CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION

[0001] This application claims priority to and the benefit of Korean Patent Application No. 10-2019-0045335, filed on April 18, 2019, which is hereby incorporated by reference into this application for all purposes. BACKGROUND SUBJECT

[0002] Embodiments relate generally to electronic hydraulic braking devices and, more particularly, to electronic hydraulic braking devices capable of rapidly providing backup braking when a main braking failure occurs in an integrated or separate braking system. DISCUSSION

[0003] Generally, an electronic hydraulic brake device is used to adjust the braking pressure of each wheel using the hydraulic pressure of a master cylinder driven by a motor after a pressure applied by a driver to the pedal is sensed by a sensor. The electronic hydraulic brake device typically includes a sensor for sensing a pedal stroke so that a driver can recognize a desired braking pressure. The electronic hydraulic brake device may further include a pedal stroke simulator that enables a driver to feel the same pedal pressure as in a conventional hydraulic brake device. Therefore, when the driver steps on the brake pedal, an electronic control unit senses the stepping action and supplies hydraulic pressure to the master cylinder. The master cylinder transmits the hydraulic braking pressure to a wheel cylinder of each wheel to provide braking force to the wheel.A known electronic hydraulic brake device may not be able to quickly provide hydraulic braking pressure to the wheel cylinder when the motor is damaged, thus causing an accident. Therefore, there is a need for a device that can solve this problem.

[0004] A known electro-hydraulic brake system is described in Korean Patent Application No. 10-2007-0104982, filed on October 30, 2007, entitled "Control Apparatus for Valve in Electro-Hydraulic Brake System." [0035] Hereinafter, various embodiments of an electronic hydraulic brake device will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0036] Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of an electronic hydraulic brake device according to an embodiment.

[0037] According to Fig. 1, the electronic hydraulic brake device according to an embodiment comprises a main brake part 1 and a support brake part 2.

[0038] The main brake part 1 drives a motor to provide hydraulic braking pressure to a plurality of wheel cylinders, such as wheel cylinders 3. Hereinafter, the wheel cylinder 3 is referred to as the plurality of wheel cylinders 3. The auxiliary brake part 2 is connected to the main brake part 1 and filled with a high (or auxiliary) hydraulic braking pressure. The auxiliary brake part 2 provides hydraulic braking pressure to the plurality of wheel cylinders 3 in response to an operational failure of the main brake part 1.

[0039] According to some embodiments, in the electronic hydraulic braking device of an electric vehicle, hybrid vehicle, or autonomous vehicle, an electronic braking device may be divided into at least two parts, e.g., the main braking part 1 and the auxiliary braking part 2. When an operational failure of the main braking part 1 occurs, the high hydraulic braking pressure stored in the auxiliary braking part 2 may be quickly supplied to the wheel cylinders 3 to perform emergency braking. The operational failure of the main braking part 1 may indicate that the motor cannot be driven or may indicate an operational failure of one or more valves for controlling a hydraulic circuit.

[0040] Fig. 2 is a schematic representation of a main brake part according to an embodiment.

[0041] According to Fig. 2, the main brake part 1 according to one embodiment comprises a pedal cylinder 110, a master cylinder 120, a first hydraulic part 130, a second hydraulic part 140 and a hydraulic connection 150.

[0042] The pedal cylinder part 110 generates hydraulic pressure by pressurizing a pedal 119. Such a pedal cylinder 110 may have two chambers formed therein, and may provide a stepping force for handling the pressurization of the pedal 119.

[0043] The master cylinder 120 senses whether the pedal 119 is depressed and generates hydraulic pressure by driving a motor 129. The master cylinder 120 may form (or have) one or more chambers. The motor 129 may be driven in a forward or reverse direction depending on the pressurization state of the pedal 119. The master cylinder 120 may be connected to the pedal cylinder 110 via a cylinder line 128.

[0044] The first hydraulic part 130 is connected to the master cylinder 120 and supplies a braking pressure to some of the plurality of wheel cylinders 3. For example, the first hydraulic part 130 may supply a hydraulic pressure to first wheel cylinders 4 mounted on one of the two front wheels and one of the two rear wheels, respectively.

[0045] For example, the first hydraulic part 130 may have a first-first hydraulic line 131 connected to the master cylinder 120 for carrying a brake pressure and a first-second hydraulic line 132 connected to the first-first hydraulic line 131 and diverging from the first-first hydraulic line 131 for carrying a brake pressure to the first wheel cylinders 4.

