Life cycle assessment method, system for a waste container composting system

Abstract

The application provides a life cycle assessment method and system of a waste container type composting system, which first determines the life cycle assessment target and system boundary of the container type composting system, records various data generated by the system boundary in real time during the horizontal drum composting experiment process, calculates the life cycle inventory of a functional unit of waste in the composting system according to the data, models the container type composting system according to the calculation result, determines the emission factors involved in each composting link, carries out the life cycle assessment, evaluates using different environmental impact assessment indexes, finally calculates the proportion of the environmental impact contribution value of each link, and finds the key carbon emission process according to the contribution degree of the link. The application realizes the quantitative analysis of the carbon emission intensity, energy consumption and pollutant migration path of the composting system by constructing a whole life cycle assessment model, provides a scientific basis for optimizing the waste composting treatment process, and promotes the landing of the circular economy mode.
