Description

[0001] The present invention relates to a furniture drive for moving a furniture part movably mounted relative to a furniture body, comprising: a first fitting part for fastening to the furniture body, a second fitting part for fastening to the movable furniture part, at least one articulated lever which is articulated to the first fitting part via a first articulated axis and to the second fitting part via at least one second articulated axis, wherein the at least one articulated lever has at least two sections which are spaced apart from one another by an offset in a direction parallel to the articulated axes.

[0002] Furthermore, the invention relates to a set with at least two furniture drives of the type to be described.

[0003] The invention further relates to a piece of furniture having a furniture body and at least one furniture part mounted so as to be movable relative to the furniture body, wherein the at least one movable furniture part is connected to the furniture body via at least one furniture drive of the type to be described.

[0004] Such a furniture drive is shown, for example, in DE 28 29 727 A1. The furniture drive is designed to move a furniture flap and has two levers, one pivotally mounted on a first bearing plate to be attached to the furniture body, and the other pivotally mounted on a second bearing plate to be attached to the furniture flap. The two levers each have a crank, allowing the levers and, if necessary, the projecting heads of the hinge pins to be nested within each other.

[0005] Another furniture drive is known, for example, from WO 2016 / 174071 A1. This can be challenging with customized solutions, for example, when a furniture door is to be mounted directly beneath a kitchen worktop using the furniture drive. In such a case, a gap must be provided between the top of the furniture door and the underside of the kitchen worktop to prevent collision between the furniture door and the kitchen worktop and to enable smooth pivoting of the furniture door between the closed and open end positions. The door-side fitting of the furniture drive is recessed into a recess in the furniture door; however, due to the reduced height of the furniture door, only a small wall thickness remains between the recess and the top of the furniture door. This minimal residual wall thickness can result in the door-side fitting of the furniture drive being insufficiently or not at all secured to the furniture door, with the risk of the door-side fitting being torn out of the furniture door. Another problematic installation situation can arise if the door-side fitting is to be mounted on a frame (e.g., an aluminum frame) of the movable furniture part, where the frame is designed to accommodate a decorative panel, e.g., made of glass. In this case, no suitable fastening option is available for attaching the door-side fitting to the frame – creating a gap between the frame and an adjacent furniture part.

[0006] The object of the present invention is to provide a furniture drive of the type mentioned at the outset while avoiding the disadvantages discussed above.

[0007] This is achieved according to the invention by the features of patent claim 1. Further embodiments of the invention are specified in the dependent patent claims.

[0008] According to the invention, it is provided that the first fitting part has a first imaginary center plane and the second fitting part has a second imaginary center plane, wherein the center planes are spaced from one another in the direction parallel to the joint axes.

[0009] In other words, at least one articulated lever with two sections is provided for the pivotable connection between the two fitting parts. When mounted on the furniture door, these sections are vertically spaced from each other, thus creating a desired height offset between the two fitting parts of the furniture drive. This height offset can be achieved, for example, by an angled or cranked transition section of the articulated lever.

[0010] The articulated lever allows the second fitting part to be mounted at a lower position on or in the movable furniture part for fastening to the movable furniture part, whereby a sufficient wall thickness remains between the recess and an upper side of the movable furniture part and the arrangement of the second fitting part on a frame profile for receiving a glass plate is also possible.

[0011] The offset is between 0.5 mm and 10.0 mm, preferably between 1.0 mm and 7.0 mm.

[0012] The at least two sections of the articulated lever can each be substantially flat and aligned substantially parallel to one another.

[0013] The first joint axis may have a first pin and the at least one second joint axis may have a second pin, wherein the first pin of the first joint axis and the second pin of the second joint axis may be arranged offset from one another in a direction parallel to the joint axes.

[0014] The first fitting part can have a first contact surface for contact on or in the furniture body and the second fitting part can have a second contact surface for contact on or in the movable furniture part, wherein the first contact surface and the second contact surface are spaced apart from each other by a first distance in the direction parallel to the joint axes.

[0015] According to a preferred embodiment, it can be provided that the first and / or second fitting part are substantially cuboid-shaped and / or are designed to be arranged at least partially, preferably substantially completely, in a recess in the furniture body or in the movable furniture part.

[0016] The set according to the invention comprises a first furniture drive and at least one second furniture drive of the type described, wherein the offset of the at least one articulated lever of the first furniture drive and the offset of the at least one articulated lever of the second furniture drive are of different sizes.

[0017] Further details and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following description of the figures. Fig. 1a, 1b show a piece of furniture with a furniture body and a furniture part that can be moved relative thereto as well as a furniture drive in perspective views, Fig. 2a, 2b show the furniture in a view from the front as well as a side view of the furniture drive, Fig. 3 shows an exploded view of the furniture drive, Fig. 4 shows a possible application of the furniture drive with a movable furniture part that has a frame and a decorative panel arranged in the frame.

