Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a housing for a door drive, in particular for a door closer, comprising a cover and at least one side cap for covering a front opening of the cover in a covering position of the side cap. Furthermore, the invention relates to a door drive, in particular a door closer, comprising a housing.
[0002] Door drives and their housings are generally well known. Door drives are used, for example, as door closers to enable the automatic movement of a door leaf for a closing process. The actual drive of the door drive is usually located in a closer body, which is covered by a door drive housing. This protects the drive from dirt, damage, and / or unauthorized access. Such housings, both specifically for door drives and other, similarly constructed housings, can be found, for example, in documents EP 2 754 828 A2, EP 0 508 192 A2, CN 201 943 496 U, or DE 10 2019 209409 A1.
[0003] In the case of housings for door operators, it may be necessary, in particular, to cover the end faces of the housing with special side caps. These side caps are attached, for example, via contours protruding from the closer body (see, for example, DE 10 2004 012 637 B4). However, this type of attachment increases the dimensions of the entire door operator. This increases the installation space requirements for the door operator.
[0004] The object of the present invention is to at least partially remedy the above-described disadvantages of known housings for door drives and of prior art door drives. In particular, the object of the present invention is to provide a housing for a door drive and a door drive that has at least one separate side cap for covering one end face of the door drive, which is easy to attach and simultaneously has a space-saving design.
[0005] The above object is achieved by the patent claims. In particular, the object is achieved by a housing for a door drive having the features of independent claim 1, as well as by a door drive having the features of independent claim 18. Further features and advantages of the housing according to the invention or of the door drive according to the invention emerge from the subclaims, the description, and the drawings. Features and advantages described with reference to a housing according to the invention can also be provided by a door drive according to the invention, so that the various solutions to the above object are or can be mutually referenced.
[0006] According to a first embodiment of the invention, the object is achieved by a housing for a door drive, in particular for a door closer, comprising a cover and at least one side cap for covering a front opening of the cover in a covering position of the side cap. According to the invention, the cover has a groove arrangement with two L-shaped groove arms extending along an insertion direction, which are arranged inside the cover on a surface element of the cover and form a respective groove receptacle, wherein the groove receptacles face one another, wherein a fastening element is further arranged on the side cap, which is aligned in the insertion direction, wherein the fastening element can be inserted into the groove arrangement of the cover in the insertion direction until the covering position of the side cap is reached and is fixed in the groove arrangement in a force-fitting and / or form-fitting manner when the side cap is in the covering position.
[0007] The housing according to the invention is intended for use with a door drive, in particular a door closer. The main component of the housing is a cover, the longitudinal extent of which is preferably shaped to match the size of the door drive or its closer body. "Adapted shape" within the meaning of the invention means in particular that the cover is at least as long as the closer body of the door drive, but can also be longer. In other words, the cover preferably covers the entire closer body along its longitudinal extent. Recesses in the cover, for example for passing through a drive shaft of the door drive and / or for display or operating elements, are possible.
[0008] The hood of the housing according to the invention is preferably substantially U-shaped with two leg sides and a base side arranged between them. Thus, on at least one end side of the housing, an end opening remains free and uncovered by the hood. To cover such an end opening, a side cap is provided according to the invention. The side cap can be brought into a covering position in which the side cap covers the end opening, wherein the side cap in this covering position preferably rests in direct contact with the hood. For this purpose, the side cap has an appropriate size so that a complete covering of the end opening is ensured. The size of the side cap is preferably further selected such that the side cap does not protrude beyond the hood in its covering position.
[0009] Essential to the invention is that the side cap is fixed to the hood in its covering position with a force-locking and / or positive fit. For this purpose, the hood has a groove arrangement into which a fastening element of the side cap can be inserted along an insertion direction. In a substantially U-shaped hood, the groove arrangement can preferably be arranged on the base side. The groove arrangement and the fastening element are designed to be coordinated with one another in such a way that a positive engagement and thus guidance of the fastening element during insertion along the insertion direction into or through the groove arrangement is possible.
[0010] To form the groove arrangement, two groove arms are arranged on a surface element inside the hood. Both groove arms form a groove receptacle, with the two groove receptacles aligned facing each other. The fastening element of the side cap can be inserted into these groove receptacles, with the fastening element engaging in both groove receptacles and being guided through them. Like the entire groove arrangement and the fastening element, the two groove receptacles extend along the insertion direction and are aligned parallel to each other. The extension of the groove receptacles along the insertion direction is in particular at least long enough for the fastening element to be inserted into the groove arrangement until the side cap has reached its covering position. The groove receptacles preferably have a constant cross-section along the insertion direction perpendicular to the insertion direction. This makes inserting the fastening element particularly easy. The groove arms are L-shaped, with the groove receptacles partially formed by a section of the surface element.
[0011] The fastening element is arranged on the side cap and extends along the insertion direction. In the case of a flat side cap, this orientation of the fastening element can be transverse, preferably perpendicular, to the side cap. The fastening element is further designed such that it fixes the side cap in its covering position to the groove arrangement and thus to the hood in a force-fitting and / or form-fitting manner. For this purpose, the fastening element can, for example, exert a force on components of the groove arrangement, whereby the fastening element is tensioned or clamped in the groove arrangement. Engagement of corresponding parts of the fastening element in suitably designed elements of the groove arrangement, thereby creating a form-fitting connection transverse to the insertion direction, is also conceivable.
