Description

[0001] The present invention relates to an arrangement of a support element and a shelf which is simultaneously rotatably and translationally movable thereon according to the preamble of claim 1. The invention further relates to a piece of furniture with such an arrangement.

[0002] Such arrangements are usually used as furniture, for example in the form of a shelf or a rotationally and translationally movable shelf, which is mounted on a base, for example a support element, so that it can rotate about a vertical axis and at the same time can be displaced in a predetermined direction.

[0003] This makes it easy to move the furniture or shelf out of a corner of a room or furniture with two side walls aligned at an angle to each other.

[0004] To enable such a movement, a structure is used such as that known, for example, from DE 10 2019 109 866 A1 and the translation-rotation fitting described in this document.

[0005] Such an arrangement has proven itself in practice.

[0006] The object of the present invention is to further develop an arrangement of a support element and a shelf which can be moved simultaneously in rotation and translation on the support element in such a way that it can be actuated without the application of manual force.

[0007] This object is achieved by an arrangement having the features of claim 1.

[0008] The arrangement according to the invention of a support element and a shelf which is simultaneously movable in rotation and translation thereon has flat bearing areas facing one another on the shelf and the support element.

[0009] The tray can be rotated relative to the carrier element in opposite directions of rotation via rolling elements guided in grooves or on guide edges and can be displaced in or against a predetermined translation direction.

[0010] A guide groove extending in the translational direction of movement is provided in the support element.

[0011] The grooves are shaped in such a way that when a force is applied to the support in one of the directions of rotation, the support moves in a forced, simultaneous rotational and translational movement from an initial position via an intermediate position in which the support is rotated relative to the carrier plate in one of two possible opposite directions of rotation and displaced in the translational direction, further in one of two possible opposite directions of rotation and displaceable against the translational direction and assumes an end position when rotated by a predetermined angle.

[0012] A rotary drive is arranged on the support element and is non-rotatably coupled to the shelf, with which a torque can be exerted on the shelf.

[0013] With such an arrangement, a translational-rotational movement of the shelf relative to the carrier element is made possible in a simple manner by actuating the electric motor rotary drive.

[0014] Advantageous embodiments of the invention are the subject of the subclaims.

[0015] According to an advantageous embodiment variant, a linear guide aligned parallel to the translation direction is arranged on the support element, along which the rotary drive can be guided in a rotationally fixed manner.

[0016] With such a linear guide, the translational component of the movement of the shelf can be easily controlled.

[0017] According to an advantageous further development, the rotary drive has a drive shaft which is non-rotatably coupled to the storage unit.

[0018] In a preferred development, a guide pin protruding into the guide groove is arranged on the shelf and is coupled in a rotationally fixed manner to the drive shaft.

[0019] The guide pin ensures reliable guidance of the shelf along the guide groove.

[0020] Furthermore, the guide pin prevents the drive shaft from hitting the side walls of the guide groove during the translational movement of the shelf, thereby exerting undesirable leverage forces on the drive shaft.

[0021] In a further advantageous development, the drive shaft is accommodated in a motor housing which is fixed to a component of the linear guide which can be displaced in the translation direction.

[0022] According to a further preferred embodiment, the linear guide is formed or fastened to a side of the support element facing away from the storage area, wherein the guide pin and / or the drive shaft extends into the guide groove.

[0023] This makes it possible, for example, to utilize an otherwise unused foot area below the support element, so that more storage space is available for a piece of furniture.

[0024] In a preferred embodiment, the linear guide has two body rails running parallel to each other and respective guide rails guided in these, wherein the rotary drive is accommodated between the guide rails.

[0025] According to a preferred development, the guide rails are connected to one another by a mounting bracket on which the rotary drive is fastened.

[0026] According to an alternative embodiment, the drive shaft is coupled to a rotary shaft accommodated in a motor housing, wherein the motor housing is fixedly fastened to the support element.

[0027] This enables a stationary mounting of the electric motor, which in this case drives the drive shaft via the rotating shaft, preferably in the form of a flexible shaft.

[0028] It is also conceivable to mount the motor away from the drive shaft on the linear guide or a separate linear guide and to connect the motor itself to the drive shaft using a belt, for example.

[0029] In a preferred embodiment of the arrangement according to the invention, the end position of the shelf corresponds to a position rotated by 90° or a multiple of 90° relative to the starting position of the shelf.

[0030] According to a further advantageous embodiment variant, several simultaneously rotationally and translationally forced shelves are arranged on the carrier element, which can be driven by respective rotary drives.

[0031] In a further advantageous embodiment, the electric motor can be controlled via a controller.

[0032] The control is preferably operated via a button or switch. It is also conceivable to integrate the control into a common smart home system, preferably wirelessly using one of the common frequencies and radio standards (Bluetooth, Zigbee, Wi-Fi, etc.). Voice or gesture control is also conceivable. Controlling the shelf via preprogrammed scenarios, e.g., based on the time of day, is also conceivable.

[0033] The piece of furniture according to the invention with at least one support element and at least one shelf arranged thereon is characterized by an arrangement as described above.

