Description

[0001] The present invention relates to a furniture fitting for connecting two furniture parts with the features of the preamble of claim 1, as well as a piece of furniture with at least two furniture parts which are connected to one another by at least one furniture fitting.

[0002] Embodiments of a furniture fitting known from the state of the art are disclosed, for example, in DE 20 2015 008 847 U1, TW 201 100 648 A or DE 296 05 547 U1.

[0003] A generic furniture fitting for connecting two furniture parts is disclosed in EP 0698357 B1. The furniture fitting described therein comprises a dowel for fastening the furniture fitting to one of the furniture parts. Furthermore, an expansion element is provided which is movably mounted relative to the dowel, wherein the dowel, starting from a release position, can be transferred into a clamped position by a relative movement of the expansion element. This relative movement of the expansion element with respect to the dowel can be carried out by a rotating or pivoting movement of a fitting body to which the expansion element is attached. The fitting body can be rotated or pivoted from a release position, in which the dowel is released, into a clamped position, in which the dowel is clamped. To do this, the fitting body is rotated or pivoted from a first position (a release position) to a second position (a clamping position), with the movement limited by a stop. The anchor can be released again by rotating or pivoting the fitting body back from the clamping position.

[0004] A disadvantage of the current state of the art is that the operator often applies excessive force to move the fitting body from a release position to a clamped position, causing the stop to be overrun due to the excessive force, thus damaging the furniture fitting. It can also happen that when the fitting body is in a clamped position, an operator attempts to release it and pushes the fitting body in the wrong direction, thus overrunning the stop, which also damages the furniture fitting.

[0005] The object of the present invention is to provide a furniture fitting for connecting two furniture parts, in which the disadvantages of the prior art described above are avoided.

[0006] This object is achieved by a furniture fitting having the features of claim 1 and a piece of furniture having the features of claim 11. Advantageous embodiments of the invention are defined in the dependent claims.

[0007] According to the invention, the fitting body is connected to the at least one expansion element in such a way that the at least one dowel can be moved into a clamping position by a rotational or pivoting movement of the fitting body in a first actuating direction, starting from a first release position, wherein the at least one dowel can be moved, starting from the clamping position, into a second release position different from the first release position by continuing the rotational or pivoting movement of the fitting body in the first actuating direction, wherein the at least one expansion element is designed as an L-shaped bracket, one leg of which is guided axially in the at least one dowel and the other leg of which is rotatably mounted in the fitting body.

[0008] This is advantageous because the fitting body can be released in multiple directions starting from a clamped position of the at least one dowel, preventing the furniture fitting from being damaged by selecting the wrong actuation direction. Furthermore, a furniture fitting according to the invention has two release positions, whereby the furniture fitting can be moved into different release positions depending on the accessibility of the fastening position.

[0009] It can be provided that the at least one dowel has a central axis and the fitting body can be rotated or pivoted about a rotation axis in the course of the rotational or pivoting movement, wherein the rotation axis is arranged transversely, preferably at right angles, to the central axis.

[0010] It is preferably provided that the at least one expansion element - preferably at a free end - has an expansion cam which is arranged in the at least one dowel. It can be provided that the at least one dowel is designed as a sleeve which is at least partially slotted in its longitudinal direction, wherein the expansion element is arranged in this sleeve, wherein an expansion cam is attached to one end of the expansion element. If this expansion cam is now moved in an axial direction (towards the inside of the sleeve), the dowel is spread open with its slotted outer surface, whereby the dowel is held by surface pressure in a bore in which the dowel is arranged. If the expansion element is now reset orIf the expansion cam is moved out of the interior of the dowel, the sleeve returns to its original shape (if the dowel only deforms elastically in a clamped position) and the dowel can be safely removed from the hole again.

[0011] It can also be provided that the at least one expansion element is rotatably mounted on the at least one fitting body and is axially displaceable in the at least one dowel.

[0012] It is provided that the at least one expansion element is designed as an L-shaped bracket, with a first leg of the L-shaped bracket being guided axially in the at least one dowel and a second leg being rotatably mounted in the fitting body. It can be provided that the radial movement is converted into an axial movement by a rotating or pivoting movement of the fitting body, with the axial movement of the expansion element in the at least one dowel leading to a tensioning or loosening of the dowel.

