Description

TECHNICAL FIELDThe present invention relates to a cuff of a blood pressure information measurement device used by being attached to a location to be measured when measuring blood pressure information such as a blood pressure value, and a blood pressure information measurement device equipped therewith.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONIt is very important to acquire the blood pressure information from a person for knowing the health state of the person. In recent years, attempts have been made to detect the heart load and the change in hardness of the artery by detecting the pulse wave of the subject, and it has not been limited to detecting a systolic blood pressure value (maximum blood pressure value), a diastolic blood pressure value (minimum blood pressure value), and the like, and its usability is widely recognized as a representative health management index in the related art. The blood pressure information measurement device is a device for obtaining a health management score based on the acquired blood pressure information, and further, application in the field of early detection and prevention, treatment, or the like of diseases of the circulatory system is expected. The above-described blood pressure information largely includes various circulatory system information such as a systolic blood pressure value, a diastolic blood pressure value, a mean blood pressure value, a pulse wave, a pulse, and an AI (augmentation index) value.A cuff for a blood pressure information measurement device (hereinafter also referred to simply as a cuff) including a fluid bladder is generally used for measuring the blood pressure information. The cuff refers to a band-shaped structure having an inside cavity that can be wound around a part of a living body, and is used for measuring blood pressure information by inputting a fluid such as a gas or a liquid into the inside cavity or discharging the fluid from the inside cavity to expand or contract the fluid bubble. In the blood pressure information measurement device (hereinafter also referred to simply as a blood pressure measurement device) for measuring the blood pressure value such as the systolic blood pressure value and the diastolic blood pressure value, for example, the measurement of the blood pressure value is performed by winding the cuff including the fluid bladder for compressing the artery around a body surface of the living body, and by expanding and contracting the fluid bladder wound to detect the pressure pulse wave of the artery as a change in the internal pressure of the fluid bladder. In particular, the cuff used by being wound around the arm is also called an bracelet or a cuff. The cuff is normally formed mainly by an air bladder serving as a fluid bladder and a band-shaped outer panel containing the air bladder and having a surface covering closure on the surface. The widely used cuff has a conventionally annular shape as long as it is arranged into an annular ring at one end in a longitudinal direction of the outer liner and the other end of the longitudinal direction of the outer liner is inserted and folded back, and blood pressure information can be measured by inserting the site to be measured into such an annular portion of the outer liner so that the cuff is wound around the site to be measured, and fixing the outer liner and fixing it using the surface covering shutter so that the air bladder is wound and fixed to the site to be measured (see, for example, FIG. 2 of Japanese Utility Model Unexamined Publication No. JP S63-56 003 U (Patent Document 1)).However, in the cuff described above, the reliable winding need not necessarily be reproduced because the winding task is in the hand of the subject. If the reliable winding is not reproduced, a change occurs in the measurement value, and it becomes difficult to accurately and stably measure the blood pressure information.A cuff having various configurations has been proposed so that the cuff can be reliably wound around the site to be measured with sufficient reproducibility. For example, Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. JP 2002-209 858 A (Patent Document 2) discloses a cuff having a configuration in which a core material made of a curved elastic plate called a curler is accommodated inside in addition to the air bladder serving as the fluid bladder. In the cuff having such a curler, the air bladder is pressed against the site to be measured with an appropriate pressing force and fastened by the curler after fastening, and thus the reliable fastening of the air bladder with respect to the site to be measured can be reproduced. However, the cuff including the curler has a problem in that the winding task becomes troublesome. This is because the cuff is formed of a part having rigidity of a certain extent, and thus handling becomes difficult, pushing out the curler and placing it at the site to be measured when fastening the cuff become cumbersome. In order to further facilitate the fastening of the cuff including the curler, Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. JP 2006-68 318 A (Patent Document 3) discloses a configuration of a cuff that enables attachment and detachment to the site to be measured by a handle operation. In the cuff disclosed in Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. JP 2006-68 318 A, an elastic member such as a biasing spring or a power transmission mechanism such as a slider is contained inside the cuff so that the cuff can be fixed to the site to be measured with sufficient reproducibility at an optimum tightening force by the biasing force of the biasing spring, and the radial size of the curler can be changed in conjunction with the operation of the user, and the cuff can be fixed or detached by a handle operation.Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. JP 2007-268 052 A (Patent Document 4) describes a configuration in which a second core for bending a first core is contained inside a cuff in an overlapping manner by being fastened to the outside of the plate-like first core (curler), and a fastening mechanism similar to that of a ratchet mechanism is disposed in the second core so that the diameter of the second core does not increase at the time of the fastening operation, and the radial size of the second core can be changed in conjunction with the operation of the user, whereby the fastening or removal of the cuff can be enabled by a handle operation.Further, Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. JP 2007-75 294 A (Patent Document 5) and International Laid-Open Patent Publication WO 03 / 101 290 A2 (Patent Document 6) disclose a cuff in which a winding device including a biasing spring and a winding roller are contained inside the cuff, and an end of a band-shaped belt member fixed with an air bladder is wound by the winding device, so that the cuff is fixed to the location to be measured with sufficient reproducibility at an optimum tightening force by the biasing force of the biasing spring. In the case of the cuff having this configuration, the task of connecting the engagement portion while maintaining a state in which the band-shaped belt member is placed at the position to be measured in tightening in which the operation needs to be performed with two hands is required because the operation with only one hand becomes difficult. Therefore, when the above-described configuration is adopted in a home blood pressure monitor in which the subject(in) itself needs to wrap the cuff around an arm, there arises a problem that the fastening of the cuff itself cannot be easily performed alone. In the method disclosed in Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. JP 2006-68 318 A and Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. JP 2007-268 052 A, the cuff has an annular shape in an unfixed state, and thus the cuff can be fixed and detached with a single-hand operation by inserting the site to be measured into a hollow opening, but the radial size of the cuff including the curler cannot be made variable without limitation due to the device configurations, and the circumferential length of the site to be measured to which the cuff can be applied is limited, the device configuration becomes complex, and the manufacturing cost significantly increases. In the light of solving the above-described problems, it is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a cuff of a blood pressure information measurement device which has a simple configuration and can be manufactured at low cost, and in which the attachment with respect to the site to be measured can be easily performed and the attachment with respect to the site to be measured can be reproduced securely, and a blood pressure information measurement device equipped with the same.MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEMA cuff of a blood pressure information measurement apparatus based on the present invention includes a fluid bladder, an exterior trim, and a fastening mechanism. The flow of the processes of the blood pressure monitor in the present embodiment will now be described with reference to FIG. 3. The program according to the flowchart is previously stored in the storage unit 12, where the processes are executed when the control unit 11 reads out the program from the storage unit 12 and executes the same. When the blood pressure value is measured, the person previously attaches the cuff 20A to the upper arm, and in this state operates the operation unit 14 disposed on the main body 10 to turn ON the electric power of the blood pressure monitor 1. the electric power serving as the power supply is thus supplied from the power supply unit 15 to the control unit 11, and thus drives the control unit 11. As illustrated in FIG. 3, the control unit 11 first performs initialization of the blood pressure monitor after being driven (step S 101).The control unit 11 then waits for an instruction from the person to start measurement, and when the instruction to start measurement from the person is made by operating the operation unit 14, the control unit 11 closes the outlet valve 18 and starts driving the pressurizing pump 17 to increase the cuff pressure in the air bladder 34 (step S 102). When the cuff pressure reaches a predetermined level for measuring the blood pressure value in the process of pressurizing the air bladder 34, the control unit 11 stops the pressurizing pump 17, gradually opens the closed exhaust valve 18 to gradually exhaust the air in the air bladder 34, and gradually releases the cuff pressure (step S 103). In the blood pressure monitor 1 according to the present embodiment, the blood pressure value is measured at a micro-rate of cuff pressure in the pressure relief process. The control unit 11 then calculates the blood pressure value, such as the systolic blood pressure value and the diastolic blood pressure value, by using a known procedure (step S 104). Specifically, the control unit 11 extracts the pulse wave information based on the oscillation frequency obtained from the oscillation circuit 19 ain the process of gradually depressurizing the cuff pressure of the air bladder 34. After the blood pressure value is calculated in step S 104, the control unit 11 displays the blood pressure value serving as the measurement result on the display unit 13 (step S 105) and stores the relevant blood pressure value in the storage unit 12.Subsequently, the control unit 11 exhausts the air in the air bladder 34 completely by opening the air bladder 34 (step S 106), and waits for an instruction of the person to turn OFF the electric power to end the operation. The above-described measurement method is based on the so-called pressure release measurement method for detecting the pulse wave at the time of releasing the pressure of the air bladder 34, but the so-called pressurization measurement method for detecting the pulse wave at the time of pressurizing the air bladder 34 may be naturally applied.FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view showing a detailed structure of a cuff for a blood pressure monitor according to the present embodiment, and FIGS. 5A, 5B, 6A, and 6B are views describing the configuration and operation of a fastening mechanism disposed in the cuff for a blood pressure monitor. FIGS. 5A and 5B are a schematic perspective view and a schematic side view showing a state where the exterior trim is fastened by the fastening mechanism, and