Description

Description:

[0001] The invention relates to a method for unlocking a seat of a single-track motor vehicle, comprising at least one actuator for unlocking and locking the seat by means of a locking element. The invention also relates to a device for carrying out the method.

[0002] The seat release in a single-track vehicle is usually done by opening a lock using the ignition key. Furthermore, the release often requires a cumbersome two-handed operation. This makes it extremely uncomfortable for the driver of a single-track vehicle if, for example, they want to open the seat to remove an object from a storage compartment under the seat.

[0003] Printed prior art in the present technical field is disclosed in the documents EP 3 747 748 A1, JP H10 7053 A, DE 10 2015 203 696 A1 and US 2007 / 247 280 A1.

[0004] It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a device and a method for seat unlocking which optimizes and simplifies seat unlocking for a driver.

[0005] This problem is solved by the combination of features according to patent claim 1.

[0006] According to the invention, a method for unlocking a seat of a single-track motor vehicle or a quad bike is proposed, comprising at least one actuator for unlocking and locking the seat by means of a locking element. An actuating element for the actuator is formed on the seat. Furthermore, the single-track motor vehicle has a sensor system for detecting current operating parameters of the single-track motor vehicle and a control unit for regulating the actuator. At least one predetermined value for the corresponding operating parameters is also stored in the control unit. The method first comprises continuously detecting the corresponding operating parameters by means of the sensor system and subsequently comparing the detected operating parameters with the respective corresponding predetermined value by means of the control unit. If, during the comparison, the detected operating parameter corresponds to the corresponding predetermined value and a driver actuates the actuating element, the control unit controls the actuator in such a way that the seat is unlocked by means of the locking element.

[0007] The advantage of this is that the seat's unlocking mechanism prevents it from being accidentally released. Furthermore, the seat unlocks automatically and can be easily and directly removed. This optimizes handling for the rider.

[0008] In an advantageous embodiment, the actuating element is a handle, a lever, a sensor, an induction loop, a switch, or a push button. An induction loop is particularly preferred. This allows the seat to be automatically unlocked by touching the designated areas, further optimizing the handling of the seat unlocking process for the driver.

[0009] Preferably, when recording, an ignition status of the single-track motor vehicle is determined as an operating parameter, and the at least one value is a switched-on ignition. This means that the seat can only be unlocked when the ignition is switched on.

[0010] In one embodiment of the method, it is provided that a detected radio key is determined as an operating parameter during detection, and the at least one value is a detected radio key that is within a predetermined distance from a radio receiver of the single-track motor vehicle, in particular within 2 meters, more particularly within 1 meter. This has the advantage that the seat can be unlocked by actuating the actuating element as soon as the driver is in the vicinity of the single-track motor vehicle with the radio key, thereby further improving operating comfort for the driver.

[0011] In an alternative embodiment, the status of an ignition lock of the single-track motor vehicle is determined as an operating parameter during detection, and the at least one value is a key inserted in the ignition lock. This ensures that, in a version of the single-track motor vehicle without a remote key, the seat is only unlocked when the driver is in possession of the ignition key and inserts it into the ignition lock.

[0012] According to the invention, when detecting an operating parameter, a wheel speed of the single-track motor vehicle is determined, and the at least one value is a wheel speed of 0. This prevents the seat from being accidentally unlocked while riding the motorcycle, thus increasing safety for the driver.

[0013] Furthermore, a preferred embodiment includes an occupancy sensor for the seat, and the occupancy of the seat and the engine speed of the single-track motor vehicle are determined as operating parameters during detection. The at least one value is an unoccupied seat and an engine speed greater than 0. This is advantageous in that the seat can be unlocked even if the engine is running, since the occupancy sensor ensures that no driver is sitting on the single-track motor vehicle.

[0014] In a preferred embodiment of the method, the seat has an electric motor, and after unlocking, the seat is opened by the electric motor. This allows the seat to open automatically after unlocking, further optimizing handling for the driver.

