Description

[0001] The present application relates to sprayable cosmetic compositions for treating keratin fibers, which contain fibers in addition to a solvent and a propellant. These compositions are suitable for a variety of cosmetic purposes, including cleaning, refreshing, and deodorizing keratin fibers.

[0002] Furthermore, the application relates to the cosmetic use of these agents and hair cosmetic processes using these agents.

[0003] Today, an attractive hairstyle is generally considered an essential part of a well-groomed appearance. A key aspect of hair care is refreshing and cleansing the hair.

[0004] In the field of cleansing, refreshing, and deodorizing keratin-containing fibers, the spray application of solid cosmetic active ingredients plays a certain role. These active ingredients are usually starch or starch derivatives, which, due to their fat-absorbing properties, are applied to the hair as an essential ingredient in dry shampoos and then left on or brushed out.

[0005] As with other spray applications, the spray application of dry shampoos containing solids presents the technical challenge of ensuring a uniform application of the spray cosmetic. To solve this problem, specific designs of the spray device, including the spray head, have been described in the past.

[0006] From JP H11 158034 A, aerosol preparations containing microfibers are known that are sprayed onto the hair to give it more "thickness".

[0007] US 2012 / 282190 A discloses dry shampoo compositions comprising an alcohol and a propellant.

[0008] The object of the present invention was to provide sprayable hair cosmetics that are distinguished from conventional preparations by improved application properties, in particular an improved spray pattern. It has been shown that this object can be achieved by adding fibers to the sprayable cosmetic preparations.

[0009] The present invention provides: Amended description 1. A cosmetic agent comprising a) a cosmetic composition according to any one of points 1 to 12 b) an aerosol dispenser. 15. Use of a cosmetic composition according to any one of points 1 to 12 for cleaning keratin fibers.

[0010] The cosmetic composition contains fibers as its first essential ingredient. The addition of these fibers has an unexpected impact on the application properties of the sprayable hair cosmetic. The spray pattern and application of the sprayed cosmetic become more uniform. In a standardized test setup, the addition of the fibers also results in a surprising increase in the sprayed area at the same pressure in the spray device and the same distance from the surface to be sprayed.

[0011] Fibers are stretched, flexible structures made of fiber material with a length-to-diameter ratio above 3:1, preferably above 5:1, and especially above 10:1. Fibers cannot absorb compressive forces in the longitudinal direction, but only tensile forces.

[0012] The preferred fiber lengths range from 1.0 to 200 µm, preferably from 2.0 to 150 µm, and especially from 5.0 to 100 µm. However, longer fibers, such as fibers with a length of more than 200 µm or more than 300 µm, can also be used.

[0013] The fiber material can be of natural origin. Natural fibers are all fibers obtained from plant, animal, or mineral material without any chemical modification.

[0014] Plant fibers occur in plants as vascular bundles in the stem, trunk, bark, or as seed processes. Plant fibers generally consist predominantly of cellulose. Such fibers are collectively referred to as cellulose fibers.

[0015] A common classification of plant fibers is divided into seed fibers, bast fibers, leaf fibers, and fruit fibers. Seed fibers include, for example, cotton fibers, kapok, akon, and poplar fluff. Bast fibers include, among others, bamboo fibers, nettle fibers, hemp fibers, jute, and flax fibers. Sisal, in contrast, belongs to the leaf fiber group, while coconut fibers belong to the fruit fiber group.

[0016] Animal fibers can be divided into fibers derived from spinning glands and fibers derived from hair follicles. Silk, for example, is a spinneret fiber. Fibers derived from hair follicles include wool, alpaca, camel hair, angora, cashmere, mohair, yak hair, goat hair, cattle hair, and horsehair.

[0017] The use of cellulose fibers, especially cotton fibers, flax fibers, and kapok fibers, is particularly preferred. Animal fibers from the group of silk fibers, cashmere fibers, and wool fibers are also preferred. The use of cellulose fibers is especially preferred.

