operation button 1121a that functions as a key top, a rod-shaped plunger 1121b extending from the operation button 1121a, a housing 1121c that supports the plunger 1121b, a spring 1121d, a washer 1121e, an O-ring 1121f, a washer 1121g, a touch switch 1121h, and a switch substrate 170. Here, the washer 1121g is engaged with a groove provided on the outer peripheral surface of the front end of the plunger 1121b. In addition, two O-rings 1121f attached to the outer periphery of the plunger 1121b are arranged on the front end side inside the housing 1121c. In addition, a washer 1121e is arranged on the base end side of the O-ring 1121f, and the washer 1121e supports the front end side of the spring 1121d wound on the outer periphery of the plunger 1121b. The base end side of the spring 1121d is supported by the operation button 1121a. The housing 1121c is fixed to the switch hole 101a of the housing 101. The user presses the operation button 1121a against the elastic force of the spring 1121d, and the plunger 1121b presses the touch switch 1121h. When the user releases the pressing of the operation button 1121a, the operation button 1121a is pressed back by the elastic recovery of the spring 1121d, and the plunger 1121b is separated from the touch switch 1121h. In this way, the operation button 1121a and the plunger 1121b reciprocate relative to the housing 1121c. In the biological information measurement device 1, the operation button 1121a, the plunger 1121b, the gasket 1121g and the housing 1121c are composed of conductive members. Thus, the finger F of the user touching the operation button 1121a is electrically connected to the side wall portion 1011 of the housing 101 through the plunger 1121b, the gasket 1121g, and the housing 1121c. Figure 8 In FIG. 1 , the dotted line indicates the electrical conduction path from the user's finger F to the side wall portion 1011 of the housing 101. In this way, not only the side wall portion 1011 of the housing 101 but also the operation buttons 1121a and 1122a function as the first electrode 140. Fig. 9 As shown, even when the user touches the housing 101 and touches the switch 1121 or 1122 , the contact surface between the user's finger F and the first electrode 140 can be stabilized.
[0077] (Determination of biological information)
[0078] When measuring biological information using the biological information measurement device 1 having the above-described configuration, first, the cuff assembly 200 and the belt 400 are wrapped around the wrist T in a manner such that the main body 100 faces the back of the hand. Then, after passing the belt 400 through the belt passing portion 150, the belt 400 is folded back, and the hook-and-loop fastener 411 of the belt 400 is attached to an arbitrary position of the belt 400 to attach and fix the biological information measurement device 1 to the wrist T. At this time, the sensing cuff 230 is attached in a manner such that it is located on the palm side of the wrist T.
[0079] Then, the biological information measuring device 1 is held at the height of the heart, and the hand opposite to the hand wearing the biological information measuring device 1 (at Fig.10 The finger F of the user (right hand in the figure) contacts the housing 101 and the operation button 1121a (or 1122a) is operated, thereby instructing the start of blood pressure measurement. Specifically, air is injected into the pressure cuff 220 to expand it, compressing (the artery of) the wrist T, occluding the artery and temporarily blocking the blood flow, and then the air is slowly discharged from the pressure cuff 220 to contract it and release the pressure, so that the blood flow of the artery is restored, and the pressure at this time is measured by the sensing cuff 230. That is, the blood pressure measurement using the so-called oscillometric method is performed.
[0080] Furthermore, during the above blood pressure measurement, when the wrist T is compressed by the pressure cuff 220, the second electrode 241 and the third electrode 242 are in contact with (pressed against) the surface T1 and T2 of the wrist T (see Figure 5 Therefore, the electrocardiogram waveform can be measured by the so-called I lead method based on the potential difference between the first electrode 140 and the second electrode 241 provided on the shell 101 of the main body 100 using the finger of the party not wearing the biological information measuring device 1. Here, the finger F of the party not wearing the biological information measuring device 1 corresponds to the first part of the present invention, and the surface T1 of the wrist T different from the finger F corresponds to the second part of the present invention.
