Description

The invention relates to a lock for a door or flap on a motor vehicle or building, having a lock housing with a rotatably mounted rotary latch and a locking bolt which is to be surrounded by the rotary latch and which, in the closed position, is partially positively surrounded by the rotary latch with its rotary latch mouth, wherein the rotary latch mouth has a local recess in the region of the support arm of the rotary latch.Motor vehicle locks or also other locks with lock holders and rotary latches are fundamentally known, wherein the lock holders are frequently configured in the form of wires and are fastened to a base plate. In motor vehicle locks in automotive construction, a locking mechanism consisting of a rotary latch and a pawl is usually used in order to lock the striker fastened on the vehicle body side. Thus, the motor vehicle lock is usually fastened to a motor vehicle door, a tailgate or another movable body part. In the closed state of such a lock, the rotary latch engages with its support arm around the locking bolt, which is in particular of bow-shaped design, or encompasses it. In this case, the rotary latch also pulls the locking bolt into the motor vehicle lock against the force of a door seal and is then itself blocked by means of the pawl in such a way that unintentional opening is ruled out. During operation of a motor vehicle, vibrations and / or distortions of vehicle body components can occur, which can possibly also lead to an increased load on the contact region between the rotary latch and the locking bolt. In particular, it is possible for relative movements to occur between the rotary latch and the locking bolt, which possibly lead to compressive stresses and / or frictional forces. Thus, in particular when dust grains are added, the so-called crayon can occur. Such noises and also the loads responsible for them are disadvantageous. To prevent these crayons, DE 10 2008 035 389 A1 proposes having the locking bolt rest against a recess, wherein a casing is no longer provided in a locally limited manner on the circumferential surface of the rotary latch in the region of this recess. In this case, a metal / metal contact surface is created, so that the desired dense contact and here with increased pressure is available. It is known from EP 1 500 762 A2 to arrange damping means in the form of protrusions at the edges of the stop surface between the rotary latch and / or the pawl for noise damping. The invention is based on the object of improving the interaction of the locking bolt and the rotary latch and in particular of configuring and arranging the contact region such that a high surface pressure is present here. The object is achieved according to the invention in that the casing has, in the region of the recess, a protrusion which exerts an additional pressing force on the contact region of the locking bolt / rotary latch. Above this predetermined, relatively large protrusion of the casing, an even higher pressing force is exerted on this connection after the locking bolt is placed on the rotary latch. This ensures that dust particles and the like cannot penetrate at least in this region as a result of the increased pressing force and the desired and necessary metal / metal contact is thus present between the locking bolt and the rotary latch without the disadvantageous crayons or the like being able to occur.According to an expedient embodiment, it is provided that the sheathing is formed so as to project around the recess on the support arm. This is intended to express that the protrusion covers the entire region of the metal-metal support in a targeted manner and ensures that disadvantageous noises cannot occur here. The protrusion leads to the higher forces already mentioned, because the casing, which consists of a suitable plastic, has to be correspondingly deformed when the locking bolt and the catch are brought together. With regard to the height of such a protrusion, the invention provides that it should have from 0.01 mm to 2 mm, preferably from 0.05 mm to 1 mm. Such a protrusion, especially as it is present all around and is virtually vertically high, leads to the higher pressings or pressing forces described, so that even during driving operation, fine-grained dust particles will not enter this region. As already mentioned further above, a metal / metal contact is to be obtained in the region of the opening of the locking bolt and the catch, wherein the invention in this respect prescribes in a concrete manner that the opening or the openings is formed and arranged so as to permit a metal / metal contact of the locking bolt and the catch, wherein this contact can also occur at the edges. The necessary contact as such can, however, be placed in a targeted manner by appropriate shaping and dimensioning of the recess as is required for the respective use.According to the present invention, the sheathing is intended to be formed so as to protrude around the recess, wherein provision is additionally made for lateral parts of the sheathing in the region of the recess to be formed in the manner of a bead which performs damping functions. Such a damping function can be additionally and specifically realized by thickness, shaping or also material selection, so that harmful impacts are absorbed when the locking bolt is introduced into the rotary latch mouth.Likewise, in order to increase the clamping forces or, more specifically, to increase the surface pressure, it is provided according to the invention that the rotary latch has a pointed shoulder below the sheathing in the region of the recess, so that a linear, more highly stressed zone is specified here, which makes the penetration into this region impossible for the harmful dust. The pointed shoulder as such is rounded in the contact region with the sheathing and the locking bolt, so that damage to the sheathing cannot occur. In order not to impair the uniform load in