[0013] Furthermore, it can be provided that the at least one dowel is connected to a support, and that the at least one expansion element is mounted on the fitting body so as to be rotatable about a rotation axis. Furthermore, it can be provided that the fitting body has three contact surfaces, one of which rests on the support depending on the position of the fitting body, and at least two of which are at different distances from the rotation axis. For example, it can be provided that the carrier, which rests against a first contact surface of the fitting body, is moved by a rotational or pivoting movement of the fitting body about a rotation axis to a second contact surface of the fitting body, wherein the two contact surfaces have a different distance from the rotation axis and thus the expansion element is guided axially in the dowel by the difference between the different distances, wherein this axial movement of the expansion element can move the dowel between a release position and a clamping position.

[0014] Furthermore, it can preferably be provided that a rotational or pivoting movement of the fitting body relative to the at least one dowel can increase or decrease the distance between a rotational axis, in which the at least one expansion element is rotatably mounted in the at least one fitting body, and the at least one dowel. As described above, this increase or decrease in the distance can cause an axial movement of the expansion element, which is rotatably mounted in the at least one fitting body, in the at least one dowel (in which the expansion element is mounted for axial movement).

[0015] It can also be provided that the fitting body is designed in at least two parts, wherein a fastening part is provided for fastening the at least one expansion element and a guide part is provided, wherein the guide part rests against the at least one dowel and / or a support, wherein the support is connected to the at least one dowel. With such a design, it can be provided that different regions of the fitting body are formed by different parts, wherein the different regions of the fitting body are often subject to different requirements. For example, the fitting body can have a fastening part for fastening the at least one expansion element. The requirements for such a fastening part are often high elasticity in order to withstand the high forces that occur, which are transmitted by the expansion element, without plastic deformation.Furthermore, it can be provided that the fastening part is made of a softer or harder material than the expansion element. This results in no or less wear, either on the fastening part or on the expansion element, due to the continuous movement between these two components. Accordingly, the fastening part can, for example, be made of a plastic and the expansion element of a metal, which has the further advantage that only minimal noise occurs during relative movement between the expansion element and fastening part. Furthermore, the guide part can also be made of a different material than the dowel or the support attached to it.

[0016] It is preferably provided that the fitting body has a predefined locking position relative to the dowel, at least in the clamping position, and preferably also in the first and second release positions. Such a locking position ensures the relative position between the fitting body and the dowel and prevents unintentional movement out of this position. For example, it can be provided that this locking position can be brought about by a knob which, in the desired position, engages in a recess provided for this purpose. However, it can also be provided that, between the individual positions, eccentric edges are provided opposite a rotation axis, which must be passed over during a rotational or pivoting movement of the fitting body relative to the dowel from a first to a second position. With such a design, the fitting body would snap or lock into the intended position during a rotating or pivoting movement from a first position to a second position.

[0017] Particularly preferably, it can be provided that the fitting body is designed as a holding part for a front panel of a drawer. Accordingly, the fitting body can be fastened to a front panel and the connecting device for connecting the furniture fitting to a side wall of a drawer, wherein the front panel can be detachably connected to the side wall of the drawer by the connecting device. It is also entirely conceivable for the connecting device to be arranged on the front panel and the fitting body on the side wall of the drawer. In the same way, it can also be provided that the fitting body is designed as a holding part for a drawer rail, wherein the fitting body can be fastened to a front panel or a side wall of a drawer and the connecting device to the drawer rail.It can also be provided that the drawer rail has the fitting body, and the connecting device is arranged on the front panel or on the side wall of the drawer. Similarly, it can also be provided that the furniture fitting forms a housing for connecting two furniture parts, with each two parts of the housing being connected to each other by a furniture fitting.

[0018] Furthermore, protection is sought for a piece of furniture with at least two furniture parts which can be connected to one another by at least one furniture fitting according to the invention.