[0081] The person being measured takes Fig.10In the case of the measurement posture as shown, the housing 101 surrounding the main body 100 of the biological information measurement device 1 is configured as the first electrode 140 over the entire circumference, and the first electrode 140 is configured to include operation buttons 1121a and 1122a electrically connected to the housing 101. Therefore, even when the subject operates the operation button 1121a (or 1122a) while contacting a part of the housing 101, the change in the contact state with the first electrode 140 can be suppressed, and a stable contact state can be achieved, so that the electrocardiogram waveform can be measured with high accuracy. In addition, since the degree of freedom of the position where the subject contacts the first electrode 140 is high, no unnecessary force is applied when taking the measurement posture, and noise can be reduced.
[0082] As described above, according to the biological information measurement device 1 of this embodiment, a blood pressure value and an electrocardiogram waveform can be simultaneously measured with high accuracy by using a portable device of a type worn on the wrist T.
[0083] (Variation)
[0084] Fig.11 This is a diagram for explaining a modified example of the electrical connection between the switch 1121 (or 1122 ) and the housing 101 .
[0085] The switch 1121 has the same structure as that of the first embodiment, and includes an operation button 1121a, a rod-shaped plunger 1121b extending from the operation button 1121a, a housing 1121c supporting the plunger 1121b, a spring 1121d, a gasket 1121e, an O-ring 1121f, a gasket 1121g, a touch switch 1121h, and a switch substrate 170. Here, a groove 1011c is provided at a position of the switch hole 101a of the side wall 1011 of the housing 101, which is opposite to the side surface of the operation button 1121a, and an electrode connection portion leaf spring 180 made of a conductive member is arranged. The electrode connection portion leaf spring 180 after elastic deformation is pressed against the housing 101 and the operation button 1121a by a restoring force, thereby establishing an electrical connection between the operation button 1121a and the side wall 1011 of the housing 101. Thus, the finger F of the user touching the operation button 1121a is electrically connected to the side wall portion 1011 of the housing 101 via the electrode connection portion leaf spring 180. Fig.11 In FIG. 1 , the electrical conduction path from the user's finger F to the housing 101 is indicated by a dotted line.
[0086] <Example 2>
[0087] Fig.12 This is a diagram of the living body information measurement device 2 according to the second embodiment as viewed from the front of the display unit 111. The same reference numerals are used for the same configurations as those of the living body information measurement device 1 according to the first embodiment, and detailed descriptions thereof are omitted.
[0088] The biological information measuring device 2 of the second embodiment has the same configuration as the biological information measuring device 1 of the first embodiment except for the shape of the housing 102. In the present embodiment, the first electrode 140 is also configured to include at least a side wall portion 1021 extending from at least the main body 100 of the biological information measuring device 1 worn on the wrist T in a direction N (refer to Figure 2 , Figure 5 (A)) is the axial direction when C is the circumferential direction (refer to Figure 2 ) surrounds the entire circumference of the main body 100. The housing 102 of the biological information measuring device 2 is as shown in FIG. Fig.12 As shown in (A), the side wall portion 1021a provided with the operation buttons 1121 and 1122 and the side wall portion 1021b opposite to the side wall portion 1021a are formed as curved surfaces convex inwardly at the center portion in the longitudinal direction, and the side wall portions 1021a and 1021b of the housing 102 are of a reduced diameter shape. That is, the side wall portion 1021 of the biological information measuring device 2 has the side wall portions 1021a and 1021b, and the side wall portions 1021a and 1021b are oriented in the circumferential direction C (refer to FIG. 1 ) of the main body 100 of the biological information measuring device 1 mounted on the wrist T, with the direction N opposite to the wrist T as the axial direction. Figure 2 The curved shape of the side wall portions 1021a and 1021b is not limited to Fig.12 Here, the side wall portions 1021a and 1021b correspond to the concave side wall portions of the present invention.
[0089] In this way, by setting the shell 102 of the biological information measuring device 2 so that the two side walls 1021 and 1022 have a tapered shape, when the user contacts the two side walls 1021 and 1022 of the shell 102 with the thumb F1 and index finger F2 of the right hand, the thumb F1 and index finger F2 are not easily displaced, and the contact surface between the fingers and the shell 102 and the switches 1121 and 1122 is stable.
[0090] Furthermore, by making the curvature (concave shape) of the side walls 1021 and 1022 gentle, when the user touches the side walls 1021 and 1022 with the fingers, the position touched by the fingers is not limited. When the user touches the side walls 1021 and 1022 of the housing 102 with the thumb F1 and index finger F2 of the right hand, the user can touch the side walls 1021 and 1022 of the housing 102 as shown in the figure. Fig.12 As shown in (B), the tip of the thumb F1 and the tip of the index finger F2 are in contact. Fig.12As shown in (C), the tip of the thumb F1 and the second joint of the index finger F2 are in contact. In this way, by making the side walls 1021 and 1022 bend gently, the user can have various contact methods with the housing 102. Therefore, the user is not forced to adopt an unreasonable posture such as exerting force due to the limited position of contacting the housing 102, and the electrocardiogram can be measured in a posture that does not require exerting force.
[0091] (Variation)
[0092] In the second embodiment, the side wall portions 1021a and 1021b of the housing 102 are provided with a reduced diameter, and the central portion of the side wall portions 1021a and 1021b, which respectively constitute one side of the housing 102 of a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape and surround the main body 100, is formed into a curved shape convex toward the inner circumference, but fine concave and convex portions may be formed on the entire surface of the side wall portion 1021 or a part thereof. The concave and convex portions increase the frictional resistance with the user's finger F, so that the finger F is not easy to slide relative to the first electrode 140 including the side wall portion 1021, and the contact state between the finger F and the first electrode 140 is stable. The surfaces of the operation buttons 1121a and 1122a may also be formed with fine concave and convex portions in the same manner.
[0093] As for the concave and convex parts, the concave parts and convex parts can be alternately arranged in the circumferential direction C like the bezel of a watch, or the concave parts and convex parts can be formed by roughening the surface of the side wall part 1021. The structure of the concave and convex parts can be appropriately selected.
[0094] <Example 3>
[0095] Fig.13 (A) is a diagram of the living body information measurement device 3 according to the third embodiment as viewed from the front of the display unit 111. The same reference numerals are used for the same configurations as those of the living body information measurement device 1 according to the first embodiment, and detailed descriptions thereof are omitted.
[0096] The living body information measuring device 3 of the third embodiment has the same configuration as the living body information measuring device 1 of the first embodiment except for the configuration of the first electrode 140 and the operation button. In the living body information measuring device 3 of the third embodiment, the first electrode 140 is also configured to include at least a side wall portion 1031 extending from at least the main body portion 100 of the living body information measuring device 3 mounted on the wrist T in a direction N (refer to Figure 2 , Figure 5 (A)) is the axial direction when C is the circumferential direction (refer to Figure 2 ) surrounds the entire circumference of the main body 100. The side wall 1031 included in the housing 103 functions as the first electrode 140 and also has a function as an operation button.
[0097] In the biological information measuring device 3, a side wall portion 1031 is formed to surround the display portion 111 and to form a bezel. The side wall portion 1031 is formed of a conductive member and has a function as the first electrode 140. In addition, the side wall portion 1031 also functions as an operation button, and is therefore attached to the housing body 1032 as a movable portion. For example, in Fig.13 In the biological information measuring device 3 shown in (B), the side wall portion 1031 surrounding the display portion 111 is supported so as to be reciprocating relative to the rectangular parallelepiped housing body 1032 to which the belt portion 400 is attached. By pressing the side wall portion 1031 relative to the housing body 1032 in the direction of the arrow, the side wall portion 1031 functions as an operation button. Fig.13 In the biological information measuring device 3 shown in (C), the side wall portion 1033 formed in a manner of bending from the frame portion 1012 of the display portion 111 and covering the side of the housing body 1034 is reciprocally supported on the housing body 1034 where the flange-shaped cover portion 1034a is exposed. Here, the side wall portion 1033 is also composed of a conductive member and has a function as a first electrode 140. By pressing the side wall portion 1033 in the direction of the arrow relative to the housing body 1034, the side wall portion 1033 functions as an operation button. That is, the side wall portions 1031 and 1033 are the side wall portions of the present invention, corresponding to the indication input portion provided integrally.
[0098] In this way, the side walls 1031 and 1033 also function as operation buttons, thereby eliminating the need for the user to touch a specific location to input instructions, thereby increasing the degree of freedom of the position on the side walls 1031 and 1033 that the user touches to perform electrocardiogram measurement.
[0099] The side walls 1031 and 1033 of the living body information measurement device 3 of the third embodiment may be formed into the concave shape of the second embodiment.