[0018] Weight proportions of the fibers in the total weight of the cosmetic composition of 0.1 to 2.0 wt.%, preferably 0.1 to 1.0 wt.% and in particular 0.1 to 0.5 wt.% have proven particularly advantageous for the technical and cosmetic effect.

[0019] The cosmetic compositions contain ethanol as their second essential ingredient. The proportion of ethanol in the total weight of the cosmetic composition is preferably 7.0 to 17% by weight, more preferably 9.0 to 15% by weight, and most preferably 10 to 14% by weight. The fibers are suspended in the ethanol.

[0020] A third essential component of cosmetic compositions is the propellant. It has proven particularly advantageous, both cosmetically and technically, for the propellant to make up 82 to 92% by weight, preferably 84 to 90% by weight, of the total weight of the composition.

[0021] Bevorzugte Treibmittel (Treibgase) sind ausgewählt aus Propan, Propen, n-Butan, iso-Butan, isoButen, n-Pentan, Penten, iso-Pentan, iso-Penten, Methan, Ethan, Dimethylether, Stickstoff, Luft, Sauerstoff, Lachgas, Dichlorfluormethan, Chlordifluormethan, Chlorfluormethan, 1,1,2,2-Tetrachlor-1-fluorethan, 1,1,1,2-Tetrachlor-2-fluorethan, 1,2,2-Trichlor-1,1-difluorethan, 1,1,2-Trichlor-1,2-difluorethan, 1,1,1-Trichlor-2,2-difluorethan, 2,2-Dichlor-1,1,1-trifluorethan, 1,2-Dichlor-1,1,2-trifluorethan, 2-Chlor-1,1,1,2-tetrafluorethan, 1-Chlor-1,1,2,2-tetrafluorethan, 1,1,2-Trichlor-2-fluorethan, 1,2-Dichlor-1,2-difluorethan, 1,2-Dichlor-1,1-difluorethan, 1-Chlor-1,2,2-trifluorethan, 2-Chlor-1,1,1-trifluorethan, 1-Chlor-1,1,2-trifluorethan, 1,2-Dichlor-1-fluorethan, 1,1-Dichlor-1-fluorethan, 2-Chlor-1,1-difluorethan, 1-Chlor-1,1-difluorethan, 1-Chlor-2-fluorethan, 1-Chlor-1-fluorethan, 2-Chlor-1,1-difluorethen, 1,1,1,3-Tetrafluorethan, Heptafluoro-n-propan, Perfluorethan,Monochlorodifluoromethane, 1,1-difluoroethane, both individually and in combination.

[0024] Particularly preferred cosmetic compositions contain at least one coloring compound from the group of dyes and / or pigments. The cosmetic compositions contain (d) 0 to 10 wt% dye(s) and / or (e) 0 to 10 wt% pigment(s), provided that the sum of the amounts of ingredients (d) and (e) is 0.0001 to 10% by weight.

[0025] In other words, the cosmetic compositions may contain 0% by weight of dyes (in which case at least one pigment must be present in an amount of at least 0.0001% by weight), but the dye content may also be 10% by weight (in which case no pigment may be present). Regardless of whether only one dye, several dyes, only one pigment, several pigments, one dye and several pigments, several dyes and one pigment, several dyes and several pigments are used, the total amount of all dyes and pigments (also referred to as the total amount of coloring components) in the cosmetic composition, based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition, is 0.0001 to 10% by weight.

[0026] Preferred cosmetic compositions are characterized in that they contain 0.0001 to 10 wt.%, preferably 0.01 to 9.5 wt.%, more preferably 0.05 to 9 wt.%, even more preferably 0.1 to 8.5 wt.% and in particular 0.25 to 8 wt.%, in each case based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition, of dye(s).

[0027] Dyes are colorants, i.e. color-giving substances that, unlike pigments, are soluble in the application medium (such as water, oils or other solvents).

[0028] Depending on the desired color, color intensity, and fastness properties of the resulting coloration, a dye or a mixture of dyes can be selected. All commercially available dyes commonly used in the cosmetics field can be readily used within the scope of the present invention.

