Abstract
Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTIONThe present invention relates to a wet cleaning nozzle for suctioning and wiping a hard floor, having a base body to which at least one wiping element is fastened by at least one lateral edge and having a suction channel running in the base body and ending adjacent to this edge.PRIOR ARTA wet cleaning nozzle of the above-mentioned type is known, for example, from JP H10-248 779 A. There a nozzle is shown in which a substantially rectangular wiping element is arranged inside a base body in a likewise substantially rectangular opening of a suction channel in a displaceable manner. During a usual forward and backward movement of the nozzle, the wiping element, which in this case has contact with the hard floor to be cleaned, is pushed inside the opening of the suction channel onto the rear or front edge of the base body. DE 10 2018 116 395 A1 describes a cleaning device with a suction nozzle which can be folded away from a floor to be cleaned. DE 10 2014 116 266 A1 describes a suction nozzle with an additional cover for extending the suction air channel.Since the wiping element is displaced to the rear edge of the main body during a forward movement of the nozzle of JP H10-248 779 A, the open end of the suction channel lies between the front edge of the wiping element and the front edge of the main body. During a return movement of the nozzle, the wiping element slides against the front edge of the base body, wherein the open end of the suction channel closes between the front edge of the wiping element and the front edge of the base body and, at the same time, the open end of the suction channel opens between the rear edge of the intermediate element and the rear edge of the base body.An essential problem of the known nozzle described here is that, while it is being used, the entire floor region swept over by the nozzle can be suctioned off. Edge regions, such as are located on walls, for example, cannot be reached with the wiping element by means of a wet cleaning nozzle pushed against the wall. Since the opening of the suction channel is always present between the front edge of the wiping element and the front edge of the wet cleaning nozzle or its base body, a non-wiped strip thus remains here.In order to prevent such an unwanted unworn strip, there are wet cleaning nozzles in the prior art in which the wiping element is arranged rigidly, i.e. not displaceably, and in the process projects laterally beyond the edge of the base body. If such a wet cleaning nozzle is pushed with its side along a wall, the wiping element can work up to it and an unworn stripe is prevented. However, it has been found in practice that, for example, between or under furniture, it is not possible to guide a wet cleaning nozzle transversely along a wall in this manner. Thus, in this prior art as well, an only suctioned but not wiped edge region remains.OBJECT OF THE INVENTIONAccordingly, the object of the invention is to further develop an improved wet cleaning nozzle of the type described in detail at the beginning in such a way that the described disadvantages can be overcome. In particular, a wet cleaning nozzle is to be provided, with which only suctioned-off but not wiped edge regions are avoided.SOLUTION OF THE INVENTIONThe object set is achieved by a wet cleaning nozzle having the features of claim 1.The wet cleaning nozzle according to the invention for suctioning and wiping a hard floor, having a base body to which at least one wiping element is fastened by at least one lateral edge and having a suction channel running into the base body and ending adjacent to this edge accordingly has a section which is movable relative to the base body and in which the suction channel ends, wherein, during a movement of this section, the edge of the wiping element is exposed outwards and thereby forms the outer edge of the wet cleaning nozzle. The invention has the advantage that by moving the section in which the suction channel ends next to the edge of the wiping element, the edge of the wiping element can be brought up to a wall or the like and thus the edge region of the floor to be cleaned lying adjacent to this wall can be cleaned with the wiping element in particular in a moist manner. Manual re-wiping, which was otherwise customary hitherto, in such edge regions, for example with a moist cloth, can thus be dispensed with.PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTIONAdvantageous embodiments and refinements, which can be used individually or in combination with one another, are the subject matter of the dependent claims. The reference signs in the claims have no limiting effect, but are intended merely to improve their readability.According to the invention, the movable section in which the suction channel ends can be pushed in with respect to the base body. In this way, a space-saving construction can be achieved. In particular, with such a construction, an embodiment can be realized which also functions relatively without problems under low furniture. In an alternative example, the section in which the suction channel ends can be folded up with respect to the base body. Such a design can be designed to be very stable in terms of its design and can thus be designed to be operationally reliable.Advantageously, a spring supporting the resetting of the section can be arranged between the base body and the section. While a compression spring is preferably used for this in the case of an insertable section, a torsion spring is proposed for an alternative construction with a section which can be folded up relative to the base body. The movement which the section performs with respect to the base body automatically upon contact with an obstacle is expedient. For this purpose, in a variant with an insertable section, it can be pushed up, for example, on inclined guide rails arranged laterally of it.In an alternative variant, the movement is in turn effected by means of an actuation by a user. Here, both hand levers and foot levers are possible for the corresponding actuation. The present invention thus makes it possible, using simple structural and cost-effective means, to provide a wet cleaning