FIGS. 6A and 6B are a schematic perspective view and a schematic side view showing a state where the fastening of the exterior trim is released by the fastening mechanism. The material of the synthetic resin sheet constituting the air bladder 34 may be any material as long as it is excellent in extensibility and no air leaks from the expansion and contraction space after welding. From this point of view, the suitable material of the synthetic resin sheet is ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA), flexible polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyurethane (PU), natural rubber (NR), or the like. The outer panel 30 is formed as a bag-shaped band member by overlapping an inside cover 31 to be brought into contact with the surface of the upper arm in the attached state and an outside cover 32 to be disposed on the outer side as the inside cover 31 in the attached state, and joining (for example, sewing, welding, etc.) their peripheral edges, and includes one end 30 aand the other end 30 bin the longitudinal direction. The outer panel 30 includes the air bladder 34. a member sufficiently characterized by extensibility is suitably used for the inside cover 31 of the outer panel 30, so that the compressive force applied to the upper arm by the extension of the air bladder 34 is not hindered by the inside cover 31. On the other hand, a member having poor elongation as compared with the inside cover 31 is used for the outside cover 32. From this point of view, a fabric cloth made of a synthetic fiber including polyamide (PA) and polyester, in which the magnitude of extensibility can be relatively easily adjusted, can be used for the exterior trim 30.The annular ring 36 is fixed to the one end 30 aof the outer liner 30. More specifically, the portion closer to the other end 30 bof the outer panel 30 is inserted into the pull tab 38 and then folded back and sewn, so that the pull tab 38 is fixed to the other end 30 bof the outer panel 30. The pull tab 38 is formed by, for example, injection molding a synthetic resin as the raw material, and includes a grip that can be gripped by the hand.As illustrated in FIGS. 4, 5A, 5B, 6A, and 6B, the fastening unit 40 is disposed at a predetermined location on the outer surface of the exterior panel 30. The fastening unit 40 mainly includes a housing 41 fastened to the exterior trim 30, a support frame 42 disposed inside the housing 41, a roller 44 supported by the support frame 42, a stopper 46 and a driving roller 47, and a coil spring 45 serving as a slide mechanism assembled to the roller 44 and the stopper 46.The housing 41 is made of a box-shaped member extending along the axial direction of the collar 20A, and includes openings 41 a, 41 binto which the portion closer to the other end 30 bof the outer liner 30 is inserted. The support frame 42 is formed by, for example, forming the both ends of a planar metal plate member, and is fixed to the housing 41 while being accommodated inside the housing 41. The support frame 42 includes a pair of side walls 42 aat both ends in the longitudinal direction (direction along the axial direction of the cuff 20A).The roller 44 is disposed inside the housing 41 so as to extend along the longitudinal direction of the collar 20A, and is rotatably supported by the pair of side walls 42 aof the support frame 42. More specifically, each of the pair of side walls 42 aof the support frame 42 includes a shaft support hole 42 a 1 having a perfect circular shape, and a shaft 44 aof the roller 44 is inserted into the shaft support hole 42 a 1 so that the roller 44 is rotatably supported by the support frame 42.A clutch plate 44b is disposed at a predetermined position near both ends of the roller 44, respectively, each clutch plate 44b being fixed to the shaft 44a of the roller 44. The clutch plate 44 band the clutch pin 43 serve as a so-called one-way clutch, and the roller 44 can rotate in a predetermined direction only when the clutch pin 43 meshes with the clutch plate 44 b.A surface 44 cof the roller 44 is preferably covered by a rubber material. The material of the rubber material preferably generates a large frictional force with the outer trim 30 in a state of being pulled by the outer trim 30, and a rubber such as styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) or butadiene rubber (BR), ethylene-propylene-diene rubber (EPDM), chloroprene rubber (CR), acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR), a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), urethane rubber (U), and silicone rubber (Q) can be suitably used. The stopper 46 is disposed in the housing 41 so as to extend along the axial direction of the collar 20A, and is movably and rotatably supported by the pair of side walls 42 aof the support frame 42. More specifically, each of the pair of side walls 42 ahas an oval shaft support hole 42 a 2, and a shaft 46 aof the stopper 46 is inserted into the shaft support hole 42 a 2, so that the roller 44 is movably and rotatably supported by the support frame 42. The stopper 46 in which the surface 46 cis covered with a rubber material similar to the above-described roller 44 is preferably used, but is not limited thereto, and may be formed by a member made of metal or a synthetic resin. The shaft support hole 42 a 2 is formed such that the stopper 46 is movable between a position near the roller 44 and a position away from the roller 44 such that the stopper 46 can assume a state (state as illustrated in FIGS. 5A and 5B ) in which it is attached to a position near the roller 44 and a state (state as illustrated in FIGS. 6A and 6B ) in which it is attached to a position away from the roller 44.The drive roller 47 is disposed in the housing 41 so as to extend along the axial direction of the collar 20A, and is rotatably supported by the pair of side walls 42 aof the support frame 42. More specifically, each of the pair of side walls 42 aof the support frame 42 includes a shaft support hole 42 a 3 having a perfect circular shape, and a shaft 47 aof the drive shaft 47 is inserted into the shaft support hole 42 a 3 so that the drive roller 47 is rotatably supported by the support frame 42. The driving roller 47 having a smooth surface is