[0029] Likewise preferred cosmetic compositions are characterized in that they contain 0.0001 to 10 wt.%, preferably 0.01 to 9.5 wt.%, more preferably 0.05 to 9 wt.%, even more preferably 0.1 to 8.5 wt.% and in particular 0.25 to 8 wt.%, in each case based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition, of pigment(s).

[0030] In principle, all types of water-insoluble pigments are suitable, for example, natural inorganic pigments (also known as mineral pigments). These pigments predominantly contain sulfides and oxides. Examples of such pigments are ochre (Fe(OOH); Pigment Yellow 43), burnt sienna (Fe2O3; Pigment Red 102), umber (Fe2O3 x MnO2; Pigment Brown 7:x), cinnabar (β-HgS, PR 106), lapis lazuli (ultramarine, Na6Al6Si6O24 x Na2Sn; Pigment Blue 29), azurite (basic copper carbonate, Cu3[OH / CO3]2; PB 30), green earth (FeO-containing silicate; Pigment Green 23), malachite (Cu2[(OH)2, CO3]) and carbon black (carbon (graphite), Pigment Black 9). However, the use of synthetic inorganic pigments has proven advantageous in terms of avoiding undesirable visible residues or greying or providing water-resistant temporary colouring of the fibres.Synthetic inorganic pigments are produced, for example, by chemical and / or physical transformation (digestion, precipitation, annealing). These include, in particular, . White pigments (titanium dioxide (TiO 2 ), Pigment White PW 6; zinc sulfide (ZnS), PW 7; zinc oxide (ZnO), PW 4; antimony white (Sb 2 O 3 ), PW 11; lithopone (ZnS / BaSO 4 ), PW 5; lead white (2PbCO 3 x Pb(OH) 2 ), PW 1), subordinate white fillers (calcium carbonate, PW 18; talc, PW 26 and barium sulfate, PW 21); Black pigments (manganese black, spinel black and pigment blacks (graphite carbon); luster pigments (absorption pigments, metallic pigments or metallic effect pigments and pearlescent pigments) and inorganic colored pigments (iron oxide pigments, iron blue pigments, ultramarine pigments and lead chromate pigments, chromium oxide pigments, cadmium pigments and bismuth vanadate pigments, which are less suitable due to their toxicological properties).

[0031] Preferred synthetic inorganic pigments are metallic pigments or metallic effect pigments made of powdered metals or metal alloys, such as aluminum bronzes (metal: Al), gold bronzes (metal: Cu, Cu-Al or Cu-Zn alloy), silver bronzes (metal: Cu-Zn-Ni), fire-dyed bronzes (metal: oxidized Cu-Zn) and patent bronzes (metal: Cu-Zn-(Ni) + dye).

[0032] Other preferred synthetic inorganic pigments are pearlescent pigments, which consist of multiple layers with different refractive indices. Examples of such pearlescent pigments are magnesium stearate, zinc stearate, and lithium stearate, or ethylene glycol distearate or polyethylene terephthalate, as well as pearlescent pigments that consist essentially of mica, titanium dioxide (titanium dioxide mica), bismuth chloride oxide, or guanine, and can also be coated with colored oxide layers (e.g., iron oxides or chromium oxides). Mica-based and mica / metal oxide-based pearlescent pigments are particularly preferred pearlescent pigments. Micas belong to the group of layered silicates. The most important representatives of these silicates are muscovite, phlogopite, paragonite, biotite, lepidolite, and margarite. To produce pearlescent pigments in combination with metal oxides, the mica, predominantly muscovite or phlogopite, is coated with a metal oxide.Suitable metal oxides include TiO 2 , Cr 2 O 3 , and Fe 2 O 3 . By appropriate coating, interference pigments and colored luster pigments are obtained as preferred pearlescent pigments according to the invention. These pearlescent pigment types exhibit not only a glittering optical effect but also color effects. Furthermore, the pearlescent pigments usable according to the invention can additionally contain a color pigment that is not derived from a metal oxide.

