Description
[0001] The invention relates to a connecting device for gastric calibration tubes and a medical system comprising a connecting device and a gastric calibration tube.
[0002] In the medical field, connecting devices are generally known by means of which fluid connections can be established between different fluid-carrying medical devices (such as syringes, cannulas, catheters, three-way stopcocks and other tubular structures).
[0003] It is known that the connecting devices each have a first and second device at opposite ends for coupling the various medical devices. During coupling, a separable fluid connection is established between the different devices. The seal between the connected parts is often ensured by conical surfaces that match each other.
[0004] A disadvantage of the connecting devices known from the prior art is that only one specific medical device can be connected to each of them. Consequently, connecting devices adapted to the dimensions of the medical devices used must be used.
[0005] Furthermore, gastric calibration tubes for performing medical laparoscopic surgical procedures are known from the state of the art, particularly in the context of surgical procedures such as biliopancreatic diversion with duodenal switch (LBPD-DS), banded Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (LBRYGB), banded sleeve gastrectomy (LBSG), conventional sleeve gastrectomy (LCSG), conventional Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (LCRYGB) and banded gastric bypass.
[0006] The aforementioned gastric calibration tubes have a connecting device for coupling medical devices to the gastric calibration tube at their first / proximal end, facing the treating physician. The connecting devices are connected to the gastric calibration tube via their first end in the region of the first / proximal end. The connecting devices connected to the gastric calibration tubes have a device for coupling medical devices at their second end, facing away from the calibration tube. The coupling device has a fixed geometry such that only medical devices with the corresponding dimensions and / or connection geometries compatible with the coupling device can be coupled.
[0007] A disadvantage of the aforementioned state of the art is that only medical devices with the correct, fixed geometries can be connected to the calibration hose.
[0008] However, in the context of the medical operations to be performed with the gastric calibration tube, it is necessary or desirable to connect different medical devices to it, such as connecting different syringes, cannulas and / or suction tubes with different geometries.
[0009] The problem is that the aforementioned medical devices must all have the same dimensions in the area of the coupling device, which is only possible to a limited extent, for example with different cannulas or syringe sizes, so that additional adapter pieces are regularly required to connect the aforementioned medical devices.
[0010] The invention is therefore based on the object of creating a connecting device for gastric calibration tubes, as well as a medical system comprising a connecting device for calibration tubes and a gastric calibration tube, which eliminates the aforementioned disadvantages of the prior art and ensures simple and secure coupling of different medical devices with a wide variety of connection geometries. The following connecting devices are part of the prior art: WO 2016 / 158937, WO 2011 / 066586, US 5776117, US 4511163.
[0011] The features of claim 1 and claim 6 serve to solve the problem.
[0012] According to the invention, a connecting device for gastric calibration tubes having a first and an opposite second end, wherein a first connection device is formed at the first end and a second connection device is formed at the second end, wherein the first and the second connection device are connected to one another via a fluid channel, and wherein the first connection device has at least one first tapered recess into which gastric calibration tubes can be inserted for coupling.
[0013] The connecting device according to the invention is characterized in that the second connection device for coupling different medical devices has at least one second tapered depression and at least one tapered recess surrounding the second depression in a ring shape, so that the different medical devices can be inserted selectively into the second tapered depression or into the tapered recess for coupling.
[0014] The connecting device can have a substantially cylindrical body with a longitudinal axis, wherein the first and second connection devices can be arranged at opposite first and second ends of the cylinder. In a preferred embodiment, the body forming the connecting device can be circularly cylindrical. The connecting device can, in particular, have a longitudinal axis, and the fluid channel can run substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the connecting device.
[0015] The various medical devices can include, for example, syringes, cannulas, fingertips, and tubular structures such as suction hoses. It is crucial to note that although the various medical devices each have a molded connection device, this can also have significantly different dimensions and, moreover, different geometric shapes due to the different dimensions of the aforementioned medical devices.
[0016] A fingertip is a fluid channel with two opposing connectors and a side opening on the fluid channel. When the fingertip is inserted between a vacuum source (suction pump) and a suction hose or calibration hose, the suction within the suction hose or calibration hose can be regulated as required via the fingertip's side opening. By repeatedly opening and closing the side opening, for example, using a fingertip, an intermittent suction process can be achieved.
