Description

technical field

[0001] The present invention relates to the field of blackout devices and in particular to the field of devices for the installation of roller shutters in transoms. Previous technique

[0002] In the field of roller shutter installation, it is common practice to install a housing containing the shutter and its operating mechanism above a door or window opening. Access to the operating mechanism and the shutter itself, for maintenance purposes for example, is generally from the bottom of the housing. This type of installation requires a technician performing maintenance to work from outside the building and to use equipment for working at height (particularly for windows on upper floors). Furthermore, accessing the mechanism often requires removing the housing's casing. This results in a considerable loss of time for the technician and a risk of injury from falls.

[0003] Document EP 1748413 A3 describes a device according to the preamble of claim 1. Description of the invention

[0004] The aim of the present invention is therefore to overcome the aforementioned disadvantages by proposing a device for removable roller shutters, which is simple to install and accessible from inside a building at a height of about 10 meters.

[0005] In accordance with the invention, a removable device for roller shutters is therefore proposed, remarkable in that it comprises at least: a hollow box in which at least one shutter is installed and means enabling said shutter to roll around a rolling axis and having a slot extending along an axis parallel to said rolling axis and allowing said shutter to pass outside the box, said box being intended to be installed in a recess of dimensions congruent with it, made in a building wall and positioned so as to surmount a frame of a window or door type opening separating a space outside the building from a space inside the building, means of movement intended to link said box to the wall and enabling it to move from at least one position called "commissioning" according to which said box is in the recess and surmounts the opening, to at least one position called "maintenance" according to which the box is not in the recess and is in the space inside the building.

[0006] A "roller shutter" is a curtain, opaque or not. It may consist of an assembly of slats, usually made of metal, plastic, or wood, designed to cover an opening, generally glazed, such as a window or door. The term "shutter" can be used interchangeably to refer to a device such as a shutter, mosquito net, or blind.

[0007] An elongated opening is called a "slit".

[0008] An opening made in a wall to receive a door or window (also called a embrasure) is called a "reservation".

[0009] The term “frame” refers to the framing / frame / fixed part of a glazed opening such as a door or window.

[0010] The term "interior space of the building" refers to the space delimited by the walls of the building when all doors and windows are closed.

[0011] The axis of rotation of the roller shutter is called the "rolling axis".

[0012] Preferably, the means of movement comprise at least: sliding means intended to link said box to the wall by a sliding connection and allowing the translation of said box from at least one "commissioning" position to at least one "maintenance" position located in the interior space of the building, along an axis perpendicular to the axis of rolling, said sliding means comprising at least first assembly means intended to assemble said sliding means to the wall, and second assembly means intended to assemble said sliding means to the box.

[0013] The wall in question is a wall of the building containing a door or window opening. This wall will be considered substantially vertical in relation to the ground, which is considered substantially horizontal.

[0014] The term "assembly means" refers to means used to connect two elements in a fixed or movable manner. These two elements can therefore be fixedly connected, meaning they cannot move relative to each other (for example, fixing with means such as screws), or movable, meaning they are articulated and can therefore move relative to each other (for example, a hinge).

[0015] More preferably, the sliding means consist of a rail fixed by first assembly means to the wall and a slide fixed by second assembly means to the box.

[0016] In another embodiment, said chest moves from said "commissioning" position to said "maintenance" position and from said "maintenance" position to a second "maintenance position" by means of movement, said means of movement being means capable of enabling the chest to move from the "commissioning" position to the "maintenance" position by translation along an axis perpendicular to the rolling axis, and capable of enabling the chest to move from the "maintenance" position to the second "maintenance position" by translation along an axis parallel to the rolling axis, and in the direction of the opening.

[0017] Alternatively, said means of movement are suitable for allowing said trunk to pass from the "maintenance" position to the second "maintenance position" by rotation around an axis parallel to the rolling axis, and at an angle greater than or equal to 90°.