[0033] Particularly preferred pearlescent pigments are pigments marketed by Merck under the trade name Colorona ®<, whereby the pigments Colorona ®< red-brown (47-57 wt.% Muscovite Mica (KH 2 (AlSiO 4 ) 3 ), 43-50 wt.% Fe 2 O 3 (INCI: Iron Oxides CI 77491), <3 wt.% TiO 2 (INCI: Titanium Dioxide CI 77891), Colorona ®< Blackstar Blue (39-47 wt.% Muscovite Mica (KH 2 (AlSiO 4 ) 3 ), 53-61 wt.% Fe 3 O 4 (INCI: Iron Oxides CI 77499)), Colorona ®< Siena Fine (35-45 wt.% Muscovite Mica (KH 2 (AlSiO 4 ) 3 ), 55-65 wt.% Fe 2 O 3 (INCI: Iron Oxides CI 77491)), Colorona ®< Aboriginal Amber (50-62 wt.% Muscovite Mica (KH 2 (AlSiO 4 ) 3 ), 36-44 wt.% Fe3O4 (INCI: Iron Oxides CI 77499), 2-6 wt.% TiO 2 (INCI: Titanium Dioxide CI 77891)), Colorona ®< Patagonian Purple (42-54 wt.% Muscovite Mica (KH 2 (AlSiO 4 ) 3 ), 26-32 wt.% Fe 2 O 3 (INCI: Iron Oxides CI 77491), 18-22 wt.% TiO 2 (INCI: Titanium Dioxide CI 77891), 2-4 wt.% Prussian Blue (INCI: Ferric Ferrocyanide CI 77510)), Colorona ®< Chameleon (40-50 wt.% Muscovite Mica (KH 2 (AlSiO 4 ) 3 ), 50-60 wt.% Fe 2 O 3 (INCI: Iron Oxides CI 77491)) and Silk ®< Mica (>98 wt.% Muscovite Mica (KH 2 (AlSiO 4 ) 3 )) are particularly preferred.

[0034] One group of particularly preferred pigments is the color-imparting synthetic iron oxides. Particularly preferred representatives of this substance class are Pigment Brown 6 (CI No. 77491), Pigment Red 101 (CI No. 77491), Pigment Yellow 42 (CI No. 77492), Pigment Black 11 (CI No. 77499), and mixtures of these pigments.

[0035] Pigments which are particularly preferred are characterized by good sprayability in the compositions according to the invention, a homogeneous spray pattern and an extremely low tendency to clog the spray nozzles ("clogging"). Here, extremely preferred cosmetic compositions are characterized in that they contain at least one pigment from the group CI12490, CI14700, CI14720, CI115510, CI15985, CI45380, CI47005, CI60730, CI61565, CI73360, CI74160, CI77007, CI77019, CI77288, CI77289, CI77491, CI77492, wherein the total amount of pigment(s) from this group is 0.0001 to 10 wt.%, preferably 0.01 to 9.5 wt.%, more preferably 0.05 to 9 wt.%, even more preferably 0.1 to 8.5 wt.% and in particular 0.25 to 8 wt.%, in each case based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition.

[0036] Preferred cosmetic compositions contain at least one starch compound as a further ingredient. The term "starch" refers to a reserve carbohydrate that is stored by many plants in the form of starch granules, typically 1 to 200 µm in size, in various parts of the plant, e.g., tubers or roots, grain seeds, fruits, and pith.

[0037] Preferably, the starch compound is present as solid particles dispersed in the ethanol. "Solid particles" are defined as solids present in particulate form at 20°C and 1013.25 mbar.

[0038] A starch compound preferably used according to the invention is selected from at least one—optionally modified—polycondensation product of D-glucose obtained from starch from potatoes, corn, rice, peas, acorns, chestnuts, barley, wheat, bananas, sago, millet, sorghum, oats, barley, rye, beans, sweet potato, arrowroot, or cassava. The composition according to the invention particularly preferably contains at least one starch compound that is or is derived from tapioca starch, potato starch, corn starch, or rice starch. Mixtures of the aforementioned starch compounds are also encompassed by the invention.

