Abstract
Description
TECHNICAL FIELDThe invention relates to a weather-proof cover for a child. More particularly, the invention relates to a sleeping bag or a foot bag for a child.BACKGROUNDBaby baby baby bags and foot bags are known in the art. In many baby carriages, so-called winter foot bags are used in colder seasons to keep the child warm during travel. These winter foot bags frequently have a hood which additionally protects the head and neck region of the child. The narrowing of such a hood is conventionally effected via a cord, for example such that both ends of the cord can be contracted to fit the hood opening.Known solutions often have long cords, the loose ends of which can extend into the child's location area. This may pose a risk to the child. It follows from known safety standards, for example according to ASTM F833-13b, that cords or straps which project into the occupant space or are located in the occupant space must not exceed either an inner circumference of 376 mm or a free length of 188 mm. For a baby carriage, this occupant space can be defined as the volume of a lying cylinder sector whose height corresponds to the seat width increased by 127 mm on both sides, whose radius is 559 mm, whose one side surface extends in the plane in which the backrest extends, whose other side surface extends in the plane in which the seat surface extends, wherein the lying cylinder sector is provided such that the lying cylinder sector extends, starting from the seat center, in each case by half the height in each side direction. In a baby tub, the occupant space may be the volume of a cylinder whose base is the reclining surface and whose height extends vertically upward from the reclining surface 559 mm.However, current foot bags on the market do not always take these requirements into account sufficiently. For example, some commercially available products are equipped with a hood cord which, when the hood is narrowed, forms loops which are too long or the free cord end of which can extend too far into the occupant space of the baby carriage or of the baby carrier. In other words, many of the existing winter foot bags do not meet the stringent regulations entirely. This carries a potential risk of injury or strangulation if long cord segments extend into the child's accommodation in an uncontrolled manner.Other foot bags with cord cords conform to the standards, but have the disadvantage that the dimension of the hood opening of the foot bag cannot be reduced sufficiently.SUMMARYIn view of the restrictive safety regulations, the problem arises that there is no sufficient technical solution which both permits a comfortable adjustability of the hood opening over a large range and offers the necessary safety by dropping below the permissible cord length. It is therefore the object to specify an improved system, the safety of which is improved with constant variability of the hood opening. The object is achieved by the subject matter described in independent claim 1. Advantageous further developments are the subject of the dependent claims.According to one embodiment, a weather shield for a child is provided. The weather protection cover may be a sleeping bag or a foot bag. The weather shield may be configured for use in a baby carriage or a child seat. For example, the weather shield may have through-openings on its rear side in order to guide a securing system, for example a belt arrangement, present on the baby carriage or child seat through the rear side of the weather shield in order to be able to secure a child located in the weather shield to the baby carriage. The weather protection cover can alternatively or additionally have fastening sections which enable fastening to a baby carriage or to a child seat. The weather shield may include a torso receiving portion for receiving a torso portion of the child. The weather shield may include a hood portion for receiving the head of the child. The hood portion has a hood opening bounded by a hood rim portion. The weather protection cover further comprises an adjustment system for adjusting the hood opening. The adjustment system can be configured to enable adjustment via rotation of a rotation component or rotation puck, in which the tension component is received in the rotation component or rotation puck. The adjustment system has a tension component which is guided and accommodated at least partially in the hood edge section in such a way that the maximum hood edge section length of the hood edge section is or is limited to the length of an operative section of the tension component located in the hood edge section, and that the length of the operative section can be changed by moving a first end section of the tension component out of and into the hood edge section in order to change a length of the hood edge section. A change in the length of the hood edge section can be effected by pushing together the hood edge section with formation of folds. The pulling member may be configured to pull one end of the hood edge portion toward the other end of the hood edge portion. The tension member may be configured to change a distance between hood edge portion ends. The adjustment system has a stowage device for at least partially stowage the first end section of the tension component located outside the hood edge section. The stowage device can, for example, prevent a part of the tension component from hanging out of the hood edge section. It is also possible to prevent the tension component from having a loose end. Moreover, it can be avoided that a part of the tension member extends too far into the interior of the hood and represents a danger for a child. The stowage device therefore increases the safety of the weather protection enclosure. Moreover, stowage of the first end section enables a greater adjustment range of the hood opening, since