[0018] Advantageously, the means of movement are a rail fixed by first assembly means to the wall and a slider assembled by second assembly means to the box, said box and said slider cooperating so as to allow a rotation of said box around an axis parallel to the rolling axis, and at an angle of 90°.

[0019] Preferably, the slot is on an underside of the box intended to be in contact with the frame and in that said slot opens onto the space outside the building.

[0020] Advantageously, the chest has two opposite faces perpendicular to said lower face intended to be in contact with the wall and at least one of said two faces is associated with means of movement.

[0021] The chest preferably has a general parallelepiped shape.

[0022] Preferably, the box has at least one removable wall to allow access to the shutter and the means enabling the rolling. Brief description of the figures

[0023] Other advantages and features will become apparent from the following description of an embodiment of a removable roller shutter device according to the invention, with reference to the attached figures in which: [ Fig 1 ] is a bird's-eye view of a removable roller shutter device according to the invention in second position, installed on a wall in the "maintenance" position. Fig 2 ] is a cross-sectional view of the removable roller shutter device according to the invention installed on a wall, in the "operational" position. Fig 3 [ ] is a cross-sectional view of the removable roller shutter device according to the invention installed on a wall, in the "maintenance" position. Fig 4] is a cross-sectional view of the removable roller shutter device according to the invention installed on a wall, in the second "maintenance" position. Best way to implement the technical invention

[0024] In accordance with figures 1 to 4 Therefore, a removable device for roller shutters is described, remarkable in that it includes at least: a hollow box 2 in which at least one shutter is installed and means enabling said shutter to roll around a rolling axis R and having a slot 3 extending along an axis parallel to said rolling axis R and allowing said shutter to pass outside the box 2, said box 2 being intended to be installed in a recess 10 of dimensions congruent with it, made in a wall 100 of a building and positioned so as to surmount a frame 110 of a window or door type opening separating a space outside the building from a space inside the building, means of movement 20 intended to link said box 2 to the wall 100 and enabling it to move from at least one position called "commissioning" according to which said box 2 is in the recess 10 and surmounts the opening,at least one so-called "maintenance" position in which the safe 2 is not within the footprint of reservation 10 and is located inside the building.

[0025] The reservation 10 is of congruent dimensions with the chest 2, that is to say, it has dimensions adapted so that the chest 2 can fit into this reservation 10.

[0026] Preferably, the storage box 2 is fitted snugly into the recess 10. The recess 10 may or may not be a through opening. Advantageously, the recess 10 is installed on the interior side.

[0027] This box 2 can be super-thick, sub-thick or at the same level as the surface of wall 100 in the "commissioning" position.

[0028] Inside the housing 2, there may be a compartment with one or more shutters (or other types of equipment: blinds, mosquito nets, etc.) and their operating mechanisms. Perimeter seals can be installed at the various contact points between the housing 2 and the wall 100 or the housing 2 and the frame 110, for example, to ensure a watertight seal against the outside.

[0029] The means of movement 20 are intended to connect the safe 2 to the wall 100 while allowing movement of the safe 2 relative to it. They are fixed to any surface of the safe 2 and the wall 100, but preferably at the contact points between the safe 2 and the wall 100, within the recess 10. Preferably, the dimensions of the recess 10 are chosen to accommodate the safe 2 and the means of movement 20 in a snug manner.

[0030] In the "maintenance" position, chest 2 is outside the footprint of reservation 10, that is to say, it is outside of reservation 10.

[0031] Advantageously, opening 10 is a through opening. It can be constructed using an internal thermal insulation technique and can be closed off on the exterior side by a plate.

[0032] Preferably, the means of movement 20 comprise at least: sliding means intended to link said box 2 to the wall 100 by means of a sliding connection and allowing the translation of said box 2 from at least one "commissioning" position to at least one "maintenance" position located in the interior space of the building, along an axis perpendicular to the rolling axis R, said sliding means comprising at least first assembly means intended to assemble said sliding means to the wall 100, and second assembly means intended to assemble said sliding means to the box 2.