[0046] The second hydraulic part 140 is connected to the master cylinder 120 and supplies a braking pressure to other ones of the plurality of wheel cylinders 3. For example, the second hydraulic part 140 may supply a hydraulic pressure to second wheel cylinders 5 mounted on the other one of the two front wheels and the other one of the two rear wheels, respectively.

[0047] For example, the second hydraulic part 140 may have a second-first hydraulic line 141 connected to the master cylinder 120 for carrying a brake pressure and a second-second hydraulic line 142 connected to the second-first hydraulic line 141 and diverging from the second-first hydraulic line 141 for carrying a brake pressure to the second wheel cylinders 5.

[0048] The hydraulic port 150 connects (e.g., fluidly connects) the first and second hydraulic parts 130 and 140 or disconnects, e.g., prevents hydraulic flow between the first and second hydraulic parts 130 and 140. For example, the hydraulic port 150 may connect the first-second hydraulic line 132 and the second-second hydraulic line 142.

[0049] Fig. 3 is a schematic representation of a brake system connected to the main brake part of Fig. 2 connected support brake part according to an embodiment. Fig. 4 is a schematic representation of a hydraulic pressure curve through the electronic hydraulic brake device of Fig. 3, wherein an assist accumulator is filled with a high hydraulic brake pressure, according to one embodiment. Fig. 5 is a schematic representation of a hydraulic pressure curve through the electronic hydraulic brake device of Fig. 3, wherein the high hydraulic brake pressure stored in the assist accumulator is supplied to one or more wheel cylinders, according to one embodiment.

[0050] According to Fig. 3, the assist brake part 2 comprises an assist hydraulic part 10, an assist accumulator 20, an assist bypass part 30, and an assist sensing part 40. In an operating state, the hydraulic port 150 can enable movement of the hydraulic brake pressure between the first and second hydraulic parts 130 and 140.

[0051] The support hydraulic part 10 is connected to one of the first and second hydraulic parts 130 and 140 for conducting a hydraulic brake pressure. For example, the support hydraulic part 10 can be connected to the first-second hydraulic line 132 or the second-second hydraulic line 142. For example, Fig. 3 shows the support hydraulic part 10 as connected to the first-second hydraulic line 132.

[0052] The assist accumulator 20 is connected to the assist hydraulic part 10 and can be filled with a high hydraulic brake pressure.

[0053] The assist bypass part 30 bypasses the assist hydraulic part 10 when supplying the hydraulic brake pressure to the assist accumulator 20. The assist accumulator 20 can be filled with the hydraulic brake pressure through the assist bypass part 30. The hydraulic brake pressure of the assist accumulator 20 can be supplied to the first or second hydraulic part 130 or 140 through the assist hydraulic part 10.

[0054] The assist sensing part 40 measures the hydraulic brake pressure of the assist accumulator 20. For example, the assist sensing part 40 may be configured to measure the hydraulic brake pressure in the assist hydraulic part 10 or the assist accumulator 20 (or otherwise communicate with it).

[0055] In an operating state, the motor 129 can be driven in an initial phase to fill the assist accumulator 20 with a high hydraulic brake pressure. A hydraulic brake pressure generated by the master cylinder 120 can be moved to the assist accumulator 20. At this time, the movement of the hydraulic brake pressure to the cylinder line 128 is restricted, and the movement of the hydraulic brake pressure to the first and second wheel cylinders 4 and 5 is also restricted (see Fig. 4).

[0056] When an operational failure of the main brake part 1 occurs in a state where vehicle braking is required, the high hydraulic braking pressure stored in the assist accumulator 20 is moved to the first-second hydraulic line 132 and / or the second-second hydraulic line 142 and then moved to the first wheel cylinders 4 and the second wheel cylinders 5. At this time, the movement of the hydraulic braking pressure to the first-first hydraulic line 131 and the second-first hydraulic line 141 is restricted (see Fig. 5).

[0057] When the first hydraulic line 131 and the second hydraulic line 141 are opened during vehicle braking by the auxiliary brake part 2, the hydraulic braking pressure of the wheel cylinders 3 can be released. When the hydraulic braking pressure needs to be released quickly, such as in vehicle attitude control, the hydraulic braking pressure applied to the wheel cylinders 3 can be adjusted by valve-controlled control of the first hydraulic line 132 and the second hydraulic line 142.

