Description
[0001] Frame system and cleaning equipment frame
[0002] Description
[0003] Technical area
[0004] The invention relates to a frame system for a modular construction of four different cleaning device frames and one cleaning device frame.
[0005] State of the art
[0006] Cleaning equipment frames are well known.
[0007] The previously known frames fit a mop cover of the corresponding shape with which they are covered during their intended use.
[0008] The frame and the matching mop cover form a functional unit, with the frame always being used in its original form together with the mop cover. Structural modifications to the frame to allow it to be used with mop covers of different shapes are neither possible nor planned.
[0009] Mop covers of varying sizes are combined with separately designed and manufactured frames. Description of the invention
[0010] The invention is based on the object of being able to adapt cleaning device frames of a frame system as easily as possible to flat mop covers that differ in their design. Different frames should have as many identical parts as possible and a simple, part-free structure, thus being easy and cost-effective to manufacture from a manufacturing and economic perspective.
[0011] In addition, the frames are designed to be easy to handle thanks to their simple, part-free construction. Assembly errors are virtually eliminated thanks to the frame's geometry.
[0012] This object is achieved according to the invention with the features of claim 1 and claim 4. The subclaims, which each refer back to them, refer to advantageous embodiments.
[0013] To achieve the object, a frame system for a modular construction of four different flat wiper cleaning device frames is provided, comprising only five parts, namely a first carrier plate with a first length in the longitudinal direction and a first width in the transverse direction, a second carrier plate with a second length in the longitudinal direction that deviates from the first length and a second width in the transverse direction that corresponds to the first width, a third carrier plate with a third length in the longitudinal direction that deviates from the first and second lengths and a third width in the transverse direction that corresponds to the first and second widths, and a first clamping element, wherein the first clamping element forms longitudinal boundaries of the first, second and third carrier plates, and a second clamping element that forms longitudinal boundaries of the third carrier plate, wherein the second clamping element has a greater length than the first clamping element.
[0014] In the context of the present invention, the length of the clamping elements is defined as the length of the clamping elements by which the clamping elements project in the longitudinal direction beyond the support plates to which they are connected.
[0015] The first length of the first carrier plate is preferably smaller than the second length of the second carrier plate, and the second length of the second carrier plate is smaller than the third length of the third carrier plate.
[0016] The modular frame system makes it possible to produce differently designed frames for different flat mop covers easily and cost-effectively using identical parts with just a few components.
[0017] In the present case, four frames differing from one another in terms of their shape, particularly their length, can be produced using only five parts.
[0018] The five parts that make up the four different flat mop cleaning device frames are the three different support plates and the first and second clamping elements.
[0019] For example, a first frame combines a short first support plate with short first clamping elements. The clamping elements used are all designed as identical parts.
[0020] In a second frame, a relatively longer second support plate is combined with the same first clamping elements. Here, too, the clamping elements used are each designed as identical parts. In a third frame, a third support plate, which is even longer than the first and second support plates, is combined with the first clamping elements. The clamping elements are again designed as identical parts. In a fourth frame, the third support plate of the third frame is combined with second clamping elements that are longer than the first clamping elements.
[0021] The second clamping elements are also designed as identical parts.
[0022] As already mentioned, the aforementioned clamping elements are each designed as identical parts and can be mounted on both the left and right sides of the carrier plates, viewed longitudinally, with springs in the longitudinal direction. This allows a mop cover to be easily pulled onto the frame.
[0023] The second clamping element can have a length in the longitudinal direction that essentially corresponds to a quarter of the third length of the third support plate in the same direction. As a result, the fourth frame has a significantly greater overall length than the third frame, without becoming too cumbersome for the user.
[0024] The clamping elements are designed without a wiper for removing a mop cover from the frame. This is advantageous because there are no protruding parts from the clamping element that could get caught on, for example, protrusions or furniture during the intended use of the cleaning device.
[0025] Furthermore, the invention relates to a cleaning device frame of a frame system, as described above, for a mop cover of a flat mop cleaning device, comprising a carrier plate with two longitudinal sides arranged in the longitudinal direction and two transverse sides arranged in the transverse direction and two clamping elements for clamping the mop cover on the carrier plate, wherein each clamping element is resiliently connected in the longitudinal direction to one of the transverse sides, wherein the carrier plate is intersected centrally in the longitudinal direction by an imaginary plane of symmetry, wherein the carrier plate is designed symmetrically to the plane of symmetry and wherein the clamping elements are designed as identical parts and arranged symmetrically to the plane of symmetry.
[0026] Such a frame is completely symmetrical in terms of its technical features, relative to the plane of symmetry. Handling the frame is simplified for the user because a suitable flat mop cover can be easily attached to the frame in virtually any position.