[0034] Preferred embodiments of the invention are described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. They show: Fig. 1 shows a variant of a piece of furniture according to the invention with a support element and a shelf, in an initial position corresponding to a closed position of the shelf, Fig. 2 one of the Fig. 1 corresponding isometric view of the furniture in a first intermediate position of the shelf, Fig. 3 one of the Fig. 1 corresponding isometric view of the furniture in a first end position of the shelf, Fig. 4 one of the Fig. 2 corresponding isometric view of the furniture in a further intermediate position of the shelf, Fig. 5 one the Fig. 1 and Fig. 3 corresponding isometric view of the furniture in a second end position of the shelf, Fig. 6 another isometric view of the furniture from a perspective showing the underside of the furniture with the rotary drive arranged thereon, Fig. 7 an isometric view of the furniture according to Fig. 1 in partially disassembled state to show the components enabling simultaneous translational and rotational movement, Fig. 8 an isometric view of the rotary drive and the linear guide guiding the rotary drive, Fig. 9 another isometric view of the rotary drive and the linear guide from a second perspective and Fig. 10 an isometric view of the support element from below showing the rotary drive and a control unit controlling the rotary drive.

[0035] In the following description of the figures, terms such as top, bottom, left, right, front, rear, etc., refer exclusively to the exemplary representation and position of the support element, the shelf, the rotary drive, the linear guide, and the like chosen in the respective figures. These terms are not to be understood as limiting; i.e., these references may change due to different working positions or the mirror-symmetrical design, etc.

[0036] In the Fig. 1 to 6, the reference numeral 1 designates an embodiment variant of a piece of furniture according to the invention.

[0037] The furniture 1 shown here essentially consists of a support element 2 with a storage area 21 and a rear wall 24 arranged at a side edge of the storage area 21, as well as a shelf 3, which is cube-shaped here and essentially consists of three side walls 32 arranged at right angles to each other, a ceiling 34, and a base serving as a storage surface 35 on one side and as a storage area 31 on the underside. A fourth vertical side surface is open.

[0038] It is also conceivable to design both the support element 2 and the shelf 3 differently. For example, the storage element 2 could also be designed as a body with a cover plate and at least one additional side wall.

[0039] Further below the storage area 21, on a bottom side 23 of the base of the support element 2 forming the storage area 21, the support element 2 has a frame 25 which, in the example shown here, consists of four baseboards arranged at right angles to one another.

[0040] Instead of such a frame 25 consisting of baseboards, it is also conceivable to arrange support feet or the like, for example, in the area of the corners of the underside 23.

[0041] Like the Fig. 1-5, the shelf 3 is in a simultaneous rotational and translational movement from a Fig. 1 shown closed position via a Fig. 2 shown intermediate position into one in Fig. 3 shown first end position movable.

[0042] Due to the square design of the shelf 3 in a plane parallel to the storage area 31, the shelf 3 takes up space in the Fig. 3 shown by 90° compared to the Fig. 1 shows the same surface position on the bearing area 21 of the support element 2.

[0043] The Fig. The first end position shown in Fig. 3 enables access to objects stored on the storage surface 35 of the shelf 3 through the open side 33 of the shelf 3, which is not covered by the rear wall 24 of the support element 2 in the position rotated by 90°.

[0044] Fig. 4 shows a further intermediate position, in which the shelf 3 is placed over the Fig. 3 is further rotated in the same direction of rotation R1.

[0045] A second end position is in Fig. 5, in which the open side 33 of the shelf 3 is now positioned on the side opposite the rear wall 24 of the support element 2.

[0046] To enable the simultaneous rotational and translational movement of the shelf 3 relative to the carrier element 2, between the bearing areas 21, 31 of the carrier element 2 and the shelf 3, as shown in Fig. 7, rolling elements 6 are provided, which are arranged in raceways 43, 44 provided in the bearing areas 21, 31 or, as shown here in Fig. 7, are incorporated in separate plates applied to the bearing areas 21, 31, referred to here as base plate 41 and bearing plate 42.

[0047] The rolling elements 6 are preferably fixed in their relative position to one another in a rolling element cage 61.

[0048] The grooves 43, 44 are shaped in such a way that when force is applied to the support 3 in one of the directions of rotation R1, R2, the support 3 is moved in a forced, simultaneous rotary and translatory movement from an initial position via an intermediate position, for example shown in the Fig. 2 and Fig. 4, in which the shelf 3 is rotated relative to the carrier plate 2 in one of two possible opposite directions of rotation R1, R2 and displaced in the translation direction A, is further rotatable in one of two possible opposite directions of rotation R1, R2 and displaceable against the translation direction A and, when rotated by a predetermined angle α, which here is preferably 90° or a multiple of 90°, assumes an end position as shown in the Fig. 3 and Fig. 5 is shown.

[0049] For the guided translational movement of the tray 3, a guide groove 22 extending in the translational movement direction A is provided in the carrier element 2. The guide groove 22 extends in the case of the Fig. 7 by the plate of the support element 2 forming the bearing area 21 and by the base plate 41 placed thereon. In this embodiment, the guide groove 22 is perpendicular to the plane of the rear wall 24. The orientation of the guide groove 22 can also assume a different angle, for example 45° or 135°, to the plane of the rear wall 24.