preferably used, but may be constituted by, for example, a member made of a metal or a synthetic resin. As illustrated in FIGS. 5B and 6B, the roller 44 and the stopper 46 are assembled with a coil spring 45 (not illustrated in FIGS. 5A and 6B ). The coil spring 45 biases the stopper 46 toward the roller 44, one end being fixed to the shaft 44 aof the roller 44 and the other end being fixed to the shaft 46 aof the stopper 46. The stopper 46 thus assumes a state (for example, a state as shown in FIGS. 5A and 5B ) in which it is attached at a position near the roller 44, among the two states described above, with no external forces applied. As illustrated in FIG. 4, in the cuff 20A according to the present embodiment, the other end 30 bof the outer panel 30 remains in an annular shape by being inserted into the entry hole of the annular ring 36 fixed to the one end 30 aof the outer panel 30, and the portion closer to the other end 30 bof the outer panel 30 is folded back with the annular ring 36 as the base point along the circumferential direction of the annular portion of the outer panel 30 and then overlapped on the annular portion. For this reason, the portion closer to the other end 30 bof the outer panel 30, which is folded back together with the annular ring 36 than the base point and overlapped at the annular portion, corresponds to the overlapped portion. The portion closer to another end 30 bof the outer panel 30 which is folded back is pulled out to the outside of the fixing unit 40 by the fixing unit 40 fixed to the annular portion of the outer panel 30. The pull tab 38 is fixed to the distal end of the outer panel 30 at the portion that is pulled out from the fixing unit 40.The folded-back portion (for example, the overlapping portion) of the outer panel 30 is inserted into the openings 41 a, 41 bformed in the housing 41 of the fastening unit 40, and brought into contact with the driving roller 47 on the inner side of the housing 41 of the fastening unit 40, and also inserted between the roller 44 and the stopper 46.As illustrated in FIGS. 5A and 5B, in a state where the stopper 46 is disposed at a position near the roller 44, the folded-back portion of the outer panel 30 is pressed against the roller 44 by the stopper 46, so that a large frictional force is generated between the surface of the outer panel 30 and the surface 44 cof the roller 44, and the folded-back portion of the outer panel 30 is fixed to the annular portion of the outer panel 30 by the fastening unit 40. Since the rotational direction of the roller 44 is determined as soon as the clutch disk 44b and the clutch pin 43 are meshed with each other, the folded-back portion of the outer panel 30 can move in the direction of the arrow A in the figure, but it cannot move in the direction of the arrow B in the figure. In this way, the action can be performed so that the size of the annular portion of the cuff 20A becomes smaller, but the action cannot be performed so that the size of the annular portion of the cuff 20A becomes larger. On the other hand, as illustrated in FIGS. 6A and 6B, in a state where the stopper 46 is disposed at a position away from the roller 44, the folded-back portion of the outer panel 30 is not pressed against the roller 44 by the stopper 46, and the folded-back portion of the outer panel 30 is not fixed to the annular portion. For this reason, the folded-back portion of the outer panel 30 can move not only in the direction of the arrow A in the figure, but can also move in the direction of the arrow B in the figure. Thus, the action can be performed so that the size of the annular portion of the cuff 20A becomes smaller and larger. In order to obtain the state illustrated in FIGS. 6A and 6B, the portion closer to the other end 30 bof the outer panel 30 needs to be pulled in the direction of the arrow C illustrated in FIG. 5B using the pull tab 38 so that the folded-back portion of the outer panel 30 moves away from the roller 44 against the biasing force of the coil spring 45 to the state illustrated in FIGS. 5A and 5B, and the operation is to be stopped toward the upper side of the pull tab 38 when the state returns to the state illustrated in FIGS. 5A and 5B.In the cuff 20A described above, the attachment to the upper arm is performed according to the following procedure for the attachment. First, a hand is inserted into the annular portion of the cuff 20A from the axial direction, and the annular portion of the cuff 20A is placed on the upper arm of the inserted arm. The pull tab 38 of the cuff 20A is then gripped and pulled out with the other hand, so that the diameter of the annular portion of the cuff 20A is reduced, and thus a suitable fit to the upper arm is obtained without a gap. In this case, the diameter of the annular portion of the collar 20A does not increase and becomes loose even when the force of pulling on the pull tab 38 is released due to the action of the one-way clutch including the clutch plate 44 band the clutch pin 43.Meanwhile, when the cuff 20A is detached from the upper arm, the pull tab 38 is gripped and the portion closer to the other end 30 of the outer panel 30 is pulled upward to the upper side, so that a gap is formed between the upper arm and the annular portion of the cuff 20A, and the upper arm is removed from the annular portion of the cuff 20A, thus completing the detachment. In the above description, the cuff 20A can be attached to the upper arm with a very simple operation of operating the pull tab 28 according to the cuff 20A for the blood pressure monitor and the blood pressure monitor 1 according to the present embodiment equipped with the same. The diameter of the annular portion of the cuff 20A does not increase to release the cuff 20A unless a particular operation is performed, and thus the cuff 20A can be very easily attached to the upper arm. For this reason, the attached attachment of the cuff 20A to the upper arm can be facilitated by adjusting the configuration described above, and the cuff can be attached to the upper arm stably and with sufficient reproducibility. In the cuff 20A for a blood pressure monitor and the blood pressure monitor 1 of the present embodiment equipped with the same, the attachment