[0012] In other words, when the side cap is in its covering position, the fastening element interacts with the groove arrangement in such a way that unintentional or accidental removal of the side cap from the covering position is prevented. This ensures that the front opening of the housing is covered.
[0013] In summary, a housing according to the invention enables a secure enclosure or covering of a door drive, in particular its closer body. At the same time, the arrangement and fixation of the side cap directly on the cover of the housing according to the invention eliminates the need for elements that protrude from the closer body for such an arrangement and fixation of the side cap. Thus, the requirements regarding the size of the installation space required for the door drive can be reduced.
[0014] In the housing according to the invention, the fastening element has a base body aligned in the insertion direction and a fixing device arranged on the base body, wherein the base body has two longitudinal sides which are at least partially spaced apart by a maximum width perpendicular to the insertion direction, so that the base body engages with each longitudinal side in one of the groove receptacles during insertion, and wherein the fixing device can be brought during and / or after insertion from an initial position into a fixing position in which the at least one fixing device fixes the side cap in its covering position in the groove arrangement in a force-fitting and / or form-fitting manner. In other words, in the inventive embodiment of the housing according to the invention, it is provided that the fastening element essentially has two sections, namely a base body and a fixing device. As explained below, these two sections are designed to perform different tasks.
[0015] In particular, the base body extends transversely to the insertion direction, ensuring that the base body engages in both groove receptacles of the groove arrangement of the hood. The two longitudinal sides of the base body, which are at least partially spaced apart in the maximum width, are thus arranged, in particular contacting, in one of the groove receptacles during and after the insertion of the fastening element into the groove arrangement. In other words, these longitudinal sides and thus the base body of the fastening element guide the fastening element during and after the insertion into the groove arrangement.
[0016] Since, as explained above, the fastening element is already guided through the base body in the groove arrangement, the additional fixing device can be specifically designed to effect the force-fitting and / or form-fitting fixing of the side cap in the groove arrangement. For this purpose, it is provided that the fixing device can assume an initial position and a fixing position. The initial position is the position which the fixing device assumes before the fastening element is inserted into the groove arrangement. During and / or after completion of the insertion, the fixing device can now be brought into a fixing position which is different from the initial position. The housing according to the invention is characterized in that the moving of the fixing device from the initial position into the fixing position is effected in particular by an elastic design of the fixing device itself orThis can be achieved by an elastic arrangement of the fixing device on the base body. In particular, the fixing position of the fixing device is selected such that a force-locking and / or positive-locking of the side cap in the groove arrangement is thereby achieved.
[0017] In summary, by dividing the fastening element into at least a base body and a fixing device, it is possible, on the one hand, to guide the fastening element in the groove arrangement and, on the other hand, to create a force-fitting and / or positive-locking fixation through different sections of the fastening element. This makes it particularly easy to adapt the base body and the fixing device to the specific application.
[0018] Furthermore, in the housing according to the invention, the base body can be provided with a frame element, in particular a circumferential one, for guiding the fastening element in the groove arrangement, wherein the frame element forms at least some sections of the longitudinal sides. Preferably, the frame element of the base body can surround the entire fastening element. This can increase the stability of the fastening element, for example, against torsion.
[0019] Furthermore, the housing according to the invention can comprise the fixing device comprising at least one clamping element, wherein the at least one clamping element has a fixed end with which the clamping element is arranged on the base body and is elastically deflectable from a basic position, wherein furthermore the at least one clamping element is deflected in the fixing position of the fixing device into a deflected position different from the basic position and the fastening element is non-positively fixed in the groove arrangement. By deflecting the clamping element from a basic position into the deflected position, a force is generated, usually due to the elasticity of the clamping element and the connection of the clamping element at its fixed end to the base body, which force acts on the clamping element in the direction of its basic position. This force makes it possible to fix the fastening element non-positively in the groove arrangement. In particular, the deflection of the clamping element can preferably be caused by parts of the groove arrangement.
[0020] In a further development of the housing according to the invention, it can be provided that the fixing device has a clamping element of a first type which extends transversely to the insertion direction and has a free end opposite the fixed end, which protrudes transversely to the insertion direction in the direction of one of the groove arms beyond one of the long sides of the base body, whereby the clamping element of the first type can be deflected into the deflected position during insertion by the free end resting on one of the two groove arms against the insertion direction and thereby the fastening element can be fixed in the groove arrangement in a force-fitting manner, in particular can be fixed in a self-locking manner.
[0021] In the present invention, the term "clamping element of the first type" describes a specific embodiment of a clamping element according to a first type, in other words, a first possible embodiment of a clamping element within the meaning of the invention. In the following, other clamping elements designed according to further possible embodiments, for example, according to a second type, a third type, etc., will also be described as part of the invention. The term "clamping element of the ... type" can thus be used to distinguish between the various embodiments of the clamping elements used within the meaning of the invention. The clamping elements of the different types can be used individually and, where technically feasible and possible, in any combination.
