Cast iron grill with folding stainless steel handle and non-slip coating

Abstract

The present invention relates to a cast iron grill that has a folding handle system made of stainless steel with a non-slip silicone coating, where the grill is designed for cooking flat foods such as arepas, tortillas, artisan breads and vegetables and others without limitations, the grill being fully compatible with multiple heat sources including gas stoves, electric stoves, induction stoves and direct heat sources.Thus, the grill of the present invention is mainly composed of a main body of substantially circular or oval shape that defines a flat and uniform cooking surface, and an integrated folding handle system that simultaneously solves the problems of safe thermal handling and efficient space storage inherent in conventional cast iron utensils, where said folding handle is joined to the main body at some part of its contour, while it can be folded to improve the storage of the grill or can even be detachable for cleaning or to further improve said storage.