[0050] In order to avoid having to effect the simultaneous rotational and translational movement of the shelf 3 relative to the carrier element 2 by manually applying force to the shelf 3, a rotary drive 7 is arranged on the carrier element 2 and is non-rotatably coupled to the shelf 3, with which a torque can be exerted on the shelf 3.

[0051] In the Fig. In the embodiment shown in Figures 6 - 10, the rotary drive 7 has a drive shaft 71 which is non-rotatably coupled to the shelf 3.

[0052] For the rotationally fixed coupling with the shelf 3, as shown in Fig. 7, a guide pin 5 is formed or fastened to the shelf 3, in the embodiment shown here to the bearing plate 42 fastened to the bearing area 31 of the shelf 3, which is coupled in a rotationally fixed manner to the drive shaft 71. The guide pin 5 is in the Fig. 7, it is fixed to a support plate 51 attached to the bearing plate 42 for stabilization against lateral tilting.

[0053] For the rotationally fixed coupling of the drive shaft 71 with the guide pin 5, the guide pin 5 has a polygonal bore parallel to the rotation axis of the rotation directions R1, R2, in which the drive shaft 71 designed as a polygon is received.

[0054] In addition to the Fig. 8 and Fig. In addition to the hexagonal design of the drive shaft 71 shown in Figure 9, other non-rotatable combinations of the drive shaft 71 and the guide pin 5 are also conceivable, such as a star-shaped design or the design of the drive shaft 71 corresponding to the recesses in the guide pin 5 as a square, octagonal, or the like. It is also conceivable to design the drive shaft 71 as a hollow shaft into which the guide pin 5 protrudes accordingly.

[0055] In addition to the drive shaft 71, the rotary drive 7 has a motor housing 72 with an electric motor (not shown) that drives the drive shaft 71.

[0056] The control of the motor of the rotary drive 7 can be done, for example, via a Fig. 10 shown control unit 9, which is connected to the motor of the rotary drive 7 via a cable 10.

[0057] The control unit 9 can be addressed, for example, via control knobs, buttons, or the like (not shown here). It is also conceivable to equip the control unit 9 with a wireless interface so that it can be addressed, for example, via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, etc. or voice control, and can be integrated into a smart home system, for example.

[0058] It is also conceivable to design the control unit 9 so that it is controlled via routines. For example, the position of the shelf 3 relative to the support element 2 can be adjusted in different scenarios, for example, depending on the time of day.

[0059] In the Fig. 6 - 10 is on the support element 2, as for example in Fig. 6, a linear guide 8 is arranged which is aligned parallel to the translation direction A and along which the rotary drive 7 can be guided in a rotationally fixed manner.

[0060] The motor housing 72, from which the drive shaft 71 protrudes, is fixed to a component of the linear guide 8 that can be displaced in the translation direction A.

[0061] The rotary drive 7 accordingly only applies a torque to the shelf 3.

[0062] The translational movement of the support 3 relative to the carrier element 2 is effected via the positive guidance by the rolling elements 6 running in the raceways 43, 44.

[0063] As in the Fig. 6 and Fig. As shown in Figure 10, the linear guide 8 is preferably formed or attached to a side of the support element 2 facing away from the shelf 3. The guide pin 5 and / or the drive shaft 71 extends into the guide groove 22.

[0064] In the embodiment shown here, the guide pin 5 projects downwards from the bearing area 31 of the shelf 3 into the guide groove 22 and thus enables low-friction sliding in the guide groove 22 due to its cylindrically shaped outer circumference.

[0065] As in the Fig. 8 and Fig. As shown in Figure 9, the linear guide 8 has two body rails 81 running parallel to one another and guide rails 82 guided in each of these, between which the rotary drive 7 is accommodated.

[0066] In the embodiment shown here, the guide rails 82 are preferably connected to one another by a mounting bracket 83 on which the rotary drive 7 is fastened.

[0067] In the embodiment shown here, the body rails 81 are preferably designed as L-shaped sheets, with holes 84 for the passage of screws or rivets for fixing the body rails 81 to the underside 23 of the bearing area 21 of the support element 2.

[0068] In addition to the embodiment shown here, it is also conceivable in principle that the drive shaft 71 is coupled to a rotary shaft accommodated in a motor housing 72, wherein the motor housing 72 is fixedly fastened to the carrier element 2.

[0069] This makes it possible to fix the motor of the rotary drive 7 in a stationary manner, so that only the drive shaft 71 with the mounting bracket 83 is moved along the linear guide 8 in accordance with the required translational movement.

[0070] It is also conceivable to use the Fig.1 - 5, a piece of furniture in which several such shelves 3 are arranged on a support element 2, which can be driven by respective rotary drives 7 arranged on the support element 2.

[0071] It is also conceivable to mount the motor remotely from the drive shaft 71 on the or a separate linear guide 8 and to connect the motor itself to the drive shaft 71 using, for example, a belt.