[0058] The assist hydraulic part 10 has an assist hydraulic line 11 and an assist hydraulic valve 12. The assist hydraulic line 11 has one end connected to one of the first and second hydraulic parts 130 and 140, and the other end connected to the assist accumulator 20 via the assist hydraulic valve 12. For example, the assist hydraulic line 11 may have one end connected to the first-second hydraulic line 132 or the second-second hydraulic line 142. As shown in Fig. 3, the assist hydraulic line 11 is connected to the first-second hydraulic line 132. The assist hydraulic valve 12 is formed on (or connected to) the assist hydraulic line 11 and opens the assist hydraulic line 11 when an operation failure of the main brake system 1 occurs.

[0059] The assist bypass part 30 includes an assist bypass line 31 and an assist bypass valve 32. The assist bypass line 31 has both ends connected to the assist hydraulic line 11 and causes hydraulic braking pressure to move to the assist accumulator 20, bypassing the assist hydraulic valve 12. The assist bypass valve 32 is formed on the assist bypass line 31 and allows the hydraulic braking pressure to move in one direction. For example, when the assist accumulator 20 needs to be filled with hydraulic braking pressure, the assist hydraulic valve 12 can close the assist hydraulic line 11, allowing the hydraulic braking pressure to move to the assist accumulator 20 through the assist bypass line 31.A check valve capable of allowing brake fluid to move in one direction may be used as the assist bypass valve 32.

[0060] Fig. 6 is a schematic representation of a brake system associated with the assist brake part of Fig. 2 added support pump according to an embodiment.

[0061] According to Fig. 6, according to one embodiment, the assist brake part 2 may further include an assist pump 50. The assist pump 50 is connected to a storage part 118, which may be connected to the pedal cylinder 110 for temporarily storing hydraulic brake pressure and forcibly transmitting the hydraulic brake pressure stored in the storage part 118 to the assist accumulator 20. Since the hydraulic brake pressure can be continuously supplied to the assist accumulator 20 via the assist pump 50, vehicle braking can be continuously performed even if an operational failure occurs in the main brake part 1, such as engine failure.

[0062] Fig. 7 is a schematic representation of a brake system connected to the main brake part of Fig. 2 connected assist braking system according to an embodiment.

[0063] According to Fig. 7, the assist brake part 2 according to one embodiment includes a first assist hydraulic part 61, a second assist hydraulic part 62, an assist accumulator 70, a first assist bypass part 81, a second assist bypass part 82, and an assist sensing part 90. In an operating state, the hydraulic port 150 restricts the movement of the hydraulic brake pressure between the first hydraulic part 130 and the second hydraulic part 140 and maintains the state in which the first and second hydraulic parts 130 and 140 are partitioned relative to the hydraulic fluid flow.

[0064] The first assist hydraulic part 61 is connected to the first hydraulic part 130 for conducting the hydraulic braking pressure, and the second assist hydraulic part 62 is connected to the second hydraulic part 140 for conducting the hydraulic braking pressure. For example, the first assist hydraulic part 61 may connect the first-second hydraulic line 132 to the assist accumulator 70, and the second assist hydraulic part 62 may connect the second-second hydraulic line 142 to the assist accumulator 70 or the first assist hydraulic part 61.

[0065] The assist accumulator 70 is connected to the first and second hydraulic parts 61 and 62 and can be filled with a high hydraulic brake pressure.

[0066] The first assist bypass part 81 bypasses a first assist hydraulic valve of the first assist hydraulic part 61 when supplying a hydraulic braking pressure to the assist accumulator 70, and the second assist bypass part 82 bypasses a second assist hydraulic valve of the second assist hydraulic part 62 when supplying a hydraulic braking pressure to the assist accumulator 70. For example, the assist accumulator 70 may be filled with a hydraulic braking pressure through at least one of the first and second assist bypass parts 81 and 82, and the hydraulic braking pressure of the assist accumulator 70 may be moved to each of the first and second assist bypass parts 81 and 82.

[0067] The assist sensing part 90 measures the hydraulic brake pressure of the assist accumulator 70. For example, the assist sensing part 90 may be configured to measure the hydraulic brake pressure in (or otherwise communicate with) the first and second assist hydraulic parts 61 and 62 and / or the assist accumulator 70.

[0068] In an operating state, the motor 129 can be driven in an initial phase to fill the assist accumulator 70 with a high hydraulic brake pressure. Then, the hydraulic brake pressure generated by the master cylinder 120 can be moved to the assist accumulator 70. At this time, the movement of the hydraulic brake pressure to the cylinder line 128 is restricted, and the movement of the hydraulic brake pressure to the first and second wheel cylinders 4 and 5 is also restricted.