mechanism for maintaining the tightening state of the cuff is formed with a simple configuration using the roller 44 and the stopper 46 biased toward the roller 44. For this reason, the cuff which has sufficient reproducibility and which can be stably attached can be manufactured without fitting a fastening mechanism having a complex configuration, and the cuff can be manufactured at very low cost.Since the cuff can be attached with a simple operation, the cuff 20A can be easily attached even by elderly persons and women who have a relatively weak force, and thus the cuff for a blood pressure monitor and the blood pressure monitor equipped with the same, which is large-sized in handling, are obtained. Further, since the attachment can be performed very easily, the annular portion of the cuff 20A can be positioned relatively easily and fixed to an appropriate position of the upper arm, occurrence of measurement error due to displacement at the fixing position can be reduced, and measurement of an accurate blood pressure value can be performed. The cuff that can be applied to any person including persons having a long circumferential length of the upper arm and persons having a short circumferential length of the upper arm can be obtained by setting the length of the outer cover 30 sufficiently long and the blood pressure monitor equipped with the same.According to the cuff 20A for a blood pressure monitor and the blood pressure monitor 1 according to the present embodiment equipped therewith, the cuff for a blood pressure monitor and the blood pressure monitor equipped therewith are obtained, which have a simple configuration and can be manufactured at low cost, and the attachment thereof with respect to the upper arm serving as the site to be measured can be easily performed, and the attachment thereof with respect to the upper arm can be stably reproduced.FIGS. 7A, 7B, 8A, and 8B are views showing the configuration and operation of the attachment mechanism of the cuff for a blood pressure monitor according to the first and second variations of the present embodiment, wherein FIGS. 7A and 8A are schematic side views showing a state in which the outer panel is attached by the attachment mechanism, and FIGS. 7B and 8B are schematic side views showing a state in which the attachment is released by the attachment mechanism of the outer panel. The cuff for a blood pressure monitor and the blood pressure monitor according to the first and second variations have configurations similar to those of the cuff for a blood pressure monitor and the above-described blood pressure monitor of the present embodiment except for the aspect described below, and thus the description thereof will not be repeated. As illustrated in FIGS. 7A and 7B, the cuff for a blood pressure monitor according to the first variant has irregularities formed on the surfaces 44 c, 46 cof the roller 44 and the stopper 46. The irregularities formed on the surfaces 44 c, 46 cof the roller 44 and the stopper 46 may be a plurality of notches extending along the axial direction of the collar, or may be irregularities uniformly arranged over the entire surface when the surfaces 44 c, 46 care viewed in plan view. The surface 44 cof the roller 44 and the surface 46 cof the stopper 46 are preferably covered with a rubber material similar to the case of the cuff for a blood pressure monitor according to the present embodiment described above, but may also be covered with a member other than the rubber material. The irregularities are provided to increase the frictional force between the outer liner 30 interposed between the roller 44 and the stopper 46 and the surfaces 44 c, 46 cof the roller and the stopper 46 formed with the irregularities, and the irregularities may be provided only on one of the surfaces of the roller 44 and the stopper 46. With such a configuration, the outer trim 30 can be more reliably fastened, and thus the cuff 20 can be more reliably attached to the upper arm in an adjusted manner. As illustrated in FIGS. 8A and 8B, the cuff for a blood pressure monitor according to the second variant has a pressing member 48 serving as a slide mechanism that is assembled to the roller 44 and the stopper 46. The pressing member 48 is made of a shape memory alloy (SMA) that contracts in a conductive state so that the longitudinal length is decreased and expands in the non-conductive state so that the longitudinal length increases. The roller 44 and the stopper 46 are assembled with a coil spring 45 for biasing in a direction of expanding a gap between the roller 44 and the stopper 46.Specifically, the pressing member 48 made of a shape memory alloy has one end in the longitudinal direction fixed to the shaft 44 aof the roller 44 and the other end in the longitudinal direction fixed to the shaft 46 aof the stopper 46. Thus, in the conductive state where the tension is applied to the pressing member 48, the pressing member 48 contracts against the biasing force of the coil spring 45 as illustrated in FIG. 8A, so that the stopper 46 moves closer to the roller 44 and the outer panel 30 is pressed against the roller 44, and in the non-conductive state where the tension is not applied to the pressing member 48, the pressing member 48 stretches in accordance with the biasing force of the coil spring 45 as illustrated in FIG. 8B, so that the stopper 46 moves away from the roller 44 and thus the outer panel 30 is not pressed against the roller 44.For this reason, according to the above-described configuration, whether or not the folded-back portion of the outer cowl 30 is fixed to the annular portion of the cowl 30 can be electrically controlled by switching the conductive / non-conductive state with respect to the pressing member 48. Therefore, the attachment state of the cuff can be easily switched, and also the cuff can be attached with sufficient operability by disposing a switch or the like for switching the conductive / non-conductive state with respect to the pressing member 48 in either the cuff or the main body. The switch for switching the conductive / non-conductive state with respect to the pressing member 48 can be made in a usual manner with a power source switch for switching between ON / OFF