Abstract

A display device (1) is disclosed, comprising a substrate (201) having a display area (AA) and a non-display area (NAA) outside the display area (AA), wherein the non-display area (NAA) has a connection area (LKA) and a bendable area (BDA), a plurality of signal connection lines (DLL, TSL) in the connection area (LKA) of the substrate (201), the connection area (LKA) being located between the display area (AA) and the bendable area (BDA), a plurality of connection lines (CNL) each electrically connected to the plurality of signal connection lines (DLL, TSL) in the connection area (LKA) and extending to the bendable area (BDA), an organic insulating layer (290) over and spaced apart from the plurality of connection lines (CNL), an optical layer (295) over the organic insulating layer (290) in the connection area (LKA), and a bend protection layer (300).which is in contact with an end of the optical layer (295) in the connection area (LKA) and extends to the flexible area (BDA), wherein the organic insulating layer (290) has a discontinuous area in the connection area (LKA).
