Abstract
Description
Technical field
[0001] The invention relates to a clamping and transport device. State of the art
[0002] In daily life, especially in processing plants, the transport of objects is frequently necessary. Although transport is occasionally assisted by trolleys, in most cases it must be carried out manually, for example when moving objects onto a trolley or to the assembly position.
[0003] However, there are no specialized transport devices on the market to assist personnel with handling these materials. In particular, sheet or panel materials (such as glass, wood, metal, or stone) are difficult to transport due to their size, weight, and the limited grip area at the edges. This often leads to injuries among personnel or to the objects being dropped, resulting in structural damage.
[0004] Therefore, it is necessary to provide a novel and inventive clamping and transport device to solve the problems mentioned above. Object of the invention
[0005] The object of the invention is to provide a clamping and transport device specifically designed to assist the user in transporting objects, particularly objects that do not have large areas for gripping, such as, but not limited to, sheet materials.
[0006] This objective is achieved by the clamping and transport device of the invention, which comprises: a base, a first handle, two clamping elements and a coupling assembly, wherein the first handle is arranged on the base, wherein the two clamping elements are movably arranged on the base to clamp an object, wherein the coupling assembly is coupled to the two clamping elements in an operative connection, and wherein the coupling assembly can be actuated from the outside to drive the two clamping elements to a relative movement towards each other. Brief description of the drawings Fig. 1 a perspective view of the invention, Fig. 2 an exploded view according to Fig. 1, Fig. 3. An exploded view from a different viewing angle, Fig. 4 a side view according to Fig. 1, Fig. 5 an enlarged view of the invention, Fig. 6 an enlarged sectional view of the invention, Fig. 7 and Fig. 8 schematic views of the functional connection of the coupling assembly and the two clamping elements. Detailed description of the exemplary implementations
[0007] As in the Fig. The clamping and transport device of the invention, shown in Figures 1 to 8, comprises: a base 1, a first handle 2, two clamping elements 3 and a coupling assembly 4.
[0008] The first handle 2 is positioned at the base 1 to provide the necessary gripping space and position for transport. The two clamping elements 3 are movably mounted on the base 1 to clamp an object 8. The coupling assembly 4 is operatively connected to the two clamping elements 3, and the coupling assembly 4 can be actuated externally to drive the two clamping elements 3 into a relative movement. This allows the user to intuitively operate the coupling assembly 4 to open and close the two clamping elements 3 synchronously, thus completing the clamping and releasing process quickly. The two clamping elements 3 can simultaneously exert the same clamping force on both sides of the object 8, reducing the risk of deviation or slippage due to uneven adjustment and improving clamping efficiency and transport stability.
[0009] The clamping and transport device further comprises two articulated axes 61, wherein the two clamping elements 3 are pivotably connected to the base 1 via the two articulated axes 61. Each of the clamping elements 3 can pivot smoothly about the articulated axis 61 to form a stable clamping path, to make the clamping process less strenuous and to reduce the range of motion (compared to a linear movement).
[0010] Furthermore, the clamping and transport device comprises two stop elements 62, which are positioned protruding from the two clamping elements 3 and move synchronously with them. The two stop elements 62 can selectively rest against the base 1 to define the limit positions of the movement range of the two clamping elements 3. This prevents excessive opening or closing of the two clamping elements 3 from causing interference between the components, misalignment of the clamping surfaces, or unstable clamping forces, thereby increasing operational reliability and extending the service life of the structure.
[0011] Preferably, the clamping and transport device further comprises two elastic elements 63, each resiliently arranged between the two clamping elements 3 and the base 1. This gives the clamping elements 3 a preload in a specific direction of movement, so that they automatically engage when the object 8 is set down or during operation, thus maintaining a basic clamping force. This reduces the strain on the user from constantly applying force and decreases the risk of the object falling due to sudden release during transport. In the present embodiment, two joint sleeves 64 are each mounted onto the two joint axes 61 and inserted into the two clamping elements 3. The two elastic elements 63 are slid onto the joint sleeves 64 and are located between the clamping elements 3 and the base 1.The arrangement of the two joint sleeves 64 and the two elastic elements 63 enables a more even distribution of force and reduces wear at the joint points.
[0012] In a further preferred embodiment, each clamping element 3 comprises a main body 31 and an anti-slip element 38. The anti-slip element 38 is applied to the main body 31 and serves to bear against the object 8. The anti-slip element 38 increases the coefficient of friction of the clamping surface to reduce slippage. Furthermore, its softer or damping material allows it to absorb local pressure, thus preventing surface damage when clamping easily scratched objects 8 such as glass, painted panels, or polished metal. This improves usability and transport reliability and enables a closer fit to the surface of the object 8.