[0022] The free end of the first-type clamping element, which projects beyond the corresponding long side of the base body, makes contact with one of the two groove arms of the groove arrangement when the fastening element is inserted. Since the opposite fixed end is arranged on the base body, the free end is automatically deflected counter to the direction of insertion. Even in the covering position, the first-type clamping element remains in this deflected position, in which the free end is deflected from its basic position counter to the direction of insertion. Moving the fastening element, and thus the side cap, counter to the direction of insertion requires an opposite movement of the free end of the first-type clamping element, which is prevented by its length. This length can preferably be selected such that a deflection angle α of the clamping element of the first type, which describes the deflection of the clamping element from its basic position into its deflected position, is set such that, together with a coefficient of adhesion µ H of the corresponding groove arm, it creates a self-locking effect (α < tan -1 < µ H ). In this way, a force-fitting fixation of the side cap in the covering position can be made particularly simple and secure, since high holding forces can be generated, in particular with low tensions of the clamping element of the first type. A loss of fixation due to fatigue phenomena of the material of the clamping element of the first type can thus be avoided.
[0023] Furthermore, the housing according to the invention can be further developed such that the free end has a rounded contact section for engagement with the grooved arm. Rounded within the meaning of the invention includes, for example, a design of the outer contour of the free end as a convex polygon, as an elliptical arc or as a circular arc, up to a semicircular design. Combinations of various such designs are also possible. In particular, such a rounded contact section can enable the free end to engage securely against the grooved arm, regardless of the existing deflection of the clamping element of the first type. A loss of the self-locking fixation, caused by an insecure engagement of the free end with the grooved arm, can thereby be avoided, or at least the risk of such a loss can be reduced.
[0024] According to a further embodiment of the housing according to the invention, the free end can also have an insertion aid that is beveled relative to the insertion direction for inserting the fastening element into the groove arrangement, wherein the insertion aid is arranged, in particular, adjacent to the contact section in the insertion direction. The fastening element with the clamping element of the first type is inserted into the groove arrangement along the insertion direction. Since the free end of the clamping element of the first type protrudes beyond the longitudinal side of the base body of the fastening element, tilting of the free end, in particular of the contact section, on the corresponding groove arm cannot be ruled out.The presence of a beveled insertion aid, which can be positioned directly in front of the contact section, particularly in the insertion direction, allows for a particularly reliable initiation of the deflection of the first type of clamping element from its home position toward its extended position. Tilting as described above can thus be prevented.
[0025] Preferably, the housing according to the invention can further be designed such that the clamping element of the first type extends transversely to the insertion direction over at least half, preferably at least three-quarters, of the maximum width of the base body. The longer the extension of the clamping element of the first type is transversely to the insertion direction, the smaller the deflection angle α must be in order to enable sufficient fixation of the entire fastening element in the groove arrangement. An extension over half, or better still over three-quarters, of the maximum width of the base body has proven particularly advantageous because, on the one hand, the deflection angle α is already significantly reduced, but at the same time, a secure arrangement of the fixed end of the clamping element of the first type on the base body can be ensured.
[0026] Alternatively or additionally, the housing according to the invention can be characterized in that the fixing device has two clamping elements of a second type, which are arranged on the longitudinal sides of the base body, in particular on the frame element, and which can be brought from the basic position into the deflected position during insertion by resting against one of the groove arms. In other words, the insertion movement deflects the clamping elements of the second type transversely to the insertion direction. The end of the respective clamping element of the second type opposite the fixed end can be designed as a fixed end, also arranged on the base body, or as a movable, free end not connected to the base body.Since the clamping elements of the second type are elastically arranged on the base body, the above-described force-locking fixation of the fastening element in the groove arrangement is achieved, which is also maintained when the side cap reaches the covering position.
[0027] According to a further developed embodiment of the housing according to the invention, it can be provided that the fixing device has a further clamping element of a third type which extends counter to the insertion direction and is arranged, in particular centrally, between the longitudinal sides of the base body, wherein during insertion a free end of the clamping element of the third type which is opposite the fixed end of the clamping element of the third type can be brought from the basic position into the deflected position by abutting against the surface element of the groove arrangement. As described above, the clamping elements of the second type are deflected transversely to the insertion direction by the groove arms. Since these groove arms often have sharp edges due to production reasons, material can peel off the clamping elements of the second type, which can reduce the force-fitting fixation of the fastening element in the groove arrangement by the clamping elements of the second type.An additional clamping element of the third type can generate an additional clamping force, which, in contrast to the clamping elements of the second type, acts on the surface element of the groove arrangement. High clamping or clamping forces can be provided in this way, ensuring a secure, force-locking fixation of the fastening element in the groove arrangement. In particular, the secure, force-locking fixation can preferably also be achieved by the clamping element of the third type alone.