[0033] Preferably, the sliding means consist of a rail fixed to the wall 100 by first assembly means and a slide fixed to the box 2 by second assembly means. Any other means or combination of means having this function are conceivable. They allow the box 2 to move in translation along a substantially horizontal axis. The first assembly means are, for example, a metal plate or flange fixed to the wall 100 by means such as screws. The second assembly means are, for example, adhesive bonding, clips, or a combination of these means.

[0034] In another embodiment, said chest 2 passes from said "commissioning" position to said "maintenance" position and from said "maintenance" position to a second "maintenance position" by means of movement, said means of movement being means suitable for allowing the chest 2 to pass from the "commissioning" position to the "maintenance" position by translation along an axis perpendicular to the rolling axis R, and suitable for allowing the chest 2 to pass from the "maintenance" position to the second "maintenance position" by translation along an axis parallel to the rolling axis R and in the direction of the opening.

[0035] These specific types of movement have the advantage of allowing the storage box 2 to be moved out of the space occupied by the recess 10 by first sliding it forward, then lowering it to a higher position for easy maintenance, without being obstructed by the floor or ceiling above the recess 10 and without needing to use any equipment for working at height. These movement methods could be combined telescopic slides, for example. Any other means or combination of means performing this function are also possible.

[0036] Alternatively, the aforementioned movement means 20 are suitable for moving the housing 2 from the "maintenance" position to the second "maintenance position" by rotating it around an axis parallel to the rolling axis R at an angle greater than or equal to 90°. These specific movement methods have the advantage of allowing the housing 2 to be moved out of the space 10 by first translating it and then lowering it vertically. This facilitates access to a specific part of the housing 2 and allows for maintenance at a comfortable working height. For example, if the housing 2 has a removable access hatch to the shutter and its rolling mechanism in a particular area, the rotation angle can be chosen so that, in the second "maintenance" position, this hatch faces the user. These rotation means could be, for example, a pivot axis located on the slide.Any other means or combination of means having this function are conceivable here.

[0037] Advantageously, the movement means 20 consist of a rail fixed to the wall 100 by first assembly means and a slider assembled to the box 2 by second assembly means. The box 2 and the slider cooperate to allow the box 2 to rotate about an axis parallel to the rolling axis R, at an angle of 90°. The advantage of this movement means is that it allows, with a simple structure, both the translation and rotation of the box. Other means 20 can be used to perform these two functions, such as, for example, a system with special hinges. Any other means or combination of means having this function are also conceivable.

[0038] Preferably, slot 3 is located on the underside of the housing 2, intended to be in contact with the frame 110, and this slot 3 opens onto the exterior of the building. The slot extends along an axis parallel to the rolling axis R. It allows the simultaneous or separate passage and unwinding, on single or double tracks for example, of equipment such as shutters, blinds, or insect screens for sun or pest protection.

[0039] Advantageously, the chest 2 has two opposite faces perpendicular to said lower face intended to be in contact with the wall 100 and at least one of said two faces has means of movement 20.

[0040] Chest 2 preferably has a general parallelepiped shape. Chest 2 may also have a drawer shape.

[0041] The walls of box 2 are preferably made of a thermo-acoustic material to ensure good thermal insulation of the building and reduce noise from outside. To limit heat loss, box 2 can be insulated with rock wool or glass wool.

[0042] Preferably, the housing 2 has at least one removable partition to allow access to the shutter and its rolling mechanism. This removable partition allows access to the shutter and its rolling mechanism for repair or replacement by a maintenance technician.

[0043] Device 1 according to the invention can be used with a connected blind / shutter system, jointly controlling the opening and closing of a blind on the one hand and a shutter on the other hand, day and night, depending on temperatures and sunlight conditions, so as to maintain good thermal insulation of the building.

[0044] The invention also relates to an assembly comprising a removable device for roller shutter 1 as described above, a through-reservation 10 in a building wall 100 and an opening on which a door or window frame 110 is installed.

[0045] Finally, it goes without saying that the examples of devices 1 conforming to the invention, which have just been described, are only particular illustrations, in no way limiting of the invention.