of the electric power of the main body. The coil spring 45 further assists the operation of the pressing member 48, and a configuration of arranging only the pressing member 48 without arranging the coil spring 45 can be adjusted in some cases. In the configuration illustrated in FIGS. 8A and 8B, when the coil spring 45 assembled to the roller 44 and the stopper 46 is changed to a coil spring for biasing in a direction of reducing the gap between the roller 44 and the stopper 46, the member made of a shape memory alloy may also be used as a releasing mechanism (releasing member 48) for releasing the attachment of the outer panel 30. In this case, in the conductive state in which the tension is applied to the releasing member 48, the releasing member 48 contracts in accordance with the biasing force of the coil spring 45 as illustrated in FIG. 8A, so that the stopper 46 moves closer to the roller 44 and the outer panel 30 is pressed against the roller 44, and in the non-conductive state in which the tension is not applied to the releasing member 48, the releasing member 48 expands against the biasing force of the coil spring 45 as illustrated in FIG. 8B, so that the stopper 46 moves away from the roller 44 and the outer panel 30 is not pressed against the roller 44. Effects similar to the above effects can also be obtained with such a configuration.(Second Embodiment)FIG. 9 is a perspective view showing the structure of an outer appearance of a cuff for a blood pressure monitor according to the second embodiment of the present invention, and FIGS. 10A and 10B are schematic perspective views describing the configuration and operation of a fastening mechanism of the cuff for a blood pressure monitor according to the present embodiment. The cuff for a blood pressure monitor according to the present embodiment has a configuration similar to the cuff for a blood pressure monitor in the first embodiment of the present invention except for the aspect described below, and the configuration of the blood pressure monitor equipped with the cuff for a blood pressure monitor according to the present embodiment is also similar to the blood pressure monitor in the first embodiment of the present invention, and thus the description thereof will not be repeated. As illustrated in FIGS. 9, 10A, and 10B, a pair of turning bodies 50, 51 and a shaft holding member 52 are attached to the attachment unit 40 at a cuff 20B for a blood pressure monitor according to the present embodiment. The shaft support member 52 is fixed so as to bridge the pair of side walls 42 aof the support frame 42 of the fixing unit 40, and has a shaft support portion 52 aat both ends. The shaft bearing portion 52 ais disposed so as to protrude toward the outer side from the pair of side walls 42 aof the support frame 42, and the turning bodies 50, 51 are fitted to the shaft bearing portions 52 a, respectively. Each of the pair of turning bodies 50, 51 is thus rotatably fixed to the support frame 42 with the shaft bearing portion 52 aof the shaft holding member 52 as a revolving shaft. Each of the pair of turning bodies 50, 51 has a predetermined position freely mounted on the shaft 46a of the stopper 46. An operation lever 50 ais disposed on one turning body 50 out of the pair of turning bodies 50, 51 to extend continuously from this turning body 50, the operation lever 50 abeing reached to the outside through an opening formed in the housing 41 of the fixing unit 40.The pair of turning bodies 50, 51 and the shaft holding member 52 correspond to a position adjusting mechanism for relatively and variably adjusting the position of the stopper 46 with respect to the roller 44, and the operation lever 50a disposed on the turning body 50 corresponds to a stopper position operation portion for variably adjusting the position of the stopper 46 by manual operation.Specifically, as illustrated in FIG. 10A, a state is achieved in which the outer trim 30 is pressed against the roller 44 when the stopper 46 is positioned close to the roller 46 based on the biasing force of the coil spring 45 when the operation lever 50 ais not operated as illustrated in FIG. 10A, and a state is achieved in which the outer trim 30 is not pressed against the roller 44 when the turning body is rotated against the biasing force of the coil spring 45 so that the stopper 46 is positioned away from the roller 44 when the operation lever 50 ais operated and collapsed in the horizontal direction. For this reason, in the case of the cuff 20B for a blood pressure monitor and the blood pressure monitor equipped therewith, the attachment of the folded-back portion of the outer cover 30 with respect to the annular portion of the outer cover 30 can be easily released by operating the operation lever 50 a, so that the cuff can be attached with better operability.(Third Embodiment)FIG. 11 is a schematic cross section describing a detailed structure of a cuff for a blood pressure monitor according to a third embodiment of the present invention. The cuff for a blood pressure monitor according to the present embodiment has a configuration similar to the cuff for a blood pressure monitor in the first embodiment of the present invention except for the aspect described below, and the configuration of the blood pressure monitor equipped with the cuff for a blood pressure monitor according to the present embodiment is also similar to those blood pressure monitors in the first embodiment of the present invention, and thus the description thereof will not be repeated. As illustrated in FIG. 11, in the cuff 20C for a blood pressure monitor according to the present embodiment, a curler 35 serving as a curved elastic plate is included in the outer panel 30 in addition to the air bladder 34. The winder 35 is disposed along the outer side of the air bladder 34, and is made of a flexible member configured to be elastically deformable in the radial direction by being wound into an annular shape. The curler 35 may be attached or attached to the outer circumferential surface of the air bladder 34 by means of an adhesive member such as a double-sided adhesive tape, and may be configured to abut along the upper arm by maintaining its annular shape, and thus becomes a core