[0001] The invention relates to a piece of furniture with a cushion resting on a base frame, wherein the base frame comprises a main part and two side parts pivotably attached to the main part about pivot axes extending transversely to each other.

The base frame has a fixed main section and two side sections pivotally attached to the main section. The pivot axes of the side sections run perpendicular to each other, allowing the furniture to be pivoted both lengthwise and crosswise. The cushions are attached to the base frame via Velcro. Furniture (1) with a cushion (6) resting on a base frame (2), wherein the base frame comprises a main part (3) and two side parts (4a, 4b, 4c) pivotably mounted on the main part (3) about pivot axes (5a, 5b, 5c) extending transversely to one another, characterized in that the cushion (6) is mounted on both plate-shaped side parts (4a, 4b, 4c) so as to be displaceable transversely to the pivot axis (5a, 5b, 5c) of the respective side part (4a, 4b, 4c).
2. Furniture according to claim 1, characterized in that the cushion (6) is a single-chamber cushion.
3. Furniture according to one of claims 1 to 2, characterized in that the cushion (6) is mounted on the side parts (4a, 4b, 4c) in the area where they are hinged to the main part (3).
4. Furniture according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the cushion (6) is mounted on the side parts (4a, 4b, 4c) via two linear guides (7) each.
5. Furniture according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the side parts (4a, 4b, 4c) can be displaced between a rest position and a pivot position and, in the rest position, one side part (4a, 4c) adjoins the other side part (4b) on at least two sides.
6. Furniture according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the base frame (2) comprises a third side part (4c) which is pivotably mounted on the main part (3) about a pivot axis (5c) parallel to a pivot axis (5a) of another side part (4a).