[0019] Various embodiments of the present invention are apparent from the figures and the accompanying description. [0020] Fig. 1 shows an exploded view of two furniture parts to be connected by means of an embodiment of a furniture fitting 1 according to the invention. More precisely, the two furniture parts to be connected are a front panel 2 and a side wall 3 of a drawer 17, wherein the furniture fitting 1 with the dowels 5 is inserted into the holes 18 provided for this purpose in the front panel 2. This is achieved by the Fig. 1 shown first release position of the furniture fitting 1, wherein the dowels 5 are loosened. Furthermore, the furniture fitting 1 shown here has a connecting device 8 which has a bolt. This connecting device 8 can be locked by a locking device 19 located in the side wall 3 of the drawer 17. Such a locking device 19 is already known from the prior art. This locking device 19 usually has a hook element which can be releasably locked to the connecting device 8. The first release position of the furniture fitting 1 is clearly visible in that the fitting body 7 of the furniture fitting 1 is tilted to the left. This fitting body 7 is connected to the dowels 5 in a rotatable or pivotable manner. A rotating or pivoting movement of the fitting body 7 allows expansion elements 6, which are arranged inside the dowels 5, to be moved in the axial direction of the dowels 5, thus allowing the dowels 5 to move between a clamped position and a released position. This will be described in more detail in the following figures.

[0021] In Fig. 2a An embodiment of a furniture fitting 1 according to the invention is shown in conjunction with a front panel 2 in a first release position. The furniture fitting 1, as already shown in the Figur 1 shown, with its dowels 5 into the holes 18 provided for this purpose in the front panel 2 and remains in a first release position.

[0022] Fig. 2b shows a detailed view of the furniture fitting 1 in conjunction with the front panel 2 from Fig. 2a .

[0023] Fig. 2c shows the furniture fitting 1 from Fig. 2a in a first release position in a perspective view. It can be clearly seen that the furniture fitting 1 has two dowels 5, which are connected to a support 10. The furniture fitting 1 has a fitting body 7, which is rotatably or pivotably connected to the support 10. A connecting device 8 (which is designed as a bolt) is arranged on the fitting body 7. The dowels 5 have a central axis 22.

[0024] In Fig. 3a is the embodiment according to the invention of the Fig. 2a by a rotating or pivoting movement of the fitting body 7 in a first actuating direction 9, the fitting body 7 is brought into a clamping position, whereby the dowels 5 are tensioned by means of the expansion elements 6 and the furniture fitting 1 and the front panel 2 are connected to one another. The fitting body 7 is rotated or pivoted in a first actuating direction 9 about a rotation axis 11, which rotation axis 11 lies transversely to the central axes 22 of the dowels 5. More precisely, in this exemplary embodiment, the rotation axis 11 lies essentially at right angles to the central axes 22 of the dowels 5.

[0025] Fig. 3b shows the furniture fitting 1 of the Fig. 3a , which is in a clamping position, in detailed view.

[0026] Fig. 3c shows the furniture fitting 1 from the Fig. 3a und 3b in a perspective view, through which the individual parts (dowel 5, support 10, fitting body 7 and connecting device 8) of the furniture fitting 1 can be seen. Furthermore, this view shows how the dowels 5 have a spread-open state in the clamped position.

[0027] Fig. 4a shows the inventive embodiment of a furniture fitting 1 of the Fig. 3a bis 3c , wherein the fitting body 7 was brought into a second release position by a rotating or pivoting movement in a first actuating direction 9, wherein the furniture fitting 1 is still arranged with its dowels 5 in the bores 8 of the front panel 2, but is no longer held in the bores 18 by an expansion of the dowels 5.

[0028] The fitting body 7 was in turn rotated or pivoted in a first actuating direction 9 about a rotation axis 11, which rotation axis 11 lies transversely to the central axes 22 of the dowels 5.

[0029] Fig. 4b shows a detailed view of the furniture fitting 1 of the Fig. 4a .

[0030] In Fig. 4c 1 shows a view of the furniture fitting 1 in a second release position, in which the connecting device 8 on the fitting body 7 can again be clearly seen, wherein the fitting body 7 is rotatably or pivotably connected to the support 10, wherein the support 10 is connected to the two dowels 5. It can be clearly seen in this figure that the dowels 5 are in a released (not extended) position.

[0031] Fig. 5 shows a connection of two furniture parts by means of an embodiment of a furniture fitting 1 according to the invention. The furniture fitting 1, which is connected to the front panel 2 by a clamping position (as in Fig. 3a und 3b shown) is inserted into the locking device 19 of the side wall 3 and locked by the locking device 19.