[0018] Fig. 1a shows a portion of a piece of furniture 1 with a furniture body 2 and a furniture part 3 that is movable relative to the furniture body 2. At least one furniture drive 4 is provided to move the furniture part 3, by means of which the movable furniture part 3 can be pivoted about a vertically running axis in an assembled state. The furniture body 2 has a horizontally running furniture panel 2a in the form of a top panel and a vertically running furniture panel 2b in the form of a side wall, wherein a first fitting part 5 of the furniture drive 4 is fastened in or to the horizontally running furniture panel 2a. It is of course also possible to fasten the first fitting part 5 of the furniture drive 4 in or to the vertically running furniture panel 2b of the furniture body 2, wherein in such a case the movable furniture part 3 would be pivotable about a horizontally running axis relative to the furniture body 2, i.e. could be lifted relative to the furniture body 2.The furniture drive 4 has a second fitting part 6 for attachment to the movable furniture part 3. The furniture drive 4 can comprise at least one energy accumulator (not shown), wherein the second fitting part 6 (and thus the movable furniture part 3) can be moved by a force of the energy accumulator towards the end of the closing movement into the fully closed position and / or towards the end of the opening movement into the fully open position. The furniture drive 4 can have a damping device (for example, a piston-cylinder unit) for damping a closing movement and / or an opening movement of the fitting parts 5, 6 relative to one another, preferably hydraulically.

[0019] In In the figure shown, the first fitting part 5 of the furniture drive 4 is predominantly, preferably substantially entirely, accommodated within a plate-shaped furniture part 2a, 2b of the furniture body 2. With a horizontal orientation of the furniture plate 2a, the first fitting part 5 can be arranged in or on a top panel, in or on a bottom panel, and / or in or on a shelf compartment arranged between the top panel and the bottom panel. With a vertical orientation of the furniture plate 2b, the first fitting part 5 can be arranged in or on a vertically extending side wall. The second fitting part 6 of the furniture drive 4, on the other hand, is predominantly, preferably substantially entirely, accommodated within the movable furniture part 3. The two fitting parts 5, 6 are articulated to one another via an articulated lever arrangement 11, wherein the articulated lever arrangement 11 has at least one pivotable articulated lever 7, 7a.

[0020] The first fitting part 5 is to be fastened to the furniture body 2, preferably in or on the horizontal furniture panel 2a of the furniture body 2, via at least one fastening device 10. The first fitting part 5 can have a lateral adjustment device 8 with a first adjustment wheel, wherein a position of the first fitting part 5 can be adjusted in a lateral direction relative to the furniture body 2 by rotating the first adjustment wheel. A depth adjustment device 9 with a second adjustment wheel can be used to adjust the position of the first fitting part 5 in a depth direction relative to the furniture body 2.

[0021] Fig. 1b shows the furniture drive 4 according to Fig. 1a in a perspective view. The first fitting part 5 has a housing 5a, and the second fitting part 6 has a housing 6a. The housing 5a and / or the housing 6a can be substantially cuboid-shaped. Preferably, the two housings 5a, 6a are designed to be arranged at least partially, preferably substantially completely, in a recess in the furniture body 2 or in the movable furniture part 3.

[0022] The articulated lever 7 of the articulated lever arrangement 11 is connected to the first fitting part 5 via a first joint axis (A) and to the second fitting part 6 via at least one second joint axis (B). The first joint axis (A) and the second joint axis (B) are connected via an angled or cranked transition section 19 ( Fig. 3 ) of the articulated lever 7 are connected to each other, so that the joint axes (A, B) are offset from each other in a vertical direction. In this way, the remaining wall thickness 13 ( Fig. 1a ) of the movable furniture part 3 can be made thicker and consequently more stable, whereby the second fitting part 6 can be mounted on the movable furniture part 3 in an improved manner.

[0023] In the illustrated embodiment, the articulated lever arrangement 11 has a further articulated lever 7a, which is mounted on a bracket 12 of the first fitting part 5 about a joint axis (C) and on the second fitting part 6 about a joint axis (D). The articulated lever arrangement 11 can therefore have four joint axes (A, B, C, D), with at least three joint axes (B, C, D) being arranged outside the housing 5a of the first fitting part 5 in all relative positions of the fitting parts 5, 6 to one another.