[0017] The term coupling or coupling refers to the creation of a separable fluid connection between the different medical devices to be coupled and the connecting device.
[0018] The first and / or second tapered recess is / are each in fluid communication with the fluid channel at its end located in the connecting device and thus at its end facing away from the fluid channel. Thus, the first and / or second tapered recess can also be regarded as part of the fluid channel. The first and / or second tapered recess can have substantially the same dimensions as the fluid channel at the transition to the fluid channel. In an alternative embodiment, however, it is also conceivable for a change in diameter to be provided at the transition between the first and / or second tapered recess and the fluid channel, such that a step is formed at the transition.
[0019] The inventive design of the connecting device has the advantage that different medical devices with different connection systems or, in particular, different connection geometries can be connected in the area of the second connection device. This has the particular advantage that the physician can access different medical devices, in particular, with different connection geometries, while using a gastric calibration tube having a connecting device according to the invention, without having to replace the connected connecting devices on the gastric calibration tube and without having to use adapters.
[0020] A variety of different medical devices with different connection geometries and / or systems can be connected via the second connection device, thus completely avoiding the need for additional adapters. Furthermore, it is now possible for the attending physician to access the desired medical devices, such as syringes with different volumes, fingertips, or suction tubes, while using the calibration hose. The second connection device ensures that any of the aforementioned medical devices can be directly connected to the connecting device. The inventive design thus opens up the possibility of flexible selection of a wide variety of medical devices for the clinical staff or the attending physician.
[0021] According to the invention, the first recess tapers from the first end towards the second end and the second recess tapers from the second end towards the first end.
[0022] The tapered design of the first and / or second recess has the advantage that the medical devices to be connected via the first and / or second recess can initially be easily introduced into the area of the first or second connection device. The tapered design of the recess also has the advantage that when the medical devices are introduced into the tapered recess, the device to be connected automatically centers and aligns itself in the recess in such a way that tilting of the medical device to be connected is largely avoided. It can be provided that the necessary seal between the tapered recess and the medical device to be connected is ensured by the medical device to be connected having an outer surface profile adapted to the profile of the tapered recess.
[0023] The first tapered recess and / or the second tapered recess may form part of the fluid channel.
[0024] In a further embodiment, it can be provided that the opposing first and second tapered recesses merge seamlessly into one another at their distal ends, such that the actual fluid channel of the connecting device is formed solely by the opposing tapered recesses. Such an embodiment has the advantage that the size, or in particular the length, of the connecting device can be kept short. This allows for particularly compact designs of connecting devices.
[0025] According to the invention, a boundary wall and an outer wall surrounding the recess are formed between the second depression and the recess, wherein the outer wall is designed to be retracted relative to the boundary wall in the direction of the second end, such that the boundary wall forms the first end. The aforementioned embodiment has the advantage that the second connection device has two different coupling devices. The first coupling option is formed via the tapered depression or the inner cone. A further coupling option, independent of the aforementioned one, is created by the recess enclosed between the boundary wall and the outer wall.
[0026] Advantageously, the outer diameter of the boundary wall can be provided to increase from the first end toward the second end. Due to the increasing outer diameter of the boundary wall, it can be used as an additional separate coupling option for medical devices with an inner cone or recess. Furthermore, the increased outer diameter makes it easier to slide objects to be coupled onto the boundary wall and guide them into the area of the recess.
[0027] Furthermore, it is provided according to the invention that the boundary wall is bevelled in the region of the second end.
[0028] The bevel of the boundary wall is designed such that the boundary wall has an end face that is inclined with respect to the longitudinal axis of the connecting device, such that an angle other than 90 degrees is enclosed between the inclined plane of the end face and the longitudinal axis of the connecting device. The bevel of the boundary wall has the advantage that the opening formed at the end of the boundary wall is delimited by an oval or elliptical transverse end wall surface. The transverse oval end wall surface facilitates the insertion of medical devices into the opening or the recess enclosed by the boundary wall.
[0029] It can further be provided that the annular recess tapers continuously from the second end towards the first end, wherein the dimensions of the recess are adapted to the average wall thickness of the medical devices to be coupled to the second connection device. The aforementioned continuously tapered design of the annular recess has the advantage that medical devices with tubular structures, without a special connection system and with different wall thicknesses, can be coupled directly to the connecting device via the second connection device. During coupling, the tubular wall is inserted into the recess until the wall is clamped between the boundary wall and the outer wall. At the same time, a seal is achieved by the clamping.