material of the cuff 20C.The curler 35 is provided to facilitate fastening when the subject(s) fasten the cuff 20C to the upper arm, and bias the air bladder 34 toward the upper arm side in the fastened state of the cuff 20C to the upper arm. The curler 35 is formed of a resin member such as polypropylene (PP) to have a sufficient elastic force.According to such a configuration, not only the air bladder 34 is reliably pressed against the upper arm in the attachment state so as to exhibit stable winding, but a gap larger than in the case of the cuff for a blood pressure monitor having the configuration described in the first embodiment is formed between the upper arm and the annular portion of the cuff 20C by the restoring force at which the curler 35 attempts to increase the diameter when the pull tab 38 is gripped and the portion closer to the other end 30 bof the outer cover 30 is pulled downward (see FIG. 6 and the description thereof) to detach the cuff 20C from the upper arm, and thus the cuff 20C can be more easily detached from the upper arm.(Fourth Embodiment)FIG. 12 is a perspective view showing the structure of an external appearance of a cuff for a blood pressure monitor according to a fourth embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 13 is a schematic cross-sectional view describing a detailed structure of a cuff for a blood pressure monitor according to the present embodiment. The cuff for a blood pressure monitor according to the present embodiment has a configuration similar to that of the cuff for a blood pressure monitor in the first embodiment of the present invention except for the aspect described below, and the configuration of the blood pressure monitor equipped with the cuff for a blood pressure monitor according to the present embodiment is also similar to the blood pressure monitor in the first embodiment of the present invention, and thus the description thereof will not be repeated. As illustrated in FIGS. 12 and 13, a cuff 20D for a blood pressure monitor according to the present embodiment does not include the annular ring 36 at an end 30 aof the outer liner 30, unlike the cuff 20A for a blood pressure monitor described above in the first embodiment. Instead, the curler 35 disposed in the cuff 20C for a blood pressure monitor according to the third embodiment is disposed inside the outer liner 30 in the cuff 20D for the blood pressure monitor according to the present embodiment. For this reason, in the cuff 20D for the blood pressure monitor according to the present embodiment, the annular shape of the curler 35 is maintained, and the portion closer to the other end 30 bof the outer panel 30 is overlapped on the annular portion of the outer panel 30 to form an overlapped portion in the outer panel 30. Such an overlapping portion of the outer panel 30 is inserted into the fastening unit 40.According to the cuff 20D for a blood pressure monitor and the blood pressure monitor equipped therewith according to the present embodiment described above, effects similar to the effects described for the first and third embodiments can be obtained.(Fifth Embodiment)In the above-described first embodiment of the present invention, a case where the blood pressure monitor 1 is configured to execute the process of driving the pressurizing pump 17 and the like after the attachment of the cuff 20A for measuring the blood pressure value has been illustratively described, but whether or not the state of winding the cuff 20A is in an optimum state of winding can also be detected by preliminarily applying air to the air bladder 34 just before the attachment of the cuff 20A. A case where the blood pressure monitor is configured in such a manner will be described below as a fifth embodiment.FIG. 14 is a flowchart showing a flow of processes of the blood pressure monitor in the fifth embodiment of the present invention. The configuration of the cuff for a blood pressure monitor and the blood pressure monitor equipped with the same according to the present embodiment are similar to the above-described blood pressure monitor in the first embodiment of the present invention, and thus the description thereof will not be repeated. As illustrated in FIG. 14, in the blood pressure monitor according to the present embodiment, the operation unit 14 disposed on the main body 10 is first operated to turn ON the electric power of the blood pressure monitor before the cuff 20A is fastened. At this time, the electric power serving as the power supply is supplied from the power supply unit 15 to the control unit 11 for driving the control unit 11, and the blood pressure monitor is initialized (step S 201). After initialization, the control unit 11 closes the exhaust valve 18 and drives the pressurizing pump 17, and starts the preliminary pressurization with pressure of the air bladder 34 (step S 202). After a predetermined volume of air is introduced into the air bladder 34, the control unit 11 stops driving the pressurizing pump 17 and ends the preliminary pressurization (step S 203).The control unit 11 then determines whether or not the cuff 20A is in a predetermined tightening state based on the signal input from the oscillation circuit 19 a. The determination whether or not the cuff 20A is in the predetermined tightening state performed in the control unit 11 is made based on whether or not the signal input from the oscillation circuit 19 ahas reached a predetermined threshold value or more using the fact that the internal pressure of the air bladder 34 reaches a predetermined pressure when the cuff 20A is attached to the upper arm in a tightened manner. The control unit 11 performs an error display on the display unit 13 (step S 205) when it is determined that the cuff 20A is not in the predetermined tightening state (NO in step S 204), and returns to step S 204 again to determine whether or not the cuff is in the predetermined tightening state. The subject performs the attachment operation of the cuff 20A during the determination by the control unit 11. Specifically, with reference to the display of the display unit 13, the pull tab 38 of the cuff 20A is pulled to reduce the diameter of the annular portion of the cuff 20A, and the tightening operation