[0028] Preferably, the housing according to the invention can further be provided with the free end of the clamping element of the third type having an insertion aid beveled relative to the insertion direction and / or an actuating portion for manual actuation to facilitate insertion of the actuating element into the groove arrangement. So that the clamping element of the third type can exert the clamping force described above on the surface element, the clamping element of the third type is designed such that, in the basic position of the clamping element, the free end of the clamping element abuts the front end of the surface element upon insertion. Thus, insertion of the entire fastening element into the groove arrangement with the clamping element of the third type in its basic position is not possible.A beveled insertion aid can enable the third-type clamping element to be automatically deflected toward the deflected position upon reaching its free end at the front end of the surface element. An actuating section for manual actuation can be used to achieve the same effect. Overall, the automatic or manual deflection of the third-type clamping element toward its deflected position can thus facilitate the insertion of the entire fastening element into the groove arrangement.
[0029] Furthermore, the housing according to the invention can be designed such that the base body has a receptacle for a fastening means, in particular for a screw, preferably for a screw and a corresponding nut, which is arranged, preferably centrally, between the long sides of the base body and extends continuously in the base body transversely to the surface element of the groove arrangement, wherein in the covering position of the fastening element and when the fastening means is still arranged in the receptacle, the fastening element can additionally be non-positively fixed in the groove arrangement. The risk of a reduction in the non-positive fixation of the fastening element in the groove arrangement due to material peeling off the clamping elements of the second type can also be counteracted by an additional fastening means, for example a screw, preferably a screw and a corresponding nut.The fastener can be positioned in the recess and pressed against the surface element. This also ensures a secure, force-locking fixation of the fastener in the groove arrangement.
[0030] Alternatively or additionally, the housing according to the invention can be characterized in that the fixing device has a clamping section which is arranged between the two clamping elements of the second type, wherein the clamping section can be brought, preferably by manual actuation, into a clamping position in which the clamping section presses the two clamping elements of the second type in the direction of the deflected position of the respective clamping element of the second type. In other words, the clamping section in its clamping position can ensure that the clamping elements of the second type remain in their respective deflected position. The strength and security of the fixation of the fastening element in the groove arrangement provided by the clamping elements of the second type can thereby be further increased.
[0031] Preferably, the housing according to the invention can be further developed such that the clamping section has first locking surfaces and the two clamping elements of the second type have respective second locking surfaces, wherein in the clamping section, in its clamping position, the first locking surfaces and second locking surfaces engage one another in pairs in a form-fitting manner, thereby holding the clamping section in its clamping position. For this purpose, the first and second locking surfaces are preferably aligned perpendicular to a direction of movement of the clamping element into its clamping position. This reliably prevents unintentional removal of the clamping element from its clamping position, and thus a loss of the securing of the clamping elements of the second type in their deflected position.
[0032] Again alternatively or additionally, the housing according to the invention can also be designed such that the fixing device has a clamping element of a fourth type, which is arranged, in particular centrally, between the long sides of the base body and has a clamping foot between its fixed end and a free end opposite the fixed end, wherein the free end further has a first locking lug and a corresponding second locking lug is arranged on the surface element of the groove arrangement, wherein in the side cap in its covering position the clamping element of the fourth type can be deflected in the direction of the surface element to reach the deflected position and the clamping foot can therefore be pressed against the surface element, and wherein in the deflected position the first locking lug and the second locking lug engage in a form-fitting manner and the clamping element of the fourth type is therefore held in the deflected position.Overall, the clamping element of the fourth type can exert a clamping force on the surface element. In contrast to the clamping elements of the first, second, or third type, however, this clamping force does not result from a restoring force of the elastic deflection of the respective clamping element, but is generated by the clamping of the clamping element of the fourth type via its clamping foot against the surface element, held by the positively engaging locking lugs. Since the clamping foot is arranged between the fixed and the free end of the clamping element of the fourth type, particularly high clamping forces and thus a particularly secure, force-fitting fixation of the fastening element in the groove arrangement can be achieved by exploiting the law of the lever.
[0033] In a further embodiment of the housing according to the invention, it can further be provided that the fixing device has a guide element which, perpendicular to the insertion direction, at least partially has the maximum width of the base body and is elastically arranged on the base body, wherein the base body is arranged along the insertion direction between the side cap and the guide element, wherein the guide element further forms an arrangement angle with the base body which, in particular in the starting position of the fixing device, measures between 160° and 178°, preferably 175°, and / or in the fixing position of the fixing device at least substantially 180°. The fact that the guide element also at least partially has the maximum width of the base body ensures that the guide element also engages in both groove receptacles of the groove arrangement. When the fastening element is inserted into the groove arrangement, the guide element is first inserted into the groove receptacles of the groove arrangement. The side cap is then tilted by the arrangement angle so that the base body can also be inserted into the groove arrangement. Finally, the base body is also pushed into the groove arrangement until the side cap has reached its covering position. Thus, when the fastening element is fully inserted into the groove arrangement, tension exists between the base body and the guide element because the tilting of the side cap described above deflects the guide element, which is elastically arranged on the base body, from its basic position. In this way, the fastening element can be clamped in the groove arrangement with a force fit and thus fixed.