[0069] When an operational failure of the main brake part 1 occurs in a state where vehicle braking is required, the high hydraulic braking pressure stored in the assist accumulator 70 is moved to the first-second hydraulic line 132 and the second-second hydraulic line 142 via the first and second assist hydraulic parts 61 and 62, respectively, and then moved to the first wheel cylinders 4 and the second wheel cylinders 5. At this time, the movement of the hydraulic braking pressure to the first-first hydraulic line 131 and the second-first hydraulic line 142 is restricted.

[0070] When the first hydraulic line 131 and the second hydraulic line 141 are opened during vehicle braking by the auxiliary brake part 2, the hydraulic braking pressure of the wheel cylinders 3 can be released. When the hydraulic braking pressure needs to be released quickly, such as in vehicle attitude control, the hydraulic braking pressure applied to the wheel cylinders 3 can be adjusted by valve-controlled control of the first hydraulic line 132 and the second hydraulic line 142.

[0071] More detailed structures of the first and second support hydraulic parts 61 and 62 may be similar to those of the support hydraulic part 10 of Fig. 3, and more detailed structures of the first and second support bypass parts 81 and 82 may be similar to those of the support bypass part 30 of Fig. 3. It is further provided that the support pump 50 of Fig. 6 at the support accumulator 70 of Fig. 7 is applied.

[0072] Fig. 8 is a schematic diagram of a main brake part according to an embodiment.

[0073] According to Fig. 8, a main brake part 1 according to an embodiment comprises a main motor pump 210, a master cylinder 220, a first hydraulic part 230 and a second hydraulic part 240.

[0074] The master cylinder 220 generates hydraulic braking pressure by operating a motor 229. The master cylinder 220 may form two chambers, and the motor 229 may be driven in a forward or reverse direction depending on the pressurization state of the pedal. In some embodiments, the pedal may be in communication with the master cylinder 220 to cause operation of the motor 229 to facilitate hydraulic fluid flow. In some embodiments, the pedal may be in communication with the motor 229 to cause operation of the master cylinder 220.

[0075] The first hydraulic part 230 is connected to the master cylinder 220 and supplies a braking pressure to some of the plurality of wheel cylinders 3. For example, the first hydraulic part 230 may supply a hydraulic pressure to the first wheel cylinders 4 mounted on one of the two front wheels and one of the two rear wheels, respectively.

[0076] The second hydraulic part 240 is connected to the master cylinder 220 and supplies a braking pressure to the other of the plurality of wheel cylinders 3. For example, the second hydraulic part 240 may supply a hydraulic pressure to the second wheel cylinders 5 mounted on the other of the two front wheels and the other of the two rear wheels, respectively.

[0077] The main motor pump 210 is connected to the first and second hydraulic parts 230 and 240 to amplify the hydraulic brake pressure.

[0078] The first hydraulic part 230 may include a first-first hydraulic line 231 connecting the master cylinder 220 to the main motor pump 210, and a first-second hydraulic line 232 connected to and diverging from the first-first hydraulic line 231 for supplying a braking pressure to the first wheel cylinders 4.

[0079] The second hydraulic part 240 may include a second-first hydraulic line 241 connecting the master cylinder 220 to the main motor pump 210, and a second-second hydraulic line 242 connected to the second-first hydraulic line 241 and diverging from the second-first hydraulic line 241 for supplying a braking pressure to the second wheel cylinders 5.

[0080] Fig. 9 is a schematic representation of a brake system connected to the main brake part of Fig. 8 connected support brake part according to an embodiment. Fig. 10 is a schematic representation of a hydraulic pressure curve through the electronic hydraulic brake device of Fig. 9, wherein an assist accumulator is filled with a high hydraulic brake pressure, according to one embodiment. Fig. 11 is a schematic representation of a hydraulic pressure curve through the electronic hydraulic brake device of Fig. 9, wherein a high hydraulic brake pressure stored in an assist accumulator is supplied to one or more wheel cylinders, according to one embodiment.

[0081] According to Fig. 9, the assist brake part 2 has an assist hydraulic part 10, an assist accumulator 20, an assist bypass part 30 and an assist sensing part 40.

[0082] The assist hydraulic part 10 is connected to the first and second hydraulic parts 230 and 240 for conducting a hydraulic brake pressure. For example, the assist hydraulic part 10 may be connected to the first-second hydraulic line 232 and the second-second hydraulic line 242.

