The method comprises the steps that in a payment applet, an order confirmation page of a first payment request is displayed, first order information of the first payment request is displayed on the order confirmation page, the first payment request is sent by a first merchant object, and the payment applet is used for processing payment requests of multiple different merchant objects; in response to the operation of confirming the first order information, displaying an order payment page of the first payment request; and in response to a payment operation for the first payment request, displaying a payment result page of the first payment request. According to the method, the service for processing the payment business is provided for different merchant objects by adopting the same payment applet, and an applicable applet does not need to be developed for each merchant object, so that the repeated workload is greatly reduced, and the access efficiency is improved.