[0034] The housing according to the invention can also be designed such that the fixing device has at least one retaining clip arranged elastically on the base body and two engagement sections, wherein each of the groove arms further has a corresponding respective recess, wherein during the insertion of the fastening element into the groove arrangement the at least one retaining clip can be elastically deflected by the action of the groove arms on the engagement sections and when the fixing position is reached the at least one retaining clip is returned from its deflection and the engagement sections engage in the respective recess and thereby the fastening element is positively fixed in the groove arrangement. In contrast to the previously described embodiments of the housing according to the invention with force-locking fixation, this embodiment alternatively or additionally enables a form-fitting fixation of the fastening element in the groove arrangement. For this purpose, the groove arms, in particular, have recesses into which corresponding engagement sections of the fixing device can engage. The elastic deflection and subsequent retraction of the at least one retaining clip ensures that the engagement sections engage positively in the respective recess. The form-fitting connection thus formed is oriented in particular transversely, preferably perpendicularly, to the insertion direction, so that a secure form-fitting fixation of the fastening element in the groove arrangement can be achieved.
[0035] According to a further development, the housing according to the invention can be characterized in that the fixing device has a retaining clip, wherein both engagement sections are arranged on one retaining clip, and wherein during the insertion of the fastening element into the groove arrangement the retaining clip can be deflected in the direction of the surface element by the action of the groove arms on the engagement sections, in particular on run-on bevels of the engagement sections, or in that the fixing device has two retaining clips, wherein one of the engagement sections is arranged on each retaining clip, and wherein during the insertion of the fastening element into the groove arrangement the two retaining clips can be deflected facing each other by the action of the groove arms, in particular of run-on bevels of the groove arms, on the engagement sections.Housings according to the invention can be provided in different geometries for different door drives, for example, to meet different requirements with regard to the available installation space. This can also lead to different designs of the respective groove arrangement of the housing according to the invention. The above-described designs of the fixing device differ in particular in that in the first design the only retaining clip present can be deflected in the direction of the surface element, and in the second design the two retaining clips present can be deflected facing one another within the groove arrangement. These designs therefore differ in particular in the installation space required, with the second design enabling a flatter design. In summary, a design of the groove arrangement and the corresponding fastening element can be selected that is suitable for different housings according to the invention.
[0036] Furthermore, the object is achieved by a door drive according to the invention, in particular a door closer, with a housing. The door drive according to the invention is characterized in that the housing is designed according to one of the exemplary embodiments described above. The door drive according to the invention thus has all the features and advantages described above with regard to the housing according to the invention.
[0037] The invention is described below with reference to the figures. Elements with the same function and mode of operation are provided with the same reference numerals in the figures.

[0039] Fig. 1 shows an exploded view of a door drive 300 according to the invention, which is embodied, for example, as a door closer. A closer body 302 can be arranged on a mounting plate 308, which in turn can be fastened, for example, to a wall or a door lintel (neither shown). A drive shaft 304 can be connected to a drive rod 306, via which a door leaf of a door (neither shown) can then be moved.
[0040] To cover in particular the closer body 302, a housing 200 according to the invention is provided in the door drive 300 according to the invention, which housing 200 comprises in particular a hood 20 and a side cap 10 on at least one, as shown preferably on both, front ends. The side caps 10, as shown, preferably completely cover the front openings of the hood 20 in a covering position. Various embodiments of the housing 200 according to the invention are described with reference to the following Fig. 2 bis 21 described, wherein the individual design options are shown and described separately, but can also be realized in any technically possible and sensible combinations in a housing 200 according to the invention.
[0041] In Fig. 2 A basic design of a hood 20 of the housing 200 according to the invention is shown in an illustration. The hood 20 shown is essentially U-shaped with two leg sides and a base side. Furthermore, a groove arrangement 22 is provided on the base side, which extends inside the hood 20 along an insertion direction 14. Alternatively, the groove arrangement 22 can also be arranged on one of the leg sides or, in a different design of the hood 20, at any other suitable location. The groove arrangement 22 is formed by two groove arms 24 and a surface element 26 of the base side located between the groove arms 24. As shown, the groove arms 24 are L-shaped.In this case, the respective groove arm 24, together with the adjacent surface element 26, forms a groove receptacle 28, which also extends along the insertion direction 14, with the two groove receptacles 28 thus formed facing each other. Forming the respective groove receptacle 28 solely by one of the groove arms 24 is also possible (not shown).
[0042] The embodiments of housings 200 according to the invention described below essentially comprise a hood 20 as shown in Fig. 2 Only the information relating to Fig. 18 bis 21 The embodiments described have slightly modified groove arms 24, which will be discussed separately. Otherwise, to avoid repetition, the following description of the hood 20 with reference to Fig. 2 Furthermore, in all forms of implementation, the Fig. 3 bis 21 A fastening element 12 is arranged on each side cap 10 shown, which fastening element extends along the insertion direction 14. At least directly on the side cap 10, the respective fastening element 12 has a base body 40, which, depending on the design, can also extend further beyond it in the insertion direction 14. In particular, the base body 40 has, at least partially, a maximum width 44 between two longitudinal sides 42 of the base body 40 perpendicular to the insertion direction 14. This maximum width 44 is dimensioned such that when the fastening element 12 is inserted into the groove arrangement 22, the base body 40 engages with both longitudinal sides 42 in one of the groove receptacles 28 of the groove arrangement 22. Guiding the fastening element 12 in the groove arrangement 22 is thus already made possible by the base body 40 alone.