nozzle with which unworn edge regions on hard floor surfaces to be cleaned are avoided. For the sake of good order, it should be pointed out here that for pure vacuum cleaner nozzles, i.e. nozzles without a wiping element, which is necessary for wet cleaning, a wide variety of designs are proposed in the prior art, with which suction of surfaces to be cleaned as close as possible to the edge is to be made possible, for example in DE 197 38 036 A1, JP H04-096 722 A or WO 2012 / 137 648 A1. All of these known vacuum cleaner nozzles disclose solutions for bringing the end of the suction channel as close as possible to the edge of the surface to be cleaned. Solutions relating to wet cleaning nozzles with a wiping element are not disclosed or suggested here.BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGSFurther advantages and features of the invention will become apparent from the following description of exemplary embodiments shown in the drawing, to which the invention is, however, not limited. The following shows: FIG. 1 shows the schematic diagram of a wet cleaning nozzle with a displaceable section for the end of a suction channel; FIG. 2 shows the schematic diagram of a wet cleaning nozzle according to FIG. 1 with the section inserted; FIG. 3 shows the schematic diagram of a wet cleaning nozzle with a section that can be folded up for the end of a suction channel, FIG. 4 shows the schematic diagram of a wet cleaning nozzle according to FIG. 3 with the section folded up.DETAILED DESCRIPTIONIn the following description of preferred embodiments of the present invention, like reference numerals designate like or comparable components.FIG. 1 shows a schematic diagram of a wet cleaning nozzle. The nozzle shown here can be essentially symmetrical in terms of construction to the center line 1, which is shown here in dashed lines. In this case, the accompanying drawings each show a half of a wet cleaning nozzle. The other half is constructed substantially mirror-symmetrically with respect to the center line 1. On the other hand, the attached drawings may also show the front region of a wet cleaning nozzle during operation. The wet cleaning nozzle has a base body 2, in which a suction channel 3 runs, and at its one end this suction channel 3 merges into a tubular connecting piece 4, via which a suction function for dry dirt and dust to be absorbed by the wet cleaning nozzle is realized.Furthermore, the wet cleaning nozzle has a wiping element 5, which in the example shown here is substantially planar and has a lateral edge 6. This wiping element 5 is to be moistened as required and is used for the wet cleaning of hard floor (not shown here).A problem with such a wet cleaning nozzle is working along a wall 7.As can be seen in FIG. 1, the suction channel 3 ends at its other end in a suction mouth 8, which is arranged adjacent laterally next to the edge 6 of the wiping element 5. This suction mouth 8 forms an underside of a section 9 which is movable with respect to the base body 2.In a typical use of a wet cleaning nozzle, the latter is brought with the laterally lying outer surface 10 to the wall 7. Between the wall 7 and the edge 6 of the wiping element 5, an edge region is formed which lies below the suction mouth 8 and which can be suctioned off via the suction mouth 8, but which is not wiped by the underside of the wiping element 5.In the example shown here, the section 9 is designed to be insertable relative to the base body 2.This makes it possible to reduce the edge region mentioned and finally to make it disappear by inserting the section 9 into the base body 2 until the outer surface 10 of the section 9 lies above the edge 6 of the wiping element 5 and this edge 6 can thus be guided as far as directly onto the wall 7.The edge 6 then forms the outer edge of the wet cleaning nozzle. This is illustrated in FIG. 2.It is thus possible to wipe with the wet cleaning nozzle shown, while avoiding an unsized edge region, directly up to the wall 7.During a subsequent movement of the wet cleaning nozzle, in which the latter is again moved away from the wall 7, the section 9 is pushed out of the base body 2 again and a suction mouth 8 is formed again, with which dry dirt located next to the wiping element 5 can be absorbed. It should be mentioned here that the insertion as well as the extraction of the section 9 into or out of the base body 2 takes place automatically when the wet cleaning nozzle hits an obstacle such as the wall 7 or also a piece of furniture etc.The pushing out of the section 9 is preferably effected by a spring, not shown here. This is arranged between the base body 2 and the section 9 and supports the mentioned return of the section 9 into its original position.FIG. 3 shows an alternative example of a wet cleaning nozzle as a schematic diagram. It can be seen that the lateral section 11 is connected there to the base body 2 via a joint 12. When the wet cleaning nozzle approaches the wall 7, in this alternative embodiment the lateral section 11 is folded up about the joint 12, as is shown in FIG. 4. The outer surface 10 of the section 11 is thus pivoted and ultimately lies over the wiping element 5, so that the latter can be brought up to the wall 7 with its edge 6, which then forms the outer edge of the wet cleaning nozzle, and a floor is thus to be wiped up to directly the wall 7.It is possible here for the section 11 to be moved via a hand lever or foot lever, not shown here.In particular, it is also possible that the pivoting back of the section 11 is also effected or supported by a spring (not shown here), which is prestressed in particular by the folding up of the section 11.The wet cleaning nozzles described here thus each permit a desired cleaning of hard floors as far as into the edge regions which directly adjoin walls, furniture, etc.The features disclosed in the above description, the claims and the drawings can be important for the realization of the invention in its various configurations both individually and in any combination.LIST OF REFERENCE CHARACTERS1 Central axis 2 Base body 3 Suction channel 4 Tubular connection piece 5 Wiping element 6 Edge 7 Wall 8 Suction mouth 9 Section 10 Outer surface 11 Section
