Description

TECHNICAL AREA

[0001] The invention relates to a safety device for a trough of an underground waste container according to the preamble of claim 1. STATE OF THE ART

[0002] Underground waste containers with a disposal column have been known for some time and have been distributed by Villiger Entsorgungssysteme AG in Oberrüti, Switzerland, for decades. To ensure safety when emptying an underground waste container, the company has been selling a safety platform for over 15 years, which is raised by concrete counterweights when the underground waste container is lifted. Figure 1Figure 1 shows a known underground waste container 1 with a disposal column 2, which is lifted from a pit 3 (see arrow A). To secure the pit 3, a safety device 4 is provided with a frame 5 made of vertical steel beams 6 and lower and upper braces 7 and 8. Longitudinal grooves are cut into the beams 6, into which a concrete slab 9 is guided laterally. As can be seen, four concrete slabs 9 are provided. By means of pulleys and steel cables, a platform 10 is automatically moved upwards by the concrete slabs 9 as a counterweight when the underground waste container 1 is lifted (see arrows B in Figure 1). Figure 1 ). When the underground waste container 1 has been completely lifted out of the pit 3, the platform 10 is almost level with the ground (see arrows C in Figure 2), so that a person cannot fall into the pit 3. This known safety device 4 is designed for a maximum permissible weight of 150 kg. Therefore, if several people are on the raised platform 10, it can unexpectedly move downwards again, meaning that accidents cannot be ruled out. A higher weight for the concrete slabs 9 could provide greater safety, which would require stronger steel cables and stronger supports 6.

[0003] FR 2 809 474 B1 discloses a safety device for a trough of an underground waste container. TASK OF INVENTION

[0004] The present invention is based on the objective of improving a safety device for a trough of an underground waste container in such a way that a significantly higher level of safety against accidents can be ensured.

[0005] This problem is solved by a safety device for a trough of an underground waste container with the features of claim 1.

[0006] The invention has the advantage that a safe release of the locking mechanism is ensured when lifting an underground waste container. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0007] Further advantages of the invention will follow from the dependent claims and from the following description, in which the invention is explained in more detail with reference to an embodiment illustrated in the schematic drawings. These drawings show: Fig. 3 shows a safety device for underground waste containers in perspective view, Fig. 4 shows an upper section of the safety device. Figure 3 Fig. 5 shows a representation of the safety device with a lowered platform without an underground waste container. Fig. 6 shows a lower section of the safety device. Figure 5 , Fig. 7 shows a locking mechanism according to the invention for the platform in cross-section in the locked state, and Fig. 8 shows the locking mechanism according to the invention in cross-section in the unlocked state.

[0008] The same reference symbols have been used for the same elements in the figures, and initial explanations apply to all figures unless explicitly stated otherwise.

[0009] In the Figures 3 to 6 Is the safety device 4 as described in the Figures 1 and 2 shown, wherein the platform 10 has two locking mechanisms 15, which are described in detail in the Figures 7 and 8These locking devices 15 are arranged in the center and on opposite sides of the platform 10 so that an underground waste container placed on it can reliably release the locking devices. In practice, it has been found that four such locking devices at the corners of the platform 10 led to significant problems with release.

[0010] As in the Figures 3 and 4 As can be seen, an eyelet 12 is provided below the upper strut 8, into which a locking pin 15 of the locking mechanism 14 protrudes in the locked state.

[0011] In Figure 7The locking mechanism 14 is shown with a toggle lever mechanism 16, which includes a pull rod 17, a connecting piece 18, and a lever arm 19. The lever arm 19 is rotatably mounted about a pin 20 attached to the platform 10. A slot 21 is provided in the pull rod 17 so that the reciprocating movement of the pull rod 17 is limited by the pin 20. The connecting piece 18 is rotatably attached at its ends by pins 22 and 23, respectively, between the pull rod 17 and the lever arm 19. A compression spring 24 is provided between the locking pin 15 and the pull rod 17 so that the lever arm 19 projects upwards in the locked position.

[0012] In Figure 8The lever arm 19 is pressed downwards by an underground waste container 1 (not shown), so that the pull rod 17 is pulled to the right by means of the connecting piece 18 and thus the locking pin 14 is retracted, and the platform 10 can be pressed downwards (see figure). Figure 1 ).