[0043] The properties described above, in particular of the base body 40 and the fastening element 12, have all embodiments of the housing 200 according to the invention described below, so that, in order to avoid unnecessary repetition, reference is also made to them.
[0044] Furthermore, a fixing device 50 is arranged on the base body 40, which differs in the embodiments described below. The fixing device 50 ensures a force-fitting and / or positive-locking fixation of the fastening element 12 in the groove arrangement 22, and thus of the side cap 10 in its covering position. The individual embodiments of the various fixing devices 50 are described in detail below.
[0045] Fig. 3 and 4 show a first embodiment of a housing 200 according to the invention, wherein in Fig. 3 a plan view of in particular the fastening element 12, in Fig. 4 Two steps of assembly of the corresponding housing 200 are shown in a semi-transparent top view. In this embodiment, the fixing device 50 has a clamping element 60 of a first type. The clamping element 60 has a fixed end 62, via which it is connected to the base body 40 and thus arranged thereon. The illustrated clamping element 60 of the first type extends transversely to the insertion direction 14 over approximately three-quarters of the maximum width 44 and protrudes with its free end 64 beyond the corresponding longitudinal side 42 of the base body 40.
[0046] This causes, as in Fig. 4 It can be seen that when the fastening element 12 is inserted into the groove arrangement 22 inside the hood 20 (cf. Fig. 2 ) the clamping element 60 from its Fig. 3 shown basic position against the insertion direction 14 into its deflected position. An insertion aid 68 on the free end 64 prevents the clamping element 60 from tilting. A rounded contact section 66 also enables the free end 64 to rest securely on the groove arm 24 regardless of the contact point. Overall, the described deflection of the clamping element 60 of the first type enables a particularly self-locking, force-fitting fixation of the fastening element 12 in the groove arrangement 22.
[0047] Another possible embodiment of a housing 200 according to the invention is shown in the Fig. 5 and 6 shown in Fig. 5 before assembly in an oblique view, in Fig. 6 during assembly in a lateral sectional view (left illustration) and after completion of assembly in a lateral sectional view and a semi-transparent top view (right illustrations). In this embodiment, the fixing device 50 has two clamping elements 70 of a second type and one clamping element 80 of a third type. The two clamping elements 70 of the second type are arranged externally via two fixed ends 72 on each of the longitudinal sides 42 of the base body 40. When inserted into the groove arrangement 22 inside the hood 20 (cf. Fig. 2 ) the clamping elements 70 of the second type are pressed inwards perpendicular to the insertion direction 14 and thus deflected by the groove arms 24 into their deflection positions, see in particular the top view in the right-hand illustration of Fig. 6 . The clamping element 80 of the third type is arranged with a fixed end 82 on the base body 40 centrally between the longitudinal sides 42 on the frame element 46 of the base body 40, in such a way that it is oriented opposite to the insertion direction 14. Furthermore, the clamping element 80 of the third type has a free end 84, which, as shown for example in the left illustration of Fig. 6 As can be seen, when inserted in its basic position, it strikes the surface element 26 of the groove arrangement 22. An insertion aid 86 beveled relative to the insertion direction 14 automatically deflects the free end 84 during insertion, so that the clamping element 80 of the third type is in a deflected position in which it non-positively fixes the fastening element 12 in the groove arrangement 22, particularly when the fixing device 50 assumes its fixing position at the end of the insertion movement. Possible material losses of the clamping elements 70 of the second type due to abrasion on sharp edges of the groove arms 24 can thereby be compensated.
[0048] The Fig. 7 bis 9 show a further possible embodiment of a housing 200 according to the invention, which corresponds to the Fig. 5 and 6 shown embodiment, so that reference is generally made to the corresponding previous description. Fig. 7 shows the housing 200 before assembly in an oblique view, Fig. 8 during assembly in two side sectional views and Fig. 9 after completion of the assembly in a lateral sectional view (left illustration) and a semi-transparent top view (right illustration). In the present embodiment, the fastening element 12 or its fixing device 50 also has two correspondingly arranged clamping elements 70 of the second type and one clamping element 80 of the third type, which also fulfill the same functions as already described above with reference to the Fig. 5 , 6 However, the design of the free end 84 of the clamping element 80 of the third type is different. This has, instead of the insertion aid 86 (see Fig. 5 , 6 ) has an actuating section 88 for manual actuation. In particular, in Fig. 8 The function of this actuating section 88 is shown. When the fastening element 12 is inserted into the groove arrangement 22 (left illustration of the Fig. 8 ) In this embodiment, the free end 84 of the clamping element 80 of the third type prevents the fastening element 12 from being fully inserted into the groove arrangement 22 in the interior of the hood 20 (cf. Fig. 2 ). By manual operation, in the right picture the Fig. 8 indicated by an arrow, of the actuating element 88 at the free end 84, the clamping element 80 of the third type is moved into its deflection position. Thus, the fixing device 50 can then be moved into its fixing position (see Fig. 9 ), in which it fixes the fastening element 12 in the groove arrangement 22 in a force-fitting manner.