[0027] Typically, the mop cover must fit tightly around the frame to prevent any relative movement between the mop cover and the frame during intended use of the cleaning device. A mop cover that is pulled tightly onto the frame is usually less easy to pull onto the frame and off as needed. Pulling the mop cover onto and off the frame is made possible by the longitudinally spring-loaded tensioning elements. To pull the mop cover onto and off, these can be elastically compressed in the longitudinal direction of the carrier plate to allow the mop cover to be pulled onto and off the frame. The spring-loaded tensioning elements hold the mop cover taut on the frame under tension during intended use of the cleaning device.
[0028] The tensioning elements, which are elastically and flexibly connected to the carrier plates in the longitudinal direction, allow mop covers with non-standard lengths to be easily fitted onto the carrier plates. Furthermore, the carrier plate can have two openings arranged symmetrically to the plane of symmetry, essentially hand-width apart. The openings extend parallel to the longitudinal axis of the carrier plate. The openings are preferably at least 70 mm long. These openings ensure that the frame can be held ergonomically in one hand when fitting a new mop cover.
[0029] Viewed in the plane of symmetry and symmetrically thereto, as well as in the transverse direction, a mount for attaching a handle can be arranged essentially centrally in the support plate, pivotable about a pivot axis extending parallel to the longitudinal direction. The mount is located essentially at the center of gravity of the support plate.
[0030] The advantage of such a design is that a pocket-shaped mop cover, stretched over the frame, can be used on both sides. The frame with the attached mop cover is simply pivoted around the pivot axis.
[0031] Short description of the drawing
[0032] An embodiment of the frame system according to the invention and a frame from the frame system are described in more detail below with reference to Figures 1 and 2. These each show, in schematic representation:
[0033] Figure 1 : a frame system for a modular construction of four different cleaning device frames,
[0034] Figure 2: a frame of the frame system from Figure 1. Execution of the invention
[0035] Figure 1 shows a frame system for a modular construction of four different cleaning device frames 1, 2, 3, 45.
[0036] All four frames 1 , 2, 3, 45 can be manufactured from a total of only five parts 4 .
[0037] The five parts 4, from which the four different flat wiper cleaning device frames 1, 2, 3, 45 consist, are the three different support plates 5, 10, 46, the first clamping element 13 and the second clamping element 21.
[0038] The modular construction of the cleaning system includes the first carrier plate 5 with the first length 6 in the longitudinal direction 7 and the first width 8 in the transverse direction 9. In addition, the second carrier plate 10 with the second length 11 in the longitudinal direction 7 and the second width 12 in the transverse direction 9. The second length 11 is greater than the first length 6, while the first 8 and second width 12 are the same.
[0039] The cleaning system kit also includes the third support plate 46 with the third length 47 in the longitudinal direction 7 and the third width 48 in the transverse direction 9. The first length 8, the second length 12, and the third width 48 are the same. The first length 6 is smaller than the second length 11, and the second length 11 is smaller than the third length 47.
[0040] In order to be able to pull pocket-shaped flat mop covers onto the frames 1, 2, 3, 45 as easily as possible, the first and second tensioning elements 13, 21 are provided. The first tensioning element 13 is fixed to the first support plate 5 of the first frame 1, the second support plate 10 of the second frame 2, and the third support plate 46 of the third frame 3. To pull the respective mop covers onto the frames 1, 2, 3, 45, the tensioning elements 13, 21 are resiliently connected in the longitudinal direction 7 to the respective longitudinal boundaries 17, 18; 19, 20; 49, 50 of the support plates 5, 10, 46.
[0041] The clamping elements 13, 21 used on each frame 1, 2, 3, 45 are each designed as identical parts.
[0042] With a minimum number of parts 4, five in the embodiment shown, four different frames 1, 2, 3, 45 for corresponding flat mop covers can be produced by cleverly combining the parts 4.
[0043] The frames 1, 2, 3, 45 are each designed to be completely symmetrical to the imaginary plane of symmetry 34, as will be explained in more detail below with reference to Figure 2.
[0044] In Figure 2, the second frame 2 from Figure 1 is shown as an individual part.
[0045] The frame 2 comprises the support plate 25, which has two longitudinal sides 27, 28 arranged in the longitudinal direction 26 and two transverse sides 30, 31 arranged in the transverse direction 29. Furthermore, the frame 2 comprises two clamping elements 32, 33 for clamping a mop cover onto the support plate 25. Each of the identically designed clamping elements 32, 33 is resiliently connected in the longitudinal direction 26 to one of the transverse sides 30, 31.
[0046] In the longitudinal direction 26, the support plate 25 is intersected centrally by the imaginary plane of symmetry 34, wherein the support plate 25 is formed symmetrically to the plane of symmetry 34.
[0047] The symmetry applies to all functionally relevant parts 4. This applies to the support plate 25 itself, the two clamping elements 32, 33 and also to the two essentially hand-width openings 41, 42, which are located in the support plate 25 and extend essentially parallel to the longitudinal direction 26. For fastening the frame 2 to a handle, the pivotable receptacle 44 is provided, which can be pivoted about the pivot axis 43, which extends parallel to the longitudinal direction 26 of the support plate 25. The receptacle 44 is also designed and arranged symmetrically with respect to the plane of symmetry 34.