[0030] In a particularly preferred embodiment, it can be provided that the dimension of the first recess is adapted to an outer diameter of the gastric calibration tube to be coupled.
[0031] Preferably, the first recess is designed for the coupling of gastric calibration tubes with an outer diameter in the range of approximately 30 to 45 Fr (French).
[0032] According to a further preferred embodiment, the dimension of the first recess is adapted for coupling a calibration hose with an outer diameter of 32, 34, 36, 38 or 40 Fr (French).
[0033] The term "French," abbreviated "Fr," refers to the outer diameter of tubular structures, such as cannulas or calibration tubes. Three French correspond exactly to one millimeter, or 1 Fr = 1 / 3 mm. The Fr number is therefore always three times the outer diameter in millimeters. In French-speaking countries, the term "Charriere," abbreviated "Ch," is used synonymously with the term "French." In the US, the term "Gauge," abbreviated "G," is also used for the outer diameter of tubular structures, although this does not correspond to the measurements in Charrière or French.
[0034] The table below shows the basic relationship between the different measurement scales: French [ ] Gauge [ ] Außendurchmesser [mm] 1 29 0,33 2 23 0,635 3 19 1,067 4 18 1,27 5 16 1,651 10 10 3,404
[0035] In a circular-cylindrical design of the connecting device, the first recess can be designed as an inner cone, wherein the inner cone has a maximum opening diameter in the region of the second end of the connecting device and tapers in the direction of the first end to a second minimum diameter.
[0036] It can be provided that the first recess comprises at least two adjoining, respectively tapered steps from the first end towards the second end for receiving gastric calibration tubes with different mean diameters, wherein the steps have different starting and ending diameters and wherein the respective mean diameter of the steps continuously reduces from the first end towards the second end.
[0037] The stepped design of the first recess with different mean diameters allows different gastric calibration tubes with different mean outer diameters to be coupled via the different steps of the first recess.
[0038] In a further preferred embodiment, it can be provided that the first recess comprises a bevelled chamfer at the first end.
[0039] The bevel has a surface that slopes from the outside inward from the second end toward the first end. The bevel has the advantage that the gastric calibration tubes, which are connected via the first recess, can be inserted into the first recess more easily. The bevel centers the calibration tube when inserted into the first recess, preventing it from becoming jammed or tilted when inserted into the recess.
[0040] It can further be provided that chamfers are arranged in the area of the opening diameters of the tapered steps of the first recess.
[0041] According to the invention, a medical system comprises a connecting device for calibration hoses, as well as a gastric calibration hose, wherein the calibration hose has at least one hose longitudinal axis, a first and an opposite second hose end and a hose wall which encloses a hollow space, wherein a closing element which delimits the hollow space is arranged at the second hose end, wherein the closing element has at least one passage extending substantially parallel to the hose longitudinal axis through the closing element, wherein the first hose end is coupled to the connecting device via the first connection device.
[0042] According to the invention, a gastric calibration tube can have at least one tube longitudinal axis, a first and an opposite second tube end and a tube wall, wherein the tube wall encloses a cavity, wherein a closing element delimiting the cavity is arranged at the second tube end, wherein the closing element has at least one passage extending substantially parallel to the tube longitudinal axis through the closing element and / or an opening.
[0043] The first hose end can essentially be formed by a hose opening, which in turn is formed only by the end of the hose path, such that the cavity is formed at the first end.
[0044] The gastric calibration tube may preferably have a length in the range of approximately 1,000 mm to 1,300 mm.
[0045] The aforementioned medical system has the advantage that a variety of different medical devices with different geometries can be connected to the gastric calibration tube.
[0046] In an advantageous embodiment, the tube wall can include multiple openings in the region of the second tube end. These multiple openings reduce or even completely prevent the formation of a blockage when negative pressure is generated in the cavity of the calibrator tube. The large number of openings distributes the applied negative pressure across a large number of openings, significantly reducing the suction force acting on any body tissue that may be drawn into the region of the openings, and thus the risk of injury.
[0047] Preferably, the tube wall of the gastric calibration tube can have an outer diameter in the range of approximately 30 to 45 Fr (French).