[0049] The clamping element is preferably only clamped when the support area is fully inserted so that no chip formation occurs.
[0050] In Fig. 10 A further possible embodiment of the housing 200 according to the invention is shown. Once again, the fixing device 50 has two clamping elements 70 of the second type arranged on the longitudinal sides 42 of the base body 40. To enable additional fixing, in this embodiment, a receptacle 48 is provided in the base body 40 centrally between the longitudinal sides 42. In this receptacle 48, which extends continuously in the base body 40 transversely to the surface element 26 of the groove arrangement 22, a fastening means, as shown a screw with a matching nut, can be arranged. Additional clamping of the fastening element 12 against the groove arrangement 22 of the hood 20 (cf. Fig. 2 ) and thus an increase in the force-locking fixation of the side cap 10 to the hood 20 can thus be made possible.
[0051] Another possible design of the fastening element 12 is shown in the Fig. 11 bis 13 shown. Fig. 11 shows the housing 200 before assembly in an oblique view, Fig. 12 during assembly in two semi-transparent views, and Fig. 13 during assembly (left illustration) and after completion of assembly (right illustration) in sectional views transverse to the insertion direction 14. Although the fixing device 50 in this embodiment also has two clamping elements 70 of the second type on the long sides 42 of the base body 40, these, however, have only one fixed end 72 arranged on the base body 40 and additionally an opposite free end 74. As can be seen by comparing the left and right illustrations in Fig. 12 , which show two successive stages of insertion of the fastening element 12 into the groove arrangement 22 inside the hood 20 (cf. Fig. 2 ), the free ends 74 of the clamping elements 70 of the second type are pressed together during insertion. This is supported by the use of a clamping section 100, which is elastically arranged between the clamping elements 70 of the second type on the base body 40. This clamping element 100 can be inserted in particular into the position shown in the lower figure of Fig. 13 The clamping section 100 can be brought into the clamping position shown, in which the clamping section 100 presses the two clamping elements 70 of the second type into their respective deflected positions. First locking surfaces 102 on the locking section 100 and second locking surfaces 76 on the free ends 74 of the clamping elements 70 of the second type prevent the clamping section 100 from being accidentally removed from its clamping position. Thus, the fixing of the fastening element 12 in the groove arrangement 22 is also ensured in this embodiment.
[0052] A further possible embodiment of the housing 200 according to the invention is shown in the Fig. 14 and15 shown, where Fig. 14 an oblique view of the side cap 10 and the fastening element 12 arranged thereon, Fig. 15 a side sectional view during assembly (left illustration) and after completion of assembly (right illustrations) of the side cap 10 on the hood 20 (cf. Fig. 2 ). In this embodiment, the fixing device 50 has a clamping element 90 of a fourth type, which is arranged with its fixed end 92 centrally between the longitudinal sides 42 of the base body 40. A frame element 46 of the base body 40, which encompasses the longitudinal sides 42 of the base body 40, ensures overall stability of the fastening element 12. The clamping element 90 of the fourth type has, in particular, a clamping foot 96, which is arranged between the fixed end 92 and a free end 94 of the clamping element 90. As in Fig. 15 As can be seen, the clamping foot 96 extends in the direction of the surface element 26 of the groove arrangement 22. Due to the elastic design of the clamping element 90 of the fourth type, it can be deflected from its basic position in the direction of the surface element 26 during assembly, for example by a tool or manually, as in the left illustration of the Fig. 15 indicated by an arrow. This brings the clamping foot 96 into its deflected position, in which it is pressed against the surface element 26 and thereby clamps or fixes the fastening element 12 in a force-fitting manner in the groove arrangement 22. In order to prevent the clamping element 90 of the fourth type from returning to its basic position, it has a first locking lug 98 on its free end 94, which can be brought into engagement with a second locking lug 30, which is correspondingly arranged on the frame element 46. Due to the positive engagement of the first locking lug 98 and the second locking lug 30 transversely to the deflection direction of the clamping element 90 of the fourth type, the clamping element 90 remains in its deflected position and the side cap 10 is force-fittingly fixed in its covering position at the front opening of the hood 20.
[0053] In Fig. 16 and 17an embodiment of the fastening element 12 is shown in lateral sectional views, in which the fixing device 50 comprises a guide element 110 arranged elastically on the base body 40. Fig. 16 shows the side cap 10 with the fastening element 12, in Fig. 17 The left and middle figures show two points in time during assembly, and the right figure shows the point after completion of assembly of the housing 200 according to the invention. The guide element 110 has, at least in sections, the maximum width 44 perpendicular to the insertion direction 14 and to the sectional plane of the sectional views. As a result, the guide element 110, like the base body 40, can be inserted into both groove receptacles 28 of the groove arrangement 22 inside the hood 20 (cf. Fig. 2 ) engage. Furthermore, the guide element 110 forms an arrangement angle 112 with the base body 40, which in the basic position of the guide element 110 preferably measures approximately 175°, see in particular Fig. 16 and the left image of the Fig. 17 .