the entire contact area, it is provided according to the invention that the shoulder is covered only by a thin-walled part of the sheathing, while the full sheathing is present in the remaining area. Depending on the thickness of this part, the height of the additional pressure can thus still be influenced. In order to exclude the penetration of dust on both sides of the contact area, the invention provides that such a shoulder of the rotary latch is provided on both sides of the contact area of the support arm and locking bolt. This means that on both sides of the contact area such an equally high shoulder and a shoulder with the same cover are realized by the remaining sheathing, in order to thus reliably prevent the penetration of dust, especially into the area of the metal / metal support, in a targeted manner overall.According to an expedient development of the invention, the selective metal-to-metal support can also be predetermined in a selective and uniform manner in that a partial recess is provided in the casing in the region of the shoulders or all around the rotary latch mouth, said partial recess having a casing bead projecting beyond the edge of the support arm. This sheathing bead thus protrudes in a targeted manner over the metal edge or the metal surface of the support arm and ensures that noise attenuation is achieved when the locking bolt is inserted, because firstly the sheathing bead has to be loaded before the metal is placed on a metal support. This protruding plastic bead or sheathing bead prevents the so-called ticking noise when a lock is being closed. It is sufficient if the sheathing bead protrudes only slightly beyond the edge of the support arm, since actually only the first strike or only the first contact between the support arm and the locking bolt is to be sprung. The deformation of this protrusion should take place with relatively little effort, so that the desired metal is then present on metal contact.According to the invention, this small protrusion is selected such that the sheathing bead is formed so as to project by 0.1 mm to 0.2 mm, preferably 0.1 mm+0.05 mm. Even with such a small protrusion, the desired cushioning is ensured and undesirable noises are mitigated or completely prevented.According to a further expedient embodiment, provision is made that in the inlet region of the rotary latch, lamellae are provided in the casing, which are designed to remove any dirt particles that have penetrated into the contact region. These lamellae are formed in the casing, so that they initially absorb dust particles that have entered and, if necessary, also discharge them, so that the disadvantageous crayons cannot occur. The introduction of the slats thus has two effects, namely, on the one hand, that of receiving the dirt particles and intermediate mounting or also final mounting, so that these dirt particles cannot become harmfully effective and the prevention of disadvantageous impact noises. It has been found that it is expedient if the plates are designed to extend radially with respect to the rotary latch axis or slightly inclined in the direction of the contact region. This means that these dirt particles that may have penetrated collect in the lamellae or in the deepest point of the lamella and can then be transported and disposed of in a slowly rising manner. It has been pointed out further above that the pressure-secured application of the sheathing in the region of the locking bolt can be assisted by a pointed shoulder or the like being provided on the steel part in this region. The sheathing is also thinner-walled here. Here, the further development described above starts specifically by virtue of the fact that it is proposed that the lamellae are designed to cover the region with the pointed shoulder. Thus, precisely where the peak pressure is generated, the action of dirt particles is impeded or completely prevented, so that the contact region is additionally secured therewith. The described lamellae are not only provided in the actual edge region of the contact region, but it is additionally also provided that a bead of sheathing material with lamellae dividing or delimiting the contact region is provided. This also assists the tight termination of the contact region in a targeted manner, which produces the effects already described several times further above. The invention is distinguished in particular in that a lock is provided which can be used advantageously in motor vehicles in particular and which is constructed in such a way that the necessary forces between the rotary latch and the locking bolt are reliably transmitted and at the same time in such a way that harmful dust cannot penetrate into the contact region. By means of the special arrangement or formation of the sheathing in the region of the recess known per se, the necessary metal / metal contact is secured and at the same time the environment or the edge of the recess is formed in such a way that noise insulation is achieved. Finally, additional attachments are provided on the support arm or the rotary latch, which above all fulfil the task of protecting the contact area from entering dust. This ensures that no crayons can occur in this lock. The dust which may have penetrated is also rendered harmless in a targeted manner in that lamellae are introduced into the sheathing above all at the edge of the contact region, which preferably run radially to the axis of the rotary latch.Further details and advantages of the subject matter of the invention will become apparent from the following description of the associated drawing, in which a preferred exemplary embodiment with the necessary details and individual parts is shown. The following are shown: FIG. 1 is a simplified view of a lock with locking mechanism, FIG. 2 shows the core of the rotary latch, i.e. the corresponding steel part, in a perspective representation, FIG. 3 shows a perspective representation