[0048] According to a further preferred embodiment, the calibration tube has a tube wall with an outer diameter of 32, 34, 36, 38, or 40 Fr (French). The tube wall of the gastric calibration tube can be provided with a colored stripe along the tube's longitudinal axis, with the color of the stripe differing for different outer diameters. The color coding has the advantage of preventing confusion regarding the size of the calibration tubes.
[0049] The tube wall can be provided with length markings along its longitudinal axis. These length markings allow the attending physician or anesthesiologist to determine which portion of the tube has already been inserted into the patient's body.
[0050] The end element can be provided with a rounded and / or hemispherical surface at its end facing away from the tube. The rounded and / or hemispherical surface has the advantage that when the gastric calibration tube is inserted, it adapts more easily to the course of the body orifices, largely preventing kinking. Furthermore, the hemispherical surface largely prevents injury to the body's own tissue if the end element strikes and / or bumps against a body wall.
[0051] Furthermore, it can preferably be provided that the closing element is made of a flexible plastic material, such as silicone.
[0052] The end element can be made of a material that has a lower stiffness than the tube wall of the gastric calibration tube. In particular, the end element can also have a lower Shore hardness than the tube wall of the gastric calibration tube.
[0053] The manufacture of the closure element from a flexible plastic material has the advantage that, when the gastric calibration tube is advanced and thus moves forward into the body's cavities, injury to the body wall is largely avoided if the closure element hits and / or collides with a body wall. The design of the closure element from the flexible plastic material also has the advantage that the closure element functions as a type of buffer for the gastric calibration tube. If the closure element collides with the body's own tissue, the closure element absorbs the kinetic energy of the gastric calibration tube by deforming the flexible closure element.
[0054] In a further preferred embodiment, the closure element can be at least partially comprised of a radiopaque material. Configuring the closure element with a radiopaque material has the advantage that the position of the gastric calibration tube within the body can be clearly identified using X-ray imaging techniques. The attending physician can then clearly determine whether the gastric calibration tube has been inserted into the desired position within the body. The closure element can, for example, contain barium sulfate.
[0055] Furthermore, it can be provided that the end element is at least partially colored blue.
[0056] The blue-colored end element can be clearly identified in the body of the patient being treated using minimally invasive imaging techniques, such as video endoscopy, since no blue-colored objects exist in the human body.
[0057] In a particularly preferred embodiment, it can be provided that the gastric calibration tube comprises at least one additional channel, wherein the at least one additional channel encloses a volume and runs substantially parallel to the tube longitudinal axis, wherein a first end of the at least one additional channel ends in the region of the first tube end on the outer tube wall and wherein a second end of the at least one additional channel opens into the closure element.
[0058] The volume enclosed by the at least one additional channel is completely sealed from the cavity of the gastric calibration tube in such a way that there is no fluid connection between the volume of the additional channel and the cavity of the gastric calibration tube.
[0059] It can be provided that the at least one additional channel is arranged as an additional hose inside and / or outside the calibration hose. In particular, it can be provided that the additional channel is arranged in the region of the inner wall of the calibration hose. In a particularly preferred embodiment, it can be provided that the at least one additional channel is formed integrally with the hose wall of the calibration hose, such that the cavity of the calibration hose is subdivided into several cavities by inserting several subdividing turns into the calibration hose.
[0060] It can be provided that a light-guiding device is arranged in at least one additional channel, wherein a light entry device is designed on the light-guiding device in the region of the first hose end and wherein the light-guiding device runs in the second hose end through the connection element to the end facing away from the hose, where a light exit device is arranged.
[0061] The provision of the light guide device offers the advantage that light waves can be guided into the area of the closing element via the guide device in such a way that the area in front of the closing element of the gastric calibration tube can be illuminated, wherein the light rays are emitted by the light exit device in the area of the closing element.
[0062] In the following, different embodiments of the invention are explained in more detail with reference to the drawings.
[0063] They show: Figure 1: a sectional view of an embodiment of the connecting device for gastric calibration tubes; Figure 2: a longitudinal section through a connecting device with a large syringe coupled; Figure 2b: a sectional view of a connecting device with a small syringe coupled; Figure 2c: a sectional view of a connecting device with a fingertip coupled; Figure 3: a sectional view of a medical system comprising a gastric calibration tube coupled to a connecting device; Figure 4: a sectional view of another embodiment of a gastric calibration tube.
