Abstract

This utility model discloses an abrasion-resistant knitted fabric, relating to fabric technology. The key technical points are: it includes an abrasion-resistant layer and a skin-adhesive layer. The abrasion-resistant layer has several pleats protruding away from the skin-adhesive layer. The abrasion-resistant layer and the skin-adhesive layer are connected by several deformable adhesive strips. The pleats allow the abrasion-resistant layer to swing along with other objects when they come into contact, reducing the relative friction between the abrasion-resistant layer and other objects, thereby improving the abrasion resistance of the abrasion-resistant layer. The adhesive strips serve two purposes: firstly, they maintain the shape of the pleats on the abrasion-resistant layer; secondly, when the abrasion-resistant layer comes into contact with other objects, they allow relative sliding between the abrasion-resistant layer and the skin-adhesive layer, reducing the distance of relative friction between the abrasion-resistant layer and external objects, further improving the abrasion resistance of the abrasion-resistant layer. This reduces the possibility of damage to the knitted fabric surface due to frequent friction. The structural yarn made of polyurethane fiber ensures the extensibility of the abrasion-resistant layer.