[0013] In a further preferred embodiment, each clamping element 3 also comprises a frame 32 and a partition 33. More precisely, the main body 31 comprises the frame 32 and the partition 33. The partition 33 is arranged transversely inside the frame 32 to divide the frame 32 into two sections 34. The structures of the two sections 34 are identical, which facilitates production and assembly. Here, the partition 33 serves to provide support for the adjacent components. In addition, the partition 33 increases the bending and torsional stiffness of the frame 32, so that the clamping element 3 remains resistant to deformation under high or eccentric loads and maintains the parallelism of the clamping surfaces.
[0014] The coupling assembly 4 comprises a first coupling element 41, two second coupling elements 42, and a second handle 43. The two second coupling elements 42 are each connected to the first coupling element 41 and the two clamping elements 3 to establish an operative connection. The second handle 43 projects from the first coupling element 41. The first coupling element 41 and the second coupling elements 42 can distribute the actuating force exerted on the second handle 43 evenly across the two clamping elements 3, so that clamping occurs synchronously and with balanced force on both sides, thereby increasing clamping stability and reducing clamping deviation. In the present embodiment, the coupling assembly 4 further comprises two insertion elements 44, wherein one end of each insertion element 44 is positioned on the two second coupling elements 42 and the other end of each insertion element 44 is inserted into the two clamping elements 3. The insertion elements 44 and the clamping elements 3 are connected to each other by a plug connection, which not only provides a stable force transmission path and reduces the probability of loosening, but also helps to shorten the assembly process and improve ease of maintenance and replacement.
[0015] More precisely, each of the sections 34 is provided with a receiving recess 35, wherein the receiving recess 35 has a first mounting space 36 and a connected second mounting space 37. The insertion element 44 is inserted into the first mounting space 36, and the elastic element 63 is inserted into the second mounting space 37, the insertion element 44 and the elastic element 63 each having a unique position and guidance. The insertion element 44 and the elastic element 63 bear against the partition 33, thereby achieving a stable positioning effect.
[0016] More precisely, with reference to the same clamping element 3, the connection between the center of the joint axis 61 and the center of the insertion element 44 forms a first line 71. The connection between the center of the joint axis 61 and the center of the stop element 62 forms a second line 72. The ratio of the length of the first line 71 to the length of the second line 72 is greater than 2. An angle 73 is formed between the first line 71 and the second line 72, and this angle 73 is greater than 100 degrees.
[0017] The clamping and transport device further comprises a limiting mechanism 5, wherein the limiting mechanism 5 has a linear limiting groove 51 and a limiting projection 52. One of the limiting groove 51 and the limiting projection 52 is arranged at the base 1 and the other is arranged at the coupling assembly 4. The limiting projection 52 projects into the limiting groove 51 to limit the range of motion of the coupling assembly 4.
[0018] More precisely, the limiting groove 51 is arranged on the first coupling element 41, with the extension direction of the limiting groove 51 running transversely to the spacing direction of the two clamping elements 3. The limiting groove 51, the first handle 2, and the second handle 43 are arranged coaxially. The limiting mechanism 5 ensures that the first coupling element 41 can only perform a linear movement, thus preventing arbitrary pivoting that could lead to unexpected collisions or deviations. Furthermore, the pivoting range of the two clamping elements 3 can be controlled via the length of the limiting groove 51 to prevent excessive pivoting of the two clamping elements 3, which could cause unnecessary collisions or structural damage.
[0019] More precisely, the base 1 defines a first side 11 and a second side 12, with the two clamping elements 3 arranged on the first side 11 and the first handle 2 arranged on the second side 12. By arranging the clamping and gripping elements separately on opposite sides of the base 1, interference between the user's hand and the clamped object 8, as well as the coupling assembly 4, can be avoided, thus reducing the risk of hand entrapment. In the present embodiment, the base 1 is further provided with a through-hole 13, with the second handle 43 extending from the first side 11 through the through-hole 13 and protruding from the second side 12. The parallel arrangement of the first handle 2 and the second handle 43 provides a more natural, ergonomic grip position, which facilitates the coordinated application of force by both hands to improve transport stability and ease of use.
[0020] In summary, the present invention comprises a clamping and transport device comprising: a base 1, a first handle 2, two clamping elements 3, and a coupling assembly 4, wherein the first handle 2 is arranged on the base 1, wherein the two clamping elements 3 are movably arranged on the base 1 to clamp an object 8, wherein the coupling assembly 4 is operatively connected to the two clamping elements, and wherein the coupling assembly 4 can be actuated externally to drive the two clamping elements into a relative movement with respect to each other. In practical application, the user can control the two clamping elements by actuating the coupling assembly, causing them to clamp or release the object. Once the two clamping elements have clamped the object, the user can hold the first handle to transport the object, which greatly facilitates the transport process.