[0039] The use of rice starch is particularly preferred. Starch compounds based on rice starch are available, for example, under the name Remy DR KA (INCI name: Oryza Sativa (Rice) Starch, CAS number 9005-25-8) from Bene O Remy Industries or under the name Rice Starch DSA 7 (INCI name: Oryza Sativa (Rice) Starch, Cetrimonium Chloride; CAS number 9005-25-8) from Agrana.

[0040] In terms of purification performance, the use of native and / or physically modified rice starch has proven particularly advantageous. Native starch is understood to be a starch that is isolated from starch-containing plants and which has been neither physically nor chemically modified after isolation and purification. In contrast, physically modified starch is understood to be a starch that has been subjected to at least one physical modification after isolation. Physical modification in this case means modification by applying pressure and / or heat and / or light. However, modification by means of chemical and enzymatic reactions, such as hydrolysis of the starch, does not fall under the term physical modification. A preferred physical modification is the application of heat, in particular cooking the native starch.Preferred embodiments of the present invention are therefore characterized in that the compositions contain at least one starch selected from chemically and / or physically modified rice starches, in particular physically modified rice starch. The use of native and / or physically modified rice starches in combination with dyes and / or pigments achieves particularly high adhesion of the dyes and / or pigments to the starch, thus enabling not only excellent cleaning performance but also long-lasting temporary hair coloring.

[0041] This makes it possible and preferable to use pre-colored and / or pre-pigmented starches, which can be sprayed excellently with the cosmetic compositions. Particularly preferred cosmetic compositions are therefore characterized by containing the ingredient (d) and / or (e) in the form of a starch-dye compound and / or starch-pigment compound, preferably in the form of colored and / or pigmented rice starch.

[0042] It has also been found that the composition of the starch particles themselves has proven relevant for the cosmetic effect. Therefore, preferably used particles have a certain proportion of native and / or physically modified starch, in particular rice starch. It is therefore preferred if the starch-dye compound and / or starch-pigment compound contains at least one starch, in particular a physically modified rice starch, in a total amount of 70 to 96 wt. %, in particular 80 to 94 wt. %, in each case based on the total weight of the particle (compound). The use of particles containing a high weight proportion of physically modified rice starch leads to particularly homogeneous spray patterns and preferential adhesion of the color to the keratin fibers.

[0043] In addition to such compounds of starch and coloring substances, or instead of them, the fibers of the cosmetic compositions can naturally also be pre-colored and / or pre-pigmented. Cosmetic compositions containing ingredients (a) and (d) and / or (a) and (e) in the form of a fiber-dye compound or fiber-pigment compound, preferably in the form of colored and / or pigmented fibers, are particularly preferred.

[0044] The cosmetic effect and applicability of the cosmetic product can be advantageously influenced by the starch content. Preferred cosmetic compositions are therefore characterized in that they comprise, based on their total weight, 1.0 to 10 wt.%, preferably 2.0 to 6.0 wt.%, and in particular 3.0 to 5.0 wt.% of a starch compound.

[0046] The fibers described above as the first essential component of cosmetic compositions can be modified in various ways. Such modifications concern, for example, the length of the fibers described above or their length-to-diameter ratio.

[0047] Another possibility to influence the technical and cosmetic properties of the compositions is to modify the surface properties of the fibers used.

[0048] In a first preferred embodiment, hydrophobicized fibers of natural origin are used. The hydrophobic treatment (impregnation) renders the fiber water-repellent. Suitable hydrophobic agents include paraffins or waxes, as well as film-forming silicones.

[0049] Depending on the intended use of the cosmetic composition, it may be advantageous for the fibers to have a certain oil absorption capacity. This oil absorption capacity can be influenced by the previously described hydrophobicization of the fibers. Preference is given to the use of hydrophobic or non-hydrophobic fibers with an oil absorption capacity above 0.2 g of jojoba oil per gram of fiber. Particular preference is given to the use of fibers with an oil absorption capacity (20°C) of 0.2 to 0.8 g of jojoba oil / g, preferably 0.3 to 0.7 g of jojoba oil / g, and particularly preferably 0.4 to 0.6 g of jojoba oil / g.

