A beach chair towel retaining system is disclosed comprising a beach towel for covering a beach chair. An upper stretchable band resiliently surrounds both the upper portion of the towel and the upper portion of the beach chair and retains the upper portion of the towel on the surface of the upper portion of the beach chair. A lower stretchable band resiliently surrounds both the lower portion of the towel and the lower portion of the beach chair and retains the lower portion of the towel on the surface of the lower portion of the beach chair. Each of the upper and lower stretchable bands comprises a bunchable towel material encasing an elastic material. A saddle bag comprising a strip with a pocket, for item storage, at each end rests on top of the intermediate portion of the towel, with one of the pockets hanging on one side of the intermediate portion of the beach chair and the other of the pockets hanging on the other side to retain the intermediate portion of the towel on the intermediate portion of the beach chair. A pillow and a pocket are detachably attached to the outer surface of the upper stretchable band.

Upholstered seat systems for leisure chairs

An upholstered seat system for use on legless leisure chairs. The seat system has features that make it particularly useful on legless leisure chairs having cushioned backrests. The seat system has a seat cushion made of an upholstery fabric filled with a soft resilient material, and further having a flap extending from the back of the seat cushion for attachment to the front lower cross member of a legless leisure chair. The flap provides a flexible means of attaching the seat cushion to the backrest that enables the seat cushion to be folded for storage or transport. The seat system also provides two lower leg support options. One option is to have a two piece seat system including the seat cushion and an ottoman cushion. The other option is to extend the seat cushion to provide continuous support from a user's buttocks to the user's heels. The ottoman cushion can be made with a slip resistant underside. Also disclosed is how the seat system can be made with a multi-layer foam filling, or other fillings.

A chair for use during wade fishing in order to allow the user to sit above the water line has a director's chair with four feet, two forwardly located and two rearwardly located. Extensions are threadably removed within receivers attached to each foot, the extensions having pointed ends that are received within the sandy bottom below the water line. Steps are located just below the feet to help a user get into the chair. Weight distribution disks are frictionally held on the extensions to prevent undue sinking of the chair. Pouches, both mesh and waterproof, are attached to the arm rests and the seat of the chair. A rod holder is receivable within an opening on the arm rest. A receiver is attached to the frame of an upper portion of the chair to hold an umbrella.

Foldable and portable lounge chair having an integrated lockable storage compartment

A lounge chair equipped with wheels and is configured to be foldable by a user and has an integrated storage compartment with a locking mechanism. At least one storage compartment is integrated within the lounge chair. The cavity is at least the size to allow the reclining individual to view through the cavity and perform tasks such as reading. The cover may be removable from the cushion. The head of the reclining individual rests on the cushion while viewing through the cavity. The cushion surrounds the mount and cavity to provide structure to the cover and conform to the features of the head of the reclining individual. The head section may be pivotally attached to other sections of the chair.

A canopy that reciprocates in and out of a channel of a back assembly for a chair, the canopy comprises a pair of flexible members, a weatherproof panel and a pair of bias members. Each flexible member has a first rod end, a second rod end and a rod body disposed therebetween. The flexible members are configured to reciprocate between a retracted position that is within the channel of the back assembly and an expanded position that is out of the channel and over the chair. The weatherproof panel removeably attaches to the flexible members when the flexible members are positioned in the expanded position. Each bias member has an upper end and a lower end. The upper ends are connected near the second ends of the flexible members and the lower ends are connected to the chair wherein the bias members pull the second ends of the flexible members toward the chair to bend the flexible members in an arc shape over the chair so that the panel covers the chair.

A back-supported load-carrying mechanism that includes a rigid frame having a lower portion that includes an opening between a first vertical side and a second vertical side. A horizontal shaft is mounted to the sides and extends through the opening. A lumbar support element is pivotally mounted on the horizontal shaft. The horizontal shaft is mounted to the vertical sides of the frame with a suspension mechanism that enables each end of the horizontal shaft (and each side of the lumbar support element) to move fore and aft in relation to the frame. Tensioners mounted on the frame apply forward pressure to the shaft. Two rear leg extensions on each side of the frame enable the load-carrying mechanism to stand upright when placed on the ground. The lumbar support can pivot approximately 95 degrees to a position enabling the load-carrying mechanism to be utilized as a chair.