[0083] The assist accumulator 20 may be connected to the assist hydraulic part 10 and filled with a high hydraulic brake pressure.

[0084] The assist bypass part 30 bypasses an assist hydraulic valve 12 of the assist hydraulic part 10 when supplying the hydraulic braking pressure to the assist accumulator 20. For example, the assist accumulator 20 may be filled with the hydraulic braking pressure through the assist bypass part 30, and the hydraulic braking pressure of the assist accumulator 20 may be supplied to the first or second hydraulic part 230 or 240 through the assist hydraulic part 10.

[0085] The assist sensing part 40 measures the hydraulic brake pressure of the assist accumulator 20. For example, the assist sensing part 40 may be configured to measure the hydraulic brake pressure in (or connected to) at least one of the assist hydraulic part 10 and the assist accumulator 20.

[0086] In an operating state, the motor 229 and the main motor pump 210 can be driven in an initial phase to fill the assist accumulator 20 with a high hydraulic braking pressure. Then, the hydraulic braking pressure generated by the master cylinder 220 is moved to the main motor pump 210 through the first-first hydraulic line 231 and the second-first hydraulic line 241, and the hydraulic braking pressure that has passed through the main motor pump 210 is moved to the assist accumulator 20 through the assist hydraulic part 10 connected to the first-second hydraulic line 232 and the second-second hydraulic line 242. At this time, the movement of the hydraulic braking pressure from the main motor pump 210 to the master cylinder 220 is restricted, and the movement of the hydraulic braking pressure to the first and second wheel cylinders 4 and 5 is restricted (see Fig. 10).

[0087] When an operation failure of the main brake part 1 occurs in the case where vehicle braking is required, the high hydraulic braking pressure stored in the assist accumulator 20 is moved to the first-second hydraulic line 232 and the second-second hydraulic line 242 and then moved to the first wheel cylinders 4 and the second wheel cylinders 5. At this time, the movement of the hydraulic braking pressure to the first-first hydraulic line 231 and the second-first hydraulic line 242 is restricted (see Fig. 11).

[0088] When the first hydraulic line 231 and the second hydraulic line 241 are opened during vehicle braking by the auxiliary brake part 2, the hydraulic braking pressure of the wheel cylinders 3 can be released. When the hydraulic braking pressure needs to be released quickly, such as in vehicle attitude control, the hydraulic braking pressure applied to the wheel cylinders 3 can be adjusted by valve-controlled control of the first hydraulic line 232 and the second hydraulic line 242.

[0089] The assist hydraulic part 10 includes an assist hydraulic line 11 and an assist hydraulic valve 12. One end of the assist hydraulic line 11 is connected to the first and second hydraulic parts 230 and 240, and the other end of the assist hydraulic line 11 is connected to the assist accumulator 20 via the assist hydraulic valve 12. For example, the assist hydraulic line 11 may have one end connected to the first-second hydraulic line 232 and the second-second hydraulic line 242. The assist hydraulic valve 12 is formed on (or connected to) the assist hydraulic line 11 and opens the assist hydraulic line 11 when an operational failure of the main brake system 1 occurs.

[0090] The assist bypass part 30 includes an assist bypass line 31 and an assist bypass valve 32. The assist bypass line 31 has both ends connected to the assist hydraulic line 11, and causes braking hydraulic pressure to bypass the assist hydraulic valve 12 and move to the assist accumulator 20. The assist bypass valve 32 is formed on (or connected to) the assist bypass line 31 and allows the braking hydraulic pressure to move in one direction. For example, when the assist accumulator 20 is filled with braking hydraulic pressure, the assist hydraulic valve 12 can close the assist hydraulic line 11, allowing the braking hydraulic pressure to move through the assist bypass line 31.In this case, a check valve capable of allowing a brake fluid to move in one direction may be used as the assist bypass valve 32.

[0091] Fig. 12 is a schematic representation of a brake system associated with the assist brake part of Fig. 9 added support pump according to an embodiment.

[0092] According to Fig. 12, according to one embodiment, the assist brake part 2 may further include an assist pump 50. The assist pump 50 is connected to a storage part 228, which may be connected to the master cylinder 220 for temporarily storing hydraulic braking pressure and forcibly transmitting the hydraulic braking pressure stored in the storage part 228 to the assist accumulator 20. Since the hydraulic braking pressure can be continuously supplied to the assist accumulator 20 via the assist pump 50, vehicle braking can be continuously performed even if an operational failure occurs in the main brake part 1, such as damage to the motor 229.

