Abstract

Method for manufacturing an optical unit for a backlight of a display, wherein the optical unit comprises several optical films, characterized in that: - a film stack (FB) having at least two films (F) is formed with a first contour and bent (S4) at at least one edge; and - at least one further film (R) is formed (S5) with a second contour adapted to the first contour; and - the further film (R) is inserted (S6) into the bent part of the film stack (FD).
