Abstract

The invention relates to a control unit for an opening element of a building, comprising: a communication device (19) designed to communicate with at least one signaling device (23, 25, 27), in particular to communicate wirelessly; and an energy storage device (14) designed to store and release energy to close the opening element (11).The control unit is characterized in that a detection device (20) is provided and designed to directly or indirectly detect a current state of the energy storage device (14) and to classify it into at least one of the following states: an unstressed state, a stressed state, an energy absorption state and an energy output state, and the communication device (19) is designed to generate and transmit a first message when the detection device (20) detects an unstressed state or an energy output state, and to generate and transmit a second message, which differs from the first message, when the detection device (20) detects a stressed state or an energy absorption state.The invention further relates to a signaling device for a control unit according to the invention, a control system, a method for controlling a signaling device and a method for controlling a control unit.