[0050] The hydrophobic treatment of fibers improves, among other things, their sebum absorption capacity. Such fibers are therefore used particularly in cleansing cosmetic compositions.

[0051] For example, to enable a uniform suspension of the fibers in the cosmetic composition or to enhance the cosmetic effect of the composition, the compositions may comprise a surfactant as a further optional ingredient. The use of nonionic or cationic surfactants is preferred.

[0052] Preferred cationic surfactants are selected from the group of quaternary ammonium compounds. Preferred quaternary ammonium compounds are ammonium halides, especially chlorides and bromides, such as alkyltrimethylammonium chlorides, dialkyldimethylammonium chlorides, and trialkylmethylammonium chlorides, e.g.

[0053] Cetyltrimethylammonium chloride, stearyltrimethylammonium chloride, distearyldimethylammonium chloride, lauryldimethylammonium chloride, lauryldimethylbenzylammonium chloride, and tricetylmethylammonium chloride, as well as the imidazolium compounds known under the INCI names Quaternium-27 and Quaternium-83. Cetyltrimethylammonium chloride is particularly preferred.

[0054] The weight proportion of the surfactant in the total weight of the cosmetic composition is preferably 0.05 to 2.0 wt.%, preferably 0.1 to 1.5 wt.% and in particular 0.2 to 1.0 wt.%.

[0055] The composition of some other preferred cosmetic compositions can be found in the following overview 3 (data in wt.% based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition). formula 1 Formula 2 Formula 3 Formula 4 Formula 5 hydrophobic fiber of natural origin 0.1 to 5.0 0.1 to 2.0 0.1 to 2.0 0.1 to 1.0 0.1 to 0.5 Ethanol 5.0 to 19 5.0 to 19 7.0 to 17 9.0 to 15 9.0 to 14 Propellant 80 to 94 80 to 94 80 to 92 80 to 90 80 to 90 Optional additives to 100 to 100 to 100 to 100 to 100 Formula 6 Formula 7 Formula 8 Formula 9 Formula 10 hydrophobic cellulose fiber 0.1 to 5.0 0.1 to 2.0 0.1 to 2.0 0.1 to 1.0 0.1 to 0.5 Ethanol 5.0 to 19 5.0 to 19 7.0 to 17 9.0 to 15 9.0 to 14 Propellant 80 to 94 80 to 94 80 to 92 80 to 90 80 to 90 Optional additives to 100 to 100 to 100 to 100 to 100 Formula 11 Formula 12 Formula 13 Formula 14 Formula 15 hydrophobic fiber of natural origin with a fiber length between 1.0 and 200 µm 0.1 to 5.0 0.1 to 2.0 0.1 to 2.0 0.1 to 1.0 0.1 to 0.5 Ethanol 5.0 to 19 5.0 to 19 7.0 to 17 9.0 to 15 9.0 to 14 Propellant 80 to 94 80 to 94 80 to 92 80 to 90 80 to 90 Optional additives to 100 to 100 to 100 to 100 to 100 Formula 16 Formula 17 Formula 18 Formula 19 Formula 20 hydrophobic cellulose fiber with a 0.1 to 5.0 0.1 to 2.0 0.1 to 2.0 0.1 to 1.0 0.1 to 0.5 Fiber length between 1.0 and 200 µm Ethanol 5.0 to 19 5.0 to 19 7.0 to 17 9.0 to 15 9.0 to 14 Propellant 80 to 94 80 to 94 80 to 92 80 to 90 80 to 90 Optional additives to 100 to 100 to 100 to 100 to 100 Formula 21 Formula 22 Formula 23 Formula 24 Formula 25 hydrophobic fiber of natural origin 0.1 to 5.0 0.1 to 2.0 0.1 to 2.0 0.1 to 1.0 0.1 to 0.5 starch compound 1.0 to 10 1.0 to 10 2.0 to 6.0 2.0 to 6.0 3.0 to 5.0 Ethanol 5.0 to 19 5.0 to 19 7.0 to 17 8.0 to 15 8.0 to 12 Propellant 78 to 92 78 to 90 78 to 88 78 to 88 78 to 88 Optional additives to 100 to 100 to 100 to 100 to 100 Formula 26 Formula 27 Formula 28 Formula 29 Formula 30 hydrophobic cellulose fiber 0.1 to 5.0 0.1 to 2.0 0.1 to 2.0 0.1 to 1.0 0.1 to 0.5 starch compound 1.0 to 10 1.0 to 10 2.0 to 6.0 2.0 to 6.0 3.0 to 5.0 Ethanol 5.0 to 19 5.0 to 19 7.0 to 17 8.0 to 15 8.0 to 12 Propellant 78 to 92 78 to 90 78 to 88 78 to 88 78 to 88 Optional additives to 100 to 100 to 100 to 100 to 100 Formula 31 Formula 32 Formula 33 Formula 34 Formula 35 hydrophobic fiber of natural origin with a fiber length between 1.0 and 200 µm 0.1 to 5.0 0.1 to 2.0 0.1 to 2.0 0.1 to 1.0 0.1 to 0.5 starch compound 1.0 to 10 1.0 to 10 2.0 to 6.0 2.0 to 6.0 3.0 to 5.0 Ethanol 5.0 to 19 5.0 to 19 7.0 to 17 8.0 to 15 8.0 to 12 Propellant 78 to 92 78 to 90 78 to 88 78 to 88 78 to 88 Optional additives to 100 to 100 to 100 to 100 to 100 Formula 36 Formula 37 Formula 38 Formula 39 Formula 40 hydrophobic cellulose fiber with a fiber length between 1.0 and 200 µm 0.1 to 5.0 0.1 to 2.0 0.1 to 2.0 0.1 to 1.0 0.1 to 0.5 starch compound 1.0 to 10 1.0 to 10 2.0 to 6.0 2.0 to 6.0 3.0 to 5.0 Ethanol 5.0 to 19 5.0 to 19 7.0 to 17 8.0 to 15 8.0 to 12 Propellant 78 to 92 78 to 90 78 to 88 78 to 88 78 to 88 Optional additives to 100 to 100 to 100 to 100 to 100

