Embodiments of the present application provide an image processing method, an electronic device and a storage medium. In the method, the electronic device obtains a to-be-processed image, and determines a target object corresponding to the to-be-processed image, to generate a first image corresponding to the target object according to the target object, and then determine a first particle corresponding to the first image according to the first image, so as to determine a second particle in the first particle, and perform image rendering on the second particle to obtain a second image, and then the electronic device can perform image processing on the to-be-processed image according to the second image to obtain a target image. In this way, the electronic device reduces the performance overhead of the system, improves the running efficiency of the system, and also improves the dynamic effect of the image, so that the dynamic effect of the image is more lively and more interesting.
