A method, apparatus, and electronic device for generating viewpoint summaries

Abstract

This application discloses a method, apparatus, and electronic device for generating opinion summaries, relating to the field of natural language processing technology. The method includes: obtaining an original document set for which a summary to be generated, and generating an initial opinion summary of the original document set; segmenting the original document set into an evidence set based on the position association category between each document in the original document set and the initial opinion summary, wherein the position association category is position divergence, position agreement, or position neutrality, and the evidence set includes at least two of the following: supporting evidence set, divergent evidence set, and neutral evidence set; and semantically expanding the initial opinion summary based on the evidence set to obtain a target opinion summary, thereby obtaining an opinion summary generation result for the original document set. This application improves the coverage and completeness of opinion summary generation.