[0056] In an alternative embodiment, hydrophilized fibers are used in the cosmetic products. These fibers have a higher water absorption capacity than non-hydrophilized fibers.

[0057] The water adsorption capacity (20°C) of preferred fibers, particularly preferred hydrophilized fibers, is preferably above 5.0 wt.%, preferably above 7.0 wt.% and particularly above 9.0 wt.% of the net weight of the fibers.

[0058] Hydrophilicizing the fibers improves, among other things, their water absorption capacity. Such fibers are therefore used particularly in refreshing cosmetic compositions.

[0060] To enhance the refreshing effect of cosmetic compositions, at least one cooling agent can be added as an additional optional ingredient.

[0061] The group of cosmetically acceptable components with a cooling effect includes substances that have a cooling effect through evaporation (e.g., isopropanol) or by acting on skin receptors. Examples of substances from the latter group are the compounds with the INCI names Menthol, Menthyl Lactate, Menthone Glycerin Acetal, and Methoxyphenyl Menthane Carboxamide. [0069] The polymer is particularly preferably selected from the group of amphoteric polymers. The use of a copolymer of i) N-tert-octylacrylamide, ii) acrylic acid, iii) tert-butylaminoethyl methacrylate and optionally other monomers is particularly preferred.

[0070] Preferred amphoteric copolymers preferably consist of at least 90 wt.%, preferably at least 95 wt.%, and in particular at least 97 wt.% of the monomers N-tert-octylacrylamide, acrylic acid, and tert-butylaminoethyl methacrylate. Corresponding copolymers can also be obtained using only the monomers N-tert-octylacrylamide, acrylic acid, and tert-butylaminoethyl methacrylate.

