Claims
[1] A food supplement for oral administration comprising: - a zinc compound, preferably zinc bisglycinate, - at least one amino acid from the group consisting of L-histidine and L-methionine, - a magnesium compound, preferably magnesium citrate, - vitamin C, wherein the composition serves to enhance and prolong the effect of botulinum toxin applications. [2] Food supplement according to claim 1, wherein the active ingredients are contained in the following amounts: - Zinc: 10-30 mg - L-Histidine: 50-150 mg - L-Methionine: 50-150 mg - Magnesium citrate: 50-150 mg - Vitamin C: 80-150 mg [3] Food supplement according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the composition may additionally contain further physiologically acceptable micronutrients or enzymes that support the absorption or effect of zinc. [4] Food supplement according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the dosage form is a capsule, tablet, powder or liquid solution. [5] Use of the composition according to any of the preceding claims to support dermatological or aesthetic treatments, in particular to enhance the effect of botulinum toxin.