[0093] Fig. 13 is a schematic representation of a brake system connected to the main brake part of Fig. 8 connected assist braking system according to an embodiment.

[0094] According to Fig. 13, the assist brake system 2 includes a first assist hydraulic part 61, a second assist hydraulic part 62, an assist accumulator 70, a first assist bypass part 81, a second assist bypass part 82, and an assist sensing part 90.

[0095] The first assist hydraulic part 61 is connected to the first hydraulic part 230 for conducting a hydraulic braking pressure, and the second assist hydraulic part 62 is connected to the second hydraulic part 240 for conducting a hydraulic braking pressure. For example, the first hydraulic part 61 may connect the first-second hydraulic line 232 to the assist accumulator 70, and the second assist part 62 may connect the second-second hydraulic line 242 to the assist accumulator 70 or the first hydraulic part 61.

[0096] The assist accumulator 70 may be connected to the first and second assist hydraulic parts 61 and 62 and may be filled with a high hydraulic brake pressure.

[0097] The first assist bypass part 81 bypasses a first assist hydraulic valve of the first assist hydraulic part 61 when supplying a hydraulic braking pressure to the assist accumulator 70, and the second assist bypass part 82 bypasses a second assist hydraulic valve of the second assist hydraulic part 62 when supplying a hydraulic braking pressure to the assist accumulator 70.

[0098] The assist sensing part 90 measures the hydraulic braking pressure of the assist accumulator 70. For example, the assist sensing part 90 may be configured to measure the hydraulic braking pressure in at least one of the first and second assist hydraulic parts 61 and 62 or the assist accumulator 70 (or otherwise connected thereto).

[0099] In an operating state, the motor 229 can be driven in an initial phase to fill the assist accumulator 70 with a high hydraulic braking pressure. Then, the hydraulic braking pressure generated by the master cylinder 220 can be moved to the assist accumulator 70. At this time, the movement of the hydraulic braking pressure from the main motor pump 210 to the master cylinder 220 is restricted, and the movement of the hydraulic braking pressure to the first and second wheel cylinders 4 and 5 is also restricted.

[0100] When an operational failure of the main brake part 1 occurs in a case where vehicle braking is required, the high hydraulic braking pressure stored in the assist accumulator 70 is moved to the first-second hydraulic line 232 and the second-second hydraulic line 242, and then moved to the first wheel cylinders 4 and the second wheel cylinders 5. At this time, the movement of the hydraulic braking pressure to the first-first hydraulic line 231 and the second-first hydraulic line 242 is restricted.

[0101] When the first hydraulic line 231 and the second hydraulic line 241 are opened during vehicle braking by the auxiliary brake part 2, the hydraulic braking pressure of the wheel cylinders 3 can be released. When the hydraulic braking pressure needs to be released quickly, such as in vehicle attitude control, the hydraulic braking pressure applied to the wheel cylinders 3 can be adjusted by valve-controlled control of the first hydraulic line 232 and the second hydraulic line 242.

[0102] More detailed structures of the first and second support hydraulic parts 61 and 62 may be similar to those of the support hydraulic part 10 of Fig. 3, and the detailed structures of the first and second support bypass parts 81 and 82 may be the same as those of the support bypass part 30 of Fig. 3. It is intended that the support pump 50 of Fig. 12 at the support accumulator 70 of Fig. 13 is applied.

[0103] In an electronic hydraulic brake device according to various embodiments, the main brake part 1 and the auxiliary brake part 2 may be connected as a hydraulic pressure circuit for moving a hydraulic braking pressure, and a high hydraulic braking pressure stored in the auxiliary brake part 2 may be moved to the main brake part 1 and supplied to the wheel cylinders 3 in response to an operational failure of the main brake part 1. Furthermore, the auxiliary pump 50 may be used to forcibly move brake fluid stored in the storage part 118 or 228 to the auxiliary accumulator 50. Thus, when an operational failure of the main brake part 1 occurs, an auxiliary hydraulic pressure for performing vehicle braking can be continuously supplied to the auxiliary accumulator 20.

[0104] Although specific embodiments and implementations have been described herein, other embodiments and modifications will be apparent from the description. Thus, the concepts of the invention are not limited to such embodiments, but rather, are intended to encompass the broader scope of the appended claims and various obvious modifications and equivalent arrangements apparent to one of ordinary skill in the art.