[0071] Copolymers of the monomers N-tert-octylacrylamide, acrylic acid, tert-butylaminoethyl methacrylate, methyl methacrylate, and hydroxypropyl methacrylate are also preferred. It is particularly preferred if the copolymer consists of at least 90 wt. %, preferably at least 95 wt. %, and in particular at least 97 wt. % of the monomers N-tert-octylacrylamide, acrylic acid, tert-butylaminoethyl methacrylate, methyl methacrylate, and hydroxypropyl methacrylate.

[0072] The amphoteric copolymers described above are marketed, for example, under the name Amphomer ®< (INCI name: Octylacrylamide / Acrylates / Butylaminoethyl Methacrylate Copolymer; CAS number 70801-07-9) by National Starch.

[0073] Optional additional suitable active ingredients or excipients which may be contained in the cosmetic compositions include, in particular, additional care substances.

[0074] As a care ingredient, the product can contain, for example, at least one protein hydrolysate and / or one of its derivatives. Protein hydrolysates are product mixtures obtained by acid-, alkaline-, or enzymatically catalyzed degradation of proteins. According to the invention, the term protein hydrolysates also includes total hydrolysates, individual amino acids and their derivatives, and mixtures of different amino acids. The molecular weight of the protein hydrolysates usable according to the invention is between 75, the molecular weight of glycine, and 200,000. Preferably, the molecular weight is between 75 and 50,000, and most preferably between 75 and 20,000 Daltons.

[0075] As a care ingredient, the agent according to the invention may further contain at least one vitamin, one provitamin, one vitamin precursor, and / or one of their derivatives. Vitamins, provitamins, and vitamin precursors typically assigned to groups A, B, C, E, F, and H are preferred.

[0076] Other care ingredients include panthenol, caffeine, nicotinamide and sorbitol.

[0077] As a care substance, the agents according to the invention may further contain at least one plant extract, but also mono- or oligosaccharides and / or lipids.

[0078] Aerosol dispensers are particularly suitable for dispensing and applying the cosmetic compositions. Accordingly, another subject of the application is cosmetic products comprising a) a cosmetic composition according to the invention b) an aerosol dispensing container.

[0079] The term aerosol dispensing containers refers to pressurized containers whose interior contains a higher gas pressure than the exterior, and from which a gas stream can be drawn off via a valve. In other words, aerosol dispensing containers are pressurized containers that allow a product (e.g., a cosmetic composition) to be dispensed via a valve using the container's internal gas pressure.

[0080] The cosmetic compositions according to the invention can be manufactured in a conventional manner. Typically, all components of the cosmetic composition, with the exception of the propellant, are placed in a suitable pressure-resistant container. This container is then sealed with a valve. Finally, the desired amount of propellant is added using conventional techniques.

[0081] Suitable pressure-resistant containers are vessels made of metal (aluminum, tinplate, tin), protected or non-splintering plastic, or glass coated on the outside with plastic. Pressure and fracture resistance, corrosion resistance, ease of filling, as well as aesthetic aspects, handling, printability, etc., play a role in their selection. Special internal protective coatings ensure corrosion resistance to the composition assembled in the pressure vessel. The valves used are particularly preferably provided with an internally coated valve disc, with the coating and valve material being compatible with each other. If aluminum valves are used, their valve discs can be coated on the inside, for example, with Micoflex paint. If tinplate valves are used according to the invention, their valve discs can be coated on the inside, for example, with PET (polyethylene terephthalate).

[0082] A multi-chamber dispenser can also be used as an aerosol dispensing container. The multi-chamber dispenser can also be designed so that one chamber contains the compressed propellant and another chamber contains the remaining components of the composition according to the invention. Such a multi-chamber dispenser is, for example, a so-called bag-in-can package.

[0083] The spray rate of the cosmetic agents is preferably 6.5 to 10.0 g / 10 s.

[0084] As stated above, the compositions according to the invention are particularly suitable for cleaning, refreshing, and deodorizing keratin fibers. Corresponding uses of the cosmetic compositions are further subject matter of this application.

[0085] A final subject of this application is a method for temporarily shaping keratin fibers, in particular human hair, in which a cosmetic composition according to the invention is applied to keratin fibers. The above statements apply mutatis mutandis to the components of this composition, their weight proportions, and preferred embodiments.