[0064] The illustrated connecting device (1) for gastric calibration tubes (2) comprises a first end (3) and an opposite second end (5), wherein a first connection device (7) is formed at the first end (3) and a second connection device (9) is formed at the second end (5). The first and second connection devices (7, 9) are connected to one another via a fluid channel (11). The first connection device (7) has a first tapered recess (71) into which gastric calibration tubes (2) can be inserted for fluidic coupling. Furthermore, the illustrated embodiment of a connecting device (1) has a second connection device (9) for coupling different medical devices (4), which second connection device has a second tapered recess (91) and a tapered recess (93) surrounding the second recess (91) in an annular manner.Different medical devices (4) can be optionally inserted and coupled into the second tapered recess (91) or alternatively into the tapered cutout (93) for fluidic coupling.
[0065] In the illustrated embodiment, the connecting device is cylindrical or circular-cylindrical in shape, with a longitudinal axis (13) of the connecting device (1).
[0066] In the illustrated embodiment, the first recess (71) tapers from the region of the first end (3) towards the second end (5), and the second recess (91) tapers from the region of the second end (5) towards the first end (3). Furthermore, the first tapered recess (71) and the second tapered recess (91) in the illustrated embodiment of the connecting device (1) are designed such that they each form part of the fluid channel (11). In particular, the second tapered recess (91) opens directly into the first tapered recess (71), with a step (76) being formed due to the different diameters.
[0067] In the illustrated embodiment, a boundary wall (95) and an outer wall (97) surrounding the recess (93) are formed between the second depression (91) and the recess (93). As shown in the illustrated embodiment, the outer wall (97) can be designed to be retracted relative to the boundary wall (95) in the direction of the first end (3), such that the boundary wall (95) forms the second end (5) of the connecting device (1).
[0068] Furthermore, in the illustrated embodiment of the connecting device (1), it is provided that the outer diameter (99) of the boundary wall (95) increases continuously from the region of the second end (5) towards the first end (3). Furthermore, the boundary wall (95) is bevelled in the region of the second end (5) with respect to the longitudinal axis (13). Due to the bevelled embodiment of the boundary wall (95), an oval opening for the second connecting device (9) is formed in the region of the second end (5), such that medical devices (4) to be coupled via the recess (91) can be inserted into the recess (91) more easily.
[0069] The annular recess (93) is designed to taper continuously from the region of the second end (5) towards the first end. The first depression (71) comprises, from the region of the first end (3) towards the second end (5), three adjoining, respectively tapered steps (73) for accommodating gastric calibration tubes (2) with different average diameters (75m). The three steps (73) shown each have different starting diameters (75a) and end diameters (75e). The respective average diameter (75m) of the three steps (73) decreases gradually from the first end (3) towards the second end (5).
[0070] The illustrated first recess (7) has a bevelled chamfer (77) in the region of the first end (3), and two bevelled chamfers (77) are also formed at the two transitions of the three steps (73).
[0071] In the Figur 2a The connecting device (1) is shown with a syringe device (4a) coupled via the tapered recess (93) of the second connecting device (9) as an example of a medical device (4) to be coupled. Figur 2a can be removed, the medical device (4) to be coupled, or in particular the syringe device (4a) shown, has dimensions such that the side wall of the connection cone (44) of the syringe device (4a) is received in the recess (93) of the connecting device (1). To couple the syringe device (4a) to the connecting device (1), the boundary wall (95) is first introduced into the syringe opening (46). Subsequently, the syringe device (4a) is moved towards one another essentially along the longitudinal axis (13) of the connecting device (1), and the connecting device (13) is moved towards one another in such a way that the outer wall (45) of the connection cone (44) initially comes into contact with the outer wall (97) surrounding the recess (93). In this case, the inner wall (47) of the connecting cone (44) of the syringe device (4a) and the boundary wall (95) do not come into contact at the second end (5) of the boundary wall (95).Only in the further course of the outer wall (95) in the direction of the first end (3) does the outer diameter (99) of the outer wall (95) increase, such that in the area of the annular recess (93) the inner wall (47) rests against the boundary wall (95).
[0072] The wall of the connecting cone (44) of the syringe device (4a) can, as shown in the Fig. 2a As shown, it is preferably clamped in the tapered recess (93) between the boundary wall (95) and the outer wall (97). By clamping the front region of the connecting cone (44) on both sides, the latter can be locally elastically deformed, thereby achieving an additional seal between the syringe device (4a) and the connecting device (1).
