The present invention relates to tickets, and in particular to admission tickets, airline, train, ship or bus tickets, gambling receipts, parking tickets, cash register receipts, bank statements, medical chart paper, fax paper, security paper or barcode labels. The present invention relates in particular to an article comprising a heat-sensitive recording layer, comprising one or more specified color developers, one or more dye precursors and one or more specified sensitizers, wherein the article is an admission ticket, an airline, train, ship or bus ticket, a gambling receipt, parking ticket, cash register receipt, bank statements, medical chart paper, fax paper, security paper or barcode label. The present invention further relates to a method for manufacturing an article comprising a heat-sensitive recording layer.The present invention further relates to more specifically described uses of a compound according to a more specifically described formula in combination with a more specifically described sensitizer. The present invention further relates to the use of a heat-sensitive recording layer as further described in more detail as an admission ticket, a plane, train, ship or bus ticket, a gambling receipt, parking ticket, cash register receipt, bank statement, medical chart paper, fax paper, security paper or barcode label.