of the rotary latch with a projecting portion on the edge side, FIG. 4 shows the same view of a rotary latch, here with a sheathing bead in the contact region, FIG. 5 shows a section through the support arm with the protrusion shown in FIG. 4, FIG. 6 is a perspective view of a rotary latch with lamellae in the casing; and FIG. 7 shows the enlarged representation of the rotary latch mouth of a rotary latch with the slats shown in FIG. 6.FIG. 1 shows the lock 1 with its lock housing 2, which is integrated into a motor vehicle door 3 in such a way that the locking mechanism 4 can act optimally in order to fix the locking bolt 6 securely. This fixing is effected via the rotary latch 5, which is pivoted around the locking bolt 6 after reaching the locking position, in order then to effectively fix the motor vehicle door 3 to the chassis. After reaching the end position, the pawl 7 of the locking mechanism 4 then ensures that the rotary latch 5 is not unintentionally pivoted out of its closing position. The rotary latch mouth 8 receiving the locking bolt 6 has a casing 9, namely made of a plastic material, which has the necessary hardness and sufficient flexibility. The rotary latch 6 is incidentally pivoted about the rotary latch axis 19 into the closed position (see FIG. 1 ) and into the open position.FIG. 2 shows the actual core of a rotary latch 5, the so-called steel part 26, which steel part 26 is completely enveloped or approximately completely enveloped by the sheathing 9 in FIG. 3, wherein a pointed shoulder 15 is clearly seen in FIG. 2, which subsequently also becomes noticeable in a targeted manner in the sheathing 9 in order to close off the contact region 17 as tightly as possible against the environment.FIG. 3 shows a rotary latch 5 in a perspective illustration, wherein first of all the pointed shoulder 15 delimiting it and the second shoulder 18 are indicated here in the contact region 17. These projections 15, 18 are provided with a thin-walled part of the casing 9, wherein here the recess 10 in the casing 9 can be clearly seen. It is thus ensured here that the steel of the rotary latch 5 comes into contact with the steel of the locking bolt 6. The projection is designated by 12, i.e. a kind of bead, by means of which a particularly favorable sealing of the contact region 17 is ensured. The protrusion 12 is to be provided as far as possible on both sides of the contact region 17, wherein the second shoulder 18 is only indicated. The inlet region of the rotary latch 5 is denoted by 32, which is actually denoted as a rotary latch mouth 8, but is provided here with a separate reference sign, because lamellae are introduced into this inlet region according to a variant shown further back. The steel part 26 protrudes from the sheathing 9 at some points, but in particular just in the contact region 17.FIG. 4 is a view at first very similar to the view according to FIG. 3. Here, however, the contact region 17 is reduced to a certain extent because a sheathing bead 21 is formed or a protruding rubber surface 24. Nevertheless, it can also be seen in FIG. 4 that the recess 10 is formed continuously from the upper edge to the lower edge, while according to FIG. 5 this recess 10 is interrupted, which is illustrated by different coloring. The dark area is the protruding rubber area 24.As already mentioned, FIG. 5 shows the particular embodiment mentioned further above, according to which a recess 20 is created in the sheathing 9, in order to be able to specify a clear sheathing bead 21 in this way. This jacket bead 21 protrudes beyond the support arm edge 22 with its metal surface 23, so that when the locking bolt 6 hits the rotary latch 5, this jacket bead 21 initially becomes effective in a damping manner. Only when the corresponding pressing force is applied does the locking bolt 6, which is made of metal, come to rest on the metal surface 23, and the desired prevention of the crayon noises is achieved. At the same time, the rubber surface 24 or, more specifically, the covering bead 21 provides an advantageous noise attenuation during the closing of the motor vehicle door 3, because before contact between the rotary latch 5 and the locking bolt 6, firstly this projecting region of the covering bead 21 or the projecting rubber surface 24 must be deformed such that metal contact then occurs. This solution also thus satisfies two requirements simultaneously, since both noise attenuation is achieved and also reliable contact between the rotary latch 5 and the locking bolt 6.Finally, FIGS. 6 and 7 show a particular embodiment insofar as lamellae 28, 29 are provided in the sheathing here. The plates 28, 29 extend approximately radially with respect to the rotary latch axis 19, wherein they preferably extend slightly inclined, as can be seen in FIG. 7. This can be seen because exits 33, 34 can be seen at the lower edge, but also at the upper edge. Any dust or dust particles that may have penetrated can collect in the grooves 35 between the plates 28, 29 so that they become ineffective with regard to the development of crayons. Due to the corresponding oblique position, any dirt particles also migrate outwards and can then no longer become harmfully effective. The contact region indicated by 17 can be seen, where the metal surfaces 23, 23' come into contact with the metal surface of the locking bolt 8. In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, this contact region 17 is divided by a bead 30, which likewise again has lamellae 31 and thus also contributes to the intermediate storage or to the harmlessization of dust particles. The bead itself, as well as the lamellae 28, 29 in the inlet region 32, ensure that an increased pressure is produced here, which contributes to the desired sealing of this region. All the features mentioned, including those which can be gathered from the drawings alone, are considered to be essential to the invention alone and in combination.