[0032] Fig. 6 shows an exploded view of an embodiment of a furniture fitting 1 according to the invention. This has a support 10 to which two dowels 5 are fastened. The expansion elements 6 (wherein each expansion element 6 is assigned to a dowel 5) have expansion cams 20 at one end. In an assembled state, the expansion elements 6 are arranged with their legs, at the end of which the expansion cams 20 are located, inside the dowels 5. The other end of the L-shaped expansion elements 6 is fastened in the fastening means 15. The fitting body 7 in this embodiment is formed by a fastening part 15 and a guide part 16, wherein the guide part 16 carries a connecting device 8 designed as a bolt. In the assembled state, the fastening part 15 is pushed into the guide part 16.In the assembled state, the support 10 is guided or held by the expansion elements 6, more precisely by the expansion cams 20 arranged in the dowels 5, via the fastening part 15 on the guide part 16, thereby enabling a rotational or pivoting movement of the fitting body 7, more precisely of the fastening part 15 and the guide part 16 with respect to the dowels 5 or the support 10. The legs of the expansion element 6 allow a translational movement of the dowels 5 and the support 10 connected to the dowels 5. The dowels 5 have a central axis 22.

[0033] Fig. 7a, Fig. 8a und Fig. 9a show again the already described embodiment of a furniture fitting 1 according to the invention. The furniture fitting 1 is starting from a first release position, as in Fig. 7a shown, can be moved into a clamping position by a rotary or pivoting movement in a first actuating direction 9 (by the Fig. 8a shown). By continuing the rotational or pivoting movement of the fitting body 7 in a first actuating direction 9, the furniture fitting 1 can be moved into a second release position (in Fig. 9a shown). The fitting body 7 was rotated or pivoted in a first actuation direction 9 about a rotation axis 11, which is transverse to the central axes 22 of the dowels 5. More precisely, in this embodiment, the rotation axis 11 is essentially perpendicular to the central axes 22 of the dowels 5.

[0034] The Fig. 7a The furniture fitting 1 shown is in a release position. Fig. 7b shows the Fig. 7a indicated section. The sectional view clearly shows how the dowels 5 of the furniture fitting 1 are arranged in a bore 18 of a front panel 2. The expansion element 6 with the expansion cam 20 is arranged centrally in the dowels 5, wherein the expansion elements 6 are movable about a rotation axis 11. The dowels 5 are connected to a support 10, wherein the fitting body 7 rests against the support 10 with its first contact surface 12. The fitting body 7 is arranged so as to be rotatable or pivotable about the rotation axis 11. The dowels 5 are at a distance d from the rotation axis 11. By a rotation or pivoting movement of the fitting body 7 in a first actuating direction 9, the furniture fitting 1 can be transferred from the first release position into a clamping position.

[0035] This clamping position of the furniture fitting 1 is in Fig. 8a shown. Again, the indicated cut of the Fig. 8a in the Fig. 8b shown. In Fig. 8b It can be seen how, by rotating or pivoting the fitting body 7 in a first actuating direction 9, the fitting body 7 was transferred from its first contact surface 12 to its second contact surface 13 on the support 10. The second contact surface 13 has a greater distance D from the axis of rotation 11 than the first contact surface 12, whereby the expansion elements 6, which are fastened to the fitting body 7, were moved axially in the dowel 5. More precisely: the expansion elements 6 were drawn with their expansion cams 20 into the interior of the dowels 5, whereby they spread the dowels 5. This occurs by the distance d between the dowels 5 and the axis of rotation 11 (through the Fig. 7b shown) to the distance D (in Fig. 8b shown). By spreading 5, the dowel 5 is pressed with its outer surface against an inner side of the bores 18 of the front panel 2, whereby the furniture fitting 1 is held to the front panel 2 by the compressive forces acting between the dowels 5 and the bores 18.

[0036] By continuing the rotation or pivoting movement of the fitting body 7 in the first actuation direction 9, the furniture fitting 1 is moved into a second release position, different from the first. This second release position of the furniture fitting 1 is in the Fig. 9a shown.

[0037] Again, the Fig. 9a suggested cut in Fig. 9b shown, wherein it can be seen that the fitting body 7 now rests with its third contact surface 14 on the carrier 10, wherein the third contact surface 14 in this embodiment has a reduced distance d relative to the rotational axis 11 than the second contact surface 13. More precisely, the third contact surface 14 has the same distance d from the rotational axis 11 as the first contact surface 12. By continuing the rotational or pivoting movement of the fitting body 7 in the first actuation direction 9, the distance D has been reduced to a distance d, whereby the spreading elements 6 - more precisely, the spreading cams 20 be pushed out of the dowels 5 and the dowels 5 have been released again.

