Abstract

The invention relates to a method for painting at least one component surface (10) of a component (12) comprising the following steps: (A) coating at least one surrounding surface (16, 16') in the vicinity of the component surface (10) to be protected from contact with overspray (14) with at least one protective layer, (B) painting the component surface (10), and (C) removing the protective layer.
