Abstract

This invention relates to a quick-drying, mildew-resistant silicone sealant and its preparation method. The quick-drying, mildew-resistant silicone sealant comprises the following components by weight: 90-100 parts of 107 silicone rubber, 20-30 parts of plasticizer, 8-15 parts of crosslinking agent, 3-5 parts of modified coupling agent, 0.2-0.6 parts of catalyst, 20-30 parts of nanofiller, 3-6 parts of mildew inhibitor, 1-3 parts of chitosan, 3-5 parts of polyvinyl alcohol, and 0.3-0.5 parts of glutaraldehyde. Compared with existing similar products, the quick-drying, mildew-resistant silicone sealant of this invention has superior surface adhesion, quick-drying (rapid solidification) performance, and superior long-lasting mildew-resistant and antibacterial properties.
