Abstract

This invention relates to the field of vehicle-mounted microphone technology and provides a microphone module and a method for maintaining the microphone module. The microphone module includes a housing, a circuit board disposed within a receiving cavity, an acoustic module connected to the circuit board and communicating with a sound hole, a sound-transparent protective component covering the sound hole, a vibration assembly arranged around the sound hole on the outside of the housing, and a control module. The control module enables the vibration assembly to transmit vibration to the sound-transparent protective component during operation, causing it to vibrate to clean adhering dust, particles, or liquid residue. The sound-transparent protective component, as the only passage between the sound hole and the outside, ensures sound wave transmission while blocking foreign objects from entering the receiving cavity and confining them to its surface or pores. The vibration assembly, arranged around the sound hole, concentrates vibration on the key area at the sound hole entrance, causing inertial shedding and removal of foreign objects, thereby actively restoring transparency, reducing acoustic channel impedance, improving sound pickup attenuation, and enhancing the reliability of the vehicle-mounted waterproof microphone.