[0054] The assembly of the Fig. 16 , 17 The illustrated embodiment of the side cap 10 of the housing 200 according to the invention essentially comprises three steps. The left illustration of the Fig 17 shows the state after completion of the first step, in which the guide element 110 is inserted into the groove arrangement 22. Further sliding is hindered by the base body 40, since in the basic position it forms the arrangement angle 112 of 175° with the guide element 110 as described above. Enabled by the elastic arrangement of the guide element 110 on the base body 40, it can then be achieved, preferably by manually tilting the side cap 10 (in the left illustration of the Fig. 17 indicated by a curved arrow), the guide element 110 is brought into its deflection position, in which the arrangement angle 112 is essentially 180°. This is shown in the middle figure of the Fig. 17 shown. A further insertion of the fastening element 12 until the fixing position of the fixing device 50 (right illustration of the Fig. 17 ) is thus made possible. The elastic arrangement of the guide element 110 on the base body 40 generates a restoring force that drives the guide element 110 back to its original position. This clamps the entire fastening element 12 in the groove arrangement 22, thus firmly fixing the side cap 10 in its covering position.
[0055] In contrast to the previously described embodiments of the housing 200 according to the invention, in the Fig. 18 bis 21 In the embodiments shown, the side cap 10 is fixed in place not by force but by form-fitting. For this purpose, the corresponding fastening element 12 has at least one retaining clip 120 and engagement sections 122, which, in the covering position of the side cap 10, engage in a form-fitting manner in corresponding recesses 32 of the groove arms 24, thereby preventing unintentional removal of the side cap 10 from the front opening of the hood 20 covered by it (cf. Fig. 2 ) to prevent this. In the following, the Fig. 18 , 19 or Fig. 20 , 21 Two possible variants of this embodiment with positive fixing are described as examples.
[0056] The Fig. 18 , 19 The embodiment shown comprises a fastening element 12 with two retaining clips 120, each of which carries an engagement portion 122 at one end. Fig. 18 shows a top view of the fastening element 12, Fig. 19 two states during assembly (left and middle illustration) and one after completion of assembly (right illustration) of the side cap 10 on the hood 20 (cf. Fig. 2 ) in a semi-transparent top view. The retaining clips 120 are surrounded by a frame element 46 of the base body 40, which frame element 46 encompasses the longitudinal sides 42 of the base body 40 and thereby enables guidance of the fastening element 12 in the groove arrangement 22. Furthermore, the entire fastening element 12 is stabilized by the frame element 46. When inserting the fastening element 12 into the groove receptacles 28 of the groove arrangement 22, the two retaining clips 120 are deflected towards each other by a positive contact of run-on bevels 124 of the retaining clips 120 on corresponding run-on bevels 34 of the groove arms 24, see the left and middle illustration of the Fig. 19 . Because the deflection occurs in the plane of the fastening element 12, this can be done in a particularly space-saving manner. If the fastening element 12 is pushed further into the groove arrangement 22 until the covering position of the side cap 10 is reached, the engagement sections 122 of the retaining clips 120 reach the recesses 32 of the groove arms 24, and the retaining clips 120 are reset from their respective deflection. The engagement sections 122 of the retaining clips 120 engage positively in the recesses 32 of the groove arms 24 (see right-hand illustration of the Fig. 19 ), and the side cap 10 is thereby fixed in its covering position.
[0057] In the Fig. 20 , 21 is a fastening element 12 with a variant of the Fig. 18 , 19 shown fixing device 50. Fig. 20 shows an oblique view from below of the housing 200 according to the invention, Fig. 21 two states during assembly (left and middle illustration) and one after completion of assembly (right illustration) of the side cap 10 on the hood 20 (cf. Fig. 2 ) of the housing 200 according to the invention in a lateral sectional view. In contrast to the embodiment described above, the fixing device 50 here has only one retaining clip 120, on which two engagement sections 122 are arranged. Also, run-on bevels 124 are only present on the engagement sections 122. However, the assembly process of the side cap 10 in the groove arrangement 22 is similar. Thus, when the fastening element 12 is inserted into the groove receptacles 28 of the groove arrangement 22, the single retaining clip 120 is also deflected by a positive contact of the run-on bevels 124 of the retaining clips 120 on the groove arms 24, but in the direction of the surface element 26 of the groove arrangement 22, see the left and middle illustration of the Fig. 21 . This design variant therefore has advantages over the one in the Fig. 18 , 19 shown variant requires slightly more space. However, as soon as the fastening element 12 is pushed into the groove arrangement 22 until the covering position of the side cap 10 is reached, the deflection of the retaining clip 120 is reset by the engagement sections 122 when the recesses 32 of the groove arms 24 are reached. The engagement sections 122 of the retaining clips 120 in turn engage positively in the recesses 32 of the groove arms 24 (see right-hand illustration of the Fig. 21 ), and the side cap 10 is thereby fixed in its covering position. By using only a single retaining clip 120, this can be designed larger, as shown, than the two retaining clips 120 in the embodiment described above with reference to Fig. 18 , 19described variant. This allows the individual retaining clip 120 to generate a greater restoring force, which can improve the retention of the engagement sections 122 in the recesses 32. This advantage can at least partially compensate for the larger space requirement. Reference symbol
