Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a side luggage carrier, preferably a double side luggage carrier, for a moped. The invention is particularly applicable to the retrofitting of luggage storage space on mopeds.
[0002] Many people use mopeds in their daily lives, often for errands, and these vehicles offer a convenient way to carry luggage. While there are already options for storing small purchases or bags on the existing rear racks, a side rack, especially a double side rack, is needed to expand luggage storage possibilities on the moped.
[0003] From DE 20 2015 008 421 U1 a double-sided luggage carrier for a moped is known, which serves as a fastening device for panniers with corresponding mounting systems and has two laterally arranged triangular support surfaces and individually adapted connecting struts and connecting elements, wherein a corresponding gap is incorporated in the upper area of the respective support surfaces.