[0038] Fig. 10a shows an embodiment of a furniture fitting 1 according to the invention in a clamping position. Fig. 10a a front view of the furniture fitting 1 is shown. In Fig. 10a Two dowels 5 are visible, which are connected to a support 10. The Fig. 10a Section BB marked is characterized by the representation of the Fig. 10b shown. This sectional view clearly shows how the support 10, which is connected to the dowels 5, rests against a second contact surface 13 of the fitting body 7. The support 10 rests against a second contact surface 13 on the guide part 16, since the fitting body 7 in this embodiment is formed in two parts, consisting of the guide part 16 and the fastening part 15. The fastening part 15, which is arranged in the guide part 16, has a rotation axis 11 about which the expansion element 6 is rotatably mounted.

[0039] Fig. 10c shows the detailed view C of the Fig. 10b , which again shows the bearing of the carrier 10 against a second bearing surface 13 of the guide part 16. In this figure, it can be clearly seen that, due to the bearing of the carrier 10 against the second bearing surface 13, a distance E exists between the axis of rotation 11 and the carrier 10.

[0040] By rotating or pivoting the fitting body 7 in a first actuating direction 9, more precisely, by rotating or pivoting the guide part 16 and the fastening part 15 connected thereto in a first actuating direction 9, the Fig. 10a bis 10c The furniture fitting 1 shown can be moved into a second release position, which Fig. 11a is shown.

[0041] In Fig. 11a It is clearly visible how the dowel 5 and the associated support 10 are now in a pivoted or tilted position relative to the fitting body 7. In Fig. 11b is the one in Fig. 11a indicated section BB is shown. The shown detail C of the Fig. 11b is through the Fig. 11c shown. In Fig. 11c It can be seen how the carrier 10 rests against a third contact surface 14 of the guide part 16 and thus has a distance e from the rotation axis 11, wherein this distance e represents a reduced distance from the distance E. The expansion element 6 is in turn mounted in the rotation axis 11, more precisely in the fastening part 15, wherein the fastening part 15 is received by the guide part 16. The fastening part 15 and the guide part 16 together form the fitting body 7.

[0042] Due to the rotatable or pivotable mounting of the expansion element 6, it can be moved rotationally during a rotating or pivoting movement of the fitting body 7, more precisely, of the fastening part 15 and the guide part 16. Because a distance e changes due to a rotating or pivoting movement between the support 10 or the dowels 5 and the rotation axis 11, the L-shaped expansion element 6 is displaced in an axial direction within the dowel 5. This axial displacement of the expansion element 6 within the dowel 5 allows the dowel 5 to be expanded or loosened. In this exemplary embodiment, this is achieved by the dowel 5 being slotted, with the expansion element 6 having an expansion cam 20 at a free end (which protrudes through the dowel 5). If this expansion cam 20 is now pushed into the dowel 5 by the expansion element 6, the slotted dowel 5 is widened and its outer surface is enlarged. If this dowel 5 is now arranged in a bore 18 provided for it, a compressive force is built up between the bore 18 and the outer surface of the dowel 5 due to this expansion of the dowel 5. If the expansion cam 20 or the expansion element 6 is now pushed out of the dowel 5 again, the dowel 5 springs back to its original position and reduces its outer surface, whereby it is again possible to remove the dowel 5 from a bore 18 with little effort. This springback of the dowel 5 can be achieved by a suitable choice of material for the dowel 5, whereby it is important to ensure that the expansion of the dowel 5 is always within an elastic deformation range, whereby the dowel 5 springs back to its original position under its own power when the force is released (removal of the expansion element 6).