[0024] Fig. 2a shows the furniture 1 with the furniture body 2 in a front view. If a worktop 14 is located above the horizontally extending furniture panel 2a of the furniture body 2, a joint 15 must be provided between the upper side 3a of the movable furniture part 3 and the underside 14a of the worktop 14, so that the movable furniture part 3 does not touch the underside 14a of the worktop 14 during a pivoting movement. Due to the angled transition section 19 ( Fig. 3 ) of the articulated lever 7, the joint axes (A, B) of the articulated lever 7 assume a different height position relative to each other in all relative positions of the fitting parts 5, 6. Due to the height offset of the joint axes (A, B) relative to each other, the remaining wall thickness 13 ( Fig. 1a ), which remains between an upper side of the recess for receiving the second fitting part 6 and an upper side 3a of the movable furniture part 3, can be made thicker and consequently more stable.

[0025] Fig. 2b shows the furniture drive 4 in a side view, wherein the second fitting part 6 is in an open position relative to the first fitting part 5. The at least one articulated lever 7 is connected to the first fitting part 5 via the joint axis A and to the second fitting part 6 via the joint axis B. Due to the angled transition section 19 of the articulated lever 7, the two pins of the joint axes (A, B) are spaced from each other by an offset (ΔX) in a direction parallel to the joint axes (A, B).

[0026] Preferred embodiments: The first fitting part 5 has a first contact surface 5b for contacting or in the furniture body 2 and the second fitting part 6 has a second contact surface 6b for contacting or in the movable furniture part 3, wherein the first contact surface 5b and the second contact surface 6b are spaced from one another by a first distance (X1) in the direction parallel to the joint axes (A, B). Furthermore, it can be provided that the first fitting part 5 has a further contact surface 5c for contacting or in the furniture body 2 and the second fitting part 6 has a further contact surface 6c for contacting or in the movable furniture part 3, wherein the further contact surfaces 5c, 6c are spaced from one another by a second distance (X2) in the direction parallel to the joint axes (A, B), and wherein the first distance (X1) and the second distance (X2) are different.

[0027] The first fitting part 5 has a first imaginary center plane (P1) and the second fitting part 6 has a second imaginary center plane (P2), wherein the center planes (P1, P2) are spaced from each other in the direction parallel to the joint axes (A, B).

[0028] Fig. 3 shows the furniture drive 4 in an exploded view. The first fitting part 5 has the cuboid-shaped housing 5a, which is designed to be arranged in a recess arranged in the furniture body 2. In addition, a bearing device 17 is provided with two spaced-apart bearing parts 17a, 17b, which are received in housing parts 16a, 16b. The housing parts 16a, 16b can be detachably connected to the housing 5a pre-assembled on the furniture body 2 via a fastening device (not shown). The articulated lever 7 is arranged in regions between the two bearing parts 17a, 17b, through each of which the joint axis (A) runs. At least one of the bearing parts 17a, 17b, preferably both, has an angled arm 12, on which the further articulated lever 7a, which is separate from the at least one articulated lever 7, is pivotally mounted about the joint axis (C).It is preferably provided that the boom 12 is arranged partially outside the housing 5a of the first fitting part 5.

[0029] The at least one articulated lever 7 has at least two sections 18a, 18b, which are spaced apart from each other by the offset (ΔX) in a direction parallel to the joint axes (A, B). The at least two sections 18a, 18b of the articulated lever 7 can each be substantially flat and aligned substantially parallel to each other. The two sections 18a, 18b of the articulated lever 7 can be connected to each other, for example, via a preferably multiple, angled or stepped transition section 19.

[0030] In the housing 6a of the second fitting part 6, a bearing 20 can be arranged, through which the joint axes (B, D) for pivotably supporting the joint levers 7, 7a run.

[0031] Fig. 4shows a possible application of the furniture drive 4 with a movable furniture part 3, which has a frame 21 and at least one decorative panel 22 arranged in the frame 21. The frame 21 can be formed, for example, from an aluminum profile and is designed to receive the decorative panel 22, preferably made of glass. The furniture body 2 can have a first upper side 23 and the at least one movable furniture part 3 can have a second upper side 3a aligned substantially parallel thereto, wherein the upper sides 23, 3a are spaced from one another by a joint 15 in a direction parallel to the joint axes A, B. It is preferably provided that a size of the joint 15 corresponds to the offset (ΔX) of the at least two sections 18a, 18b of the at least one articulated lever 7.

[0032] The set according to the invention is particularly suitable for a kitchen manufacturer, for example, to stock two or more, preferably exactly three, types of furniture drives 4, each having a different offset (ΔX). Depending on the material thickness (M) of the furniture body 2 (e.g., 16 mm, 18 mm, or 19 mm), the offset to be selected (ΔX), for example, between 0.5 mm and 10 mm, and the material properties of the movable furniture part 3 (e.g., wood or decorative panel 22 made of glass), a fitter can select the appropriate furniture drive 4 from the set of two or more furniture drives 4 directly on site.