[0073] In the Figur 2b the connecting device (1) is coupled to a second, in comparison to the , Fig. 2a smaller syringe device (4b). The second syringe device (4b) has significantly smaller dimensions than the first syringe device (4a), particularly in the area of the connecting cone (44). To couple the syringe device (4b) to the connecting device (1), the connecting cone (44) of the syringe device (4b) is inserted into the second tapered recess (91), whereby the outer wall (45) finally comes into contact with the boundary wall (95) delimiting the first tapered recess (71). The aforementioned contact of the outer wall (45) with the inner wall of the boundary wall (95) ensures a seal between the syringe device (4b) and the connecting device (1).
[0074] As the Figur 2c can be removed, it is also possible to couple a so-called fingertip (4c) to the connecting device (1) via the first tapered recess (71). The fingertip (4c) has a fluid channel (11) with two opposing connection cones (44), as well as a lateral opening (48) of the fluid channel (11). The lateral opening (48) is in the Figur 2c sealed by a closure (49). The fingertip (4c) is connected to the Fig. 2c The coupling is carried out analogously to the way already described with regard to Fig. 2b described.
[0075] In the Figur 3 a medical system (6) is shown which comprises a connecting device (1) and a gastric calibration tube (2). The gastric calibration tube (2) has a longitudinal tube axis (21), a first and opposite second tube end (22, 23), and a tube wall (24) which encloses a cavity (25). At the second tube end (23), a closing element (26) delimiting the cavity (25) is arranged, wherein the closing element (26) comprises a passage (27) extending essentially parallel to the longitudinal tube axis (21) and through the closing element (26). The first tube end (22) of the calibration tube (1) is coupled to the connecting device (1) via the first connection device (7). In the illustrated embodiment, the tube wall (24) of the calibration tube (2) comprises a plurality of openings (241) in the region of the second tube end (23).
[0076] The end element (26) has a rounded surface (262) at its end (261) facing away from the hose.
[0077] Fig. 4 shows a schematic diagram of another embodiment of a gastric calibration tube (2) in a sectional view. The gastric calibration tube (2) is basically formed by a tube wall (24) with a first tube end (22) and an opposite second tube end (23), to which a closing element (26) is attached. The tube wall (24), together with the closing element (26), delimits a cavity (25), wherein the cavity (25) is in fluid communication with its surroundings via the three openings (241) and the passage (27) formed in the closing element (26). At the first tube end (22), the tube wall (24) is designed such that a connecting device (1) (not shown) can be coupled, such that the calibration tube (2) together with the connecting device (1) can form a medical system (1).In the illustrated embodiment, the hose wall (24) is double-walled except for the area of the first hose end (22), so that two additional channels (28) are formed. The two additional channels are each closed off by the closure element (26) in the area of the second hose end (23) and are led outward through openings in the hose wall (24) in the area of the first hose end (22). Thus, there is no fluid connection between the additional channels (28) and the cavity (25).
[0078] In the Figur 4In the first additional channel (28) shown on the left, a cable pulling device (14) is guided so as to be longitudinally displaceable relative to the hose wall (24) via a plurality of cable pulling guides (141) and is connected to the closing element (26) in the region of the latter. In the region of the first hose end (22), the cable pulling device (14) is guided outwards via an opening in the hose wall (24), where a winding device (142) is arranged. By means of the winding device (142), it is possible to wind up the cable pulling device (14) and thus shorten the portion of the cable pulling device (14) located within the additional channel (28). Due to the flexibility of the hose wall (24), the hose (2) bends when the cable pulling device (14) is wound onto the winding device (142).A light-guiding device (8) is guided in the second additional channel (28), which extends through the closing element (26) in the region of the second hose end (23), wherein a light exit device (82) is formed at the end (261) of the closing element (26) facing away from the hose. The opposite end of the light-guiding device (8) is in turn guided outwards via the hose wall (24) in the region of the first hose end (22), where a light entry device (81) is arranged on the light-guiding device (8). By means of a light source (83), light waves can be coupled into the light-guiding device (8) via the light entry device (81) and guided along the hose longitudinal axis (21), through the additional channel (28) and through the closing element (26), to the light exit device (82). The light waves are coupled out at the light exit device (82) and illuminate the area in front of the second hose end (23).