is performed until the error display disappears, so that the cuff 20A is fitted to the upper arm without a gap.The control unit 11 starts driving the pressurizing pump 17 and gradually increases the cuff pressure of the air bladder 34 (step S 206), when it is determined that the cuff 20A is in the predetermined tightening state (YES in step 204), then stops the pressurizing pump 17 when the cuff pressure reaches a predetermined level for measurement of the blood pressure, then gradually opens the closed exhaust valve 18 to gradually exhaust the air in the air bladder 34 and gradually decreases the cuff pressure (step S 207), and measures the blood pressure value of the cuff pressure in the micro-speed pressurizing process. Then, the control unit 11 calculates the blood pressure value such as the systolic blood pressure value and the diastolic blood pressure value by a known procedure (step S 208), displays the blood pressure value on the display unit 13 serving as the measurement result (step S 209), and also stores the blood pressure value in the storage unit 12, opens the air bladder 34 to completely discharge the air in the air bladder 34 (step S 210), and waits for the command to turn OFF the electric power from the subject to end the operation.According to the blood pressure monitor and subsequent to the processing procedure described above, measurement of the blood pressure value is performed only after the cuff 20A is wound around the upper arm in an adjusted state, and thus a blood pressure monitor that enables highly accurate measurement of the blood pressure value can be realized. In the first to fifth embodiments of the present invention described above, a case where the surface of the roller is covered with a rubber material or a case where irregularities are formed on the surface of the roller have been illustratively described, but it does not necessarily have to be configured in such a manner, and the surface of the roller may be covered with a member other than the rubber material, or the irregularities do not have to be specifically formed on the surface of the roller as long as a frictional force for gradually fixing the outer liner is generated between the surface of the outer liner and the surface of the roller.Further, in the first to fifth embodiments of the present invention described above, a case where the stopper is not only movably supported but is also rotatably supported by the support frame has been illustratively described, but the stopper does not necessarily have to be rotatably supported by the support frame and may be non-rotatably supported by the support frame. If the stopper is rotatably supported by the support frame, then the stopper may be supported so as to be rotatable only in one direction, similar to the case of the roller. The rotation direction of the stopper in this case is, similarly to the case of the roller, the direction in which the size of the annular portion of the outer liner is reduced in a state in which the overlapping portion of the outer liner is interposed between the stopper and the roller.Further, in the first to fifth embodiments of the present invention described above, a case where the stopper is movably supported by the support frame has been exemplarily described, but the stopper is fixedly attached to the support frame and the roller is movably attached to the support frame if a configuration is adopted in which one kind of releasing member is disposed. In other words, when the releasing member is disposed, at least only one of the roller and the stopper needs to be configured to be movable.Further, in the first to fifth embodiments of the present invention described above, a case where a configuration using a clutch plate and a clutch pin that meshes with the clutch plate for the one-way clutch has been described, but the one-way clutch or other configurations can be obviously used. For example, a support form for the one-way clutch of other configurations may be used. The one-way clutch of this support form comprises an outer ring inserted from the outside with respect to the shaft and a roller and a spring interposed between the outer ring and the shaft, wherein when the outer ring is rotated in a direction of a predetermined direction, for example, the roller meshes with both the outer ring and the shaft by the action of the spring so that the shaft is driven and rotated in the same direction, whereas when the outer ring is rotated in a direction opposite to the predetermined direction, the roller idles, either away from the outer ring or the shaft.Furthermore, in the first to fifth embodiments of the present invention described above, a so-called upper arm type blood pressure monitor in which the cuff is attached to the upper arm during measurement of the blood pressure value and a cuff for a blood pressure monitor attached therein has been described by way of example, but is not limited thereto, and the present invention can be naturally applied to a wrist type blood pressure monitor in which a cuff is attached to the wrist during measurement of the blood pressure value and a cuff for a blood pressure monitor attached therein, or a so-called ankle type blood pressure monitor in which the cuff is attached to the ankle during measurement of the blood pressure value and a cuff for a blood pressure monitor attached therein.Furthermore, in the first to fifth embodiments of the present invention described above, a case where the present invention is applied which can measure the blood pressure value such as the systolic blood pressure value and the diastolic blood pressure value and a cuff for a blood pressure monitor mounted therein has been exemplified, but the present invention can also be applied to a blood pressure information monitor which can measure other blood pressure information (for example, a mean blood pressure value, the pulse wave, the pulse, Al value, etc.) other than the blood pressure value such as the systolic blood pressure value and the diastolic blood pressure value and a cuff for a blood pressure information monitor mounted therein. In this way, each embodiment and its variant disclosed herein is illustrative in all aspects and should not be construed as limiting.