a length limitation of the part of the tension component that can be moved out of the hood edge section does not have to take place. The stowage device may comprise a winding spool for winding the first end portion. The first end portion may be coupled to the take-up reel. The take-up reel may be configured as a knob or operatively coupled to a knob that can be operated by a user to wind up the first end portion of the tension member. The stowage device may comprise a blocking device for blocking unwinding of the first end section from the take-up reel. The stowage device can have a latching mechanism which is designed such that winding can take place in defined steps and / or unwinding is automatically blocked. The stowage device can be transferable between a securing state in which the latching mechanism is active and inhibits unwinding of the first end section, and a release state in which the latching mechanism is inactive and allows unwinding of the first end section. The rotary knob can be configured to be removable, for example such that a removal of the rotary knob transfers the stowage device from the securing state to the release state. The hood edge portion can have a channel in which the tension component is guided. The channel may be made of a soft, flexible and / or collapsible material, for example a textile material.A second end section of the tension component can be fixed, for example sewn, to the hood edge section at an end section of the duct remote from the stowage device, in particular fixed on one side within the duct or at its end. Alternatively, the second end portion may be formed to protrude from the end portion of the duct farther from the storage device and configured not to enter the duct when a pulling force is applied to the pulling member on the storage device side. The tension member may include a cable. The tension member may include an elastic portion. The tension member may include a flexible and substantially non-length static portion and an elastic portion. The elastic portion can cause the pressure to be well dispersed and not excessively high even when the tension member is strongly tensioned and the hood edge is pressed to the head of an occupant because the portion is elastic. In addition, the elastic portion can contribute to the length-invariable portion being able to be pulled more easily out of the stowage device and into the channel if the hood opening is to be enlarged. The static portion may be coupled at one end to the storage device and may be coupled at the other end to the elastic portion via a coupling portion. The coupling portion may be formed as a guide portion configured to ensure its movability in the hood edge portion or duct and to avoid being caught, for example, even when the hood edge portion or duct is collapsed to form folds. The coupling portion may have an oval-ellipsoidal shape. The coupling section can be designed as a rotational ellipsoid, for example as an elongated rotational ellipsoid. In particular, the coupling section can be formed such that ends opposite in the longitudinal direction have a smaller outer circumference than a central region between the ends. In this way, it can be ensured that the coupling portion can enter regions of the hood edge portion which are locally narrowed due to wrinkling. The opposite ends of the coupling section can be formed to be tapering. The adjustment system can be integrated into the hood section in such a way that the tension component is concealed or completely embedded, for example in such a way that the tension component is not accessible to a user or occupant.According to one embodiment, a weather protection covering for a child, in particular a sleeping bag or a foot bag, is provided, having the torso receiving section, the hood section and the adjustment system, wherein the adjustment system has a winding spool and a tension component, for example a tension component as described above, wherein the tension component is at least partially guided and received in the hood edge section such that a first end section of the tension component is configured to be moved out of and into the hood edge section by the winding spool in order to change the length of the hood edge section.BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGSThe invention will be described with reference to the accompanying figures. FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of a weather protection cover according to an embodiment. FIG. 2 is a front view of the weather shield shown in FIG. 1.The figures are schematic and not to scale. Like reference numerals are used for like elements.DETAILED DESCRIPTIONAn embodiment of a weather shield case 1 will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2.The weather protection cover 1 has a torso receiving section 2 or main receiving section, and a hood section 4 adjoining the latter. The torso receiving section 2 can be designed to be openable on its front side. For example, the torso receiving portion 2 can have a separating portion 9 which enables a separation of a right front portion 5 and a left front portion 7 such that these portions can be folded out laterally, as shown in FIG. 2. In this way, a child can be more easily put in the weather shield case 1. The separating portion 9 can have a coupling device, for example a zipper.According to one embodiment, the weather shield 1, as shown in FIG. 2, has one or more through-openings on its rear side in order to guide a securing system, for example a belt arrangement 60, present on the baby carriage or child seat through the rear side of the weather shield in order to enable a child located in the weather shield to be secured. The hood portion 4 has a hood opening 6.A pulling component 40, 50 of an adjustment system 20 extends in the hood edge section 8, and a stowage device 30 in the form of a winding device is also provided at the upper end of the hood section 4, with which stowage device the pulling component 40, 50 can be partially wound up in order to change the effective length of the pulling component 40, 50 or of the section of the pulling component outside the stowage device 30. A change in the effective length of the tension member 40, 50 increases or decreases the hood opening 6. Therefore, a change in the effective length of the tension member 40, 50 results in a change in the length of the hood edge portion 8 and thus in a change in the dimension of the hood opening 6.The hood edge portion 8 has a guide 10, 12 for guiding the tension member 40, 50. The guide 10, 12 can have a channel or be designed as a channel. In the embodiment shown, the hood edge portion 8 has a left (first) channel 10 and a right (second) channel 12. The channels 10, 12 extend from an upper portion of the hood edge portion 8 laterally downwards along the hood edge portion 8, for example up to a transition portion between hood portion 4 and torso receiving portion 2.In the left channel 10, a left (first) pulling member 40 is accommodated. The left tension member 40 has a first end portion 41 extending to the upper end of the hood edge portion 8. The left tension member 40 has a second end portion 48 that is remote from the first end portion 41 and may form, for example, an opposite end of the tension member. The second end section 48 is fixed to the hood edge section 8, for example in the region of a lower end of the left duct 10.The left tension member 40 further includes a substantially non-length variable (static) portion 42 and a variable length elastic portion 44. The static portion 42 may be an upper portion. The elastic portion may be a lower portion. The elastic portion may include the second end portion 48.The static portion 42 and the elastic portion 44 are coupled to each other via a coupling portion 46. The coupling portion 46 may be formed in the shape of a long-distance ellipsoid of revolution to improve the sliding property of the coupling portion 46 in the left channel. In the right channel 12, a right (second) tension member 50 is accommodated. The right tension member 50 has a first end portion 51 extending to the upper end of the hood edge portion 8. The right tension member 50 has a second end portion 58 that is located away from the first end portion 51 and forms an opposite end, for example. The second end section 58 is fixed to the hood edge section 8, for example in the region of a lower end of the right duct 12.The right tension member 50 further includes a substantially non-length variable (static) portion 52 and a variable length elastic portion 54. The static portion 52 may be an upper portion. The elastic portion 54 may be a lower portion. The elastic portion 54 may include the second end portion 58.The static portion 52 and the elastic portion 54 are coupled to each other via a coupling portion 56. The coupling portion 56 may be formed in the shape of a long-distance ellipsoid of revolution to improve the sliding property of the coupling portion 56 in the right channel. The adjustment system 20 further comprises the winding device 30. The take-up device 30 includes a take-up spool 32 rotatably supported on a base 34. The base 34 may be fixed to the hood portion 4, for example, at the top in the middle of the hood portion 4.The take-up reel 32 is designed as a rotary knob. The first end portion 41 of the left tension member 40 is coupled to the take-up reel 32. The first end portion 51 of the right tension member 50 is also coupled to the take-up reel 32. By rotating the take-up reel 32, the first end portion 41 and the second end portion 51 are wound up, thereby changing the effective length of the tension members 40, 50 in the channels 10, 12.In a developed state, the tension members 40, 50 and the channels 10, 12 may be of equal length. In the wound-up state, the tension components 40, 50 are shorter than the channels, for which reason the channels 10, 12 are compressed or pushed together forming folds. The length of the hood edge section 4 and accordingly also the dimension of the hood opening 6 thus change. In order to prevent the tension components 40, 50 from unwinding from the winding spool 32, the winding device 30 can have a locking device, not shown in detail. The locking device can have a latching mechanism which is designed such that winding can take place in defined steps and / or unwinding is automatically locked. The stowage device or winding device 30 can be transferred between a securing state in which the latching mechanism is active and blocks unwinding of the first end section 41, 51, and a release state in which the latching mechanism is inactive and enables unwinding of the first end section 41, 51, for example by pulling out the rotary knob. Unwinding of the tension members 40, 50 can be promoted by the elastic portions described above at the front end portion of the tension members 40, 50.REFERENCE NUMERALS1 Weather-proof covering / sleeping bag / foot bag 2 torso-receiving section / main-receiving section 4 hood section 5 right front section 6 hood opening 7 left front section 8 hood edge section 9 separating section / slide fastener 10 (first / left) guide / channel 12 (second / right) guide / channel 20 adjustment system 30 winding device 32 rotating knob (winding spool) 34 base 40 (first / left) tension member 41 (first) end section / rear end section 42 upper section / winding part 44 lower section / elastic section 46 coupling section 48 second end section / fastening section / front end 50 (second / right) tension member 51 (first) end section / rear end section 52 upper section / winding part 54 lower section / elastic part 56 coupling section 58 second end section / Fastening section / front end 60 Securing system / retaining device / belt arrangement