[0043] Furthermore, it can be provided that the fitting body 7 has a predefined locking position relative to the at least one dowel 5, at least in the clamping position, and preferably also in the first and second release positions. Figuren 10a bis 10c and Figuren 11a bis 11c This can be clearly seen, with an eccentric, rounded edge 21 being formed between the first bearing surface 12 and the second bearing surface 13, as well as between the second bearing surface 13 and the third bearing surface 14 of the guide part 16. During a rotational or pivoting movement between the first bearing surface 12 and the second bearing surface 13, or between the second bearing surface 13 and the third bearing surface 14, the support 10 resting against the bearing surface must now be moved over this eccentric, rounded edge 21, whereby the expansion element 6 in the dowel 5—more precisely, the expansion cam 20—is pushed into the dowel 5. However, since the dowel 5 has an elastic deformation, a springback force is exerted on the expansion element 6 by this dowel 5, since the dowel 5 always tends to return to its original position.Once this eccentric, rounded edge 21 has been overcome, the distance is reduced again and the expansion element 6 is pushed out slightly from the interior of the dowel 5 or pushed out by the dowel 5 through its springback. Thus, the smallest distance to the axis of rotation 11 is always in the center of the contact surfaces 12, 13, 14. If an adjacent support 10 is moved from this central position of the contact surfaces 12, 13, 14, the distance is increased. However, since the dowel 5 has a springback, it will always be forced to have the smallest possible distance between the support 10 and the axis of rotation 11, whereby a predefined locking position is always provided in the center of the contact surfaces 12, 13, 14. The fitting body 7 is rotated or pivoted in a first actuating direction 9 about a rotation axis 11, which rotation axis 11 lies transversely to the central axis 22 of the dowel 5.More precisely, in this embodiment, the axis of rotation 11 is essentially perpendicular to the central axis 22 of the dowel 5.

[0044] In the Figuren 12a bis 14b an embodiment of a furniture fitting 1 according to the invention is shown, wherein the fitting body 7 is designed as a holding part for a drawer rail 4. In Fig. 12a The fitting body 7 is arranged in a first release position. By rotating or pivoting this Fig. 12a in a first release position arranged fitting body 7 in a first direction of movement 9, the dowel 5 can be transferred into a clamping position, which is Fig. 13a By continuing the rotational or pivoting movement of the fitting body 7 in the first actuating direction 9, the dowel 5 can be moved from the clamping position into a second release position, which is different from the first release position. This second release position is defined by the Fig. 14a shown. The Figuren 12a, 13a und 14a The detailed views A indicated are each indicated by the Figuren 12b, 13b und 14b shown.

[0045] In more detail you can see in Fig. 12b the dowel 5 in a first release position. The dowel 5 is fastened to a carrier 10, which rests against a fitting body 7. This embodiment has the same functionality as in the previously described figures, wherein an L-shaped expansion element 6 is again arranged in the dowel 5, which is axially displaceable in the dowel 5. This L-shaped expansion element 6 is further pivotally fastened in the fitting body 7. This embodiment also has (more precisely, the fitting body 7 has) a first contact surface 12, a second contact surface 13 and a third contact surface 14, wherein at least two of the contact surfaces 12, 13, 14 have a different distance d, D from the rotation axis 11. More precisely, the first contact surface 12 and the third contact surface 14 have the same reduced distance d. The second contact surface 13 has an increased distance D. In the position which is Fig. 12b As shown, the carrier 10 is located on a first contact surface 12 at a distance d, whereby the expansion element 6 with its expansion cam 20 arranged at the free end is in an extended position in the dowel 5, wherein the dowel 5 remains in a first release position.

[0046] In Fig. 13b a clamping position of the dowel 5 is shown, which is evident from the spread-out shape of the dowel 5. For this purpose, the fitting body 7 was rotated or pivoted in a first actuating direction 9 relative to the carrier 10, whereby the carrier 10 now rests against a second contact surface 13 of the fitting body 7, which has an increased distance D from the axis of rotation 11. Due to this increased distance D, the expansion element 6 is drawn into the interior of the dowel 5, whereby the expansion cam 20 attached to the free end of the expansion element 6 spreads out the dowel 5.

[0047] By continuing the rotation or pivoting movement of the fitting body 7 in a first actuation direction 9, the dowel 5 can be moved from the clamping position into a second release position, which is determined by the Fig. 14b is shown. It can be clearly seen how the carrier 10 now rests against a third contact surface 14 of the fitting body 7, which third contact surface 14 has a reduced distance d from the axis of rotation 11, whereby the expansion element 6 is pushed out of the dowel 5 and the dowel 5 springs back into its starting position (or a second release position).

[0048] In the Figuren 12a bis 14bThe fitting body 7 is formed integrally with an inner section of the drawer rail 4. The drawer rail 4 can be connected to a counterpart at its end opposite the dowel 5, as is known from the prior art. A drawer rail 4 can connect two parts of a drawer 17 and, if necessary, run parallel to and above a side wall 3 of a drawer 17. List of reference symbols:
