An extension device with a guide fixed on the frame and an extension that slides along it, allowing the detection end to support the mobile part without complex connections, ensuring reliability and adaptability to various frame geometries by using a sliding mechanism and optional features like permanent magnets for improved versatility.
The extension device effectively transmits the movement of the mobile part to the detection system, allowing for accurate position detection without complex connections, and is adaptable to various frame types, enhancing the reliability and versatility of the detection system.
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to an extension device for a door frame, a detection system comprising such an extension device and a position detector, and a door frame, notably comprising the detection system.
[0002] The invention relates to the field of detecting the position of a moving part belonging to a door frame fitting, the door frame constituting for example a door, a window or a shutter.
[0003] In the context of a locking device for a door of a distribution board, KR101722757B1 describes a lock installed on the door, receiving a door handle for vertically actuating two actuating pieces in opposite directions. Each actuating piece is attached to a respective locking rod, not only by means of a pin, housed in a hole in the actuating piece and in a hole in the locking rod, but also by engagement of the actuating piece with a notch in the locking rod.
[0004] DE202015008125U1 describes an assembly by coupling of espagnolette fittings on windows, doors and the like, which consist of leaves and frames.
[0005] To detect the current position of the moving part of a door frame fitting, it is known to fix a position detector on the edge which carries said moving part, the detector comprising a feeler rod which is then actuated by the moving part to reflect the position of the moving part. For this, for example, the feeler rod is placed in axial support against the moving part, so as to be movable in translation with the moving part. The position of the feeler rod is then detected using one or more sensors, to deduce the position of the moving part. The detector therefore makes it possible to detect the current configuration of the fitting, to determine for example whether the fitting is in a locking or unlocking configuration of the door frame. A detector suitable for this application is described in FR3102787A1.
[0006] However, depending on the manufacturer and the type of frame, frames can come in a wide variety of forms, including their fittings. Consequently, the moving part of the fitting does not always have an end whose arrangement easily allows the position detector to be added to the frame, in a position where the moving part actuates the safety rod. In particular, the moving part of the fitting can be hidden under a fixed part of the fitting, so that the safety rod cannot reach it. This is particularly the case for sliding sash frames, where the moving part of the fitting is in the form of a espagnolette sliding along the edge of the sash and often covered by a fixed part of the fitting, for example in the form of a faceplate, ensuring the sliding guidance of the espagnolette and covering the edge.
[0007] EP 3 680 429 A1 describes a connector device, which can be attached to the end of a cremone bolt, using connection means, to extend it. This connector device has a cover plate made of a material which allows it to be detected by means for detecting the state of the locking fitting, by electromagnetic detection. However, the connection means require that the connector device has a relatively large footprint, which is not always compatible with the geometry of certain fittings, and can hardly be designed to adapt to particularly varied types of fittings. Furthermore, there is a risk of detachment of the connection means, leading to the disconnection of the connector device.
[0008] The invention aims to remedy the drawbacks of the prior art, by proposing an extension device for a door frame, which is particularly versatile and reliable.
[0009] The invention relates to an extension device for a door frame. According to the invention, the extension device comprises a guide, which is configured to be fixed to an edge belonging to the door frame, and an extension, which is slidably mounted on the guide, parallel to a longitudinal direction of the extension device, the extension comprising a detection end and a drive end, opposite in the longitudinal direction, the extension being able to be positioned, relative to the guide, so that the drive and detection ends each protrude simultaneously from the guide in the longitudinal direction, the extension being configured to bear against a movable part of a fitting belonging to the door frame via the drive end, in the longitudinal direction.
[0010] An idea underlying the invention is that, since the extension is guided in sliding by the guide, itself fixed to the edge, the risk of the extension device becoming detached from the frame is particularly low, thus ensuring the reliability of the extension device. Indeed, it is easy to firmly secure the guide to the edge, for example using a fixing member such as a screw. Furthermore, since the extension is guided in sliding by the guide, its movement by the moving part of the fitting is carried out according to a single degree of freedom, which is a translation of the extension along the main axis, relative to the guide and the edge. Therefore, it is easy to provide arrangements for transmitting the movement of the moving part of the fitting to the extension, by transferring the movement of the moving part to this single degree of freedom. Therefore, it is not necessary to provide complex connection means between the extension and the moving part so that the position of the extension reflects the position of the moving part. For example, for this purpose, it is simply provided to place the moving part of the fitting in axial support against the extension. It follows that the extension device is particularly versatile, in that the extension, without means of connection with the moving part, or having simplified connection means, is easily adapted to several types of moving fitting parts.
[0011] In particular, the extension has no other support against the moving part than the support in the longitudinal direction, in particular no support in the opposite direction to the longitudinal direction. In particular, the extension is not fixed to the moving part of the fitting.
[0012] Preferably, the guide comprises a cover, along which the extension slides and which comprises a fixing orifice, configured to be crossed by a first fixing member, in a depth direction, perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, in order to fix the guide to the edge.
[0013] Preferably, the extender comprises a main oblong hole, which is adapted to be axially aligned with the fixing hole for several positions of the extender in the longitudinal direction, so as to be able to slide while being crossed by the first fixing member, when the first fixing member is received in the fixing hole.
[0014] Preferably, the extension comprises a secondary oblong orifice, which is disposed between the main oblong orifice and the drive end, the secondary oblong orifice being configured to be traversed by a second fixing member, in the depth direction.
[0015] Preferably, the cover comprises a bearing end, in the longitudinal direction, by means of which the cover is intended to come into axial support against a fixed part belonging to the fitting.
[0016] Preferably, the guide comprises two walls, which project from the hood, in the depth direction, the extension being received between the two walls so that the sliding of the extension is guided by the two walls. Preferably, the guide comprises a bridge, which connects the two walls together and which is opposite the hood, the extension being received between the bridge and the hood so that the sliding of the extension is guided by the hood and the bridge.
[0017] Preferably, the bridge is offset from the attachment hole parallel to the longitudinal direction, such that the first attachment member extends adjacent the bridge when the first attachment member is received in the attachment hole.
[0018] Preferably, the extension device comprises a permanent magnet, which is carried by the extender.
[0019] The invention also relates to a detection system, comprising the extension device defined above and a position detector, which is configured to detect the translational position of the extension relative to the guide, in the longitudinal direction, in particular the position of the detection end of the extension.
[0020] Preferably, to detect the translational position of the extension relative to the guide, the position detector comprises a feeler rod, which bears against the detection end of the extension in the longitudinal direction, so that the feeler rod and the extension are movable together parallel to the longitudinal direction.
[0021] The invention also relates to a door frame, comprising the detection system defined above, a frame, an opening leaf, which is mounted to move on the frame between an open position and a closed position, the edge, which belongs to the opening leaf or the frame, the extension device being fixed to the edge by means of the guide, so that the longitudinal direction is parallel to the edge, and the fitting, which is carried by the edge and which comprises the moving part.
[0022] The invention and other advantages thereof will appear more clearly in light of the following description of embodiments in accordance with the invention, given solely by way of example and with reference to the drawings below in which: [ Fig 1 ] There figure 1 is a partial perspective view of a door frame equipped with a detection system, including in particular a position detector and an extension device, according to a first embodiment in accordance with the invention. Fig 9 ] There figure 9 includes an exploded perspective view, showing an extension device and part of a frame according to a fourth embodiment, as well as two detail views for the assembly of this extension device.
[0023] There figure 1 shows a frame according to a first embodiment. The frame comprises a fixed frame 1, an opening frame 2, a position detector 9 and an extension device 6. The position detector 9 and the extension device 6 together form a detection system, shown in more detail with a part of the frame on the figures 2 And 3 . The extension device 6, shown alone on the figures 4 And 5 , includes a 60 extension and a 70 guide.
[0024] We define a longitudinal direction X70, a transverse direction Y70 and a depth direction Z70, which are perpendicular to each other and fixed relative to the guide 70.
[0025] The frame is currently a window, especially a sliding window. Alternatively, the frame is, for example, a door or a shutter, or any other similar frame, especially applicable to a building.
[0026] The frame 1 forms a frame, for example rectangular, which here extends parallel to the directions X70 and Z70 regardless of the position of the opening 2. The frame 1 delimits the opening of the frame, that is to say the opening of the frame, which can be closed or opened by the opening 2, depending on the position of the opening 2. The frame 1 preferably extends along a vertical plane, in particular in the case where the frame is integrated into a wall belonging to the building.
[0027] In the present example, the opening 2 is slidably mounted on the frame 1, for example using rails or any suitable means, so as to be movable in the direction Z70 relative to the frame 1, between an opening position, shown in the figure 1 , and a closing position. Alternatively, it could be provided that the opening is mounted swinging, i.e. pivoting about an axis parallel to the X70 direction, and / or oscillating, i.e. pivoting about an axis parallel to the Z70 direction, between a closing position and one or more opening positions. More generally, the opening is mounted mobile on the frame between at least one open position and one closed position.
[0028] The opening 2 comprises a frame, which delimits its outline and, preferably, a glazing mounted and framed by said frame. The opening 2 is preferably rectangular in shape, circumscribed within the frame of the fixed frame 1. The opening 2 extends here in a plane which is parallel to the directions X70 and Z70. The frame is here formed by four uprights, two vertical and two horizontal, including a vertical upright 26, parallel to the direction X70. The uprights are arranged in a rectangle around the glazing. The opening 2 comprises an edge 21, which is an external peripheral surface of the opening 2, delimiting its periphery. The edge 21 belongs to the frame of the opening 2. Longitudinally, the edge 21 extends here parallel to the direction X70. Transversely, the edge 21 extends parallel to the direction Y70. Likewise, the frame 1 includes an additional edge, not visible in the figures, which is an internal peripheral surface of the frame 1, delimiting its internal contour. The edge of the frame 1 belongs to the frame of the frame, being formed by at least one internal surface of an upright belonging to the frame of the frame, parallel to the upright 26. The edge 21 of the opening 2 and the edge of the frame 1 come to bear against each other in the direction Z70, when the opening 2 is in the closed position, to obtain the closure of the frame.
[0029] Amount 26 and edge 21 are more precisely visible on the figure 6 . In the example, the upright 26 is made up of a profile, which extends in the direction X70 and whose cross section is shown on the figure 6 . As a profile, the cross-section of the upright 26 is retained over the entire length of the upright 26 along the X70 direction, except for certain specific arrangements, for example to receive the detector 9 and / or a fitting control, discussed below.
[0030] Edge 21 constitutes the transverse side of upright 26 in a direction opposite to direction Z70. In the example, an opposite side of upright 26 receives the glazing.
[0031] The edge 21 advantageously comprises two flanges 29, which are opposite each other in the direction Y70. Preferably, the flanges 29 are at the same height in the direction Z70. Between the two flanges 29, the upright 26 forms a channel 30, which sinks towards the inside of the upright 26 relative to the flanges 29, in the direction Z70. The edge 21 preferably comprises at least one rebate, here two rebates 27, which project in a direction opposite to the direction Z70 relative to the flanges 29, being arranged on either side of the flanges 29. The rebates 27 form between them a groove 28, a bottom of which is formed by the flanges 29 and the channel 30. The groove 28 opens in the direction opposite to the direction Z70.The opening 2 advantageously comprises seals or other equipment carried by the rebates 27, facing towards the inside of the groove 28, to cooperate with the corresponding edge of the frame 1 when the opening is in the closed position, and to ensure sealing, acoustic insulation and / or other functions. More generally, the edge 21 presented here is a female edge, the groove 28 of which receives a male part complementary to the edge of the frame 1, when the opening 2 is in the closed position.
[0032] The frame comprises a fitting 22, for fixing the opening 2 relative to the frame 1, when the opening 2 is in the closed position. The fitting 22 adopts at least two distinct configurations, including a locking configuration and an unlocking configuration. Here, the configuration of the fitting 22 is controlled by a manual control 25, for example in the form of a handle carried by the upright 26. Alternatively, it could be provided that the fitting 22 is motorized, so that the control of its configuration is automatic. Here, the fitting 22 equips the edge 21 of the opening 2.
[0033] The fitting 22 is arranged along the edge 21, the greatest length of the fitting 22 extending in the direction X70. Here, the manual control 25 also equips the opening 2.
[0034] Alternatively, it could be provided that the fitting equips the edge of the frame 1.
[0035] The fitting 22 comprises a movable part 24, here in the form of a cremone bolt, and, preferably, a fixed part 23, here in the form of a faceplate. The fixed part 23 is fixed relative to the edge 21, by being fixed on the edge 21. The movable part 24 is movable relative to the edge 21 and to the fixed part 23, preferably according to a sliding movement parallel to the direction X70. More generally, by “movable part”, we mean a part of the fitting which takes distinct positions relative to the edge, relative to the fixed part of the fitting and / or relative to the frame of the opening. The cremone bolt and the faceplate of the present example are particularly suitable for a sliding opening such as the opening 2, but another type of fitting could be provided, in particular a fitting with a sliding pin, in the case of a swinging, tilting or tilt-and-turn opening.More generally, depending on the application, the fitting may include one or more moving parts to ensure the locking or unlocking of the opening. Here, the espagnolette is a part which ensures the locking and is at the same time used for the detection of the configuration of the fitting. Whatever the type of fitting, the fitting advantageously includes a transmission mechanism, not illustrated, by means of which the position of the moving part is controlled by the manual control, and / or by the possible motorization equipping the frame.
[0036] Here, it is planned to fix the extension device 6 and the position detector 9 on the opening 2, in particular on the edge 21 equipped with the movable part 24 of the fitting 22, so that the directions X70, Y70 and Z70 are fixed relative to the opening 2. Alternatively, for a frame where the movable part of the fitting would be equipped on an edge belonging to the frame, this edge would be equipped with the extension device and the position detector.
[0037] Parts 23 and 24 of fitting 22 are better seen on the figures 2 , 3 And 6 .
[0038] In the example illustrated, the fixed part 23, constituting a head plate, is generally in the form of a plate, extending along a plane parallel to the directions X70 and Y70. The head plate is elongated in the direction X70, and of reduced width in the direction Y70, thus forming a flat, or essentially flat, profile of constant width. As shown in the figures 1 And 6 , the fixed part 23 is fixed on the edge, being received in support on the edges 29, which fix the part 23 parallel to the directions Y70 and Z70. In particular, an inner face 37 belonging to the fixed part 23, turned in the direction Z70, is in support on the two edges 29 in the direction Z70. On the figure 6 , the part 23 is shown schematically in broken lines. Thus positioned, the fixed part 23 covers the channel 30 over part of its length in the direction X70. To be immobilized and fixed on the opening 2, it is preferentially provided that the fixed part 23 has one or more through orifices 31, each orifice 31 receiving a respective screw 32, implanted in the edge 21 in the direction Z70, here in the bottom of the channel 30. The screws 32 are shown schematically on the figure 1 and are symbolically represented by their axis line on the figures 2 And 3 , this axis line representing the orientation of the body of the screw, which is parallel to the direction Z70. Other means of fixing than the screws 32 and the orifices 31 are possible.
[0039] In the illustrated example, the movable part 24, constituting a cremone bolt, is generally in the form of a plate, extending along a plane parallel to the directions X70 and Y70. The cremone bolt is elongated in the direction X70, and of reduced width in the direction Y70, thus forming a flat, or essentially flat, profile of constant width. As shown in the figures 2 , 3 And 6 , the movable part 24 is arranged flat against the inner face 37 of the fixed part 23. On the figure 6 , the movable part 24 is shown in broken lines. In the example, the movable part 24 is received in the channel 30, against the fixed part 23. The movable part 24 is in sliding support against the fixed part 23, in the direction Z70. The fixed part 23 therefore covers the movable part 24, thus enclosing it in the channel 30. The channel 30 is sufficiently wide to allow the sliding of the movable part 24 parallel to the direction X70, relative to the edge 21 and to the fixed part 23. Optionally, the walls of the channel 30 ensure the positioning of the movable part 24 parallel to the direction Y70.
[0040] If screws 32 or similar means of fixing the fixed part 23 are provided, all or part of these screws 32 may have to pass through the movable part 24 parallel to the direction Z70 in order to be able to be implanted in the edge 21. In the example, this is the case for one of the screws 32, visible on the left on the figure 2 . So that the screw 32 passes through the movable part without hindering its translational movement in the direction X70, the movable part 24 advantageously comprises an oblong hole 33, through which the screw 32 passes through the movable part. The oblong hole 33 passes through the movable part 24 in the direction Z70 and has its greatest length in the direction X70. Optionally, the oblong hole 33, cooperating with the screw 32, guides the sliding of the movable part 24 in the direction X70.
[0041] In the present example, the fitting 22 includes a hook 34, which is fixedly secured to the movable part 24. When the opening 2 is in the closed position and the fitting 22 is in the locking configuration, the hook 34 cooperates with a latch, not shown, provided on the opposite edge, to keep the opening 2 closed. When the fitting 22 is in the unlocking configuration, the hook 34 and the latch are released from each other, allowing the opening 2 to be moved to the open position. Between the locking configuration and the unlocking configuration, the hook 34 is moved in translation parallel to the direction X70, under the action of the movable part 24 which carries it, while the movable part 24 is itself actuated by the control of the fitting 22. As shown in the figures 2 And 3, the hook 34 is fixed to the movable part 24, here by riveting, and projects from the movable part 24 in the opposite direction to the Z70 direction. In doing so, the hook 34 passes through the fixed part 23 via an oblong hole 35 made through the fixed part 23, visible on the figure 3 . The hook 34 therefore extends into the groove 28, or at least set back relative to the rebate(s) 27. The oblong hole 35 passes through the movable part 24 in the direction Z70 and has its greatest length in the direction X70. Optionally, the oblong hole 35, cooperating with the hook 34, or with a part at the base of the hook 34, guides the sliding of the movable part 24 in the direction X70. Alternatively, means other than the hook 34 may be provided to ensure the locking and unlocking of the opening 2, for example a pin or a bolt.
[0042] The extension device 6 is made in two main parts, one, consisting of the guide 70, being a part fixedly attached to the edge 21, the other, consisting of the extension 60, being movable with the movable part 24 of the fitting 22. The guide 70 is fixed to the edge 21, so that the direction X70 is parallel to the edge 21 and the direction Z70 is directed towards the inside of the upright 26 forming the edge 21. The guide 70 supports the extension 60 by ensuring sliding guidance of the extension 60 relative to the guide 70 parallel to the direction X70. In other words, the guide does not oppose a translation of the extension 60 parallel to the direction X70, but, with the exception of play, maintains the extension 60 in position in the direction of the directions Z70 and Y70. The guide 70 blocks the rotation of the extension 60 around an axis parallel to the direction Y70 and around an axis parallel to the direction Z70.Preferably, the guide 70 and the extension 60 are complementary to block the rotation of the extension 60 relative to the guide 70 around an axis parallel to the direction X70.
[0043] Preferably, as best visible on the figures 4 And 5 , the guide 70 comprises a cover 71, two low walls 72 and a bridge 73.
[0044] In the example, the cover 71 is in the form of a plate, which extends along a plane parallel to the directions X70 and Y70. As seen in the figures 2 , 3 And 6 , the guide 70 is mounted on the edge so that the cover 71 extends in the extension of the fixed part 23. Then, the fixed part 23 is in the direction X70 relative to the cover 71. Preferably, along the direction Y70, the cover 71 and the fixed part 23 are substantially of the same width, and, along the direction Z70, the cover 71 and the fixed part 23 are substantially of the same thickness.
[0045] As shown on the figure 6 , the cover 71 is received in abutment on the rims 29, which fix the cover 71 parallel to the directions Z70 and Y70. More precisely, the cover 71 comprises two opposite longitudinal sides 76, parallel to the direction X70, one being turned in the direction Y70, the other in the opposite direction. These two longitudinal sides 76 advantageously come to bear against the rims 29 in the direction Z70. One of the longitudinal sides 76 advantageously comes to bear against one of the rims 29 in the direction Y70, while the other advantageously comes to bear against the other of the rims 29 in the opposite direction. Preferably, by complementarity with the rims 29, the sides 76 also provide an anti-rotation function for the guide 70, for any direction.
[0046] The cover 71 advantageously comprises a bearing end 75, by means of which the cover 71 can come to bear, in the direction X70, against a longitudinal end 36 of the fixed part 23. In the example illustrated, the cover 71 is actually mounted so that the end 75 is thus in abutment. The bearing end 75 is here formed by a rectilinear edge of the cover 71, parallel to the direction Y70, and connecting the longitudinal sides 76 together. Similarly, the end 36 of the fixed part 23 is formed by a rectilinear edge of the fixed part 23, parallel to the direction Y70. By being thus supported, the end 75 makes it possible to position the guide 70 in the direction X70, relative to the edge 21 and / or to the fixed part 23. The support of the end 75 also ensures, if necessary, an anti-rotation function of the guide 70 around an axis parallel to the direction Z70.
[0047] Each wall 72 projects from the cover in the direction Z70. Each wall 72 is elongated in shape parallel to the direction X70. The walls 72 are parallel to each other and to the direction X70. The walls 72 are spaced apart from each other parallel to the direction Y70, so as to form a bridge with the cover 71. Each wall 72 advantageously extends from a longitudinal end 77 belonging to the cover 71, which is opposite the end 75. From the end 77, in the direction X70, each wall 72 advantageously extends all along the cover 71, and extends beyond the end 75. In other words, the cover 71 covers only part of the walls 72, in the direction X70. When the bearing end 75 is close to or bearing against the end 36 of the fixed part 23 of the fitting 22, the walls 72 therefore extend against the inner face 37 of the fixed part 23.The fixed part 23 therefore advantageously retains the guide 70 on the edge, by bearing against the part of the walls 72 protruding from the cover 71, in the direction Z70. In addition, the walls 72 can advantageously come to bear, one in the direction Y70, the other in the opposite direction, against the walls of the channel 30. The walls 72 therefore contribute to the positioning of the guide 70 on the edge 21. Preferably, each wall 72 has one or more ribs 78 laterally, as visible in the . figure 4 . For each wall 72, the ribs 78 are arranged on a face of the wall which is perpendicular to the direction Y70, and which is turned away from the other wall 72. These ribs 78, thus turned towards the walls of the channel 30, advantageously allow a tight mounting of the walls 72 in the channel 30, facilitating the immobilization of the guide 70 on the edge 21 while adapting the guide 70 to any variations in geometry of the edge 21. Preferably, it is provided that each wall 72 is positioned set back relative to the longitudinal side 76 of the cover 71, along which this wall 72 extends. In other words, each longitudinal side 76 projects, parallel to the direction Y70, relative to the corresponding wall 72. This allows the longitudinal sides 76 to come to bear against the edges 29 in the direction Z70. In the present example, the walls 72 are distant from the bottom of the channel 30, following the direction Z70.
[0048] In the example, the bridge 73 is in the form of a plate, which extends along a plane parallel to the directions X70 and Y70. The bridge 73 connects the walls 72 to each other. The bridge 73 is offset in the direction Z70 relative to the cover 71. The bridge 73 and the cover 71 are distant from each other along the direction Z70. In other words, each wall 72 connects the cover 71 to the bridge 73, on either side of the bridge 73, so that the bridge 73, the walls 72 and the cover 71 describe a closed-contour conduit shape around an axis parallel to the direction X70. Preferably, it is also provided that the bridge 73 is offset in the direction X70 relative to the cover 71. This makes it possible to guide the extension 60 over a greater distance, without penalizing the space required for the extension device 6. In particular, the bridge 73 extends only along the part of the walls 72 which protrudes from the cover 71.
[0049] Preferably, when the guide 70 is fixed on the edge 21, the movable part 24 of the fitting 22 extends substantially in the extension of the walls 72 and / or the bridge 73 in the direction X70, as visible in the figure 6 .
[0050] Depending on the geometry of the edge on which the device 6 is actually installed, different parts of the guide 70 can be used to support and position the guide 70 on the edge of the frame. For example, in the absence of edges 29, the longitudinal sides 76 may not come to bear against the edge, the support being provided by the walls 72. The cumulative presence of the walls and the cover 71 as described above makes it possible to adapt to most frame edge geometries.
[0051] Preferably, the guide 70 comprises a fixing orifice 79, which passes through the cover 71 from one side to the other, parallel to the direction Z70. Preferably, the orifice 79 is positioned in the center of the cover 71. In the direction Z70, the orifice 79 opens between the two walls 72. As clearly visible in the figure 5 , the bridge 73 is offset in the direction X70 relative to the orifice 79. The fixing orifice 79 is designed to receive a fixing member 80, such as a screw, for fixing the guide 70 on the edge 21. The screw 80 is shown schematically on the figure 1 and symbolized by its axis line on the figures 2 And 4. The screw 80 is implanted in the edge 21, in particular in the bottom of the channel 30, in the direction X70. Preferably, a single screw 80 is sufficient to fix the guide 70 on the edge 21, while the guide 70 has a complementary shape with the edge to be positioned on the edge. The fact of providing a single screw 80 facilitates the installation of the guide 70 on the edge 21. The orifice 79 opening between the two walls 72 and the bridge 73 being offset relative to the orifice 79, the passage of the screw 80 is not hindered by the bridge 73 and the walls 72, the screw 80 passing next to it.
[0052] In the example, the extension 60 forms a flat part, in a plane parallel to the directions X70 and Y70, and which is elongated along the direction X70. The extension 60 is of generally rectangular shape in this plane. The extension 60 passes through the conduit formed by the cover 71, the walls 72 and the bridge 73, to be guided in sliding along the direction X70 by the guide 70, relative to the guide 70. In other words, the extension 60 is arranged, along the direction Y70, between the two walls 72, to be held in position in this direction, and is arranged, along the direction Z70, between the cover 71 and the bridge 73, to be held in position in this direction. The extension 60 is flat against the cover 71 and against the bridge 73.
[0053] Preferably, as visible on the figure 5 , each wall 72 has tabs 81, here two per wall 72, to improve the guidance of the sliding of the extension 60. Each tab 81 extends in the same plane as the bridge 73. From the wall 72 concerned, each tab 81 projects parallel to the direction Y70, in the direction of the opposite wall 72. Along the direction Z70, the tabs 81 are arranged opposite the cover 71, while nevertheless being offset relative to the orifice 79. The tabs 81 thus contribute to guiding the sliding of the extension 60 without hindering the passage of the screw 80.
[0054] Preferably, the extension 60 comprises an oblong orifice 61, called the “main oblong orifice”, which passes through the extension 60 from one side to the other in the direction Z70. The greatest length of the oblong orifice 61 extends parallel to the direction X70. For a substantial part of the sliding travel of the extension 60, the oblong orifice 61 falls opposite the orifice 79, that is to say that the oblong orifice 61 is aligned with the orifice 79 in the direction Z70. In other words, for several positions of the extension 60 relative to the guide 70 parallel to the direction X70, a part of the orifice 61 is aligned with the orifice 79, in the direction Z70. Thus, the screw 80 successively passes through the orifice 79 and the orifice 61, without preventing the sliding movement of the extension 60, the oblong orifice 61 sliding around the screw 80.Thanks to the screw 80, cooperating with longitudinal ends of the orifice 61, the extension 60 is advantageously limited in its sliding travel.
[0055] As visible on the figure 6 , the movable part 24 of the fitting 22 is in the extension of the extension 60, in the direction X70 when the latter is mounted on the edge 21. The extension 60 aims precisely to extend the movable part 24. In the direction X70, the extension 60 comprises an end 62, called the “drive end”, by means of which the extension 60 comes to bear, in the direction X70, against an end 38 of the movable part 24 of the fitting 22. For example, as visible in the figures, the end 62 forms a bearing face which extends perpendicular to the direction X70. Thus resting against the extension 60, the movable part 24 is movable with the extension 60 relative to the guide 70, to the edge 21 and to the fixed part 23. The movable part 24 carries with it the extension 60, the extension 60 reflects the position of the movable part 24. No other support is provided between the movable part 24 and the extension 60.The extension 60 is not fixed, or even attached, to the movable part 24 but is simply supported in the direction X70.
[0056] Preferably, the extension 60 comprises an oblong orifice 63, called a “secondary oblong orifice”, which passes through the extension 60 from one side to the other in the direction Z70. The orifice 63 is arranged between the orifice 61 and the end 62. The greatest length of the oblong orifice 63 extends parallel to the direction X70. For a substantial part of the sliding travel of the extension 60, the oblong orifice 63 falls opposite one of the orifices 31 of the fixed part 23, that is to say that the oblong orifice 63 is aligned with this orifice 31 in the direction Z70. In other words, for several positions of the extension 60 relative to the guide 70 parallel to the direction X70, a part of the orifice 63 is aligned with this orifice 31, in the direction Z70. Thus, the screw 32 successively passes through this orifice 31 and the orifice 63, without preventing the sliding movement of the extension 60, the oblong orifice 63 sliding around the screw 32.Thanks to the screw 32, cooperating with longitudinal ends of the orifice 63, the extension 60 is advantageously limited in its sliding travel.
[0057] The position detector 9 comprises a feeler rod 91 and a housing 92, which supports the feeler rod 91.
[0058] The detector 9 is configured to be fixed on the edge 21, via the housing 92, so that the housing 92 is fixed relative to the edge 21. For this, as shown in the figure 6 , the housing 92 is preferably received in a blind bore 39, or recess, belonging to the upright 26. The bore 39 is formed hollow in the upright 26 in the direction Z70, here from the edges 29. Here, the bore 39 passes through the bottom of the channel 30. In other words, the bore 39 and the channel 30 are aligned, parallel to the direction X70.
[0059] In the present example, the housing 92 is of generally parallelepipedal shape, being of elongated shape along the direction X70, and of narrow shape along the direction Y70. The housing 92 and the bore 39 are of complementary shape. Parallel to the direction X70, the housing 92 comprises two longitudinal ends 95 and 96. The end 95 is turned in the direction X70 while the end 96 is in the opposite direction. At the end 95, the housing 92 forms a transverse wall, called the front wall or outlet wall, which here has a rounded fillet shape, to correspond to the shape of the bore 39. At the end 96, the housing 92 comprises another transverse wall, or rear wall, of similar shape to the front wall. The housing 92 comprises four longitudinal walls, connecting the end wall 95 to the end wall 96, and extending parallel to the direction X70.
[0060] As shown on the figures 2 And 3, when the housing 92 is fixed on the edge 21, the end 95 is turned towards the movable part 24 of the fitting 22, and is in alignment with said movable part 24, parallel to the direction X70.
[0061] To be fixed to the edge 21, the housing 92 comprises fixing means, which are for example formed by two fixing lugs 97 and 98, each carried by one of the ends 95 and 96. Each lug 97 and 98 advantageously bears, parallel to the direction Z70, against a surface of the edge 21. One of the lugs 97 and 98, or each lug 97 and 98, is advantageously fixed using a respective screw, not shown, or any similar fixing means, implanted in the edge 21 along the direction Z70. As visible on the figure 6 , the ear 97 is advantageously without screws and advantageously comes to bear against the bottom of the channel 30, in the opposite direction to the direction Z70, that is to say under the surface of the edge 21 or by pinching the bottom of the channel 30. From then on, the housing 92 is attached to the edge 21 by the ear 97. In this case, provision is advantageously made for fixing the ear 98 by screws or similar fixing means. Depending on the frame, a different fixing method may be provided for the same housing 92. Provision may also be made for the housing 92 to comprise other fixing means on the edge than those of the present example, including in particular a system of staples or flanges.
[0062] The rod 91 passes through an opening provided at the end 95 of the housing 92, so as to be partly outside the housing 92 and partly inside. The rod 91 includes a feeler end, which is outside the housing 92 and visible on the figures 2 And 3, and a rear end, which is inside the housing 92 and is therefore not visible in the figures. The rod 91 is movable relative to the housing 92, sliding parallel to the direction X70. This sliding is guided by the housing 92, in particular by the opening provided at the end 95. It is provided that the detector 9 is positioned so that the position of the feeler rod 91 relative to the housing 92 reflects, at any time, the position of the movable part 24 relative to the fixed part 23 of the fitting 22, so that the detector 9 can detect the current position of the movable part 24 by detecting the current position of the feeler rod 91.
[0063] When the detector 9 and the extension device 6 are mounted on the edge 21, the feeler end of the rod 91 bears, in the direction X70, against the extension 60. In other words, the extension 60 is interposed between the movable part 24 and the feeler end of the rod 91, parallel to the longitudinal direction X70. The extension 60 therefore serves as an extension for the feeler rod 91, in order to reach the movable part 24 and to link the position of the movable part 24 to that of the feeler rod 91 parallel to the longitudinal direction X70. By means of the extension 60, the position of the feeler rod 91 reflects that of the movable part 24.
[0064] More precisely, the extension 60 is in the extension of the rod 91, in the direction X70. The extension 60 aims precisely to extend the rod 91 to connect it to the movable part 24. Opposite the end 62, in the opposite direction to the direction X70, the extension 60 comprises an end 64, called the “detection end”, by means of which the feeler end of the rod 91 comes to bear against the extension 60 in the direction X70. For example, as visible in the figures, the end 64 forms a bearing face which extends perpendicular to the direction X70.The extension device 6 therefore serves as an adapter, to allow the detector to feel the position of the movable part 24 of the fitting 22, whereas, without the extension device 6, it would have been difficult or even impossible to correctly install the detector 9 on this frame, since the movable part 24 of the fitting 22 is difficult to access, in particular because it is covered by the fixed part 23, and set back in the direction X70 relative to the fixed part 23. The interposition of the extension device 6 advantageously avoids having to design another detector, the rod of which would have a shape specifically provided for the fitting 22.
[0065] Advantageously, the detector 9 comprises a spring, which is received inside the housing 92, and which exerts a spring force on the rod 91, by bearing on the housing 92, tending to move the rod 91 in the direction X70 relative to the housing 92. By "spring force", is meant an elastic return force generated under the effect of an elastic deformation of the spring, to return to its rest position. For example, the spring is a compression spring interposed parallel to the direction X70 between the internal rear end of the rod 91 and an internal support wall belonging to the housing 92. The spring keeps the rod 91 bearing against the extension 60 in the direction X70, which also causes the extension 60 to bear against the movable part 24 in the direction X70.We therefore take advantage of this spring equipping the detector 9 to secure the mobile part 24, the extension 60 and the rod 91 in the direction X70, so that it is not necessary to attach the mobile part 24, the extension 60 and the rod 91 together to link their position in the direction X70.
[0066] Alternatively, provision could be made to attach the extension 60 to the rod 91 and / or to the movable part 24 of the fitting 22 to link their position along the direction X70, in particular in the case where the detector 9 does not include such a spring,
[0067] To detect the position of the rod 91 relative to the housing 92, the detector 9 comprises on-board electronic means, which are received inside the housing 92. The electronic means comprise, for example, a position sensor system, including a marker in the form of a permanent magnet, carried by the rear end of the rod 91 and one or more Hall effect sensors which return an electrical state which varies as a function of the position of the marker, and therefore as a function of the rod. Of course, any other sensor system can be provided instead of or in addition to this one.
[0068] The electronic means further comprise an electronic analyzer, as well as an electronic transmitter. The electronic means advantageously comprise an electronic card, such as a printed circuit, carrying surface components and / or integrated circuits to form the electronic analyzer and transmitter, and optionally carrying a part of the sensor system, here the Hall effect sensors.
[0069] The electronic analyzer is an electronic system, comprising for example a processor implementing a computer code stored on a memory, these elements being here formed by the surface components of the electronic card. Functionally, the analyzer is designed to determine the longitudinal position of the movable part 24 of the fitting 22, on the basis of the state of the sensor system, here on the basis of the values taken by the respective states of the Hall effect sensors detecting the indicator carried by the rod 91. For this, the sensor system is electronically connected to the analyzer. On this basis, the electronic analyzer generates information on the position of the rod 91 relative to the housing 92, which depends on the position of the rod 91, and therefore reflects the position of the movable part 24.
[0070] The transmitter is an electronic system, comprising for example a processor implementing a computer code stored on a memory, these elements being here formed by the surface components of the electronic card. The transmitter comprises for example a wireless transmitter, such as a radio transmitter comprising an antenna, designed to transmit the position information of the rod 91, provided by the electronic analyzer, to a third-party device, separate from the detector 9, and positioned outside the housing 92, or even at a distance from the frame. The third-party device may comprise a display, an interface, or any similar means, aimed at informing a user of the current functional position of the movable part 24 of the fitting 22, based on the position information.
[0071] If necessary, a more detailed example of a detector suitable for this application is described in application FR3102787A1.
[0072] It is noted that, in the configuration of the figure 7 , the extension 60 is not in the same position relative to the guide 70, relative to the position of the extension 60 on the figures 2-6 , which illustrates the ability of the extension 60 to slide along the guide 70.
[0073] As visible in particular on the figure 4 , it is provided that, for at least one position of the extension 60 in its sliding relative to the guide 70 in the direction X70, the end 62 protrudes from the guide 70 in the direction X70, and the end 64 protrudes from the guide in the opposite direction to the direction X70. In the example, the end 62 protrudes from a longitudinal end of the guide 70 formed by the bridge 73 and the walls 72, in the direction X70. Conversely, the end 64 protrudes from the end 77. In other words, in the direction X70, the guide 70 is shorter than the extension 60. For this purpose, it is provided that a length of the extension 60 is at least 1.2 times, or even at least 1.5 times, for example 1.8 times a length of the guide 70.This allows the sliding of the extension 60 to be carried out over a significant distance with the two ends 62 and 64 protruding from the guide 70 at the same time, to allow the recovery of the movement of the movable part 24 by the drive end 62 and the detection of the position of the movable part 24 by means of the detection of the position of the detection end 64. Preferably, when the device 6 is mounted on the frame, the two ends 62 and 64 thus protrude, for any position of the movable part 24, or at least for the locking and unlocking positions of the frame by the movable part 24. The ends 62 and 64 thus protruding, it is easy to position the device 6 so that said ends 62 and 64 are supported on the movable part 24 and on the rod 91 over the entire travel of the movable part 24.This makes it possible in particular to position the drive end 64 against the movable part 24, including when the latter is hidden under the fixed part 23, while freely having the detection end 64 protruding relative to the guide 70 to be able to detect the position of this detection end 64. This prevents in particular the movable part 24, or the rod 91, when their size is significant, from being likely to collide with the guide 70. By "length of the extension", we mean a distance measured parallel to the direction X70, connecting the end 62 to the end 64. By "length of the guide", we mean a distance measured parallel to the direction X70, connecting the opposite longitudinal ends of the guide 70.
[0074] For all embodiments of the figures 7 and following, identical reference signs refer to characteristics identical to those of the other embodiments, or having the same function. From one embodiment to another, reference signs of the same value but increased by one hundred are used to designate similar characteristics, or of the same function, but which are presented in a different form.
[0075] There figure 7 shows a second embodiment, with the extension device 6 identical to that of the figures 1 à 6 , associated with another fitting 122, which is identical to the fitting 22, except for the following differences.
[0076] The fixed part 123 of the fitting 122 differs from the fixed part 23 only in that the fixed part 123 has two pairs of walls 140 and 141, whereas the fixed part 23 does not include such walls and is generally planar in shape. The pairs of walls 140 and 141 are distributed along the fixed part 123, in the direction X70. Each pair of walls 140 and 141 forms two guide tabs, sometimes called "punched", which project in the direction Z70. The two walls 140 are aligned in the direction Y70, and, in this direction, extend on either side of the movable part 24, to ensure their translational guidance parallel to the direction X70. Indeed, the walls 140 limit the movement of the movable part 24 parallel to the direction Y70.Likewise, the walls 141 are aligned along the direction Y70, and, in this direction, extend on either side, either of the extension 60, or of the mobile part 24 depending on their position along the direction X70, determined by the current configuration of the fitting 22. When the mobile part 24 is received between the two walls 141, these walls contribute to ensuring the guidance of the mobile part in translation parallel to the direction X70, like the walls 140. On the . figure 7 , the mobile part 24 is in a position where it is the extension 60 which is arranged between the walls 141.
[0077] Due to the presence of the walls 141, it would have been difficult to design a detector whose feeler rod could be received between the walls 141 to reach the movable part 24 without being hindered in its movement. The extension device 6 makes it possible to solve this technical problem, in that it is easier to design that the extension 60 has a suitable shape, to be received between the walls 141, without hindering its mobility in the direction X70.
[0078] Furthermore, if the detector 9 incorporates a spring producing a spring force keeping the rod 91 pressed in the direction X70 against the extension 60, it is not obligatory to provide an attachment between the mobile part 24 and the extension 60, so that it is particularly easy to design that the extension 60 is sufficiently thin so as not to be hindered in its movement by said walls 141.
[0079] There figure 8 shows a third embodiment, with an extension device 206, which is identical to the extension device 6 of the figures 1 à 7 , except for the following differences. For the extension device 206, the extension 260 replaces the extension 60, and is identical to the extension 60 except for the following differences. Instead of the drive end 62 provided for the extension 60, the extension 260 has a drive end 262, which performs the same functions and is arranged similarly to the drive end 62, except that the end 262 carries a permanent magnet 265. In other words, the extension device 206 comprises a permanent magnet 265, which is carried by the extension 260, here at the drive end 262. The magnet 265 is fixed to the extension 260 and is therefore movable with the extension 260.
