Monoclonal antibody for blocking invasion of mycobacterium tuberculosis and application thereof

Abstract

This invention discloses a monoclonal antibody that blocks the invasion of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and its application, belonging to the field of biomedicine. This invention provides a hybridoma cell line, Mce3A 15G4, which can secrete a Mce3A monoclonal antibody. This antibody specifically recognizes the Mce3A protein on the surface of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, thereby blocking the binding of Mce3A to its host cell surface receptor GPR108. The Mce3A monoclonal antibody disclosed in this invention can effectively block the process of Mycobacterium tuberculosis invading host cells, thereby effectively inhibiting the establishment of infection by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and thus has potential clinical application value for the treatment or prevention of tuberculosis.