[0015] According to the invention, a device for carrying out a method for unlocking and locking a seat of a single-track motor vehicle according to the above disclosure is further proposed, comprising at least one actuator for unlocking and locking the seat by means of a locking element. An actuating element for the actuator is formed on the seat, and the single-track motor vehicle has a sensor system for detecting current operating parameters of the single-track motor vehicle and a control unit for controlling the actuator. Furthermore, at least one predetermined value for the corresponding operating parameters is stored in the control unit, and if the detected operating parameter corresponds to the corresponding predetermined value and the actuating element is actuated, the actuator can be controlled by the control unit such that the seat is unlocked by means of the locking element.

[0016] The features disclosed above can be combined as desired, as long as this is technically possible and they do not contradict each other.

[0017] Other advantageous developments of the invention are characterized in the subclaims or are presented in more detail below, together with the description of the preferred embodiment of the invention, with reference to the figures. They show: Fig. 1 is a schematic view of a device for carrying out a method for unlocking and locking a seat of a single-track motor vehicle and Fig. 2 is a circuit diagram of a method for unlocking a seat of a single-track motor vehicle using the device.

[0018] The figures are schematic examples. Identical reference numerals in the figures indicate identical functional and / or structural features.

[0019] In Figure 1a schematic view of a device 1 for carrying out a method for unlocking and locking a seat 2 of a single-track motor vehicle is shown.

[0020] The device 1 comprises an actuator 3 for unlocking and locking the seat bench 2 by means of a locking element 4. An actuating element 7 for the actuator 3 is also formed on the seat bench 2. In addition, the single-track motor vehicle has a sensor system 8 for detecting current operating parameters 9 of the single-track motor vehicle and a control unit 5 for controlling the actuator 3. Predetermined values 6 for the corresponding operating parameters 9 are stored in the control unit 5. Furthermore, if the detected operating parameter 9 corresponds to the corresponding predetermined value 6 and the actuating element 7 is actuated, the actuator 3 can be controlled by the control unit 5 such that the seat bench 2 is unlocked by means of the locking element 4. The actuating element 7 is an induction loop arranged in a recessed grip of the seat bench 2.

[0021] Figure 2shows a circuit diagram of a method for unlocking a seat 2 of a single-track motor vehicle using the device 1 described above. The method comprises, in step a), first a continuous recording of the corresponding operating parameters 9 by means of the sensor system 8 and, in step b), subsequently a comparison of the recorded operating parameters 9 with the respective corresponding predetermined value 6 by means of the control unit 5.

[0022] If, during the comparison, the detected operating parameter 9 corresponds to the corresponding predetermined value 6 and a driver actuates the actuating element 7, the control unit 5 then controls the actuator 3 in step c) such that the seat 2 is unlocked by means of the locking element 4. If one of the detected operating parameters 9 deviates from the corresponding predetermined value 6, the seat is not unlocked.

[0023] During detection, an ignition status of the single-track motor vehicle is determined as operating parameter 9, and the corresponding value 6 is a switched-on ignition. Furthermore, a detected radio key is determined as operating parameter 9, and the corresponding value 6 is a detected radio key that is within a predetermined distance from the seat 2 or the single-track motor vehicle, preferably within one meter. Furthermore, a wheel speed of the single-track motor vehicle is determined as operating parameter 9, and the associated value 6 is a wheel speed of 0.

[0024] Furthermore, the seat 2 has an occupancy sensor, and upon detection, the occupancy of the seat 2 and the engine speed of the single-track motor vehicle are determined as operating parameters 9. Values 6 represent an unoccupied seat 2 and an engine speed greater than 0. Furthermore, the seat includes an electric motor, and after unlocking, the seat 2 is opened by means of the electric motor.

[0025] The invention is not limited to the preferred embodiments described above. Rather, a number of variants are conceivable that utilize the solution presented even in fundamentally different embodiments.