[0080] In the case where the movable part 24 is metallic, the magnet 265, carried at the drive end 262, has the main function of ensuring that contact is maintained in the direction X70, between the end 38 of the movable part 24 and the extension 260, to ensure that the extension 260 is movable with the movable part 24. Providing a permanent magnet 265 is more compact than providing another attachment method, making the extension 260 more versatile and adaptable to many types of fittings. Indeed, the magnet 265 can be inserted into the extension, for example by being force-mounted and / or held by teeth in a recess provided at the end of the extension 260, without the magnet 265 exceeding the dimensions of the extension 260 in the directions X70 or Z70.Providing support maintenance by the magnet 265 is particularly useful in the case where the position detector is not equipped with a spring maintaining the support of the extension and the rod against the movable part 24, or if this spring provides insufficient force to ensure this maintenance.
[0081] Alternatively or in addition, a magnet (not shown) similar to the magnet 265 is carried by the detection end of the extension. In the same way as the magnet 265, it can be inserted into the extension, for example by being force-mounted and / or held by teeth in a recess provided at the end of the extension 260, without the magnet protruding beyond the dimensions of the extension 260 in the X70 or Z70 directions. This magnet can be used to detect the position of the movable part 24 by a position detector different from the detector 9, and the detection of which is carried out using sensors capable of detecting the magnet remotely using the electromagnetic field, in particular a detector without a feeler rod. In operation, it is therefore demarcated from the fixed fitting and therefore more easily detectable.According to this design, the extension device is suitable for both the sensor 9 with a safety rod and / or for this other type of position sensor. The magnet therefore increases the versatility of the extension device. The position sensor other than the sensor 9 can in this application case be mounted on the frame 1 of the door frame.
[0082] There figure 9 shows a fourth embodiment, including an extension device 306, which includes a guide 370 and an extender 360. The figure 9 also shows a fixed portion 323 of a fitting 322. Except for the fixed portion 323, the fitting 322 is identical to the fitting 22 and includes the movable portion 24, which is not shown in the figure 9 The fixed part 323 is identical to the fixed part 23, except that the longitudinal end 338 of the fixed part 323 is further from the orifice 31 than is the longitudinal end 38, parallel to the direction X70.
[0083] In the example, the extension 360 forms a flat part in a plane parallel to the directions X70 and Y70, and which is elongated along the direction X70. The extension 360 is of generally rectangular shape in this plane. Like the extension 60, the extension 360 slides parallel to the direction X70 relative to the fixed part 323 and to the guide 370, being interposed, along the direction Z70, between the feeler rod 91 of the detector 9, which bears against the detection end 64 of the extension 360, and the movable part 24 of the fitting 322, which bears against the drive end 62 of the extension 360.
[0084] The extension 360 comprises an oblong hole 363, which passes through the extension 360 from one side to the other in the direction Z70. The greatest length of the oblong hole 363 extends parallel to the direction X70. For a substantial part of the sliding travel of the extension 360, the oblong hole 363 falls opposite the hole 31 of the fixed part 323 of the fitting 322, that is to say that the oblong hole 363 is aligned with the hole 31 in the direction Z70. A screw 380, or a similar fixing member, passes successively through the hole 31 and the hole 363, and is implanted in the guide 370 to fix the guide 370 to the fixed part 323, as explained below. The arrangement of the oblong orifice 363 means that the sliding of the extension 360 parallel to the direction X70, relative to the guide 370 and to the fixed part 323 is not prevented by the screw 380, the oblong orifice 363 sliding around the screw 380.
[0085] Preferably, the extension 360 is devoid of the oblong orifices 61 and 63 described above, and comprises only the oblong orifice 363.
[0086] For this embodiment, the oblong orifice 363 forms the connection for guiding the sliding of the extension 360. For this purpose, the guide 370 comprises a guide stud 382, which passes through the oblong orifice 363 parallel to the direction Z70. The guide 370 also comprises a base 383, from which the guide 370 projects in the opposite direction to the direction Z70. The extension 360 is arranged between the base 383 and the fixed part 323 of the fitting 322 in the direction Z70. Preferably, the base 383 is a flat part in a plane parallel to the directions X70 and Y70, and can for example bear on the edges 29 belonging to the edge 21, so that the positioning of the guide 370 is ensured, and, in particular, is locked in rotation about an axis parallel to the direction Z70.
[0087] Ultimately, the extension 360 is guided in sliding in that its movement is limited parallel to the direction Z70 by the fixed part 323 and by the base 383, and in that its movement is limited parallel to the direction Y70 by cooperation of the oblong orifice 363 with the guide stud 382. Around an axis parallel to the direction Z70, the extension 360 is prevented from rotating by complementarity of the oblong orifice 363 and the stud 382, in that the stud is of elongated, or oblong, shape in the direction X70.
[0088] Preferably, the guide 370 is fixed to the edge using the screw 380, which is implanted in the guide 370, in particular in the stud 382, in the direction Z70.
[0089] Given that the guide 370 is not very thick along the Z70 direction, it is advantageous to provide that the guide 370 comprises two deformable fins 384, at the top of the stud 382, to reinforce the implantation of the screw 380 in the guide 370 and the holding of the fixing of the guide 370 on the fixed part 323. The fins 384 evolve between an initial configuration, shown on the exploded view of the figure 9 and on detail 9A of the figure 9 , where the fins 384 project in the opposite direction to the Z70 direction, presenting a reduced radial size to be able to pass through the orifice 31, and to protrude in the opposite direction to the Z70 direction. As shown in detail 9B of the figure 9, the implantation of the screw 380 in the stud 382 through the orifice 31 deforms the fins 384 to a deployed configuration, where the fins 384 are folded radially, so that the end of each fin 384 is hooked onto the edge of the orifice 31 by being pressed there by the head of the screw 380. In the folded configuration, one end of each fin 384 bears on the fixed part 323, so that the fixed part 323 is sandwiched between the end of the fin 384 and the stud 382. In the folded configuration, the fins 384 thus form an anchor, which securely hooks the guide onto the fixed part 323 of the fitting 322.
[0090] Alternatively, a single deformable fin 384 may be provided, or a number of fins 384 other than two.
[0091] Any feature described for one of the embodiments or a variation above may be implemented in any other embodiment or variation described above, as far as technically possible.
