A charging socket

Abstract

This invention discloses a charging socket, relating to the technical field of charging devices. It includes a bracket; a socket body fixedly mounted on the bracket for engaging with a charging plug; a movable base slidably mounted on the bracket for placing and supporting the charging plug; a drive mechanism connected to the movable base for driving the movable base to slide along a direction parallel to the socket body to move closer to or away from the socket body; a transition base slidably mounted on the bracket, the charging plug having a supporting portion, the transition base being able to abut against the side of the supporting portion facing the socket body; and a clutch mechanism disposed on the transition base. When the charging plug is inserted into the socket body, the clutch mechanism is fixedly connected to the movable base; when the charging plug is pulled out of the socket body, the clutch mechanism is disengaged from the movable base. This invention enables automatic insertion and removal of the charging plug and charging socket, facilitating the insertion and removal of the charging plug and charging socket.
