Air layer jacquard fabric and weaving process thereof

Abstract

This invention discloses an air-layer jacquard fabric and its weaving process, comprising a base fabric area and a jacquard area. The jacquard area is located within the base fabric area and includes an inner jacquard air layer and an outer edge transition area. The jacquard air layer is higher than the base fabric area. The edge transition area includes a connecting area with a mesh area. The side of the connecting area that connects to the jacquard air layer is higher than the side that connects to the base fabric area. The top of the mesh area on the front side of the fabric is sloped, and the aperture of the mesh area on the front side is smaller than the aperture of the mesh area on the back side of the fabric. This invention adds an edge transition area between the jacquard air layer and the base fabric area. The side of the connecting area that connects to the base fabric area is lower than the side that connects to the jacquard air layer, thereby eliminating the structural abruptness problem caused by direct connection between the two. The loop density on both sides of the connecting area is close to the loop density of the base fabric area and the jacquard air layer, respectively, effectively solving the problems of wrinkling, unraveling, or breaking of traditional fabrics.
